Hey panda lanes this is the black Bell panda and in this tutorial video I’m going to show you how to build this backyard greenhouse okay so we are here next to our neighbor who has a really fancy backyard garden going on there with lots of flowers and plants and you Know what we want to grow some too but we want to do it more professionally in a controlled environment so let’s build a greenhouse alright so I’ve got the area already fenced out this is 22 blocks from this fence post to the fence post at the end and 11 blocks from this Fence post to this fence post so 22 by 11 alright so the first thing we’re going to do is grab some podzol and I’m going to make a 3×3 square of pot sole here and then another one over here okay and then we’re going to grab our stone Slabs and we’re just going to make a nice little pathway I’m using the stone slabs because they kind of give the illusion of a tiled pathway that with the borders and the fact that they retain their stone appearance so we’re going to go all the way around like this Around the perimeter and so absent ice because when you’re doing flooring like this it actually uses less resources also there’s a fence gate right in the middle on the backside here and that’s just the case we want to use the back you know case we’re getting chased by Mobs or you know you just don’t want to walk all the way around the building back to the front slabs can be a little tricky to place quickly all right so now this is the end result of that the next thing we’re going to do is grab some wood planks I’m using Jungle wood you can use whatever one you want and we’re going to go straight across here and straight across here alright now we’re going to make sort of a frame or to come up three blocks like so so three blocks tall and then we’re going to go In one block and up in and up do the same thing over here and then we should have one block on top leg so we’re going to take our stairs we’re going to place them along the sides the edges like so and finally we’re going to stick in a Slab right on top alright so we’re going to do that again on the other side so three blocks tall and then we’re going to move in and up one oops and in and up one and finally in it up one more again stairs like so and a Slab on top and as you can see we’re making the frame of the greenhouse and a good greenhouse is good solid looking frame to complete the illusion of well as close to reality as you can get in Minecraft so now we’re going to find the middle so we’ve got one two three four Five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen fifteen blocks so we know that our middle is going to be the eighth block in so one two three four five six seven and eight here’s our middle now we’re going to create the frame here as well because we just have The frame on the ends it’s not going to look quite as sturdy as it can do this here and repeat the process with the stairs on the sides and the slab on the top now we’re going to connect the slabs cross the top like so and this will complete the frame of The greenhouse so this is what the end result should look like okay so now we’re going to fill that frame in with white stained glass so we’re going to start with the edges here the sides and all you’re going to do is just fill the whole thing in and here where the stair Block is we’re going to move in one like so and the stair block should be sticking out slightly if we keep doing that you’ll see what I mean here and this just makes it look you know like the frame is a little more solid sticking out slightly like it’s Supporting the glass here and I’m using the white stained glass as opposed to regular glass because it adds just a little more detail regular glass looks a little boring and this can also look like transparent tarp rather than glass itself but overall it in my opinion it Just looks nicer than the regular glass and you can experiment with the different colors you can try for example light grey or even black if you wanted it to look like it was tinted and if you want it colorful you can use an even use a colored stained glass like green or Blue or red any color you want you can experiment my example here just strives for realism so there we go now we’ve got the edges the sides of our greenhouse in we’re going to do the front right here like so we’re going to fill in that area Like that now we’re going to take white stained glass panes we’re going to use those across the top along the sides and we’re going to make it look like we have a glass door that’s open and the way we’re going to do that is by placing Glass panes in front like that and now it looks like we’ve got two glass doors that are wide open we’re going to do the same thing on the back side so glass blocks along the sides fill in the top here and then glass panes along the Top and the sides finally we’re going to put them here so we have a nice open door and of course if you want the back to be closed you can just fill it in and get rid of these locks here and then you can have it look like your doors are Closed in the back I’m going to do it this way so that you can go out the back nice and easy so the finished results with the glass in place should look like that now it’s starting to look like a greenhouse all right next thing we’re going to do Is we’re going to place some glowstone here we’re going to find our center place glowstone here and on the back same thing and now we’re going to use bricks as our flooring going to straight across here and same thing on the other side