Let’s Play Minecraft Survival : Enchanting Room AIR SHIP! Episode 5

Hey folks whip here and welcome back to the brand new survival world here we are sitting in front of our newly named house well maybe enderbot’s house here this is the cliffhanger thank you everybody so very much for the suggestions in the last episode click that like button if you’re excited for today’s

Episode but we’ve got some chores we gotta start tackling here i want to get a little bit more wheat gathered up over here i’ve been doing a few chores around the world and gathering things up because well my friends i want to build today i really want to build

Today i don’t know what came over me but this morning i woke up and was like i just want to get some building done inside this world last episode we spent a lot of time in the nether which we gotta run back into today because well

We’re gonna need a lot of warped wood for this build as well as a whole lot of wool i’ve been slowly gathering that stuff up there we’ve got over three stacks now at this point in time still not sure if that is enough the cows have been breeding like crazy i

Brought a bunch more wheat with me here hey boys how we doing how are my cow buddies doing what’s going on in here got a lot of living space what good lads all fantastic gentlemen down here i realized this leaf is actually how they are getting out

Oh boy the sheep are regrowing their wall already oh look at all this good stuff of course i got some wheat for you boys as well come on in here get all the wheat oh looks like a cow escaped though just a heads up that the ama did go live

You weren’t able to get any ideas off of what we’ve been doing already gathering up a bunch of wool here or you know probably off of the video thumbnail at this point time you you know what we’re doing today if anybody looked at that thing i want to build an

Airship not only an airship an airship that is going to be storing our enchanting setup first and foremost though i would make the hole out of warped wood this stripped warp log over here loved using the last episode so happy we have one of those bombs next to us

Well maybe not next to us but next to us inside of the nether and i should put these gold boots on last time got a little spicy come here mr gas throw that ball yep oh nailed it also i should mention yes i have diamond

Tools down here we did a live stream a little while ago and managed to get six more diamonds for herself after way too many hours of mining but you know it’s pretty nice to have some more so i grabbed some more tools for ourselves so it isn’t

Just the pickaxe anymore but i want to say goal number one for today’s episode is going to be getting an enchanting setup done and goal number two which is actually gonna be accomplished first yeah weird we’re going backwards today is we need to build a airship to go

Around it i want to have some really colorful things in the air so it doesn’t just look like a floating boat i want to give it an actual reason and case where it looks like an airship so i hope y’all are excited for today’s episode i’m gonna spend a

Little while here in the nether gathering stuff up getting ready click that like button down below i’ll get these resources assembled and we’ll get back up there man i’m so glad i decided to spend some time exploring around the nether i really want to find a crimson forest i

Want to use those things what didn’t get any oh come on now don’t be like that minecraft keep the good vibes going all right there we go there’s a weeping vine i want to use a few of these back at the base to decorate the nether portal out

And i think i want to bring some of these for this airship build as well but i ended up finding a basalt delta here which i’m super excited about for all of the black stone and basalt that we can get that is going to be awesome to have to build with another

Adventures aside over there i want to talk about that tall boy right there behind us ender butt’s cousin the grassy under butt i don’t know anyways i’ve decided to install a data pack that’s going to be effective basically now on the world that stops sender men from picking up blocks

Because oh my gosh they’re doing it so much just look at the well we’re standing on top of a dirt block that that dude probably picked up at some point they’re moving blocks from out of the walls of my house on a rock up here they’re just moving things all over the

Place the train back there is absolutely destroyed with just holes in the ground sand blocks over the place with the amplified trend they are everywhere and it is driving me insane and i can’t do it anymore but i think what i can do folks is i want to get straight into the

Building today i’m so very excited for this airship built it’s going to be looking so good as this is our first large build of this series so far i wanted to go ahead and kick this one off in a good old-fashioned time lapse mode and build up a lovely new airship right here

Before i start geeking out about this build here too much i did have a question for you all on this one i want to know what do you think about building on camera versus doing time lapses like this here i’m gonna try and strike a balance between the two because i like having

Both forms of content but let me know down in the comments below which one you favor but anyways back to geeking out about this build here is oh my gosh do i love warped wood now i absolutely hated the stuff when it first released and i

