LET’S PLAY MINECRAFT SPELLCRAFT! | Ep.1

Today i am playing one of the best minecraft maps i have seen in a very long time the name of the map is spellcraft it was actually made by the same team that made the how to train your dragon map which was my favorite map up until this one this map has tons

Task is to actually pick out a spell so we have to pick between blight fire frost thunder and wind honestly in every single game that i’ve ever played i normally go with the fire move so we’re gonna unlock this but i think eventually we’ll be able to unlock every single

Ability so the fire ability turning hot and fast fire turns creatures to ash with its continuous blaze resulting inferno is intense but short-lived alright guys so now we have our fire ability let’s test that on this dummy okay so i think i just hold it down and

Then i release it oh my gosh wait that’s so sick okay i have never seen anything like this supposedly this map is using a brand new scripting ai that has never been used in a minecraft map before so you’re gonna see some things in this series that you have never seen in any

Minecraft map all right i think that dummies probably had enough so let’s go see if we can use our brand new ability to break through come on yeah look it’s working that is so cool all right so we were able to break through this must be

The main room that is so sick guys check this out honestly this doesn’t even look like minecraft anymore like what like everything is kind of blocky but for the most part this is entirely new stuff all right we’re gonna jump into the center the memorial explore fragmented memories

Called riffs acquire loot enter deeper return to the arch hold grow in power repeat alright guys here we go we’re starting a rift journey and in order to get more rifts we’re gonna need points to upgrade so in order to get points i’m pretty sure we have to get them in the

Rift memories oh this is so cool oh we’re dropping in all right riff depth level one what do we have to do let’s go back here okay so i think this is probably where we came in or maybe this is where we can escape we also have a

Flight ability like this but check this out okay there’s already guys coming after us there’s giant skeletons you’ll get these goliaths out of here in the description of the spellcraft map it’s said that there are over 20 000 different spell combinations 20 000 so we definitely have a tons of different

All right can i maybe break these pots we’re trying to get as many points as possible we have these crack skulls which i’m guessing later on will be able to sell for whatever the currency is that’s how we’re going to be able to buy more spells all right there we go so

We’re collecting sharp fangs and cracked skulls we do need to be worried not to accidentally burn myself that would be bad what are these things yo look at that dude there’s giant spiders down there all right it also looks like that i do have a mana bar so at the bottom of

The screen it looks like i have three mana uses once i get through them i’m not able to use any of my abilities anymore but luckily i could still fly so my xp bar is my flight ability power so i can use that until it runs out and

Then i drop down and break my legs so i gotta be a little bit careful about that let’s take care of all these spiders first and the rats i don’t know if i have a melee ability oh i do okay so i can use my melee ability to punch them

Back but it’s not nearly as effective as my magic abilities back up boy get out of here all right so it seems like the best combo right now especially for these bigger guys like the giant spider is to burn them with flamethrowers and then you can go in and punch them all

Right what do we get we got sticky sacks wormy tails and it says in the description how much they’re worth too so we actually got quite a few different abilities let’s see oh look at that guys there’s a little area that’s telling me exactly where to go all right so it

Wants me to go all the way up here i guess right here oh snap what do we get what was that wait did we just get treasure i actually think we just got a bunch of blue let’s see yeah we did okay we got topaz rubies a sorceress ruby

These things are worth a lot okay that’s worth 100 of the magic points so we could probably sell these back at the arch hold and then we could use that in order to unlock brand new magic spells all right boys we’re gonna head back down here this is honestly a lot of fun

I think that we can probably have this be a potential mini series especially because look at that we’re able to go deeper and deeper into the depths and i’m pretty sure i can return at any point so after this one it might be worthwhile especially if we have like a

A certain amount of time i don’t think i have to defeat everything in a certain amount of time i just have to find the bonus chest so we’ll try that out when we get to the next rift depth but yeah in the time being dude we gotta punch

Everything i wonder if i’m gonna be able to upgrade my health too even the way that my character walks around is so sick you guys check it out there’s like fireballs literally floating right above my hand too that’s so cool oh that’s amazing all right they have been the

Latest magitis what is that oh wait somebody’s actually summoning these things in wait a second there might be some sort of necromancer just like around and about that’s probably not the necromancer let’s go ahead over here i love that there’s secret rooms too almost like call of duty zombies i don’t

