Let’s Play Minecraft Hardcore | Amazing Rare Seed! Episode 2

Hello everyone and welcome to episode 2 of my hardcore World very excited to be back at my Base today and we have so much work to do but first of all I think that it is about time that we go on a little Adventure because to be honest I

Basically spawned in this Village I spawned over there um and I walked here and then I stopped that’s all I did so I think we ought to have a little look around the seed at the start of the episode and just see what it has to offer but before we could

Do that we need some food luckily there are a bunch of full-grown cows over here wow that’s so weird I have no idea where all those cows went right okay so now I’m gonna go ahead and just grab some Cobble we’ll make a smoker in order to

Deal with this I think we should probably have some of these workbenches kind of in our village here although it will affect the villagers um that’s okay we’re just gonna have to put up with that right there we go a smoker and we’ll just put this right

Here I don’t have anything decorated yet but this will do the trick you know what while I’m at it let’s put the crafting table inside too the food is cooked now and I think it’s time for our adventure no more stalling we do have a full set

Of iron armor we have a water bucket we can make more tools I think I’m good I think I’m ready to go all right now we just have to pick the direction and to be honest I really like the look of that desert that was over here because

There’s a chance that a desert Tempo could spawn in it so let’s go there first all right here’s the desert the first thing that I am noticing is there is at least a few things that we can gather here we can grab some of the cactus for a material and also there’s

Some acacia wood over there that we can get a sapling from if we ever want to build out of that I find that when I’m making a world at first that’s one of my first objectives is just get all of the materials that I can Hmm this does

Appear to be a desert island though and it’s just bordered by Savannah so we might be at a bit of a dead end here time to hop in a boat and head over here to snags and Acacia oh look at my Village oh my gosh that’s gonna be so pretty

Kind of cool for like kind of a random seed I know I typed the seat in but like I didn’t mean for it to be this cool it’s kind of awesome oh I see some pumpkins yay okay so I’m just gonna very quickly grab some acacia wood and let

Some saplings fall down so we can farm this back of the village this is actually a really pretty block I feel like I under use acacia wood all right pumpkins and saplings have been acquired and it appears there’s not a whole lot else in this direction and I think I’d

Like to kind of do a full circle around where I live so I’m gonna hop back in my boat maybe sleep first and see where the rest of the world takes me all right off we go again on our grand Adventure I’m curious if any of you are playing

Through a survival world right now what tactic do you use for exploring so I know that some people really enjoy exploring day one so they can set their base up in a cool area but to be honest I’m more of a settle at spawn type of person and figure out what the seed

Looks like later I just don’t like wandering around day one I like getting a starter base setup but I guess that just depends on everyone’s preference oh my gosh look at that oh the village is literally right there and there’s Coral oh my goodness I love Coral biomes yes yes I know that’s

Not what they’re called but I’m I’m gonna call them that let’s go see this is such a pretty area of the world I can’t really collect any of this Coral yet I don’t want to ruin it but I’m enjoying just being here wow oh and there’s a shipwreck look how big this is

Oh wait why do I love it oh is that a portal wait wait oh no this is not real what the heck I literally live right there what I’ve never found one of those in survival mode before the seed is literally just subscribed to Gemini today that’s that’s the seed what the

Heck okay we gotta go see the mushroom phylum because I’m so excited I haven’t seen one of these in Forever first things first let’s take a little pit stop at the ruined portal which appears to be almost finished nah it’s got a lot of crying I’m sitting never mind

Um we do get some normal obsidian and flint and steel though so that’s pretty cool and some gold um I’ll come back for that oh my goodness it’s a mushroom Island that is literally surrounded by Coral look at this I’ve never in my life seen a seed like this what the heck

I’m so mad that this is a hardcore world what if I die I’m gonna lose this this is amazing oh we have to build something out here eventually hello mushrooms oh my gosh you guys are so cute I want to bring some of you home all right cows

It’s been a lovely visit but I must return to my boat first things first let’s go over here and check out this shipwreck and see if there’s anything good I’m gonna go ahead and make myself a door so that I can hopefully survive this okay and we head down right oh up awkward

Paper and books which is definitely gonna come in handy let’s see what the buried treasure map looks like okay I think that’s fairly nearby and last one I think is over here yeah yeah bamboo oh that’s so cool actually oh wait feather falling 4 on boots excuse me I