Thought it was a terrible block and i just never wanted to use it and now that i’ve actually been like you know what i kind of want some blue stained like planks over here just something like that it’s now i think my favorite wood in the entire game absolutely love it to

Bits it is so nice it’s so so cool and we’ve got this giant blimp up here i think the warpwood and the spruce wood works really well together we’ve got a lot of space inside of the blimp i did torch it all up so we shouldn’t have any mobs dropping on top

Of us i do need to carpet that top of it though to stop even more mob spawning up there which would help us out a lot but you can see getting a lot of propellers here in the back and adding some chains hanging down just to add to that flying atmosphere that

We’re going with and this thing looks absolutely fantastic love the design for this can’t wait to have more of them in the skies above our base it’s time for a little bit of a sneak peek looking at the airship up here and oh my lord does it look good oh i had to

Turn the shaders on this one just be able to show it off a little bit more and i am in love with this thing i am so in love with this build all of the warped wood worked so well up here we’ve got a space down here that’ll

Be soon filled with our enchanting table we’ve got spaces for bookshelves all the way around we’re gonna have six on this side four four or two and two and then we’re gonna have another six right there and that’ll get us level 30 within change table sitting right in

There we’ll get to that thing here soon but check this out a little place to store some books for ourselves all the way up here big ol propeller on the back this giant balloon up above i love this little piece of machinery right here where we can have the

Soul fire campfire powering or i guess filling the blimp with everything up there and it looks fantastic i did torch up the whole inside of it so it’s a little bit safer but check it out from down here back to the old viewing sand we go just wow i

Love this i added a lot of chains hanging all over the place and just hanging down because i felt like it added to that mystically steampunky atmosphere of it floating up there and it is just magical looking let me know what y’all think about this thing in the comments below but in the

Meantime it’s uh it’s time to gather some leather i’ve got paper for days over here we need one more obsidian we need a few diamonds and we need a lot of books do i have any wheat sitting around in here we do we can breed up the cows one more time

And then after that it’s gonna be uh slaughtering time i mean very humanely gathering of leather from our cows it’s fine it’s all good i didn’t realize that we are above level 34 now and i believe we need like 48 or 50 leather to do all of

This so we don’t have looting yet so diamond axe it is there are so many oh i’m sorry buddy there are so many cows down here trying to make sure to not hit any of the babies because we want to use them to replenish the herd afterwards

We’re about halfway through all the cows at this point in time we got 26 leather so far it’s gonna be a tight one it’s gonna be very very tight over here i am really really glad we brought the cows up the first time because we might

Have to wait for another round of cattle breeding there goes the last adult and that finishes off with 43. unfortunately that means we do need to jump on out of here and go see if we have some more leather around the base somewhere did any cows escape and are under

Running around this area we got two more leather in here unfortunately we’re at 45 leather and i think we’re going to be just shy on this one here i don’t know 45 bucks though i feel like it’s 48 for some reason that number rings a bell first and foremost though back into the

Game as we go because we’ve got to get one more obsidian at least to be able to make this bookshelf or i guess enchanting table the bookshelves thankfully do not require obsidian but the enchanting table does here we are back in the ravine and a lot of people

Told me that i might have actually left some iron smelting at that furnace down around the corner i thought i collected them but a lot of people said i left it behind i don’t have a water bucket on me so we will have to be careful there’s a skeleton shooting at me

It’s fine is there a furnace around this corner no we definitely grabbed it okay good i was going crazy man like i left that much iron sitting on the floor down here we have the skeleton the ancient keeper of the obsidian into the lava with you

Into the lava or just died before that’s fine and there we go and here we go we’ve got some skate cooking up over there because we’ve got so much of it but bam we’ve got ourselves an enchanting table and i should have a lot of spruce wood here yeah spruce wood

Logs like crazy and that’ll lead to 14 bookshelves do we really just need like four more books four more leather to be able to make this happen one thing i really should do here is i had just a trapdoor to walk across because right now we got to jump

That every time we come on over but heading down here we’ve got the enchanting table in place let’s get our bookshelves on the walls they’re supposed to be sitting behind the trap doors right in here so it has a little bit of shine through that window