Have to buy the rooms i can literally just use my fireball to break through hey boys listen up you’re about to get fireballed to death i honestly think that i chose one of the best abilities as long as i don’t accidentally walk into my fireball ability we are golden

Nice all right down they go i hear something hello at the top of the screen there’s a boss bar so i’m assuming that’s how many guys i have left to kill yeah i think it’s probably just these guys i see a giant spider over there it is kind of a little

Bit unfair that i can just chill up here yeah we got them okay so you only have to kill a certain amount of guys before they all disappear that’s definitely good to know all right we’re gonna go head back over to the start every single time you complete a different layer of

The dungeon you’ll get all these upgrades and we can choose to go deeper or we can go back let’s head back to the arch hold this animation is so cool that is incredible okay so yeah the rift depths are like waves of the dungeon that we’re traveling deeper down into

But let’s see we have to figure out where to sell everything that we just got so we have like crack skulls we have sharp fangs we obviously have all the rubies let’s see the spell altar place your spell inside the central altar and place the ruins of your choice in the

Surrounding pedestals to customize it you can collect ruins from the ruined carver okay that might be over here there it is carve ruins and place them in the spell altar okay i don’t know exactly how to use these maybe we could use them with the different like rubies

And the topaz and sapphires and emeralds that we’re collecting let’s see maybe if i right click here oh wait we can just carve a random ruin we can upgrade it too ten thousand ten thousand dude okay no that is no i don’t wanna do that that’s way too much money and over here

This is where we melt down everything that we got in the rifts uh using the crucible and turn it into essence so if i throw this down oh wait let’s just right click oh we could sell it okay we could sell all of our loot for 1250 there we go oh that’s awesome

The animation on that is sick i can’t believe this is minecraft okay we can upgrade it too that will allow us to sell spell ruins okay we don’t want to do that right now what we have enough money for is honestly to either get a ruin or to get another spell i think

It’s probably worthwhile to get our hands on another spell alright ladies and gentlemen so if we head back outside i think we can unlock another one so we already have fire let’s unlock thunder fire and thunder are a match made in heaven problem is i don’t know exactly

Where to find the thunder you can travel around the map too and there’s random chess oh that’s so sick check it out we just got even more things that we could use to sell wait i could jump all the way over here oh that’s awesome there’s probably even more loot around spawn

Wait wait wait hold on there’s more things to find we can break through here okay wait a second there’s secrets all right let’s head down here and see what secrets we have to uncover hello my name jack just looking for secrets and stuff what wait how deep does that

Go guys we just found the ruins of the entire temple let’s see there’s a book right here unknown magic well huh i pride myself on being someone who always knows exactly what is going on in truth magic has not surprised me in hundreds of years i have studied every facet

Experimented with all five types of magic and invented the most powerful arcane machines on the continent yet i have no idea what is going on i woke up with no memories of my past at first i panicked but the gray books quickly brought me up to speed my memories have

Been safely extracted and stored within the memorial machine i created so that i can explore them at first it appeared that the memorial was working as intended i entered a memory i defeated the monsters and i returned to the arc hold but what happened to the world

While i was gone it appears that nothing and nobody exists beyond the archol i will handle this the same way i always handled new discoveries i will keep entering memories and increasing my power i will write down all of my thoughts and i will figure out what’s

Going on here fortunately i have all the time in the world i guess that’s us so we have no memory of anything that happened and guys that’s why we’re going into the memorial machine there’s obviously a lot more that we have to figure out we can sell our loot for

Around 1400 essence which is awesome that means we could probably get two different spells and then lastly there’s the mastery mirror we can reflect on your progress at the mastery mirror and we can increase our different abilities so we can increase our health our flight our mana our overcharge and our charge

Speed so if i want to increase my health boom 250 bucks we can increase our mana as well and we could also increase the amount of mana that we have all we’re here guys let’s unlock the thunder ability quick as a flash thunder strikes with vicious speed it is difficult to

Use but very effective all right can i rearrange these two yes i can alright guys let’s head back in try to upgrade our memoria let’s head back into the rift boys we need to upgrade our memorial but we need a thousand in order to do that while we’re here let’s test

