MCPE 1.16.210.58 BETA CAVES & CLIFFS FIXES! Minecraft Pocket Edition Important Bug Fixes & More

Welcome back everyone my name is echo and i hope you’re having a great day today’s minecraft video we’re back on minecraft pocket edition the bedrock version for the latest beta today’s beta version is 1.16.210.58 now available for android windows 10 and xbox now if you’re just here for the changelog

It is down below this week we do focus on bug fixes and stability which is much needed because the past two caves and cliffs baiters we have been given have had a lot of bugs inside of them but i want to go through a couple of things number one

Let me know in the comment section what this says for you so it’s changed for me it says character previously it said profile and for some people it says dressing room now the whole reason why i’m asking you is because they are currently working on changing

The bedrock interface i did do a video the other day telling you guys that they’re changing the bedrock interface and it’s taken them two years to develop they started doing the work on this in the achievements i’m not going in there because it’s a little bit buggy

And today in this video we have changes to the marketplace not sure if this happened today or the other day but they are slowly starting to update the whole entire interface we have these here making it easy to go left to right uh the symbols are changing and things are a lot better

One thing you will notice if you’re a beta user how easy and smooth the transitions are going into settings going back going into play going back going into character going back like these instantly load up now as you guys know for the bedrock version you’ve probably been inside the

Character profile setting a million times and these have a circle they either don’t load or they take forever to load so things are definitely getting a lot better you’re not going to be waiting a very long time so let’s start off with the tweet coming

Uh aston me recording this this on a wednesday which is unusual because beta days are usually on a thursday but the transition thing it’s so hard to explain but if you’re a beta user you’ll know exactly what i’m talking about and like i said this is really good news for the bedrock community

All right guys let’s go to game and let’s check out this week’s changes hey look i still have my cape if you missed my video the other day i showed you guys how to get custom capes that’s the wax well looks of things in beta that’s good news

So this week we focus mainly on bug fixes but we do have quite a few changes that i want to go through it is really important that you report the bugs and if you guys could do me like an absolute solid and and leave a like on today’s video

Because i absolutely hate joining beta because of how frustrating it is to join and leave on the bedrock version so if you could stop a like i do really appreciate it it makes these videos well worth it so let’s start off with what we have here in the

Uh change log it’s described as this week we are focusing on bugs reported by the community accessibility the screen reader now properly announces edit slash create character button text for reach character i think it’s meant to say for each character on the profile screen we have performance and stability now we have

Quite a few of these and i’m just going to read them out but i want to show you guys what has changed on the official uh bug tracker again i like to explain to you guys how they’ve changed rather than just reading it to you the first one fixed a number of crashes

That occur during gameplay so this one is when you’re playing minecraft and the game just closes and you’re like huh huh what what why yeah they don’t really outline specific ones it just says that the next one fixed a crash when opening the achievement screen when anti-aliasing setting was set to one

General fixed ticks not affecting block changing states crops etc so in last week’s beta you probably noticed that if you broke everything it was dirt underneath it wouldn’t update so for example this block right here before i started today’s video it was a dirt block as you guys know surrounded by grass it

Updates and also becomes a dirt block uh in last week’s beta crops would not grow unless they were used with uh bone meal that’s what this one is specifically talking about the next one fixed the player being unable to interact with a tool in their inventory after breaking blocks with it in

Survival again we’ll go over the changes on the official bug report fixed dry kelp block bottom and carried textures so that rope pixels are aligned so in case you guys don’t know this one being the the line this is rope and this one they were not aligned

Correctly and we also have that same issue in today’s video and if you have ocd you’re gonna hate me but this is something uh this goes to show you guys that they’re using the old code on the bedrock version for the caves and cliffs because you see the line here

And the line here ocd people i’m sorry but it doesn’t line up like let me know in the comment section if that really really bothers you they didn’t fix it i was hoping they were fit gonna fix it but that was the same issue with the

Kelp it’s the same issue with the slab and it’s the same issue with the stairs and it’s so annoying uh but this will be fixed at a later date but the one that was in the current version and was really bothering people is that the underside

Of kelp was not fixed i think we just read that one next one fixed an issue where snow accumulated in lines with certain simulation distances tnt is usb it’s meant to say tnt submerged in water will once again launch players in survival mode oh echo you got a proofread

The next one fixed an issue where achievement names and descriptions would not be translated independent of language selection the online stats of cross-platform friends shown on the invite screen will now update when a change has been detected fixed an issue that prevented achievement rewards from showing correctly after changing language settings