Bam bam bam bam bam bam we got four left for ourselves what level does this give us 28 do we only need one more do we only need two one more book oh please that would be amazing oh my gosh there’s a cow sitting down here i thought i heard some mooing

And i was just like maybe it’s not the babies i feel like i’m pretty far away from them please please all we need right now buddy boy is uh we need oh do we just need one leather off of you come on come on no just ah bummer all

Right well we’re on the waiting game now i’m pretty sure you can still do this i might be misremembering but i think we can take a lot of the wheat and just force feed it to the cows and that should make them grow more quickly

We can do it one cow at a time until they’re fully grown and then hopefully one will drop a leather i think that’s how that works all right who wants to be my best friend you look like you do oh they’re all yeah well they are enjoying the wheat

They’re really enjoying the weed over here this might be speeding up a few of them at least it’s like a fountain of cows on top of this leaf bush look at them go well i ran out of wheat hopefully that helps speed them up i’m just going to

Sit here and watch these for a little bit oh there we go we’ve got two grown-up cows hopefully one of them is going to have a piece of leather please buddy please you yes we got it oh finally we can finish the enchanting table crafting uh one more book for ourselves and there

Goes one more bookshelf and i did over here add in the little jungle trap door so we have a way to walk across coming on down here we’ve got this ready to go what are we looking at diamond pickaxe level 30 enchantment we’ve got efficiency for efficiency to our unbreaking one

What do we got here efficiency blah blah blah and diamond axes efficiency force well you know those are pretty good across the board let’s enchant the pick not really sure what else i’m going to be using lapis for at this time so we just can bring all of it over here

And leave it down in the chanting room i’ve decided to bring this guy over an extra barrel to fill in that last spot we could just put all this down here we’ve got grindstones up above as we need them to get rid of enchants and i probably need that lapis on me

What do we get efficiency for going through a chant enchanter advancement get we’ve got oh efficiency for unbreaking three that is a absolutely fantastic first enchant fortune would have been nice but i’ll take that one that’s pretty good for us unfortunately we just have two diamonds

Left to our name over here but i gathered up a little bit of iron and some sticks that we’re gonna be using to craft some iron pickaxes if we get fortune 3 on an iron pickaxe we can still use that to harvest diamonds for ourselves then

We can use this big old working pick we got over here to do the rest of the block breaking for us we only have the ability to do one full level 30 enchant right now but i think if we grab the lapis we can check this thing out do a little scope

In here efficiency for efficiencies and braking and we can take that one i don’t think the efficiency 4 is going to do it so we’ll take this guy here efficiency and unbreaking then we got efficiency for fortune two though i will take that to get ourselves started so that’s actually a pretty

Decent pick we can have level two of everything now obviously for this one it’s not the best of the best it’s not the fortune three that i was really hoping to find but it’s something to get ourselves started i think what we can do here because that’s going to guarantee at least more

Than one diamond off of every vein i believe i could be wrong on that one but that’ll at least be able to get us something more than what we have because so far the diamond supplies have been a little rough i want to see if we can

Jump down into the mines get down to that y level 12 area and just do a little bit of mining i thought i saw some green and why did i pause and look back i should have just kept walking oh i ruined the floating sand

No it is the next day at this point time so if i got a little bit of morning voice going on that is why but i think my brain is still waking up because i saw the green flash off to the right there while we were running by that creeper

And then my brain was like wait what is that we need to pause we need to stay and just think for a moment before we keep moving forwards and that was not the right move to make oh here’s a dark spooky cave though this will be a good start for us we

Haven’t been down this way quite yet so there’s a lot of loot that we could potentially find i don’t know how deep this section goes and i’m hoping it’ll go all the way well not quite all the way ends right down here at y level 15.

