Mechanical Mastery Minecraft Modpack EP9 Effigy Automation & Tier 3 Done

Hey guys and welcome back this is Joe’s marketing today we’re jumping back into some more mechanical masteries so I hope you guys are ready now for the part you’ve probably been waiting for and that is the Effigy summoning and killing and processing well first we need to make and automate

The Effigies and we should now have a whole bunch of the resources to be able to do that now for all the Effigies there is a lot going on here let me just be clear but I think we can set up a sort of a pathway where all of these can

Be automated in a single row um now the thing that we are going to need is the dormant Effigies we’re gonna need these the most and this basically requires the production of bone Mill and stone now Stone we already have produced so I don’t really have to worry about

That too much as I can just uh take from this current setup here and uh we should be fine I’m just going to need to get refined storage hook to this because I guess I can just leave that there it’s not a big deal um but the other stuff right we’re gonna

Need to send Stone to this and Bone Mill now bone Mill is going to need to be requested upon crafting um and so I think what I’m going to do right here is place down my induction smelter and this is going to be something that is a request craft here

Um and we’re going to need to make sure that we can take from the EMC because I want to prep this for as if we have EMC available always um and so I will say take bone and we need to make bone meal but we need to do

It this way right and remember I don’t care about the outputs I just need to make sure that the main exists and so that is going to give me three guaranteed every time upon its initial requests and I do have a free space Emerald is going to be very unlikely to

Be used while we use that one for this and I have inputs in for each of these different materials whenever it gets requested in the craft so what we can do is for each of these different uh Effigies here we need to make sure we request we request a dormant one and uh

To do that I just need to make sure we have the available recipes right so for example calcite uh that is the the main recipe here and we need to make sure we have that set and so this will go into this crafter and that should craft and

Then we just put an import on this and the Importer will make sure that uh we get those out and it can supply that to our setup that we’re going to have over here which is going to be the killing chamber for these now another thing that’s going to need to be

Crafted well is just the Soul Stone up here and that’s just a simple craft that I can just put inside of my normal crafter so now we’re also going to need to craft the whole thing and so we just simply add that as well to the same crafter

Um if this becomes a problem of course these Crafters are actually a little bit faster than normal ones if these become a problem where it can’t craft both of them at the same time just very unlikely um we can go ahead and move them into separate Crafters but I think it’ll be

Fine on this go um now I’m gonna have to set up the four areas for all of these guys to get put into and what I’m gonna need is something that’s sending to stabilize Redstone to a flute encapsulator right floor need four crucibles all doing their own tasks sending different fluids

And then those fluids will be sent to four encapsulators and then that should produce the Effigies and then we should be able to just send that to a clicker and that clicker should be able to activate them and summon them in I just don’t know exactly how these things

Interact with the world but if you don’t want to actually have them spawn into the world you can use a sawmill on them and The Sawmill will actually drop but it’ll drop less of the potential items that it can uh have so with this I’m thinking about starting from the bottom

And going this route so um we it should be able to click right here onto this because there’s a block space in between and it goes in here what I’m worried about is it uh getting trapped into the blocks but I hope that doesn’t really matter

Um these are these are really hard to break by the way it’s like they don’t have yeah there’s no tool used for breaking them so it’s like breaking it with your fist oh it’s painfully slow I just wanted you to guys to be dragged along that process with me

Um so there we go so we have all these clicking and uh as of right now I don’t really have to worry about the clicking speed what I plan on doing is having some glass here to kind of cover it up uh but we need to send the items to this

So that is where the flute encapsulators are actually going to go right because the item just gets sent to here and the flute encapsulator should be able to work now here’s a problem I’m gonna have and that’s powering these machines the fluid encapsulator is actually what’s going to be requesting so I actually

Refined storage on this and so on the front I’m gonna have cables to power it for now later on we’re gonna have some better Wireless power but for right now that is going to be how it’s going to work and uh the magma Crucible we should be

Able to power these from the back these are going to be receiving the actual raw material needed to make these uh these things now there is one material that is needed for this whole process that I’m kind of confused as to craft and that is ender pearls

Um so I’m not sure if this will work because if I go to craft multiple ender pearls I need a bunch of philosopher’s stones but how does it work if it’s just trying to bring one at a time and only doing a single craft well that’s something I’m gonna have to figure out

Um and maybe we can get it to do that with a crafting but I have no idea we’re I need to get all these set up and figure out which one is going to be what so at this point I can start to get these things sort of set up