Mean I know they’re leather boots but that’s literally how I die wait that’s so good for me oh my gosh I think the buried treasure map is pointing kind of towards this island over here so I’m gonna go Scout it out okay I’m almost there I think

I think it’s gonna be these islands over here okay it’s filling in so I think that it must be this island what what I think it um it must be this island right here why there’s a Mesa hahaha ah there’s a Mesa I don’t even have one

Of these in my let’s play worlds what it’s beautiful how the heck I can almost see the mushroom biome and the Mesa and I’m within like a thousand blocks of Spawn I don’t know what to think this is amazing this is the best scene ever okay

So the trick with these is you see my little pointer on the map hang on let me okay do you see my little pointer on the map I’ve made it bigger um I’m just gonna line up the center right there um so to see if I back up no that’s not

Backwards this is no that’s far as hang on if I back up do you see how it has like a pointer on it um so basically I’m gonna do my best right there to line up that pointer and then I’m going to walk forward until just the butt of my arrow is through

Yeah right there so if my calculations are correct this right here should be the treasure ah it is yes yes right here easy whoa heck yeah oh my gosh it’s so good to find stuff like this wowie bright treasure was a success don’t forget to break the chest and now we can

Move along you know what I do kind of want to see the Mesa oh my gosh I didn’t expect this to be so eventful I just wanted like maybe another Village or a desert temple but no we’re finding all the rare biomes all of them all at once

Wow okay mesa’s are absolutely stunning but to be honest I’m never really sure what to build in them and it’s really unfortunate but we are definitely going to be able to use this Mesa to get some really cool building materials for the village yep it’s beautiful okay we’re

Definitely gonna have to come back here another day and do a full exploration of the Mesa and also the mushroom biome but my inventory is looking super full so I’m gonna make a quick pit stop back at home before I do more luckily for me home is only like 800 blocks away and

That that my friends is incredible hello dolphin oh you’re so cute oh my gosh I love the way dolphins swim along boats it’s so adorable oh that was danger is the dolphin okay dolphin you good jeez what was that oh it’s a big like crevasse that’s amazing underwater ravine

Whoa danger danger bubbles okay we leave we leave the danger bubbles we go up this is the wrong way right we go home I think I’ve basically done a big circle around the spawn Island kind of semi-circle yeah there’s some mountains so this must be home wait there’s Mesa

Next to the mountains wait there’s Mesa everywhere how how did I miss this okay I think if I’m correct this is my home please be my home are you my home this is the worst part about exploring a new world I’m not sure where my home is

Like I could figure it out because of that spawn so I could make a compass and figure it out really quickly but I’m just not super familiar is this where I spawned in oh this looks right yeah this is where I spawn in those mountains were throwing me off Bakers

Yes home sweet home back at the Village ah it’s nice to be home it’s crazy how different it is here I think you come here and you think it’s just a normal Minecraft world oh there’s a swamp oh okay with dolphins are putting on a show

I never knew there was a swamp there that’s kind of cool yeah it looks so normal over here you would never know that there’s a massive Coral biome a mushroom Island and a Mesa in that ocean you would never know it ha I’m home the villagers do not care I don’t think they

Miss me at all I’m did you miss me I’m keeping you safe you know I’m gonna upgrade this whole place they don’t care they do not care one bit if nothing else today it would be really nice get kind of a tree farm going with all the different types of saplings so

We still need Spruce and jungle I think am I missing one maybe I’m missing one but Spruce and jungle for sure we can also get the bamboo growing for some scaffolding which will be really nice all right cows did you miss me at least I feed all of you

There you go there’s enough for everyone all right all of my stuff has been dropped off and to be honest I really enjoyed that Adventure so I’m gonna head back to my boat and go out again I just want to at least go into this mountain

Biome over here and see if I can’t grab any Spruce and now that I’ve seen the swamp I’d like to go there too just feel like since I didn’t do any in the last episode it’s a good idea for me to really make sure that I have my bearings

In this world and what a beautiful world it is so relaxing doing this exploring I kind of missed it after so long in a world you kind of lose the need to explore and I missed it so much this is so much fun all right let’s head up on land here and

See what we can find in this swamp lots of sheep interesting all right I love these flowers they might be one of my favorites so I’m definitely gonna take a few home seems like there’s lots of spruce wood up on the top of these mountains so I’m gonna try my best to