here now we can cover up this glowstone with Any colored carpet I’m going to use green just to match with all our plants and such and if you’d prefer you can just do carpet along the whole thing if you don’t want to use bricks or any type of special flooring or if you want your flooring to look exactly the same all The way around rather than having these carpet stripes but the carpet stripes don’t look bad you’ll see what I mean here in a little bit ok so next we’re going to do is we’re going to take our pot sole and we’re going to go all the way across the Side here we’re going to do the same thing here like that and then we’re going to run it down the middle as well actually we’re going to get rid of that carpet there so you don’t need the ghost in there either but if you’d prefer you Could leave a space here for a walkway that’s up to you I’m just going to fill it in we’re going to put flowerpots all across the top of this middle row here and finally we’re going to grab those stone slabs are going to place those all Along here and you don’t have to use double slabs like I am you can just stick them along the top if you prefer to save on resources I’m just doing this for simplicity there we go all right so this is what the inside of our greenhouse should look like so far so Let’s add some flowers all right so we can go with a fancy arrangement but I’m going to essentially just throw down pretty much every flower there is in Minecraft in no particular order are then the order I grab them in so for the center row here with the pots I’m going To use the colorful little flowers that you can actually put into the pots all the small ones here and let’s see where did I leave off the pink tulip so I’m going to grab an oxide daisy and a cactus because why not so last two boom alright so there’s all Our flowers in the middle our potted flowers along the sides I’m going to use the bigger ones we’re going to grab some grass some ferns some tall grass tall ferns now we’re going to grab the big flowers here and I’m just going to place down see a single one of each of those And then maybe two of those and maybe another one of actually two these another one of those two of those two of those do those you know what let’s go over here where we had this let’s reduce the amount of grass we’ve got here with some fun flowers instead huh oops Actually we’ll need to put two those in oh wow okay I grabbed extra no worries so in that case do this and throw down another small one there we go that’s fine that looks good so now I’ve got some nice green plants some colorful flowers over here let’s grab some sunflowers Let’s also grab some trees some saplings here so and let’s put down two Veatch these saplings and oops a sunflower because why not right you know what so we’ve got here how’s it looking it’s looking pretty good let’s put down another sunflower right there so two sunflowers now all right so that’s Basically it for the flowers on the inside here got a nice little organized professional looking greenhouse growing our plants so let’s add some stuff to the front here okay I’ve got a few flowers here and no particular arrangement I’m just going to put the rose bushes on either side peonies here And there and what I’m trying to do is to pick a contrasting color in this case it’s going to be red and just kind of frame it out with a couple of similar complementing colors in this case pink and I’m going to place another rosebush here and here and I’m keeping the garden Symmetrical here and I’m going to frame that out again this time with the lilacs another pink color put one there you’re going to get rid of that one and I’m gonna put a pink tulip there and a couple azure blue a do the same thing Here and the lilacs and we just get a nice colourful garden nothing too conflicting looks pretty good I think then we’ve got our house here so you know we can might might as well connect our pathway up like so this is the same as the house that’s over there nothing special Replace this with your house so this is what we’ve got so far and one thing we could do and this is totally optional just add a little bit more green to our greenhouses we could take some leaves okay and we can run them right up the Front like so and back down again just a little bit there come out a little bit there now we can place it along the side here all right like that I’m gonna break that right there I can place more right along the side here and now we can just Kind of throw in some random spots here and there just to make it look a little more organic something like that maybe and grab some vines you just kind of toss them around randomly wherever we want them doesn’t matter really they’ll grow down then we’ll get a nice overhanging Green leafy feature here that I think looks pretty good kind of like vines run it up along here if you get too close BlueGlass it’s gonna connect so I wouldn’t recommend that but looks good I like it got some vines coming off there big bushy ones alright so let’s go ahead And take a look at what we’ve got looks pretty good this is our completed greenhouse pretty simple very easy to do very effective looks good and while our neighbors sitting fancy over here their backyard garden gazebo we’ve got our own little fancy greenhouse growing all sorts of flowers that they don’t have so Yeah because we got a nice controlled environment here we can grow tropical stuff like cacti you don’t have cactus do you know that’s what I thought Punk all right so if you have any questions comments or