Um and make sure I get everything going here I think I’m gonna go in the order of Blaze Blitz Blitz and basals and go in that order from the right being the Blaze and so Blaze needs lava and that’s a pretty easy one to do as we only need

Another rack right Netherrack and that’s pretty cheap that’s automated we’ll always have lava here and it’s ready to go um the next one is Blitz this requires resident Ender and to get resonant Ender you need to send it into pearls however I don’t know if I can get away with just

Having one here with a crafting upgrade and just uh use that um and if it’s going to only request one at a time if the request one at a time then we’re going to be fine and I’m not going to have to worry about anything

Just not sure that it’s going to do that um so I’m gonna put a crafting upgrade in here and just see if it even tries to attempt it it to me is not trying to attempt it oh wait it’s not actually hooked up I’m a I’m a dork let’s let’s actually plug it

In and let’s see if this if this works plugged in because then that would be really nice if we can guarantee that it’s only going to try and craft one at a time if it’s successful then we know it’s worked right so ender pearls um let’s actually make sure it can

Receive the items into the back um and there we go we’re gonna do ender pearl and craft is it attempting I don’t think it is hmm and I almost wonder can I make it only craft one by using like a limiter we’ll see and when I mean limiter I mean

A regulator upgrade that’s the thing that I really want to see here also is this even working in general make sure the back okay so it is all plugged in we can try a regulator upgrade and that should make that specifically one hidden is still not doing the craft how

Am I supposed to get ender pearls there is Ender dust but we’re not going to have access to indoor ore this is the weird process here is trying to craft in refined storage with a philosopher’s stone I almost wonder if I’m gonna have to set up an auto crafter with a philosopher’s

Stone in it to be able to manage this you know I was gonna say that the rf2 after it was going to come in clutch here because it’s really really nice it does cost power but look at this it requires sequential Crafters in order to craft

The tier one crafter and to go up even higher in the crafts oh it just it’s it gets it costs more and more of them wow okay but this is going to be I think a necessary evil in order to craft ender pearls out of our iron Supply so to be

Able to craft these ender pearls let’s get this bad boy done so I’m going to be using a philosopher’s stone and we’re going to be making ender pearls like this and uh make sure we have a recipe selected and then I’m going to use Kabul to sort of blend everything out of here

And then I’m gonna need some iron so I’m going to put all of the ingredients in here that we’ll ever use just like that and make sure that there’s no other slots the output doesn’t really matter here but I want to set this to remember and now

It well I thought it would remember let’s see remember current items in the input buffer so it tried to remember for some reason it did not remember there we go now let’s remember them all um it needs to remember these because in our recipe we are going to be using this

And this and we’re going to apply and that’s going to save ender pearls as our craft so now when we send iron to this with this philosopher stone in here oh also we need to make sure that uh this stays in the internal buffer here so hit apply again

Um make sure that is changed we need to make sure the Philosopher’s Stone stays in here and it should craft this now it doesn’t seem like it’s doing that um because it should have it should have tried crafting it already should be using this iron here for some reason it’s not apply

Oh okay and it’s still oh there it goes okay so maybe I had to go to exit C uh to set here so take the output buffer remaining items like buckets and it’ll stay in the input so that way it never leaves the input okay good and now we can just

Request so we don’t have it constantly running we just need to have it send the four iron to make an ender pearl so now we can set up a crafting recipe that looks a little bit like this we said it’s a processing and we’ll say four iron oops let’s actually make sure that

Is set to specifically four or iron is going to equal one ender pearl and now we can create a pattern for that and that pattern can go in here and so now this should be able to request ender pearls upon demand at least I would hope so if it ever

Wants to send to this um oh that’s right um so if this does create we also need an importer otherwise it will not be able to complete and we need to make sure the Importer is accepting those ender pearls um so this should be submitting a request for this to go into here

Oddly enough a lot of work to try and get ender pearls into this machine and I’m hoping that will work I’m gonna have to craft a crafting manager so yeah with this crafting manager I should be able to see current crafts oh wait no this this shows me everything else this

Is not what I needed oh I’m a dork look at me wrong the crafting manager is still quite useful but just not what I needed basically this shows me all of my Crafters that exist throughout my whole network it allows me to manipulate them from this one manager what I need is the

