Let’s Play Minecraft Hardcore | I DONT WANT TO DIE

Hello everyone and welcome to episode 15 of hardcore now i must say i’m getting a little bit worried we have a lot going on in this world it’s very built up and beautiful but i’ve been watching my friends play hardcore recently and well they’re scaring me to be quite honest with you

I was watching flip right fold let the right armor elytra all of the things that you would need in a hardcore world that is pretty much maxed out and in the end game died to a creeper okay that’s scary jimmy jimmy died to a creeper mythical sausage died to a vex smallish

Beans fought an enderman over the void died i’m i’m scared i’m not gonna lie and i think that we have not quite taken the proper precautions around here to be as protected as we can be from death now where is my cleric i swear i have one oh

Right over here hello cleric so right there’s a couple of things that we can do to be more prepared in this village hello pierre thank you very much um one of these is a totem of undying a totem of undying is something you can hold in your

Offhand where i currently have my shield and it helps you escape death it gets consumed on use but you know it’d be really useful i think if we had one however getting a total of undying involves fighting an evoker which are the things that spawn vex which is the things that

Killed my friend mythical sausage so i’m thinking right we need a safe way to go about this and first things first we need to upgrade our gear i’ve been grinding out a little bit of xp and i currently have a level 30. first thing i’m going to do upgrade my bow

Because if i can fight an evoker from a far and safe distance i feel like that’s gonna be the best way to do it so let’s head up here and get enchanting we have a bow up here ready to go and flame okay flaming and breaking you know what i’ll actually

I will combine those together i think power three punch two unbreaking and flame is not a bad foe i’ll take what i can get that’s fine i would also love to get a better enchant on these diamond leggings i’m pretty sure the diamond leggings are one that i bought from

The armor yeah they’re just straight from this armorer here i never upgraded them so i think we need like a general protection on them i’m gonna go ahead now and head down in the zombie grinder see if i can’t get a little bit more prepared for this and get 30 more xp

To do an enchanting it’s very dark in here but they should spawn just fine and yeah just gotta get three levels all right mission accomplished 30 levels achieved let’s go enchant some pants oh hello what do you have for me absolutely nothing wonderful thank you yeah all right who is burning your zombie

Maybe i’m crazy i don’t know all right so first things first take off pants and we’re gonna go put these in the grindstone to get rid of the blast protection 2 enchant um in here thank you very much then we head back over to the library

And re-enchant them and hope that we get something better than blast protection too the bar is low it shouldn’t be hard please fire protection three ah it’s not the best oh gosh oh i i i don’t know that that’s better it’s not worse it’s like about the same it’s not going

To be useful for me against vex i was hoping for like a general protection although i suppose i should have just rerolled ah oh well this is hardcore and i can’t take any risks so i’m gonna keep going and getting levels until i actually get an enchantment that i want on these pants

It’s just not worth it like i could go in with fire protection i could and save myself some time but it’s hardcore what if i die because of my pants that’d be embarrassing i don’t want that gotta stop and harvest the sugarcane first because it wouldn’t be a hardcore

There we go 11 emeralds should be more than enough to trade with the fletcher thank you and i think you’re gonna get upgraded yeah look at that what do we got what do we got oh that’s actually pretty cool but uh 17 emeralds it’s not really worth um thank you though okay

Here’s the plan we’re gonna use these golden nuggets to create some um these glistening melons because these are a recipe for i think instant health potions one of the good potions and we’re gonna use that and make some potions for our journey so the potions that i would like to brew

Are instant health 2 and i’m going to make them splash poses in order to get instant health 2 though i do need some glowstone um redstone extends glowstone amplifies i think this logic makes sense to me let’s do it oh we’re almost out of fuel okay we might only have enough for one

Potion let’s see if i have more i do we’re in luck thank goodness okay two more there we go instant health and now i think we do a glowstone perfect and a gunpowder awesome okay so with six of these we should be quite a lot harder to kill and we can at least

