Today we’re going to be building this funky little traveling Caravan if you’re building a medieval city or any kind of fantasy build or you’re just a big fan of stardew Valley like I am then this Caravan is going to be great for your Minecraft world it’s surprisingly easy To put together and jam-packed with detail here is the materials list for you guys I know it’s a whole lot of random detail blocks but trust me every block has a purpose anyways to start things off we’re going to be building the wheels I’m thinking we’re gonna make Like the basic shape of the Caravan first and then go through and kind of do a big pass of all the details so starting off here you’re going to want four barrels they’re gonna be on their side and they’re gonna have a one two three block Gap in between all of them You’re gonna take some Spruce trap doors in particular 12 of them and you’re going to be kind of lining the edges of the barrel like so the barrels are of course going to be the wheels and this is to kind of give them a more like rounded look gonna put a spruce button On each of the kind of outer faces of the wheels here just to make it look a little bit like an axle poking through then on the inside here we’re going to do a dark oak fence gate and an upside down dark oak slab in the middle kind of Acting as our connecting axle same thing on the other side of course then on top of each of the fence gates go ahead and put a piece of the stripped Mangrove wood then to connect the front and the back of the Caravan we’re going to be using Mangrove stairs just like that Gonna line the inside with some Birch and then you’re gonna put a birch stair on either end you’re kind of making like a little divot in the middle here this is where the market vendor is going to be standing from inside the Caravan then you’re going to want to pick whichever Side is going to be the front and in this case I’m working with the left hand side right here gonna do two Mangrove stairs facing outwards like that or I guess inwards I’m not really sure TBH two Mangrove trapdoors coming on up then using a temporary block you can go ahead And put two more upside down stairs on the top there you’re going to be creating this really nice kind of oval shape here and that’s going to make up the kind of window into the interior of the Caravan on the front of the Caravan here you’re gonna do two stairs two Stripped wood and then two slabs one there and then one there so they’re kind of like half a block offset coming around the back side here right where the Birch and the dark oak meat you’re gonna put two trapdoors then some upside down stairs and some right side upstairs To make it kind of little rounded Edge right there two more trapdoors on the outside here and then two more trap doors on the inside here once again using a temporary block you can go ahead and put that there and then two more stairs just like that that is going to Be mirroring the front side and now you’ve got a cool little vaguely oval shaped container now to kind of make like the outward facing shelves that we got the items on we’re going to be using two different kinds of trap doors starting from the front end here on the Side of the stair you’re gonna do Birch and then Mangrove Birch Mangrove and more Birch the Shelf is gonna have this very shallow kind of Arc to it because of the two burst trap doors on the end being slightly higher you can go ahead and repeat the entire thing on the other Side now to finish off these shelves here we’re going to be taking some signs and we’re going to actually kind of make a bit of a checkerboard pattern so right on the Birch here we’re going to be using Mangrove and then Birch and Birch below the mangrove trapdoors we’re going To be putting three in the middle here then coming around the back side here we’re just going to have one Birch trapdoor right there we’re going to be filling in that space with details in a little while now we’re almost done with the main structure here but we’re gonna Have to add a roof of course as you saw before in the video this is mainly made up of the dark prismarine and the Warped slabs and this is going to be a little bit tricky because I am doing some texture mixing here I’m doing like a Combination of the two so just be sure to follow along I’m going to explain this in the way that I think is best because the roof is majority dark prismarine I’m going to be building the entire thing in Dark Prince maroon first and then we can go back and add in a Little bit of the Warped just for a little bit of detail so step one is to make these patterns here around those four different stair blocks that are all all facing upwards step two is going to be to place four slabs right there and then a double slab in the middle making It a full block step three is to kind of go along the edges here and this is where things get a little bit weird because you will have to do temporary blocks but you can see how I’ve got three more on this side one more here We’re gonna go ahead and add one more Block in there with the end goal of making the down up down up down up down pattern on the side here seven blocks long then repeat those three blocks on the other edge here and of course to round out the general structure of the roof We’re gonna do that seven block pattern on the back side now here is where you gotta watch a little carefully because I’m gonna be going through and replacing some of these with warp slab just for a little bit of texture mixing like I was