Crafting monitor which I think I probably could access via this um right I think there’s actually a mode Control G fluids monitor so there we go I could have actually monitored or just changed my grid but I don’t have it in my inventory so that’s a thing so I’m guessing for some

Reason this isn’t wanting to count this so I think what I’m gonna have to do is set up a importer up top here that Imports iron and I don’t know this is maybe an Importer on the side that Imports iron I still think I want the request but

This isn’t accepting the request that this should be doing oh my gosh I just realized why it’s not working that’s because I have two crafting recipes for it and one of them’s here and that’s probably breaking the craft oh my gosh it is and so now it’s working

And it does have the requester so it does request I’m just a complete and total dork as I had that original crafting recipe that doesn’t work over there I cannot believe I did that oh my goodness now this one’s gonna get Glowstone need to make sure it is set up

And make sure it is pulling from the back outputting to the bottom which all of these need to be outputting to the bottom goodness this one which is going to be Redstone now the Redstone does need to be crafted so uh we can go ahead and set that

With that crafting upgrade card the same card that we uh had just used on the ender pearls now this is where the fun to come in because all of these on the bottom here are going to need crafting upgrades I believe because these are going to be requesting the Effigies so

In just like this I should be able to take the uh let’s see Effigy and say I need to craft you and that should send this uh to the back and that should request it is it’s going to activate this that’s going to run a process and we’ll see how this works um

I’m honestly kind of curious how all of this is going to work out and if these are going to actually craft properly or not I’m super nervous so it says the only thing I’m missing right now is some glowstone so with the glowstone made it should hopefully be able to produce

These I actually want to see can I produce them on my own okay I can they automatically get put into here but they’re not they don’t seem to be requesting on their own which is that same issue I was having earlier it should be the only place that it’s being

Requested though okay never mind it seems like this is still requesting okay so this is now requesting and it’s doing what it’s supposed to be doing there we go Okay so they’re just slow to fill up but we do have some and they are Distributing evenly which is something

That I was kind of curious about okay there we go so they are building up they are just going to be kind of slow because this is going to of course take the most amount of time now the pack itself in the quest recommend using a vacuumulator which is actually a really

Good option I think it has a 5×5 radius on its own which is quite a bit even though it’s not displaying for me for some reason some sort of rendering bug it is there I promise um no I need to get some glass that is going to be another thing let’s see do

We have the ability to make dark glass I think that would look really good here from like industrial foregoing has it dark utilities has this I guess maybe regular glass might cut it for right now might do the job I was not intended to be a pun ended

Up turning out to be oh yeah yeah we have all kinds of rendering issues happening over here oh that is weird article even a regular glass is not rendering but I do have it technically blocked in and that means if we turn this on they should spawn in as soon as I place

This to extract mode and it should Auto extract there it went and so it’s down there being killed and then our vacuumulator picked up the blitz Moats and so now we just kind of have to wait for all of the other ones to sort of

Place in I don’t even have to adjust the speed or anything this should just work it looks like it’s just working that’s perfect it’s exactly what I need now we should get the blaze one to go and it’s taken there we go taking a bit

But there we go and this is killing them it’s doing a good job I think now unfortunately I can’t see this particular block here but I want to put an Importer on top here and get the Importer hooked in there’s some weird things going on here but

This should start to pull all of these resources out that this is now collecting and I want those to be stored over here um so like blaze rods and all of that for example we need to start our own little section so there’s our blaze rods so Blaze at

Rods are now automated which is really nice and the thermal pieces which are going to be this the Moats and also the Blitz right or the basals uh shards so Basalt oh actually I’m missing one of them yep Blitz cubes blizz cubes anyways so we should be able to get all of these

Ready to go there we go there’s that that and that ah perfect one step closer to the yellow automation now one of the other things we’re going to need to do is take all of those resources that we just generated and well for the majority of them we need to grind

Um I I think uh keeping these in their current form really isn’t going to be the most useful thing so I want to grind these down and we can go ahead and do that from this pulverizer and so I can set this in here and Bam we have all of these resources

As soon as they’re generated they should go right into here and then output and hopefully this is fast enough to keep up with all of these spawning once we once we get this all up and running because the one thing that’s limiting us I think is just not having

The raw materials uh through EMC so I’m gonna go ahead and get that set up real quick okay now hold on for just a moment I think what I want to do here on the bottom is uh set this up with a pipe that can actually round robin because this is not