Climb up there this is making me so excited for the next Minecraft update though oh my gosh the mountains are gonna be intense I can’t wait perfect made it to the top let’s grab some Spruce Wood I love building out of this it’s such a simple neutral block

Definitely need it all right Spruce saplings have been acquired I suppose we can move on now look at this mountain biome Terrain I actually really really like it this biome used to be my favorite to build in like back in 2013 2014 oh my gosh I loved Mountain biomes I remember on

Pocket Edition back in 2013 which is what I used to play there was a seed called neon which had this big lava fall in like an underside of a mountain and I absolutely adored it I played that scene over and over again I loved it I’m pretty happy with the amount of

Exploring I’ve gotten done in this episode so for now I think it’s time to head back to the base and get some more of that progress done that we desperately need it is good to be home with my villagers hello buddy can I help you with your farm here you’re not

Exactly doing a great job to be honest of keeping up with things but it’s okay I’m not judging you I’m just helping oh cool the city place I hadn’t actually done any farming yet and it’s episode two that’s actually pretty rare normally I have Farms up and running but we’re

Kind of living around the villagers this time so we’re we’re benefiting off of them dude you’re squishing you’re squishing your farm by standing on that you know that right it’s not a good habit let’s actually reset your trades if you don’t mind and see if we can get

One that is wheat we really need wheat there we go 20 wheat that’s perfect so now I can lock in this villager and we’ll be able to get emerald here do you want your seeds back yeah there you go life at our village is good but there

Are several more farms and things that we need for kind of day-to-day life in hardcore mode that I would like to get established so I’m gonna come out here and just chop down some of this wood to get us some supplies now next on the list is our base here

And I’ve been doing a little tiny bit of work because obviously we’ve collected all of this stuff and first of all let’s just quickly make some tools I am finally making an iron ax and I’ll make an iron pickaxe as well this episode but for now I’ve been digging out this whole

Room which is very exciting because this is going to be our storage room and this is the area that is directly under our house up there hello buddy the fact that you can get in here worries me to be honest I this is not secure and I knew

That when I made it but I have better I had a better idea for this spot so I’m just kind of lazy hey are you happy wow those are kind of lame trades I won’t lie so basically we have this area right here that is directly under the

Staircase and I think it would be kind of cute to have this be a doorway as well but I will say I’m not exactly sure how this links up so I’m gonna kind of try and test it out ah there we go so it’s not actually that far at all that’s

Perfect so now it’s just the simple job of clearing out this room I actually don’t mind doing this because I’m using Cobble as a decoration so it’s going to be kind of nice to be able to have this a new advancement isn’t it iron pick perfect this is so much faster for

Mining oh my gosh I’m so glad that I went and explored to get some of that iron those easy upgrades are so important wait did I just hear a cat is that cat still hanging around hello is there a kitty in here oh there is

There is oh my gosh it’s so cute where did you come from hi okay um I would like a pet cat please hang on one moment just gonna come out to the water in here oh why is there so many cod fish it’s like Newfoundland hello fishies thank you for your sacrifice

You’re gonna go to a wonderful feline friend of mine all right I got 12 fish now where is the kitty oh there it is hello oh my goodness you’re so cute you’re gonna eat all my fish okay oh I was worried for a moment there hello you’re just the cutest little thing oh

My gosh you need a name what are we gonna name you I don’t know people in the comments can you think of a name for my kitty please where’d you go um why are cats so much harder to control than dogs come here kitty are you purring oh my gosh I’ve never

Heard that before what come in here come come on it’s safe in here yeah there we go okay I’m just gonna sit you right there well this is extra good because one very cute pet but two it’s a creeper protection which is super important villager are you

Confused oh buddy oh dear all right well that that’s fine right back to work for me in the storage room all right the storage room is looking much better all cleared out now all I have to do is sort of fill in the walls create the pillars

Make it look nice and get the chests in place I also need to decide what exactly to do with this staircase because well to be honest it’s uh it’s got a lot going on do like a pillar to come in you’re so confusing one of the ideas

That I had was to turn this into like a furnace area because well I need quite a lot of furnaces and this seems like an easy obvious spot I don’t know how I feel about this but it’s kind of cute kind of functional kind of I’m gonna think about it okay but like

