Oh welcome to another minecraft tutorial in this tutorial I will show you how to build this ship it’s a design for a kind of trade ship as you can see it has two masts different to my other ship tutorial which uses one mast and it’s a Totally new design so yeah I hope you have fun and it will be in small steps so everybody will be able to follow so what you want to start with is to build a nine-block long plank row exactly at the sea level put it directly into the Water then a block diagonal to the side a row of two blocks and then each diagonal three single plank blocks to the other side now let’s go back to diagonal plank blocks then once again the row of two blocks and then it’s once again the row of nine blocks so now for The front of the ship you want to make one row of three blocks two rows of each one block a row of two blocks and to the other side again those two single blocks and this one row of three blocks now let’s build the next layer this will be On the water what you want to do for that is to take once again planks and place three single planks in front here then two planks beneath this row of three blocks up here and then you want to just continue building this row up until you hit this first row up there Same thing on this side those two on the beneath this row and then just continue building this up until this point then you want to make one block to the inside and two more blocks here and then once again diagonal those blocks back here the next layer under water will almost Eat our last layer what you want to do for that is to once again go one block more to the inside then make a row of three blocks behind that one row of five blocks and then continue the both of the outer two rows up until you hit this end Same thing on this side you can leave the middle line free then three blocks to this side and this one block more to the front back to the back and now this last row down here to fix up this hole so for this first layer Above the sea level you want to make it so that this row sticks out one block more to the front then the previous row did back here two blocks more in the previous row and then it’s once again two diagonal blocks one row of three blocks on this side once again those two Blocks this row one block more to the front in the previous row two blocks up here another row of two blocks here another two block row here same thing on these sides and then just a single block so this is almost the last layer so what you want To do for that is to place three planks and to times up here a row three points here another row of two plants there and a single plank in the front then once again those two planks a row of three planks those two and those three here Then you want to leave four bucks free at this place and then continue this row until it sticks one block more to the back then the previous row like that then those two blocks here and then this last row of three blocks sticking one block more to the outside than the Previous row did well this next layer you want to make it so that this row is put one block more to the inside four blocks long and then back here a row of five blocks same thing here four blocks like this one block put to the inside And from here two blocks like that two more to the inside same thing here so this rows four blocks one block here and then three blocks here and one to connect those now to bring in some detail and to make the whole ship look a little more interesting and less plain What you want to do is to take logs and replace those rows up here so the basically the middle row of those four blocks and these six blocks up here with logs same thing goes for the Front’s of these three rows then this upper row of these four blocks here This spot here and this upper row here same thing of course on this side and as I said this is just to make the whole thing look a little bit more interesting and to avoid using the same material all over the ship back here what you want to Do is to place one block in the middle and then make a log row of five blocks up here and then four blocks up here like that and now what you want to do is to replace those blocks in the middle row here and this last one down here and then You’re done with the general shape so for preparing the deck and the captain’s Lodge what you want to do is to take a log and take the second block in this row go one block down and leave one block free and then make a row a pillar Of two blocks high here and then make this kind of diagonal stair up there like this and here you want to take the last block in this lower row and take the middle of that this will be the first mast and here this is going to be The second mast right in the middle of those of this three block row so what you want to do then is to fill out the deck for that I’m using the half slabs of course you could also use like planks or top slabs I’ll leave it up to you but I prefer the slabs so one neat thing you can do is to take stairs and kind of reinforce those places where the masts are going to be back here I’m just going to do it on three sides otherwise you would not be able to enter the captain’s Lodge the Same thing I’m going to do on these sides simply to make it look to make the whole ship look a little bit more stable and more dynamic same thing here in front of here I’m just going to make like a small stair so that you are able to get up like that So for building the captain’s lodge what you want to do is first of all to fill in the walls for that take planks and place for planks here then you want to take stairs and place them on top of the logs here and a slab on top of the last One then you want to take planks again and place two planks behind this lower stairs then take logs and place two logs on top of this roof thanks that then you would make the roof for the captain’s Lodge or what would be the floor for the place where you steer the ship from First of all I’m going to make a stair up there so simply four stairs starting at the same row where the first log is and ending at this last log I’m just going to fix those holes in here and for making the ceiling what you can do is to Use either planks for this last row I would recommend it and another thing you can do is to use the top slabs which will be yeah I recommend it because it will make the captain’s large look bigger and since size matters it’s a good thing To do and what you want to do next is to take fences place six of them on top of this lower log row four of them on top of this upper row four back here and one up here then two in this corner back here you want to make two rows of Them that another one in this corner those four up here the six fences down there for here the one here and then connect them up here and now for building the mast what you want to do is to take logs and go 13 blocks up here and the second-last is Going to be 16 blocks high