Going to round robin the way that I initially was hoping it would do um so what I’m going to do instead is I will use all of these cables right here um to attach into an inventory and then use the pipes mod to hopefully accept so if I take this

Cable and let’s take a drawer for example that I have set up uh let’s see it should be stack of four that has a stack limiter on it so this is going to have a stack limiter you can see you can only hold one stack of items

Um and then I’m gonna put that same exporter on here that we were using there we go and the exporter then will request the effigies so it’s gonna request the Effigies and then send that there um so that should start putting the Effigies into this and do the request

But I now need to have this do a round robin um and so I think to do that uh let’s see with the pipes mod it’s probably one of the easier ones to set this up with I don’t know if this one lets it no we have to go to the next tier

Which I believe is gold yep and of course we need Redstone I never have enough Redstone we’re gonna have to work on that that’s gonna have to change yeah even requesting it’s not going to really help in the situation oh there we go so with this there we go

Distribution and then we’ll do it round robin and what round Robin’s going to do is hopefully distribute all of these in a much uh more efficient fashion so it’s gonna go to this one this one this one and try to evenly distribute them which is hopefully

Going to work out much better so that way we’re making sure that all of these that are being crafted are being used uh at all at the same time and then for this let’s make sure to set this to one click a second to make sure it’s utilizing them all

Effectively as well there we go that’s more like it that’s what I want to see perfect now real quick I’m going to get a little bit of create set up here and uh I need to get this spinning so that way I can go ahead and craft some of the

Yellow so that way we can get this hooked into our system once we have it hooked into the system I think it’s just going to be smooth sailing and things are just going to hopefully work I’m gonna have to definitely though increase my Redstone production as we’re just not

Producing enough I don’t think so here we go all I have to do is uh set this up drop these items in makes it a little bit easier to get this set up by doing it this way there we go we have that I can go ahead

And make sure that is set in for the filter um I think I’m gonna need another one good thing is is I can just pull those items straight into my inventory uh which now that we have them available is a little bit easier now there’s still some Auto crafting that’s going to have

To take place we’re gonna have to set up Auto crafting for the Earth charges and this is why we needed gunpowder because now we’re going to be able to auto craft gunpowder quite effectively due to all that sulfur and stuff we generated but with this we now can create that

Ultimate EMC setup right so we’re going to need an energy condensers and then we’re going to combine that with the regular Essence and we’re gonna get ourselves the transmutation interface which is going to be incredibly useful now for this setup I’m gonna need some red matter and thankfully red matter is emcable

And there we go I’m pretty sure that’s all we need right we’re gonna need uh these which require blocks of EMC well blocks of red matter four blocks of red matter per chest and then we’re gonna need four of those chests and then same with the dark matter so in just like

This I should now have everything I need oh boy perfect so yeah it was a stack of each just to make it a little bit easier and here we go transmutation interface and uh all we need to get this up and running is a storage let’s see a refined storage interface

So they’re real in external storage does what I was looking for so many names so many things all right external storage and then we can make sure to hook into the external storage um I might actually just put this into one of my refined storage probably the drawer network over here

Doesn’t really matter too too much where I put it um let’s let’s put it right here now on this external storage we’re gonna need to make sure we set that priority way higher let’s say it’s a four Which is higher than anything that means anything that is emcable will be made

Sure we’ll make sure to go through this first before any other storage um and then it’ll also make sure to pull out anything that’s emcable first before using the stuff that’s in our storages so now at this point point this is huge this is huge we are kind of at a

Milestone where we now have EMC evil stuff look at all the dirt right so there shows our EMC value we have 17 million which means these are one EMC so we have 17 million it shows all of our EMC of all things in here and we can

Craft with them and pull out of them it’s pretty darn neat um and that means we can also send items directly to our crafter as well or directly to our EMC through refined storage it kind of makes things a little bit easier now I still have a couple more things I

Want to get set up to craft because I do today want to go ahead and automate our process here I want to go ahead and automate the yellow which we should be able to do with just a few crafting tweaks here the one thing I’m going to

Need to do is also get blaze processing and I wanted to do blaze a little bit differently so I’m going to use a detector right here and we’re going to export Blaze but our detector is going to basically say hey when we have above a certain amount in our inventory we

Want to make sure to not process blazes anymore and that’s actually going to be kind of a low number I’m going to say if we have enough blaze powder um let’s see one and then I need to search blaze powder if we have one blaze powder at least