saying before so just pay very close Attention to the overhead view here you’re gonna see all of the blocks changing very slowly and that should give you a good idea of where they’re all going to go and now that all of those slabs are in place we can go ahead and do a little bit of detailing here Starting off with some warp trap doors gonna go ahead and do one two three four and then repeat around the other Edge one two three four and now every time we have one of these up slabs here like on these big wavy zigzaggy edges we’re gonna put a sign On the inside of the Caravan where you can see the warp trap doors in the ceiling here gonna put two Mangrove trapdoors for a little bit of sturdiness now it kind of looks like there is like a mangrove wood bar running through the top of the roof here and that’s the roof Completed now for some final touches on the structure on the underside here you can go ahead and do two trap doors and a slab repeat for the other side of course two Birch fence gates and a birch fence and of course for Pete over here and well guys that is the entire main Structure of the Caravan Donna dusted right there the details are the most important part of this build so we’re going to be moving into part two here starting with the environmental details first thing I’m gonna do is take some upside down Sandstone stairs and just really take advantage of that kind of Cracked looking texture that we got you know putting a little bit more kind of behind the wheels when the wheels are rolling they’re probably like crushing up the sand and compressing it a little bit more than you’d normally expect same idea for path blocks here you’re gonna Have a lot of areas where there’s just a lot of like wear and tear on the ground so it makes sense that a lot of the sand would be compressed you know I’m also just kind of throwing in some dead bushes and some sea pickles you need some environmental foliage to make Things all fancy looking so yeah just you know if you won’t hurt right outside the Caravan here I’ve carved out a little bit of a hole in the ground just for like a little campfire so we’re gonna do some mud the actual campfire block itself of course and then a couple Stairs just to kind of give the illusion of like a very very makeshift fire pit right here one little detail I do like to do is sneak in another Spruce trapdoor in the bottom here because it kind of makes it look like the wheels are like sinking into the ground a Little bit which does make sense if the Caravan has been sitting there for any length of time and then out in the front of the Caravan here I had a whole bunch of different boxes you know boxes containing all the goods and the wears that this exotic traveling Caravan is Selling all across the land so we might as well get started with a few of those I’m making some of them out of the mangrove trapdoors is kind of making a very simple box design here so I’ve Buried one in the ground here and then I’m making kind of like walls here with Four more and then I can go ahead and put a trapdoor on the top this one’s gonna have a soul Lantern and this one’s gonna have a pressure plate beehives are also a really good block to use for like a shipping container or container of Some kind so I’m gonna have a small one right here and then a large two by two one at the top over there gonna put some Oak trap doors over the top just for a little bit of depth and then finish things off I just like to throw in a Couple chests and barrels cause you know they are storage items and that’s all of our storage completed now very last step is of course to decorate the interior of the Caravan now you might be thinking that it’s a very small space there isn’t really very much you can do here but With a little bit of trickery a little bit of finesse and a little bit of debug stick action we can actually do quite a bit starting with the front here in my original design I had a piece of bamboo in a pot I had some eye and candles Going along there I had a jungle button and then I had a mangrove fence on the back just like that coming around the back side here we had a barrel a burst sapling in a paw a chest over here and then in order to kind of give the Illusion of like a tapestry kind of hanging over the side here I’m going to be using two cyan banners and two cyan carpets just kind of gently draping off the edge of the Caravan like so gonna add in a few Soul lanterns around the place just give a little bit of extra Light and well my friends that is basically everything and I say basically because there’s a few additional kind of secret little tweaks we can do to this build using a very cool item called the debug stick which unfortunately if you’re playing in survival cannot access the debug stick so if you’re building This in survival I recommend skipping to the time stamp up on screen right now if you’re a creative builder then stick around because I got a couple cool things to show you we’re gonna power this button extend these fences over here and power this pressure plate so nobody Accidentally steps on it and just kind of bursts the entire Box open and folks that is going to be it for today our traveling Caravan in all of its glory and amazing levels of detail is completed I really do hope you guys found this tutorial helpful if you did a Like on the video would be very much appreciated and until next time Gamers this has been Leon and I will see you all in the next Minecraft build tutorial take care my friends Video Information
