Living inside the Minecraft Trailer – Bare Bones

So i made this video and a lot of you replied with this and so now i’m making this today we start a brand new mini series with the goal of living out the fantasy of being inside the minecraft trailer and recreating some of its most iconic moments and what’s more iconic than this As you can probably tell aesthetically the game looks a little bit different but i assure you under the hood it is still completely vanilla minecraft i’ve only just tweaked it cosmetically and that’s thanks to the amazing modding community this wouldn’t be possible without them so to all you motors out

There thank you so much i’ll have a list to all the mods i’m using down in the description if you want to check them out but even with all of that i still can’t build a good starter house so let’s check out my dirt box oh there is it there’s the sun

It’s raining why is it raining That is a perfect home for the first night i need food really bad can i cook this with doors i can that’s that’s amazing i love minecraft i’m cooking food with a door of course it makes perfect sense first meal of the series delicious and so after that tasty lamb

Chop i settled in for my first night in the mines which was pretty good actually i found some coal and decided to make some torches to light up the area a little bit but after that i headed back down hoping to find some good stuff and

Then my pick broke and i realized i’m all out of wood uh i guess time to go back up make another one i can’t make another one i don’t have any sticks hold up we’re going back down we’re going right back down wooden pick come on i can still mine with this right

Can i mine copper with a wooden pickaxe oh is this gonna break my heart is this gonna break no my heart it’s broken with my heart in absolute pieces i realized it was time i had to go and get some more wood but that meant going outside on this gloomy

Rainy night and sure enough i had someone to greet me at the front door but i overcame that and i managed to get the wood under the watchful eye of many mini mini spiders that’s it let’s go quick back to the house all right copper time to get mined i can

Mine it now thank goodness all right i’m gonna have the shiniest roof in all the land you just watch i love it look it looks so shiny looks so shiny i love it i’m getting desperately hungry and all i have is rotten flesh yuck Hey it stopped raining yes you know what you know what like give me give me some dirt high mountain that looks really cool i think this is a high enough point to put up a little bit of a pillar the iconic pillar of hope i mean i’m pretty

Sure everyone has built at least one of these in their time playing minecraft and sure enough this would act as a navigation beacon for me as i went around and explored the area further right two of you can live i’ll let you live you’re up here time to

Go bye-bye i’m enjoying the sunset even more knowing that i’m gonna sleep through the night tonight time to make a bed i’ve got two wool let me get one more perfect amount but i got no wood oh all i need is one we can’t leave floating trees though so

Into my narrow mine shaft no i realized i was kind of betraying the cave update so we went down into the caves i fought some random slime gonna have to remember that one for later found some iron look how shiny that is and with that made

Some new tools oh yeah and so with all that done i took a step back and i realized this world has only just begun i’ve got so much to do look at you handsome lads let’s go Get in there go go go from the top of the pillar i saw a village over here so i’m gonna go check it out Look at all these friends hey everyone you guys look so funny if you knew how funny you looked you wouldn’t be smiling like that hey are you okay you look very stuck over there do you need a hand i’ll help you out look here we go put some dirt right here

Is that better hey come on it’s okay you can go now it’s okay you can go there you go i pretty much gotten away with looting an entire village and you know i felt pretty good about myself i just saved the life but this village was not

Done with me no sadly things were about to take a turn for the worse oh oh no guys what are you doing watch out don’t get stuck in there why this is crazy what no no no no i gotta save them guys get out of there quick no

Why are you in there of all the places you could go no get out no not the villager why you keep going in there why are you going in there this is so crazy to me guys oh no you’re going back villages this is come on everyone get out of there right let’s

Start normal games get out of there oh no it died oh no quick no villager quick get out no you’re going the wrong way now i’m freezing oh my goodness this is ridiculous get out of there get out of there right now no yeah so this village was definitely not

Villagers safe so before i left i covered up what death traps i could see and helped out where i could but on my way back over the mountain i found a couple mountain goats just you know chilling and i had a couple spare leads on me so i thought you know why

Not and while the animal collection was growing i thought you know get some sheep as well and while we’re at it i guess why don’t we just throw a couple cows in there just for good measure one for you one for you one for you and one

For you and why not one for you two so we’re off to a start you know i wouldn’t say a good start in light of what just happened but you know things things are happening we’re started i should totally build like a diving platform that would

Be so sweet the area i spawned in has this really cool river surrounded by cliffs right next to it and so i decided to grab a boat jump down and explore a little bit [Applause] there’s bees hey look at you look at you oh that is adorable

Why are you splashing in the water huh this is like a whole flower forest insanity i need to find sugarcane where does this go whoa yo this one’s huge Oh sugarcane almost missed it i wasn’t wasn’t paying attention let’s take all of that all right well that is the most beautiful thing i’ve ever seen a little waterfall is this near the village maybe i can go stay the night at the village dude that is

Oh my pillow my pillar of hope okay i’m heading home but when i got home i had quite the surprise waiting for me uh excuse me what do you guys want yo okay i gotta hold dear oh dear i’m prepared for this where is it there is

You guys came to the wrong house all right yeah that’s right oh watch out okay is this a hosted situation oh goodness me you guys stay back stay back stay back oh my goodness these guys are gonna kill me stop don’t you dare touch my animals

He just shut my sheep how dare you watch out buddy yeah buddy you go hide down there you go hide down there he’s fighting that llama i’m gonna sneak up from behind dang it they shot my cow come on mate get in there there you go uh excuse me what are you doing

Out out out right now out out and stay out yeah that’s right walk away walk away at this point i think i’d finally outgrown my dirt hide i think it was time to move on spray my wings a bit and i had a bit of a plan you know i wanted the shiniest

Roof in all the land so of course i needed a lot of copper and that copper needed to be smelted so of course i had to go and get a bunch of coal as well and the final thing on my shopping list was a whole bunch of oak logs

So now with all that stuff gathered up it was time to get started but before i could do any building i had to do a little bit of prep work you know just get the terrain flattened out just a little bit for the build itself i went

For a classic farmhouse design you know something that was solid and reliable but also looks cool and very functional i wanted something that would tie me over something that did everything that i needed it to at least for the next little bit i think this pillar has

Served its purpose i think it’s time to finally get rid of it unfortunately it’s raining but i think we can still do a little bit of a house tour so i just saw a creeper go into my house is it still in here ah well apparently not it is it’s still in here

Oh my goodness for some reason this creeper has been hiding in my house those are the two arrows that i had get this one i’ve got one shot this it wasn’t enough it was not enough come on i next oh my goodness anyway let’s get in out

Of the rain so here’s my house very empty inside but that’s okay we’re gonna move in here soon you know i’ve got a hearty fireplace here it’s gonna be nice and warm a few little nooks in here and then obviously there’s a an upper level here gotta put in a staircase because at

The moment there’s no way up and apparently there’s a spider trapped up here but all that rain was not enough to put a damper on my mood no i was stoked i was loving my new place and after my first night sleeping in the new house i

Got to enjoy my first ever sunrise from my front door that i’ll be seeing every time i wake up in that house and it was just beautiful there are so many more adventures to be had in this world but that’s all the time i have for this video thank you so
