Let’s make some quick isometric minecraft blocks in affinity designer we’re gonna start by making three squares one for the top one for the left side and one for the right side to make this easier you could turn on a grid and also the snap to grid feature so when we start adding Pixels as textures those squares are gonna snap right into place when you’re adding those just shift the color a tiny bit don’t overdo it i’m gonna add a little touch of grass here along the top on the sides now for the magic go to view then to studio Then to isometric you’ve opened the magic maker we need to turn this into an isometric grid so go ahead and click modify grid in the grid type drop down choose isometric and just to be safe make sure that this box is checked before you click close choose the top and when you hit Fit to plane magic repeat that for the left side and repeat it again for the right side move everything into place and you have a block happy minecrafting subscribe for more tips and check out the rest of my channel for my intro to art series Video Information

This art tip is for Affinity Designer. The app comes with some tools that makes it super easy to make isometric art for games, poster or anything your heart desires. It’s one of my all time favorite features in that app. Drawing your assets and then snapping them into place is easier than using Procreate’s isometric grid. #shorts #affinitydesigner
