Hello guys and welcome to another minecraft guide today I will teach you guys how to survive in the desert and how to build a base there like to be honest if you want to start your first base somewhere I would not recommend the desert for it and there are multiple

Reasons why and I will talk about this today first of all if you are in a desert biome you won’t find any trees so you can’t really get any wood and the only foot sauce you actually have here are those rabbits so you need to hunt down rabbits and cook them because there

Are no crops or anything growing unless you locate our village and that’s something I always recommend look out for a village in the desert and build a base neuter it for multiple reasons for once you can do trading door there and second you have the often crops growing

And you can found stuff bit like carrots beat wheat or anything else and that’s another issue in the desert because you have no wood you have limited resources to build structures and what’s mostly common in the desert is of course said now can you do something we sent yes of

Course you can also use sent to create some material that can be used for buildings like in this case for example we have 8 blocks of sent and if you use 4 blocks like that you can create one central block and if you create multiple sandstone blocks you could if you wanted

And now you have some rabbit meat like raw rabbit that you can cook at the furnace and then you have something to eat but besides those rabbits you won’t find any food there however there is still a way to grow stuff in the desert and to create a functioning base that

Has everything from animals to crops to tree farms and all but that’s a little trick you must use if you want that first of all if you are in the desert and yet there’s my desert kingdom this is actually one of my basis I will also introduce you to that base later and

Show you what I did and how I made it possible but what’s really really important is if you build a base try to find dirt blocks with prayers like like here so you need to have some some water source somewhere with some grass blocks like in this case for example oh we have

Grass blocks near to the water and wait what is this this is desert hills now what you can do is if you want some some grass and you want to grow some trees you could actually start removing sand blocks like here in this case and start placing dirt down what does this

Do if you have dirt blocks next to grest dirt blocks the grass will start growing on it and the more blocks you actually have next to each other the first that actually goes like for some reason if you had like 2 or 3 blocks like that not

Just one block it grows way faster so if you wait for just a little bit we will see how the grass starts spreading and what you need to do then especially for like animal farms you need to line up that dirt you need to find a way to move

Create a big tree farm meaning that you spread the dirt here you get a bunch of saplings to have any siblings nor unfortunate I don’t have this one but you could also start growing trees and then we get wood for doors four four four trap doors and

Other stuff for your structures and yeah this one should start spreading pretty soon and you will see there will be more aggressive looks let’s go to over there and look if the grass started spreading yet okay didn’t it takes a while okay it starts working do you guys see that like

Here’s now another grass block so that grass even though it takes a long long time start spreading so let’s say made a field like that and for like a small farm that would be enough now you put the fence around it does matter if they are like sent blocks with the sheep or

Cows are but you always need to have multiple grass blocks because especially for like sheeps if you want like some wood they need to be able to eat grass and if you want to have a lot of wood you need that and what is very important

You see that how those sheep are eating that like all that grass and war is such an important material because you need it for beds and even if you want some decoration like carpets so to have a functioning sheep found you need grass blocks as well and now we got somewhere

We could make some beds oh and there’s something I’ve learnt about building a base of building buildings in general within the desert don’t ever use cobblestone like I’m not saying you can’t use cobblestone and you can use like a bit of cobblestone but if you create buildings with cobblestone in the

Desert they look not so nice because the color just doesn’t mentioned or I just look at that like imagine this was the house and an entrance okay that would be a crazy smart door but let’s just assume this was a building out of cobblestone I just

Look at it it wouldn’t match at all with it with the color theme of the desert you must definitely want to go with sandstone or smooth sandstone if you make a house in the desert it’s just so much better I just look at this house in comparison if we place a cobblestone

There and and compared with the sandstone like they can’t even be compared with they’re worlds apart like it looks a hundred times better to build with sandstone and if you don’t have like a little bit of word–but like junk we would like for those buttons here for

It’s one block higher or not only if it was like two blocks ina and there was like a scent then it wouldn’t work but if it’s just one block above no problem it was the spread and I’ve heard that if you place a torch it spreads faster but

I’m not really sure I have to yet confirm it I’m not sure if this actually is on just one platform or if this is on Yahveh or where it is like that but someone taught me that if you place a torch it can grow faster because of a

Higher light level but who knows I don’t take my word for this but someone told me that so yeah as you guys see that’s the first grass block so we could move all the dirt through the wall and in and through but yeah this would take

Eternity and what you always can do to save some dirt I hope you would be one okay that’s just an example I will of course place this back like you could just remove the blocks and move the dirt again so you could have like 10 or 20

Odd blocks and constantly move them go for a row then move around go for another remove a row and always wait and you could if you want to also place a bed and just wait it out but it’s very time-consuming and boring so it’s always better to go with circuit touch then you