Out our thunder ability okay i don’t see anything yet something’s coming in over here thunder ability go yo it does so much damage that is sick okay so the fireball is really effective against a giant group of mobs but the thunder is really good against bosses

We’re starting to get the hang of this oh there’s a bunch of rats i can kill the rats in one hit with my thunder ability back up boy there we go looks like somebody’s right behind there let’s wait for it thunderbilly oh gosh crap dude it

Is really difficult to try to hit stuff with the thunder ability especially small stuff like the rats that’s all right you’re gonna get boppy bag oh that’s a lot of skeletons hey pals oh we did it that was easy oh i see a chest back there don’t think i’m gonna leave this

Memory without grabbing that chest thank you very much don’t mind if i do and let’s head back to the start to grab our bonus chest a second okay so oh if we complete the round in a certain amount of time then we get the bonus chest that makes sense

Wow and the bonus chest has a lot that’s amazing okay let’s head down deeper into the rift we’re going for number two we’re gonna get even further this time we have to figure out exactly what happened to me and every single one of these rift is access to another memory oh that’s

That little little guys okay so the little guys they don’t get it really affected by the thunder i can only hit one at a time okay we need to try to beat the wave in as fast as time as possible back up boy okay there’s a

Giant spider down there i should be able to zap him bottom let’s go 50 seconds left all right let’s get the wrath that’s right there oh that’s a lot of big boys hey fellas oh gosh bro let’s keep using our fireball ability let’s whip out a thunder ability got one only

A couple more dude i think the rest of the wave is like right in front of my face don’t attach me don’t even look at me there’s so much fire right in front of my face man yes we got him 20 seconds left okay that one should be dead boom what are you

Doing get out get you out what are you doing there’s a lot of rats right here they’re all coming right to me yes we got it with 18 seconds to spare all right let’s grab our beautiful chest that’s nice and our bonus chest because we are awesome all right guys now we’re

Gonna head even deeper i can honestly upgrade our memoria but i feel like we should at least go to rift depth number three we have never been this deep before if i can get past this that’ll be a brand new record oh i see the chest down there all right we’re gonna grab

This thing definitely this one’s gonna be a little bit difficult to grab that’s a lot of spiders man okay i need to try to zap the big spiders with the thunder ability there’s a lot of these guys there we go one big spider down dude i hate spiders so much i definitely have

Arachnophobia okay there’s another big one right there big juicy spider oh this sounds dude i don’t hate the sounds okay there are green skeletons looks like they’ve been running around in the sewers ugly fire is super effective against them oh what the heck oh dude he had some sort of poison

Ability okay note yourself stay away from them after they die the bonus test is not looking good ladies and gentlemen we only have 15 seconds left to complete the entire wave and we’re not even halfway done wait a second the enemies could have elements i didn’t know about

That okay so we really have to be careful wow that’s another big spider we almost got it come on we should also explore the map because look at that we found another chest and chests are going to be my best friend so that i can get

Every single one of the spells the more spells that i have the more damage that i do and i could also use it to get upgrades holy guacamole that’s a lot of skeletons nobody invited me to the skeleton party and i am a-okay with that

I only have to kill a couple more and then they’ll all drop dead skeletons and do not like fire one bit let’s go dude okay we got them let’s make sure we go get at least the one chest this is a lot of fun guys i don’t know about you but i am

Having an amazing time with this the spells are literally beautiful like one of the most epic things that i’ve seen in any minecraft world ever to exist seriously and i’ve been playing minecraft for over 10 years so it has my blessing by far the team did such an

Familiar okay so it looks like it might reset but that’s probably because we have to unlock more memorials right that’s what i’m spending the thousand essence on okay what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna actually head back to the arch hole all i have to do is just hold

This bad boy down it opens up the portal and i don’t think anybody’s gonna come back with me right can i just escape okay so we reached a rift depth of four which is our highest yet what we’re gonna do is head over there and we’re gonna sell everything that we have so

Then we can use our essence in order to unlock the nest memoria so now we have 3500 uh we can use that in order to go over to the ruins and we can just craft a random ruin see what happens speed one okay so the ruins are like upgrades for