Then go ahead and stop I don’t want it uh to do that so um emit a signal went above this amount and then I’ll make sure this only works without a redstone signal um and then I just got a hook in the cable and hopefully then we’ll get this processing and it’s

Better to process the blaze rods inside of this because you can get up to six uh which is kind of nice compared to everything else um yeah you can get at least three but you’re gonna get about six Blaze uh powder from doing it this way and uh

That’s almost it now all we have to do is get a cable over here and then also get a pipe on here so that way we can have this always being fed with lava and I think we’re pretty good right pipe and then we’ll just use a crafting setup

To just make sure that it has all these ready to go on Craft oh boy things are looking good now we are gonna need one of these crafting upgrades because there’s a lot of things that will have to be crafted in order to go into this but it’s just going to be these

Particular items that I’m going to need um and then I’m also going to need to kind of start pulling out some of the blue I don’t want to use let’s see I don’t want to use all of the essence that I have stored away in here

Oh that wouldn’t be good so I do want to keep some of these um so maybe we’ll have to set it up a little bit different but I also want to pull this out and have it go into EMC because this is going to increase our overall EMC values

Um so I’ve got to get all of this stuff in these filters and hopefully start piping in and with this filter it shouldn’t allow anything to overfill in here so now I also need to get these basic control circuits automated so that’s just a metallurgic infuser pretty

Straightforward on this I have it auto crafting the Redstone that we’re going to need for this I’m hoping to eventually remove the need for that auto crafting setup and just have a bunch always processing but for right now that gets the job done and then I need osmium

And all this is going to cost more EMC than we’re currently producing but hopefully we’re going to be developing or generating way more here soon and then that’s going to send into a storage it’s just going to start producing them um let’s see I do want to make sure they go into this

And I might as well also like along with these start producing the other ones as well next to it so now for the final thing I just need to break these and then tap in to an import cable that’s connected up to this which should hold these and uh hopefully not cost anything

Crazy here um so yeah cables here we go I’m pretty excited this is actually going to get everything produced now um and so we are going to need a place for these let’s see essence I do have a bunch of them so if I just put the essence in here we should now

Have everything we need to produce the yellow Essence and there it goes oh my goodness and um so now I just need an importer I think I can just put an Importer on the other side and then we’re good and then that’s literally it then we just need to process these process these

Um and that should hopefully only import that make sure by filtering and then make sure we’re set to a white list so it’s only pulling those items in and there we go we have it processed and we just need to get an emc’d and we’re ready to go

Um and I don’t know what all items these use okay it looks like we can start making the higher tier versions of our machine upgrades and everything oh this so nice but we do need to make sure we are going to be generating our EMC numbers back so now for another fun

Little part that we’re gonna have to do here and that is of course turning it back into EMC but that’s not going to be incredibly difficult um I’m gonna have an exporter that’s on here and then I do need to set up a detector because I don’t want to run out

Of the yellow I want to have at least 64 of the yellows in my stock um so if we take a look at the yellow Essence I’ll say this and I’ll say 64. right and now I got to figure out the Redstone Logic for this so emit a signal when

Um above the amount and when it is above this amount when it goes above 64 I want it to uh see emitteres signal so that’s perfect and then when it receives a redstone signal I only want this to work with a redstone signal so when that goes above 64 we

Have more than 64 it’s going to start sending and as soon as we’re back out it should stop so we want to make sure that we get the yellow Essence in there and that’s going to go into the press and same setup as before it’s going to be emc’d once we have more

Than 64. right now we have 45 so we’re getting there we’re gonna lose a little bit of EMC but I’m going to need those uh for our future endeavors oh I almost messed up here I just just realized that this is actually supposed to be blaze rods instead

And that should hopefully work and send a signal I might have to put it to the side here oh boy um emit a signal went above a mount I’ll try that I’ll try that instead so we need to emit a signal when above the amount which the amount is one

Or I guess we can make sure we always have a certain amount of blazes so like 60 let’s let’s uh always keep 128. 128 blaze rods and we can go emit a signal win above the amount so once it goes above and then only work with redstone

And then make sure to set blaze rods in there okay and then that should start to put any blaze rods that’s above 128. I might want to go higher than this but any other blaze rods above that is going to be converted into its blaze powder form there we go

And that should make sure we have everything now effectively running ah goodness wow this was definitely definitely a fun Journey today I had a lot of fun putting this all together now of course guys if you did enjoy today’s episode and this was something that uh