Close enough for me we can dig down the rest of the way we haven’t been digging around this area quite at all and that’s why i didn’t bring a water bucket on me oopsies that was a false floor in this thing if you dug straight down you’d been right

In lava rule number one in minecraft don’t dig straight down our first little bits of fortunable goods over here with some redstone we’re gonna need a lot of that stuff here soon i’ve got a great idea for a new farming area that we can use some redstone to make it look super mechanical

But i’ve done a lot of caving and mining and things like that just all over this place it’s been really fun it’s been really nice to do but i’m in the mood to do a little bit of strip mining sometimes this is the most relaxing thing to do inside the game

Just breaking blocks hoping you can find some diamonds on the far side of them or in this case some coal we’re just a few thousand years too early that’s just a little science joke there for you okay i’ll keep mining and we got some gold right into lava ooh there’s a cave over

Here though with lots of stuff something was standing right there too that redstone’s activated ooh diamonds oh my gosh i didn’t even look at those i’m so concerned getting rid of the lava this is a really good cave down here holy cow we got lapis we got gold on the

Floor we got redstone and we’ve got at least four diamonds over here all right how many is this just just four just just four that’s fine though four is good four’s a good number wait what is that hello there how how how rare is that four here and four there what we’re up

To five diamonds off of four okay uh not the best find but how many over here oh we’ve is this an eight block all right what do we got what do we got what do we got 18 diamonds that’s more than we have ever had oh i love this you know though this

Strip mine’s going pretty well so far went for a relaxing morning of just doing a little strip mining action inside the inside the survival world here and uh it’s been good it’s been good oh no we are on fire that’s not good patching up all the lava

Just in case just in case and we’re gonna sit in the corner and try and eat our baked potatoes lava fire please go out just a man trying to get his redstone out of the floor look at me trying to get smarter and more technical and stuff and then the

Lava’s just here to burn me oh we’ve got another cave over here it looks like a very big cave too lots of lava down at this point and let’s go ahead and put some torches on the ground there pointing towards our tunnel so that we can know

And what do we got in here lots and lots of lava some more gold down there dark scary place up there not seeing any monsters but we should probably be pretty careful of that they can’t get to us this way they’ll burn in the lava so let’s head on up here we

Don’t have to worry about anything coming behind us there are no lava monsters in this game but there is a creeper and crit oh so good way too high for diamond level up here so i’m not even gonna bother torching up the rest of it we’ve got a lot of extra

Resources there’s a lot of iron here though there is a lot of iron all right let’s gather that and there’s another creeper i see i told you just don’t want to keep going up this way you know i think to date this is probably the most successful

Early game 20 minute mining session i have ever done and probably ever will do so i’m gonna gather up this little bit of redstone and the gold and hopefully i didn’t just jinx myself majorly there and uh we’re headed home soon we will be building an actual

Mining entrance that we can use with like a drop shoot to quickly get up and down to diamond levels and all that good stuff but right now i kind of enjoy early game just using a mine shaft that we found or a cave system that ticks all the way down

I know i get lost lawson all the time but it’s quite fun just having to run through the caves a bunch there is a creeper the final boss before we can get out of this place where is he at hi buddy you gonna stay down there how

About you do just stay down there oh he’s still alive oh i like we’re up to level 30 again that’s absolutely awesome we’ll actually keep that lapis honest let’s melt all this gold down what am i leaving it in there for and we’ve got another stack of iron ore

Ready to be smelted in 20 diamonds to our name which i think we can afford three of them right here to get ourselves another enchanted diamond pickaxe and a very important thing to bring over with us is going to be an anvil so that we can probably combine these iron tools afterwards

Anvil can go right there smack dab in the middle i think that actually looks quite nice we could bring another one in right there and there it’ll almost feel like a little bit of a railing for us but coming down here we’ve got a lot of lapis right here for

Us and what are we looking at diamond pickaxe unbreaking three unbreaking blah blah blah blah so what do we get with it efficiency four and breaking threes we got two of those now i’m gonna go ahead and re-roll this one because i don’t want an extra one we

Only need one work pick right now i know we don’t have up to level 30 again but that did give us some experience back what would it give us next time the same it looks like we were getting efficiency for regardless maybe that is a super one but we’re gonna need

To go get some level the iron pick i think i’m just gonna leave i don’t wanna waste the eight levels on it when we’re trying to get fortune or silk touch on the big diamond pickaxe here i am so very happy that we built up the skeleton spawner and got this thing set

Up so it’s more or less automated and we only just need to do one hit on them so we can just leave it right in there close the door wait for some skeletons to pile in and then hopefully we get a lot of experience very quickly

Well it seems like we got a good amount of friends in here so let’s see can we one shot all of them please close oh there we go come on in experience oh much better all right one level to go go just afk for another minute