Instantly recover ourselves if we get in trouble i’ll feel a lot safer with them i am only now realizing that i could have bought glycerin melon slices from pierre that’s that’s on me that’s my bad whoopsie i can however buy some floating carrots so i think i’m gonna go ahead and grab some

Of those thank you okay friends listen here is the plan we are going to go to some random village that we know nothing about we’re gonna get bad omen one the easiest level it’s still going to be very hard because we’re on hardcore but we’re going to go get it

And then we’re going to trigger a raid in a random village not this village i don’t want a trigger right in this village we’re not ready we don’t have castle walls i’m going to strategically place myself so that i can hopefully kill an evoker we’re gonna kill an evoker

And get out we just leave we leave the village in ruin i mean if we can handle it we’ll do it but if we can’t handle it we leave that is my plan i am sticking to it thank you very much there’s probably about a million reasons

Why what i’m about to do is not a good idea in hardcore mode but to be honest i’m just sort of excited hi gus gus how are you doing melky honestly i think you ought to sit this one out okay so here is the savannah village that i raided before

Raided by that i mean i i stole some hay bales i think there was another village just past it so i’m gonna go look for that one actually i might be lying i think this is just where i found the horses um that might be the village that we

Have to use you know what this will be a fine one to trigger a raid in the only thing is i would like to trap at least some of the villagers in their houses so we don’t kill off the entire population why is the waterfall getting worse

Chicken what to do alright i have successfully trapped three villagers inside the houses so yep and to the rest of them may the odds be ever in your favor okay now the next mission we have to find a pillager patrol or one of those fancy tower things don’t

Know which one we’ll hit first but we’ll go on a little explore and see what happens i think i should be able to get back here hey i’m fine i got it it’s all under control i’d be lying to you if i said i wasn’t slightly worried about the fact that i

Am fully committed to this now for an episode but i’ll be fine oh hey through another portal anything cool golden horse armor not bad i’ll come back for it really struggling with the concept of there not being a single pillager patrol but there is doggies and i didn’t bring any bones

Long ways out so i figure i may as well commit to a little bit further i’m gonna wander for 30 more minutes in this world if i don’t find anything after that then uh we’ll we’ll call it gg and go home look how pretty this area is though look

At the foxes and the sheep and the lake ah this would be a really pretty place to live doggos finally we found what looks to be half of a pillager tower thingy i’ll i’ll figure out the name of it by the end of the episode it’s an outpost i googled it it’s

Inconvenient direction i’m gonna shoot at the first enemy it’s confused it’s very confused but it’s wandering in the correct direction oh it sees us it sees us nailed it so what we need to do is we need to find the one of these that is a captain so it has the banner

Are they keeping horses why are they keeping horses it’s so cool that it has a little tent though that’s kind of neat oh hello surprise i have doggos that’s right i wonder if there’s anyone on the inside these are kind of cool buildings but there’s never actually that much

In them which is why i didn’t go inside right away like it’s it’s cool but it’s not that crazy all right pillagers what are you gonna do i own your tower now please spawn a captain i would like that a lot come on doggos so far they’re just kind of funneling in

Up the stairs which i’m fine with just we got them one by though one is very sad oh sorry doggo there you go A captain yes thank goodness finally all right very important that we killed there we go okay voluntary exile i now have the effect bad omen indefinitely until i will step into a village now you’d think that i would step in that village because that was that’s actually very convenient that that’s there but

You know what we set up a village back at home so i’m gonna walk 4 000 blocks and go trigger raid in that specific village come on doggies you know what you guys all deserve a collar i’m gonna pick up some flowers here’s an orange one you get orange because you’re

Super fierce and fiery like the sun and then we’ll get a blue one there we go who gets light blue you get light blue you’re like our calm nice energy i love it and you get to stay red okay sleeping with a dog in my face this