Owned and purchasable skins no longer get mixed into different categories while offline emote title no longer shows previously previewed emote upon uh re-entering tab updated the in-game links to feedback site and bug tracker and this is quite an important one guys now do you want to make sure you’re updated with this one

Oh i love the transitions it’s so smooth apart from that one it’s so smooth and so much better also they recently like threw this in here and we said recently like going back to last year towards the end they put the marketplace inside your own game

Boy do they want you to spend your money so feedback it is important that if you do find a burger if you do find an issue whether it’s in beta or in a public release put report it you can even make a suggestion you can report the bug

And you need help the reporter bugs should take you directly now to the bedrock uh page rather than just the overall bug report section so yeah it should make things a lot easier for reporting them the reason why bedrock is very very buggy two reasons number one people don’t report their

Bugs and number two because joining a leaving beta is an absolute pain people don’t join or leave beta because they just can’t be bothered with how much hassle it is uh anyway but before we go on to the next ones guys i do want to show you the

Bug report like i mentioned so if we go to this one this is ticking area blocks changing state so they told us that this was going to be a thing basically in the last beta they said to us that your crops won’t update so i don’t know why people reported it

The next one tools and weapons become stuck in inventory when they lose durability from mining blocks so i’m not quite sure what this one entails uh stone pick i don’t really see the problem with that one i’m not quite sure uh but that’s what it says but again that’s an issue that’s been

Fixed this one so yeah people were getting really bothered with this one it didn’t align correctly it’s it’s like they fixed it on java a little while ago and they never fixed it on bedrock it’s so frustrating because if you have ocd it’s going to really bother you

The next one is snow and i’ve seen a lot of people happy about this one being fixed so you can see here like with certain simulation distances it was only generated in certain lines a really weird bug but it’s been fixed it’s like someone put heated layers in certain sections um but yeah

Like weird weird right that oh that looks really cool that looks way different you can see the way the snows fall and then it’s bringing like top snow there this one is achievements are not translated this is to do with changing your language uh they don’t translate if you unlock

Them and then switch language from my understanding so it’s good that that’s been fixed sometimes people are showing off dude this one’s so annoying let me tell you the friends and invite section is so a mess the problem i have with this is yes it or everyone shows up as minecraft but

Number two guys it’s not an alphabetical order so you’ll have like y at the top you’ll have like a at the bottom and number one you can’t search for a person i just want to search for my friends and invite them to the game so yeah the whole request thing still

Needs to be fixed but you can see people are having the same issue here um it shows people offline it’s still a work in progress still needs to be fixed uh goat spawn eggs are showing black while holding see i thought this was just me apparently this is a bug

I didn’t read that one out but i’ll go to that in just a second these two we’ll go to in just a second but i’ll explain them anyway the goat spawn egg now works correctly and this one is very weird rtx glitch when window isn’t maximized

So before we get into let me just read it to you uh where are we where are we graphics changes so goat and other tinted spawn eggs now look correctly when held in hand so if you have goats they now oh my god the transitions it’s really weird to explain it but it’s

Just so much faster and so much cleaner i know it keeps saying that but it’s a big difference uh it’s no longer glitched in my hand it’s no longer just a black spawn egg it now looks the way it should look in my hand and this one fixed an issue with screen resolution

Which could flicker when resizing a window so this is to do with windows 10 and i had this issue when you’re resizing it because you can have a big screen and you can make it as small as you want or as big as you want it would go

Crazy and glitch out that’s been fixed which is what i was showing you guys on the bug tracker the next one entities that use material state blending now render correctly behind transparent parts technical fixes and challenges uh changes not challenges and let me know in the comment section if

Dragon sadly dragon come on echo your spelling today is awful just disabled loading of entities in custom biome features fixed uvs of data-driven blocks to not be slightly shrunk which caused text or warping i don’t know i had a brain fart then fixed data driven blocks being pushed by uh

Being pushed by pistons not working correctly more changes read the changed log so the only things i have for you on the chainsaw guys is right at the bottom and this is just to do with render offsets component simple items like swords or pickaxes can now have optional offset applied to them

To modify the way they are rendered and then component variables i don’t want to write all of these on the sign because it gets a little bit too much so unfortunately guys there is no caves in cliffs features we still have goats and stuff like that of course in this one

And they still like to eat things and we still have the these and a whole range of bunch of things from last week but like i said we did very much need this bug fix and i’ve always told you guys whether it’s a small oh there he goes whether
