Mage Quest Ep: 1 (modded minecraft live stream)

Called mage quest and it adds a ton of mods that focus purely on magic and i never focus on that when i play mod packs so i know nothing about any of these mods so it’ll be very very interesting to see how badly i fail anyhow you may have noticed the school lacks

Walls and the teachers are not exactly present in bodily form wait are they just like floating around we find new students often have unfortunate accidents so we prefer to teach from a safe distance don’t worry we oh okay scroll down we have provided book and quest system let’s have a short lesson

Okay crafting task what is this so the first oh i already did the wood planks so i finished that quest and then consume actually hand in an item first retrieve the item requested then hit manual submit okay so i’m gonna teleport my wood to the teacher

Oh no i gotta get some one piece of dirt to teleport yeah i will definitely try val helsia too i will definitely do that because i haven’t experimented too much with mod packs i’ve done sky factory and i think i did a little crazy craft 3 but my laptop could not handle that

Like when i got to or spawn dimensions detection quest asks that you have a specific item in your inventory you may need to push the manual detect button on the task to make it update it cannot detect items in chess or bags oh there’s bags that’s nice so

Animals so this is witchery okay and the other one is what is this one here The science of magic okay so here’s the choice oh i’m doing really well thanks for asking i’m glad you’re doing good too so here’s the choice we’ve got to make because i think that it locks you out of the other paths if you depending on what you choose so do we

Want to choose offensive spell work enchantment of items and the animation of golems with specialized wands and machinery or do we want to focus on Transmutation of plant and animal life for to protection and summoning beings from other realms or do we want to focus on healing communication and creation of magical items this is a pretty hard choice i’m not really leaning this direction i feel like this is the least interesting sounding

But what do you guys think and in the meantime i’m i probably should do something about this but is it daytime oh my goodness what they’re all just right on top of me they’re like they want me to just get destroyed yeah i’m playing on a laptop just like sam degroot said

Modded survival mod pack nope uh-uh dude calm down it’s basically a mod pack that focuses mainly on magic And it’s quest driven hey why can’t i hit you oh there we go come on there we go man that took way too long now if i get my sticks here and my stone pickaxe i can get some more stone here yeah he looked hilarious i don’t

I didn’t want to kill him but then you know the whole fact that i got poisoned by him and he really hated me that kind of made me have to but you know otherwise we would have chilled we would have been like i would have captured him put him in my house

And then eventually dyed him because i wouldn’t have known that he’s poisoned yeah it’s been pretty fun so far at this point we’re trying to decide between wit and witchery the science of magic and natural power so like choosing one locks you out of the others

I don’t think natural power i do think it’s either wit and witchery or the science of magic for me so this one specialized wands and machinery enchantment of items offensive i think offensive spell work might be cool because this focuses on defensive yeah protection so not necessarily getting to tax stuff

It’s more like protecting okay so it’s up to you guys so choose whether you want wit and witchery or should we go with the science of magic so this path here natural power i think is kind of lame honestly i know i know i should give everyone a fair shot but

No problem yeah minecraft’s a really fun game because you can just do whatever you want with it and it’s totally fine with it all right let me see i should make a furnace and how would i go about getting an air shard in the first place

Because that’s what i need for this one i know how to get the other ones but for for the science of magic how do i get an air shard or fire shark where is that let me see if i look it up here fire shard that this one uh

How to get air shards and fire shards because it seems like it would be the hardest to get so it could be the coolest one to do like the coolest path to go through with because if it’s so hard to get in surely it’s got some good stuff along the way okay

Row because i just got destroyed again and again so the way the map system works is it places like a massive beacon going to the sky wherever you died it’s kind of embarrassing but it also lets you know where your stuff is so that’s nice Where is any of this and i know if i touch the ground there’s probably gonna be all these monsters there we go yeah it’s honestly though kind of embarrassing because unless you go and find the setting to turn it off you’re always going to see your death beacons like oh yeah i

Like it’s got to be one of my favorite woods i’ve ever seen in minecraft it’s called silver wood in this mod There we go okay now this is a time to quickly look up fire shards and air shards just because i have no idea how to get it uh what mod is this this is no way airshot is thought air shard why’d i say shot is thom graph Okay okay it drops from air and fuse stone okay so it’s basically an ore that we have to look for now that we know that hopefully we can find it i don’t know what biome it’s gonna be in but i’m not really gonna look for that
