MaxStuff – Minecraft Bedrock – How To Locate Biomes (Mobile/Xbox/PS4/Windows 10/Switch)

More mega videos like this one and so we will get started so first of all there is no locate biome command in barrow condition this does exist in java edition where i can just type in locate biome and then the biome we want to have and then it automatically brings up the

Coordinates of the nearest biome of that type now sadly that is not really possible in better condition but today i will show you how to still find biomes in your world really really easily and to do this we’ll actually use a website which is called chunk base and using

Chunk base you can actually put in your world seed and then get a map of your world with every single biome on it and so this also means that you don’t have to activate cheats or whatever so if you want to keep your achievements in your world then this would still work also

I’m currently in the bedrock beta but this also works for any other version of bad rock edition for any console i believe and so yeah finding biomes might be really helpful for example for getting achievements or for getting certain resources or of course if you’re

In the newest beta and you want to check out the frogs yeah you have to travel to like a tropical biome and a cold biome to get different kinds of frogs so it’s really helpful to be able to travel to a specific biome as i said we’re going to

Need our world seed so once again there’s no command like in java edition like slash seed that doesn’t work so what you need to do to find your seat is go over to your settings over to game over here and then scroll down on the

Right until you see seed so this is our world seat for me it’s -201-893-4147 alright this will be your unique seat of course you could have filled this in at the sword when you first created your world but if you didn’t you’ll just be given a random world seed so make sure

To look it up write it down or whatever and then head to chunk bay so leave a link to the site in the description down below so you can go there immediately and follow along so here we are on chunk base and you will automatically go to

This site if you click the link in the description so this is the biome finder and so here we see the option to fill in our world seed but first let’s just select the right version so we can click this click down menu and down here we

See bedrock edition so of course you can also do this for java edition but there you can also use the locate bio command that works perfectly fine and so if you’re still playing a 1.17 or earlier versions then select this bottom one but currently we’re in 1.18 so we’ll select

This bedrock 1.18 and then of course there are also other ways to add your world into here but he just wants to just fill in your world seed so just put in your world seed which you’ve of course remembered or written down or whatever and so you have to make sure it

Is exactly correct because even a single number off here means that you get a completely different world as you can see here so of course you can check this by looking at the map and for example going to specific coordinates and seeing if it aligns and so currently we’re in a

Desert and actually we are in this desert up here and so if we scroll down a little bit you will see a whole lot of information here so there’s a compass up here which well isn’t really helpful there’s our seed which works better one with 18. that makes sense so it also

Acts as z coordinates so that x is here and z is down here and if you hover over this map you can actually see those exact x coordinates on the bottom left over here and you can also see the chunk and the biome which is really important

Of course so this is actually savannah so i’m actually over here in this desert which is what i meant to say and so of course you can scroll through this map you can zoom out a whole lot and see like oh look at this there’s a swamp

Here for example or there are some snowy plains and some jagged peaks here so you can teleport to there but there’s also a helpful feature below this map so if you scroll down a little bit you can see that we can highlight biomes and you can

Also look at the nether and the end if you wanted to but of course those are not really helpful of course if you want to find like a specific and biome i guess this could be nice but yeah we’re just looking at the old world i can get

Rid of the grid lines makes look a little bit better we can also see the cave biomes so we can also see the lush caves and the drip stone caves where they are in your world if you’re interested in that but for now let’s just look at the normal biomes so you

Can fill in specific coordinates or the important one highlight biome so we can press this and then over here we can select the biomes we want to highlight so let’s say we wanted to go to a frozen peaks for example let’s see so we can also type this in frozen peaks

There we go so make everything very opaque except for of course the binds we’re looking for and so these are those biomes so we can see that there indeed is some frozen peaks over here there’s some frozen peaks over here you can take note of the coordinates and teleporter

There in your world so let’s see let’s go to this frozen peaks over here it looks pretty promising so the frozen peaks is at minus 6 500 900 so let’s teleport there in game all right so back in the game and let’s go so let’s tp myself over to minus 6 500 i

Don’t know 200 maybe that would work and 3900 i’m in creative so this should work and i shouldn’t fall to my death or anything but look at this yes indeed we are in a frozen peaks biome it looks amazing and now of course if we summon in a beautiful frog it will be

Green beautiful frog beautiful beautiful here you go you can have that and so there we go now we’re in a frozen peak spine we can travel to any barn we want both in the nether or in our world and also we can find the cave biomes

With this tool and of course now indeed i am in creative mode but this would also work if you’re in survival because the only thing you need from the game itself is the world seat which you can always see and so i think that’s pretty
