Hello everyone and welcome back to another Minecraft video today I have a few things in my inventory um this is a little bit um abnormal for me to do uh but I thought that I might teach you a little bit about some techniques to make your ruins or your natural structures Look a little bit more um Blended in um to Nature so we’ll just have a look at that now um so over here I’ve got a bunch of different um like stones and they don’t have to be completely random it depends on like which parts you want maybe to form down Like um whether you want a door to be all smash or something like that we’ll get into that kind of thing and these I just got um not from uh a leaves but I got these from Vines actually so sorry for the plane above but I got these From some Vines and I considered using them as leaves so and I’ve also got these so these act as Short Grass um and this is very useful if you want to place grass on top of other blocks that you can’t usually um so normally you can only place it on Um like grass and things like that so here I’ve just used these which basically um if we have a look at them in here this is kind of the command that I’ve been using so just the name of it I try using to Grass this failed but then It would usually set the block to be Short Grass but you don’t have to use this um it’s just something that I put in there to kind of give it that yeah that extra natural feeling so let’s get into this so short grass 2 looks like this and the reason why it looks Like this is because um it’s just Tall Grass um but when you use command block to set that block to um Short Grass it’s only changing that block and because toil grass is two BL High that’s take that away let’s get started so some combinations that you May want to think of is do you want it to have fallen down do you want it to have just like kind of crumbled um if you want something to have fallen down then you may want some cracks um in it because it maybe a Smash Down of being broken down by a log um I won’t be using crack stuff I well I guess I will um so let’s get started so first um just to know um when you’re building something natural don’t think that it has a certain form like a certain Shape to it like you don’t want to build it exactly like a mansion um you may want to add some things that have kind of gone in or something like that think of this as the outside wall you would want to push that in and you Also want to kind of just ignore this texture and I’ll get into it um later but something like this um and so let’s get started um with the exact structure that I’ll be making so I like to kind of create long structures that are kind of bent if you know what I mean Just kind of like bent over so that they kind of reveal more around the corner so yeah something like this you don’t have to do you don’t have to do the same but this is the general layout that I can make so always start building the bottom plan um or the um Blueprint for and then um about selection so just remember what I said before about the kind of thing that’s maybe falling down if it’s fallen down we may want to use these say this is the door we may want to use something like this as the door of course he can put a Lot more design into that and then to make um holes and things you may want to use um stairs so when you put them in the ground you end up with just this bit poking up and then when you combine that you can also kind of Cur that around so That you kind of get that nice hole in there um then you can cover that around with simar blocks to kind of make it feel um more like it’s just been pushed into the ground and then also around these kind of things like what kind like What push are they in um like and and also maybe this is kind of um I guess debatable because um you could choose to put it to the Minecraft laws like the way that Minecraft works and think if it was made out of stone then use Moss because Moss eventually spreads to Stone Well we can infer that based on that we can bone meal Stone to turn them into M so think about that kind of natural process um and then throughout here um just don’t be completely random um just kind of think about the kind of things that Would have happened to the place so if you want to build like maybe some ruin you may think maybe it’s abandoned um maybe there’s something that um caused it to topple over um maybe like a volcano then in that case you may want to use some black stone something like that Um and also you can use leaves there maybe like small clubs of moss I like using aelas because well they’re from Lush caves so just kind of building that texture working those holes there um I’m also going to put some short grass on here yeah I think I’ll leave that part And then we can get into how the how the Bassel works so you would probably use some lava some magma blocks maybe even obsidian and cry obsidian so you can see where I’m going right um maybe some bone blocks um so just kind Of kind of like a b up Delta so you kind of want to find a place in your structure that you want to kind of turn it into that um and one thing that I find is um one of the most natural things um well maybe not but um it’s to not Fill the entire um area that you have dug out with lava or water depending on what it is if you do that and it just looks like it’s been still or maybe natural naturally form formed if we want it to have more history then we should remove this and Just let the lava kind of flow around it um and give it more than one block to spread you don’t have to it’s something that I like to do um just to kind of give it that more live feeling and also you don’t have to put um magma blocks around the whole source Of lava um just where the lava may be as crystallized well not crystallized but turned into a solid and then maybe and don’t think that you can just put obsidian wherever you want put that near where maybe some water came in so maybe there’s like a waterfall over Here you may want some obsidian depending again that’s debatable because that’s how the Minecraft mechanics work but then again it kind of works in real life um but it can also become bassal so you can pop in some bassal around here if you want that to be the peak of the Main point where all the water is coming in and depending on like how old it is you also want to choose um the B like there is a lot more that goes into making this decoration um than someone who has just like come in and just observed it because you need to Actually think about the story behind what’s going on and then maybe think has there been a person that has died here I’m not saying use entire bone box for that maybe you want frames so that it’s just my dog outside um but maybe you want some bone blocks to be Within and yeah so that’s kind of how it comes to this um and again well I didn’t say this before but you can um add V vitation to it um maybe some gold sorry whatever the word is gilded Blackstone it’s yeah gilded anyway guys um just imagine that this has gone Across the whole thing and then it’s faded into this um also one thing that I’d like to mention before I finish off the video is transitioning so think that nature is crossing over into The Nether for example what would be in between maybe you would have like some like maybe deep sleep Because well that’s if you’re doing it vertically maybe you want kind of like a diet then you would use deep site because imagine the ne as being below the overall um then again yeah I can’t really find anything right now but maybe if you’re doing something underwater you would choose um Some dead coral that’s near this because I mean I know that it is existing in real life just naturally with did Carl slowly gr unfortunately but um yeah you can see where I’m going with this um yeah I know um this could be two videos in one day Anyways guys goodbye um and I’ll see you in some other building tips and commands videos goodbye peace Video Information