It’s kinda cute right it’s not I mean it’s a little weird somebody in the comments suggested a waterfall which I love I just I’m not sure how to put a water feature here and still have it kind of connect in through maybe I’ll think more on that and for now let’s

Just kind of work with this so this is a slight Improvement but I do think that we can improve this entire gait area as a whole so I’m gonna attempt to do that now like maybe if we put a pillar here in space three and then one right here

Up sorry breaking my legs um up like this maybe and I’m gonna take down this unsafe gate area grabbing a little bit more dark oak wood for the build and then I’m just gonna make another Tower here and kind of separate it out with some of this logs we’ll

Build up the walls with Cobble once again I know it’s a lot of Cobble but it’s such an easy beginning game resource we can always change it out later it’s not a big deal okay I kind of like it I think this is going to be so

Much better oh let me just hop down I have feather falling now so I only took one heart that’s that’s actually incredible this is what a good enchant okay that’s way better so now all I have to do is turn this into more of a gate

Or just maybe do entirely gates to be honest like what if this was just all Gates what is what is stopping me from doing three gates here nothing let’s do it let’s just do it all right gates are in place and that is going to be so much

Safer for us you know what we really need to fix up this terrain as well let’s get this all filled in perfect now one of the main things I want to do here is instead of having this just be a wall we’re going to have

This be a walkway so it’s going to go all the way across and we’re going to be able to enter right here all right now I’m just going to recycle some of these stairs and slabs that I used before to kind of decorate a railing here am I

Going a little too ham for hardcore yes probably do I care no not really this is fun I have one more furnace left so I’m just kind of slowly putting together my little kitchen in here and it’s working pretty well I’m actually going to smelt

Up a little bit of this Cobble so that we can use it for extra decorations and then we’re going to recycle these trap doors to use them as railing along here me and the villagers will not be able to figure this out because the villagers can’t jump over trap doors sir

Sir no I haven’t I haven’t made it safe yet how oh my gosh did I get distracted from the original Mission yes was it worth it also yes absolutely look at look at my base it’s so much better it needs the castle top part but that’s okay I’m working on that

Wowie this is way better work on the storage room as continued and so far I really like it in here it’s cozy and we can actually raise the ceiling if we need to we have tons and tons of space in here so this is going to be great for

Some beginning level storage but obviously it’s taking a bit of time to place all the blocks because we’re still in beginning game now back to work on that main entrance that we started I’m going to use this stone brick to create like little castle granulations right on

Top of here and for that we’re gonna need some stairs and slabs of course and now I’m just overlaying the stairs on these Corners then I’m going to connect them together with some slabs hopefully this will give the effect that I want and then we just go along this just like

So to get the castle granulations all right very cool now we have this lovely Tower right here that we can go up and down and properly protect the entrance even more assuming we ever have to I mean it’s mostly just decorative but I like it oh hey look my sugar Cane’s

Grown oh how lucky oh my gosh we’re gonna have books in no time this is satisfying beautiful while we’re out here I do think that there is another farm that we really need and it involves those guys right over there yeah them okay so I’m gonna make a pen right here

For some sheep so that we can start collecting some wool I think it’s going to be kind of important both for building and for some farming stuff I’d like to be able to have carpets I’d like to be able to have beds for the villagers it’s just a good thing to have

Firstly though gotta make a bunch of sticks so that I can make some fences honestly I think this part right up here is going to be perfect for some sheep the ground isn’t exactly even but I can make it work almost made enough ah okay let’s add a decoration pillar and pretend that

I made enough fences it’s all good hello sheep hello hello yes yes come here please everybody not you cow not you all right perfect yep everybody just pile on in this way please thank you very much perfect perfect and let’s get some babies please beautiful so I’m not using

The sheep for food so I don’t need to make a whole bunch of them but I can dye these sheep different colors now let’s start with a yellow one just for fun I already have so many dandelions wow here you go yellow it’s a beautiful

Color on you I don’t know why I have so many dandelions in my inventory but I guess this is dandelion hill now because there’s that’s a lot that’s fine it’s a garden oh look we have poppies over here it’s perfect now I’m going to use the rest of this

Wood that I collected to just make a whole bunch of chests and that to be honest wasn’t that many but it’s a good place to get started at the very least I can start getting organized based off of this we don’t have that many things yet