Is good this is the calm energy that i needed thank you blue all right this is a little bit awkward i won’t oh that’s this is not what i wanted um i have three dogs one human and one boat and we don’t all fit okay you know what it’s a long way

But i’m also just gonna make a little pillar right here there we go brilliant okay that’s one dog where’s that come on you gotta teleport buddy why not do i need to make the platform bigger oh there we go there we go okay brilliant i’m glad that we’ve understood that um

So i think we can make it to there come on doggos you gotta teleport to me there we go brilliant okay i like it okay we are just gonna try and walk some of the rest of the distance all right doggos we are almost there we’re so close i’m pretty

Sure this is the savannah that has the village in it that i set up to be raided which is great i’m struggling a little bit with whether or not i should allow the doggos in on the fight or if i should sit them outside it i think i should fight alone i don’t

Think i should make the doggos fight okay i see the village though and it’s making me nervous so you just have to get kind of close to the village for it to trigger like you don’t have to stand directly in the center and then it triggers

So as soon as i walk towards it it’s gonna trigger okay dogs um you’re gonna sit over here okay we’re all just you’re gonna have a little sit it’s gonna be fine all right i’m ready to enter the village being very brave this builder is going to practice

Some pve oh my gosh i’m stressed when is it gonna start okay there it goes there it goes oh my gosh i’m stressed it’s fine this is fine okay we’re gonna just try and stay in the center here and hopefully the first rounds are easy up here up here okay perfect

I have horrible aim this is not a good start got you okay this is fine this is fine look at them it’s easy they can’t shoot me up here oh my gosh my castle in my real village is gonna work so well for this okay next round

Is starting up the iron golem thankfully is helping me out a little bit i think it’s this way it is it is look at that okay there’s vindicators in this one but still no evoker i think the voker comes in one of the last rounds i suck why do i suck hello pillagers

Pillagers are not too hard to pick off i am a little worried about my aim though with the evoker i’m glad that i’m getting some practice in thank you iron golem next round next round so far this is pretty good there we go they’re coming from this way

Oh this time we have a ravanger oh no that’s not good i’m gonna try to focus it so it doesn’t get my gollum oh my gosh at least they’re easier to hit okay we got this we got this one more two more two more where’s the second one vindicator hello

That was easy huh good job gollum i feel like we’re a good team we got something good going here here you go let me heal you again there we go i’m willing to keep this iron golem alive it’s helping it’s helping do we have a witch we do have a witch that’s fun

I might have to go actually kill the witches because they’re buffing them um but this is fine look this pillager is like at a post over there i love it let’s hop down and see oh there’s a witch come on gollum we got her we got her

Easy last hit okay two craters remaining they might have spawned in like the caves over here gollum did you see them i found a villager in a cave okay i guess i’ll ring the bell and see if they show up it should give them an effect oh

There was one underground is that right okay i see the witch is that our witch i wonder any luck killing this witch will do the trick yes one raider remaining okay so i just have to find the vindicator that also got trapped down here oh my gosh it’s massive how am i gonna

Find this vindicator all right where is the vindicator right down here okay we are gonna we’re gonna dig straight down because i don’t know what else to do i can’t seem to find it okay here i hear the vindicator perfect hello there you are brilliant okay

The problem is now the raid is starting again oh my gosh ring the bell that’s it that’s it okay we did it we did it oh my gosh there’s the evoker do you see it okay that is the very dangerous part of this entire

Ordeal oh i just let my golem on fire oh no oh this is not good at all this is really not good okay i killed the evoker there’s a totem of undying right there i just have to get to it and my golem is dying

Do i go down and save the golem what’s the move here golem if you come close i can heal okay perfect perfect oh dear it’s a battle of the beast oh my god i’m lost i go i’m lost okay well i tried it’s fine because there’s a totem

I’m gonna hop down and get it thank you oh my goodness i can’t die this is so exciting that’s exactly what i wanted um didn’t go exactly how i thought it was gonna go but that doesn’t matter where’s the last two they don’t seem to be appearing with the bell