please don’t get confused the first mass I just built is as of yet it’s 12 blocks high I’m going to correct that later on in the video what you want to do then is to take slabs leave three blocks free down here The fourth one make this kind of u-shape around the mast and then add seven slabs to each side up here you want to leave five blocks free and at the sixth block from the top you want to place and another u-shape around this mast and then add 6 slabs to each side And what you will do then is to take fences to make flag posts up here for building the sails I’m always using light gray wool to make the outlines of the sail and then white rule to fill in the rest so as you can see he has a row Of five blocks then one block higher a row of four blocks and then in the front here I’m just making a diagonal line up until I hit the mast then what you want to do is to take the white wall to fill in the rest of the sale Except for those three blocks here to make the sale just look a little bit more in motion and as you saw I just put up this last block I mentioned the beginning so for the sale I’m going to make a folded sale not a raised sale if You want to have a design for for a raised sale please just take a look at the last ship tutorial I don’t think I should show you this I think it’s better to show you another design for that maybe that’s just no wind at the moment so the sails are folded So now for its kind of outlook on top of the mast what I’m going to do is I’m going to make this a fairly small outlook I have other designs for it using stairs and using fences and stuff but they don’t look good on this small Kind of ship so up here I’m just going to add a steering wheel once again I have quite a few designs for a steering wheel this one is by far the simplest so it’s just a plank with what the trapdoor in front of it I have better designs but They are just too big to use them on such a small ship this slab in front of it is just to be sure that you are able to look past it when you are standing in front so again I have few designs for that but they are just too big to use it On such a small shape one more thing I want to do is to take upside down stairs simply to get rid of this plain edgy plank look so at these places where I have two planks in a row and I was replacing the first one top Slab and as well then we’ll just replace the outer blocks of the of the rows with stairs down here I’m going to once again use the upside down the the top slabs I won’t do too much underwater because you probably know what it looks like if you Put like a slab or a stair into the water where the water is running on the side where there’s a book it should should be supposed to flow into the stair but it can’t because it’s a solid block basically I hope you know what I mean if you don’t know what I mean Please just put a stair in the water and don’t know why me know what I’m saying anyways so basically the same thing on the other side I’m just going to change this on the other side as well if you’re doing this at one of your ships you have to Experiment a little bit so sometimes it looks better when you’re using the top slaps sometimes it looks better using the upside down stairs and then it totally depends on which direction you let the top are the upside down stairs face you have to try to print things out And eventually it will look good that should be enough affront now here at the back just going to use more upset downstairs some top slaps here kind of stabilize this and on this side I’m going to let them face in another direction as you can see there are with each upside down Stare there is a gap occurring and the more gaps there are basically the less place you have inside for use so always calculate that within let’s just replace those last odd ones out here this was well and let’s just go inside to fix up the Holes the easiest way to do that is to take slabs that way you won’t need all right yeah the fixing doesn’t need too many slots too many blocks inside to have a little bit more space left and one last thing those two down here there oh no I hate rain Well but I think that’s okay since I spent half of this tutorial in the water I’m probably quite wet okay and now let’s just go to the inside of the captain’s Lobby first of all continue building the floor with slabs and then for the captain’s Lobby I want to have like not a slab floor but a plank floor make split up which makes placing like an interior a lot easier and what I like to do is to place a crafting tables and we could because it kind of looks like a map on Top of it for the captain to navigate and stuff those corners there’s those are perfect for chests and unfortunately now due to the use of the upside down stairs I can’t role plays it bad there so what I have to do is to move the crafting Table and back here I’m just going to put up some bookshelves and basically that should be enough now let’s just make ourselves away into the ship let’s make a little staircase down here like that and one thing I always like to do is to continue building the mast Until they hit the floor the very for simply to make it look a little bit more realistic okay I’m just going to reinforce this stair that and now one thing I like to do since it’s a trading ship I’m just putting up a pile of Parana material very good for these for This job is stone brick cobble and cobblestone and wood but since the ship is made out of wood it would look too too boring so I’m just putting up a pile up here so basically this ship could be on its way to a construction site far Off another country or on an island or whatever and those stones are desperately needed for continuing the works and why I prefer stone bricks and cobblestone is simply because you can make the pile look a little more highly you’re due to the use of stairs and half slabs Okay the interior the inside of the ship is going to be fairly simple so basically everything I’m doing is to put up some beds for sailors and some chests for the sailors stuff and of course for the trade goods of course you could as well put in some some piles down here as Well of cobblestone or stone bricks or whatever material you like mmm but I think this is a good use of the space here and if you don’t have any use for this this last row which is down here then you can simply fill in some planks Because this will make the ship on the inside look a lot bigger even though it’s not well and then that’s pretty much it well as always I hope this tutorial was helpful for you guys I hope it wasn’t too fast and that you were able to Follow it and if you want to see this other design for a raised sale then please click on this annotation here and it will take you to the video where I showed people how to build it and yeah what else to say but please rate comment subscribe do as you will and hopefully We’ll see you next time bye bye Video Information