Anyways we do have a little bit of leather and while normally I would not want to use leather for this because it’s kind of valuable in the early game I do think it’d be kind of cool to get a couple of item frames going and we’ve collected a bunch of books and paper

Anyways so I don’t think we need to be stressed let’s just label a couple of these let’s make this one kind of our early mining materials like all of this Stone stuff perfect this is a great start now this is probably not the most efficient use of space but maybe I can

Put some barrels in the middle I get kind of happy about decorating things so I had a thought I mean what if what if we use this for a bit of greenery right like that and then we could turn it into a flower pot by very simply creating just like so a composter

This is going to affect the villagers but composters make farmer villagers which never hurt anybody that’s perfect of course we can have another layer of chest on top of this and this part can be slapped oh my shower broke my bad right that is going to be perfect I’m so

Excited to work on this room more I’ve decided to do this trim all the way around not sure how I feel about it yet but it’s it’s not bad it’s something it’s definitely something I’ll figure it out it’s fine the next thing that I’m going to do to decorate this area a

Little bit is just add a simple little table it’s kind of crafting themed right in the center here I think this will look kind of cool a cute little table oh it’s perfect we can put our brewing stand on that if we ever get one and

Yeah just just a nice work area and I really love it it’s another kitty my gosh they’re spawning wait I kind of want it oh dear this is gonna be a problem isn’t it I’m gonna be a crazy cat lady Where’d I put my fish wait did another Iron Golem spot as well

Gosh this Village is doing so well and I’m not even trying oh hey Kitty oh you’re cute one fish it only took you one fish oh my goodness you have different eye colors too how do I end up with two cats with different eye colors come on come on Kitty I’ll

Show you to the house all right Kitty in you go right so now I have two cats feel like this is going to become a trend another quick thing that I can do to help the quality of life of my villagers is actually create some beds something I’ve kind of neglected to do

And they don’t actually have enough beds per villagers in the village so I’m gonna be nice to them and just make them a couple more beds like for example I think we stole the house from this blacksmith so I’m just gonna give the blacksmith a bed There You Go sir it’s

All yours and then this bed is going to be red and I’ll find somebody to give that to maybe the stone Mason I think the stone Mason doesn’t have a bed so let’s put a bed in the stone Mason’s house hello I took your clay but I’m

Giving you back a bed so I think we’re even I think I hope and finally it’s probably a good idea oh did you just make bone wheel I’ve never seen them do that before dude you’re so smart I’m gonna trade with you there you go thank you for the emeralds

This one is almost upgraded which is cool I know that this episode is getting a little long but to be honest I’m just really enjoying playing in this world so I hope that you don’t mind I’m smelting up some Bricks now because I have been working in my storage room right here we

Are so I changed up the ladder because I was reading my comments and some of you had the amazing idea to just connect everything together look at this I can come up through my house which I need to do the interior for and all the way up

Into a tower so it’s like super convenient because if anything is going on from my storage room I don’t have to leave I can just come straight up I don’t know I feel really happy about this it’s really nice and it gives me a bigger idea for the entire picture of

How this base is going to be laid out like maybe eventually we could have tunnels going anywhere so that we can safely travel from one place to another I don’t know maybe I’m thinking too far ahead but it’s kind of fun to think about right okay better chop down some

More wood because I am doing so much building I’m really going through materials like crazy I’m doing my best to make this storage room and house in general just super cozy so I’m using a few of more of these bricks to just make a fireplace this Hillside right here

Also really needs some love so I’m gonna use some acacia wood that we found earlier to kind of fix it up a little bit slowly but surely adding more different color and variety to the base it can’t all happen in one episode I saw a bunch of you in episode one being like

Dexter the Cobble guys I don’t I don’t have Mossy Cobble or anything like that yet it takes exploring and being in a world for a little while to be able to get those materials and don’t worry I’m definitely working on it the diorite’s just gonna have to do there for now but

There’s a wall honestly yeah this is kind of cute I I don’t hate it for sure um let’s just add in place oh and I need to break that there we go maybe this will work then I’m just gonna craft a campfire and plop it right in there

Oh yeah that kind of does warm up the area a nice amount it’s not bad let’s get one of my flowers from today now and just plop it right on top ah perfect obviously I need to fix the wall in the back maybe we’ll do an