What are you two doing are we taking a bath oh there’s two vindicators just taking a bath look at them i don’t feel like it’d be right for me to interrupt this love story no i have to i’m kidding well we’ll get him hang on it’s so speedy what what

What what is happening i love just watching the chaos because there’s no villagers for them to kill i wish i could hit that evoker bro who gave that evoker a speed potion like that was the last thing that it needed what is going on here this is the weirdest game of merry-go-round i’ve

Ever seen what like what is it doing and the witch just keeps buffing it i will hop down and just just see what happens hi vindicator thank you and evoker you’re gonna be scary um yep that’s the scary part that’s the scary part i don’t like them i don’t like them

I killed it i did it i did it did it manage to spawn vex i don’t think so but i got a second tote of him undying and there’s one raider left and i’m not interested in having another wave so i think on that note we will leave

I will collect my doggos though i will do that doggos i have done it i have done it i have why can’t unsit please i have successfully gotten a total of them undying completed a village raid super awesome stuff if you don’t mind i’d now like to go

Home and i’m going to take all of you with me this was fun i feel like this was a really good healthy adventure for us we’ve been doing a lot of building at the base and this was nice i needed this okay doggos everybody is home let’s go

Check on our lovely village now that we’ve terrorized a different one everybody appears to be fine gus gus is patrolling the walls the berry bushes have grown farm is looking beautiful as ever hello gollums ah it’s good to be home all right doggos so i have a mission for some of these doggos

One of the flaws in having iron golems tied up is they just don’t work as well but if we have doggos posted kind of outside cat for the creeper dog go for the skeleton they don’t get shot at as much so maybe just positioning some dogs to

Kind of help with that would be good please walk through the piston door thank you so we can probably do similar things in other areas like up here on the wall we can have some dogs posted and that could be really cute hey do you want to sit there you go all right

Perfect i love having dogs in the village now that i’m carrying a totem of undying on me all the time i feel so much better even if there’s a random creeper that shows up i’m okay and i have another one to replace it so i don’t have to go put myself in danger

Again anytime soon okay so next thing that i want to talk about is within our base and it’s this wall over here so i’m thinking we have two big towers in each of these back corners i have one of them marked out right over here but i think we could have another one

Right on the end of this building just to better sort of connect up this wall that’s right here i think it would make a lot of sense and would just make it look more castley over on the side so i’m just gonna mark in kind of the

Rough shape of how i would want a tower there’s nothing like a good adventure to get me back in the mood for building oh my gosh i’m so excited to work on this castle i think the next big thing that i really want to do is just finish this wall

Like it would be lovely to have this going all the way around the village so that we can really start transforming what’s on the inside and the outside and get ready to do an actual big raid in my own village like i’m kind of excited for that

Okay so here’s kind of the shape of the tower i think i like it a lot better like this and now all i got to do is plan out the next layer of the wall so this is obviously where it’s going to connect up it’s going to be

Double thick again and it’ll just run along here so it expands slightly the inside only slightly though and i am going to change the shape down here because i’m not quite happy with what we have going at the moment okay so here’s what i want i want this wall instead of being like

This flat side this flat side and then this diagonal and this flat side i just want a straight diagonal right here so it’s going to massively expand out this portion and it’s going to give us closer access to the water where i think we can have some docks

Kind of connecting up to the wall it’ll be really cute aesthetically and it shouldn’t change anything defense wise so that means i need to go ahead and try and go out on a diagonal from this definitely curious to see exactly how this is gonna line up okay

Right here this is how it lines up so this straight wall here connects just like so that’s so nice this is gonna be so much extra space that was already in the village before oh i love it all right here we go opening up the village just a little bit

But i am officially going to take down this wall so i can see what it looks like with all the extra space this definitely makes me glad that i put up this temporary wall because it allowed me to kind of visualize the whole shape of this area and get an idea of

