Hey folks it’s mad rabbit back in medieval minecraft creations and we’re continuing with the mage thingy area type thing and if you are dark unclear what this all is I was just watching the past two episodes because I did those two other buildings you’re looking at Across the across the web so today as you see here we’re building a series of buildings in one area several towers and some larger some larger ones these are mainly for what I want to be calling one one’s going to be sort of like for an Alchemy lab and one’s going to be sort of for the library I’m also thinking of probably including some portals and things like that in here more for like functional use portals like those other ones we were kind of using for decoration so I’m thinking of you know I’ll eventually put the end portal in the regular nether portal and maybe even though make one for the aether when all these mod things come out with one of the new patch is all I should be able to probably put the aether mod at back in Here pretty easily you know as long as you’re able to use creative motivate the aether that would be you need to kind of build with some of those blocks I think so that’s something maybe I’ll do in the future but it’s again I haven’t even touched another and this will never even Gone to it so it’s I do plan probably doing some building projects in those places just for the heck of it but the starting off point for those places will be this this build to see here you know I’m just kind of showing you the walls Before I put them up and basically i stop at different points here and i use the editor to raise the walls so it actually they didn’t take quite as long i may still taking quoted still this is going to be a long project that’s why you’re only seeing this is really the First half what you’re going to see you today and it’s a short episode i’m sorry for being a short episode but it’s just it’s a lot of work guys it’s um it’s it’s so much raining I had to take a break from this so and I Wanted to give you something and I knew if I just kept and held on to all this footage to what the episode probably be too long so I decided just let’s just show you guys this thing more in steps might be better that way now there are Some design flaws here and I am going to fix them as far as these towers go towers are way too close to each other and to the building some what I’m thinking of doing is these two towers here that are kind of like in front of It they’re going to be moved further out from it you know each one and further out from each other also but I think I might keep going up a little bit more with this building because I pretty much end up right about the height that you see there for those two side buildings And those are like you know the functional parts of the building and you see I change these front towers start using some of the white in the blue lapis but then I end up changing the stone also and i get rid of the Obsidian you’ll see that in manator but overall I’m disappointed with with these projects I don’t think they’re really quite as exotic looking as I had hoped I wanted to have like a real feel for these buildings not looking quite the same as everything else in this castle compound and to me right now everything Still does look the same just sort of one going back and trying to use some of these block textures and I made up just because I think I’d almost rather have a black and white or black and lapis look to it maybe or something i’m still determining what the ultimate color is So you have that walkway right there i just made i’m going to remake it what more well designed it right now i just put them there temporarily show just to remind myself to do it but um yeah that i will be changing that so here you’re One last look at the outside front yeah all this will be pulled pulled further apart and maybe those side towers will be also moved i was thinking i’m actually attaching them to the buildings and maybe using them as a stairway rather than that that what you’ll see here in a Second is inside this tall structure put a ladder system and i’m not quite sure I like the ladder system in here no I’m not sure I like the idea of it but you still gotta get up here somehow so I’m not quite sure what I’ll do in here I Had some of these floating things he’s floating light things which basically yeah I stole that idea from flare UK I’ll just say it right now because they had this really incredible building their own mage tower thing and it’s just the whole idea of that those things floating around it’s kind of a neat Thing and the kid he decided to join me that same glitch and I did decide that I finally did serve some may something kind of neat which is the walkway going over here I kind of had a little segments the game and the cat drop so I Freaked out he live don’t worry about dumb yeah we’re near the end of footage so thanks you know take you guys for watching and I’m sorry this one kind of got cut short and abrupt but there will be more to this particular build real soon I promise I’m going to keep going On this so catch you next time at errata setting off adios Video Medieval Minecraft is a show created by Madd Rabbit on his YouTube Channel that showcases tutorials and touring builds of medieval fantasy related themed buildings in Minecraft in creative mode for the purpose of inspiring others to build and create their own towns, cities and castles. Season 1 was focused on the world called Bluestone (related to the world seed name) and had a large build of Castle Bluestone, a Dwarf Cavern system (inspired by Moria), huge elven tree forest area and other smaller villages and farms. It was Madd Rabbit’s first attempt to create a kingdom in Minecraft. He used the default texture pack and altered some of the unused blocks to give a larger palete to create with. Bluestone was too small, for all it’s size and effort, so Madd Rabbit continued the show into season 2 where he went to build an entire world, many kingdoms and biomes large, based on an old map he created from his younger years (Dungeons and Dragons inspired world). The world is called Esper. Season 2 saw several maps and a new texture pack before finally settling on a system of building it as large as he had first envisioned. Some of the castles and towers from season 1 will see re-use in this land as well as new structures. The world is made piece by piece using a combination of square world generated in World Painter then grafted into the main world (cut and paste) using MCEdit. This is a slow process and a huge amount of land to decorate and create content for. Roads and walls will connect all the cities and villages to each other. Hopefully the future will have more RPG elements we can add to the game world (shops, NPC’s, and larger variety of monsters and humanoids). This world is mod free and will remain that way. Season 3 is starting over again with a new world not as large or complex as Season 2 but with the same elements using many of the builds from season 1-2.