The spells so we’ll grab that uh carve or found ruin okay oh wait okay so we can buy it now let’s carve another random one does that replace it though i i think it probably does okay no no it doesn’t actually replace it so we can

Buy slow we can buy speed let’s get both of them let’s get slow and speed they go right into my inventory okay so we can either make a spell faster or make a spell slower carve one more random one only one that’s actually gonna be super

Effective so we can buy homing for two thousand that’s way too much money okay we’re gonna keep that around uh we’re gonna upgrade that in the future that is going to be super effective so that whenever we need a spell to lock on to anything we’re just going to be able to

Fire it in like the general direction of something and then it’s going to track them down wait a second hold on i actually might have these i might just be able to buy more okay before we test that out let’s go buy another upgrade i honestly think a really good upgrade is

Going to be frost so that we can slow down any of the dungeon creatures let’s unlock that for a thousand oh the animation is just so sick all right we’re gonna move that around i guess we could test it out over here on this guy

Okay sweet so it looks like it covers a giant area and anything that walks through that should get slowed down now what we’re gonna do is head all the way over here see if it costs any money to put any of those upgrades onto our spells let’s right click this uh let’s

Try it with our fire ability right so if i place that down we’re gonna add our speed upgrade right so if i place that there i think it worked okay so we have that speed upgrade and then okay wait what happens if i take it out after that is this how it

Works is it on there now did it work okay we do okay so you guys see that symbol we actually have the speed upgrade so now it’s a little bit faster when i cast it and i honestly think it would be a really good idea to add the homie

Upgrade to our thunder ability so that way it has a better chance of hitting anything that i fired at all right we’re gonna add in our homing upgrade and then if i just take the spell back it should get that upgrade it does dude that is so cool we’re going

To keep these around i’m not entirely sure why i would want to make a spell slower but if you guys have any ideas please let me know in the comment section down below all right guys but for right now we’re going to go back over here right click this and upgrade

Our memoria i don’t know what that does memoria instability what is this destabilizing memoria with essence will increase the starting instability level of the rifts making them more difficult higher instability levels cost more essence okay so we can actually start i think at deeper levels of the rift right

If i were to start at two that cost 196. let’s try it out oh my gosh okay it’s definitely a little bit more shaky this time around down we go boys yup okay so we can start deeper in the rift that is sick all right guys let’s try out our

Frost ability things are spawning in where are they don’t see anything yet oh i see something right there boom let’s do the frost ability all right they’re frozen right now and let’s use our thunder ability yes dude that was so sick all the homing abilities so

Overpowered what else do we got oh i’m freezing myself let’s try to shoot it away over there no it did not reach okay so they do have range to them but dude it’s working okay so the homing ability actually attacks stuff that’s like right next to me so if i wanted something

That’s far away i have to kill everything that’s close by all right let’s try out the frost ability with the fire ability i just need to make sure not to accidentally hit myself because that would be bad we don’t want to be that guy that accidentally kills herself

The thunder ability is easily the most damage that i can do okay stuff is gonna spawn in right there so that’s what those things mean we have a brand new foe okay so those are like elemental thunder things you need to make sure to hit them out of the air before they hit

Me 10 seconds left before i get that bonus chest come on we gotta use the thunderbility come on we’re so close no dude we just missed it oh my god dude i can’t believe it we only need one more kill this should do the trick there we

Stronger and stronger just as i planned in a way it reminds me of my days training to master magic at the academy after we first arrived at the valley and discovered magic we stumbled upon the ruins of a great building it looked like an ancient site of worship and it was

The perfect place for us to set up camp long before we constructed archold the academy was where we lived worked and learned to control magic back then magic was extremely strong it existed in every plant animal and speck of dust since then we used so much mana that nature

Was rung dry this is why i had to find a creative way to keep getting more powerful even after everyone else left to find a place with more magic i stayed to work on my own solution the memorial okay so there’s a bunch of lore to this

So everybody else left and they were trying to figure out how to extract magic from everything in the entire world the plants the animals the trees but they stayed whoever it is that we are we stayed around to try to figure out how to do it creatively using the

Memorial all right well we’re starting to learn more there’s obviously a lot more to this map that we have left to figure out and probably so many more secrets left to uncover probably even unknown spells because there was that book that was the unknown magic but obviously we have the known magic so