What i wanted before i committed to the design so now i know that i don’t like this shape and i want a better one slightly simpler one and i can do it really easily actually i’m gonna keep a little bit of this cobble in place as a retaining wall

Kind of similar to how we have around the town square and i’ll just fill in the dirt up to meet it honestly this layer might even be needed it might be taking off a little too much i’m not gonna take off anymore after this one yeah

There we go so that’s gonna stay in place so we’re gonna fill this in with dirt and this will be like a little lower area that’s so cute i like it it gives us so much more space for this road to kind of continue a little bit ah

It’s lovely what am i gonna do with all these ominous banners that i get i feel like we need a room somewhere or maybe like a dungeon down in the tunnels where we can just sort of display all of these and kind of scare away our enemies now i

Have had quite the significant amount of adventures today so i think i’m about done on the adventuring side i’m gonna do a little bit of farming and see if i can’t get some emeralds and get rich off of these villagers in real life here today we’ve been getting

So much snow and it’s been so lovely right now it’s saturday morning when i’m recording this i did a little bit of editing i have a cup of tea next to me and i’m just like farming we just finished a raid i’m in my pj’s still

This is so chill and nice after a long week ah it’s lovely gosh i haven’t even harvested like i’ve probably harvested half of this field and look at the amount of carrots i have it’s actually kind of too many hello guest guesses farmers i have a treat for you i have

Some potatoes and carrots where are my farmers this is my where why are the villagers never in their assigned stations hello ah here’s my farmers hello pierre i don’t have anything that you sell i need barbara where’s barbara why are we stuck in the door come on

Come on use your brains your very small brains thank you shut the door in my face why don’t you all right barbara here we go potato sales let’s do it now i need my carrot farmer who is yet to be named thank you for all the name suggestions by the way i will

Uh name these guys soon i just don’t have the name tags yet thank you thank you look at that 29 emeralds still got some carrots to sell but i need you to restock so here’s what my next plan is for all of these emeralds we have our fletcher

Over here right who sells bows which are very important and arrows we are going to be using all of those bows that we bought to upgrade our fletcher which i have somewhere right here we’re gonna use a bunch of these whoops and some redstone and we’re gonna make some dispensers using that cobble

We collected right dispenser bam can make a whole bunch and then we can also come to our fletcher and grab some arrows which are super great and we can create these sort of areas in the walls where we can shoot out of or at least i hope we can let’s actually

Go on the outside so i would love if under the windows we just had these dispensers right here and they could throw out arrows like we could do that we could do arrows in them but we could also do splash potions of like harming or poison or anything really

And they could be like our little defense areas and i feel like that’d be really cool we could also do them up above so that’s an option like we could have them in the wall or we could have them up here either would be fine i’m actually down with either of those

But like how cool does that look say so you know when we were doing that raid earlier when i was standing up on top of the house you could kind of see that the pillagers were coming right up against the house which makes it hard to shoot

The overhangs are good but on a real life castle you would have these matriculations i’m not sure if that’s how you pronounce it but it allows you to shoot down i get yelled at a lot in minecraft for not building those into my castles but they’re just a little tricky to make

It look good and they’re not that necessary because we can do things like this and with the berry bushes and dispensers to kill the things that are up against the wall in minecraft because it’s minecraft so i think this with a few buttons or maybe even some redstone circuitry eventually so we can

Click something or flip a lever and they all trigger we’ll do that and hopefully an arrow will shoot out okay now i’m not sure okay i see where the arrow went look look the arrow fired all the way to there so if anything was standing against this wall or out here

That would hit i kind of like that i think that’s good now of course the better option for these walls would actually be splash potions but i’m not entirely sure which flash potions we should go with because that’s a little expensive maybe their next build could be like a tavern area

And we could get a whole bunch of potion brewing areas going and that way we can have a really good defense system with potions that’s definitely something to think about anyways everyone i do think that that is going to be all for me today i had so much fun playing minecraft today thank