One more skeleton and there we go back up to level 30. all right minecraft gods what have you got for me over here wait wait wait there’s something that we need to do first i’m not sure if this luck carries from series to series but we have to bring

The large foreign with us for those who don’t know inside of my hardcore world we had a lot of problems getting enchantments until we brought in a large fern and set it up right next to the enchanting table inside of an item frame then we literally on the next enchantment

We got fortune three and then also at one point in time joel came over and stole the magic foreign because we were playing in a multiplayer world to get ourselves started and he got fortune three on the very first one as well what are we looking at here efficiency for

No it doesn’t work here it’s it’s ripped into just the hardcore world once we lost that world we lost the powers of the magic foreign as well all right this time i queued up by the skeleton spawner for a good amount of time here and we’ve got two enchants unbreaking three going

Throughout we’ve got that one this silk touch i cannot get rid of that pickaxe that is a very good one silk touch is the way to go unrolling the bad iron pickaxe we’ll see if this will get fortune 3 on the table at least efficiency 4 unbreaking blah blah blah

As far as i know pickaxes regardless of what type they are share the same enchanting table so maybe we can go get a new one with the diamond pick with making another diamond pick but first we must eat eating the iron pickaxe goodbye last enchant for the day what are we

Gonna get your efficiency for playing out bummer all right well we’ve got silk touch we’ve got fortune two that’s at least something to get ourselves started which means we could actually get an ender chest which would be cool to carry around with us because that’ll give us a lot more

Storage speaking of that though there’s one thing that i want to cover here today for the rest of this episode is i’ve been looking at a bunch of the goals you all have sent me and as well as think about a few rules that we can

Add to this world to make things a little bit more interesting than we’ve done in the past there’s a skeleton right there behind me he’s just chilling first and foremost on this we’re gonna need a lot of signs here to get ourselves through all this i’m thinking

Let’s go with 30. 30 should be good it’s weird that you craft them in threes then they can stack to 16 so you can’t actually craft a full stack i guess that also happens with slabs and things too get in here yes silk touch pickaxe we’re just gathering the

Straight stone here gonna carve this out and make a little bit of a hole for us so we can put some signs on a wall over the last few episodes i’ve asked you all to leave comments down below with ideas for goals and ideas for

Rules i’ve got a few rules of my own that i want to start adding in here that i think will be really fun one being no sleeping bags which means i cannot carry a bed around in my inventory which as soon as it turns to night time we sleep that’s not allowed i

Want to be able to experience the night time so we have to build a house or something or a cave home or whatever it might be where we can store a bed inside of like we have in there this is a big one for me no everything

Tree farms so i can’t create an area where i put every single different type of sapling ever known to minecraft and just have all the trees there every single biome that we need to gather trees in whether it’s the oak trees the jungle trees the birch trees

The dark oak trees whatever it is there’s an island in this ocean that has those on them for the acacia as well and well why not create an outpost on every single one of those islands so if we need a type of tree we can go get them there

That also feeds into one of the goals of creating resource outposts throughout the world so when we start wanting to get terra cotta and stuff from the mesa we can create a little outpost in the mesa and show somehow that it’s being shipped from here to the mesa and back and all

That stuff with like airships or boats i think be really cool to do that create some like shipping channels and just stuff all over the world to make it feel like people are living in here there’s a civilization going on added up a few more off of a lot of

Suggestions from you also we’ve got we’ve got pets over here we’ve got redstone farms that add life to the build we can’t just build a giant cobblestone box around the redstone thing it has to show off to the world uh we’re gonna do a lot of custom trees

Around the place we’re gonna go advancement huntings a lot of people want to see me do every single advancement which would be kind of cool lots of bridges all over the place i thought i just heard a creeper uh having a bunch of height in our building so it goes really high

Into the sky all the way up the rock faces and then in tears with an asterisk i’m still looking for more ideas on both of these here the rules we’ll add to as we go i don’t want to have rules like no enchanted diamond tools or no villager training i don’t have rules

That are going to detriment the gameplay or detriment the progress of the series more just fun things that’ll add flavor and life to the series to make it fun so let me know things on that there and let me know things on the goals board here as well but folks that’s gonna have
