Michonitch – Minecraft Biome Run 3

And hello everybody welcome back to the video today we are back inside of minecraft parkour and we are going to be playing biome run 3. first off if you guys enjoy please like and subscribe it does help the channel a lot anyway let’s get right into this we’re just going to run

Forward and do the first one in the line as far as i understand you start with a limited number of hearts and you have to get through the parkour without dying in as quick of a time as possible um and as far as i understand that’s pretty much the gist of it

You’re gonna take fall damage and all that stuff so you have to be careful to not take too much damage so as not to be able to make it um yeah and a large part of it appears as though it’s going to be just kind of pathfinding your way through the levels

To where you need to go in this case it does appear as though we need to start back here what does this button do what that is so trippy i gotta go i’m only a bit confused all right um can make it jump to that

And then i think i might be able to i just didn’t bounce me off the slide oh okay let’s let’s try this again because this does appear as though there’s going to be a like i need to stop taking random dumb damage i say that immediately fall off this is

Going to take more than one try it definitely appears um this doesn’t look like a map that i’m gonna beat while we play it but i might as well still play through some of it and have a good time you know okay now let’s jump

Bam there we go that’s what you like to see now i can jump to here jump glide off that much better making a lot of progress for sure and down and around try not to take damage as we fall boom ah that’s trippy i take it i want to catch the honey and

Fall down here and progress from down here all this weird moving honey is freaking me out a little bit though that’s probably the end right there i think we’ve probably made it assuming i don’t mess up drastically oh no it’s a checkpoint i didn’t expect there to be checkpoints but that’s

A welcome surprise especially in fact i just died um huh okay that’s a head hit spot i’m definitely not going that way okay catch that got weird candles they look quite interesting with the i think lightning rods and candles on top um wait wait wait way no no i’m i’m completely stuck i’m

Completely stuck is there any way to get out of this scenario i don’t think so i i have to restart the level also in hindsight it looks like it’s actually the way to go first but i i have to beat the honey level now i can’t just not

Beat the honey level so we’re we’re going back through the honey forest and i’m going to try to take a bit less damage on the way this time i mean granted it’s not that big of a deal because you do get the checkpoint and whatnot but still i’d rather not take damage if

I can avoid it okay already though i kind of hate this honey forest like it looks really nice don’t get me wrong but honey is such an obnoxious block to deal with i also don’t think it helps that i don’t think this is what was supposed to be the first one

Uh is there any way to cross to there without going down i don’t think so we okay i am ow free damage how much stuff is their head oh this stuff head but it doesn’t look like this that’s so loud like it looks like generally once we get out of this section here

We should be pretty close to the end assuming there’s not any shenanigans being pulled or anything bam oh i can take this strap didn’t even have to land on the edge nice nice bam and there we go i’m a little confused by all these snake things flying around

But it’s fun i’m not super worried about it i didn’t need to jump that but i did anyway okay we have made it down now we journey through this really interesting setup with all these jumping honey blocks and now it’s across the road wait this is like that one game um Stinking frogger that is so weird um okay nice nice easy enough oh wait i think i have to go up here and then take this pillar i don’t trust this oh hey two minutes and 52 seconds i don’t know if that’s good or bad or whatnot but very cool i’m gonna start on

The other side though and kind of go around clockwise because i’m guessing that’s a bit more the direction were expected to take although the fact that this is an in section makes me a little less sure There we go blam Oh ow i’m just gonna fall off and get it restarted yeah okay let’s let’s try this again this map’s really cool though i really like the setup of this it’s a bit weird don’t get me wrong like with all these random effects and like the honey forest with all those

Random jumping honey things but overall it’s not bad and i missed that that is so sad Maybe i’m supposed to go higher or no you can’t double jump off of those that’s about to say maybe if you jump at the right timing off you can get it but it’s not pretty good maybe what i do is i go this way and we got a speed

Which can get us over here and then it teleports us over that makes so much more sense than jumping off oh more teleportation okay i just didn’t jump and there was no checkpoint at least i know where i’m going now and as far as i can understand with the way

This map works the main difficulty is going to be figuring out the pathing of it all without dying and then the easier parts actually going through at all i say that and then fall and take a bunch of damage but as far as i can tell that’s the general gist of it is

Figure out your passing without taking much damage and go from there Oh no okay i didn’t die off of that it’s possible we’ll bump into a checkpoint soon which will make my life a bit easier What it just ran out i didn’t realize that was how that worked what it’s so infuriating it’s not really integrating but it is a bit frustrating okay Like i have the same problem with speed jumps i’ve always had with them like me and speed jumps still don’t like each other Oh it ended part way Okay Wow i didn’t need to lose that half a heart it’s fine though No that was not where i was supposed to go ah this is so trippy like this entire map is just so trippy Like the way it all works with Just i don’t know just in general there’s something about the map that’s really trippy and i fell there that’s embarrassing that was my first time feeling that jump that’s fine that’s fine it slows me down a bit but shouldn’t be a problem Here we go now we take this jump boost and we jump to here so that we don’t take that half a heart of damage and then we go around this way and with this jump boost i can’t tell if we jump high enough for that or not

It looks like it’s just short i’m not gonna lie i think i have to jump to there yeah then we jump to whatever this is all right this is levitation um that’s on the same height okay that was close um now it looks like we jump to here we pick up speed

And then we could probably take somewhere in this direction oh this teleporter as far as i can tell from this section if there’s a teleporter go for it now we jump down we get our checkpoint jump over here fall to there fault there that was probably not the ideal fall

That definitely wasn’t ow oh lytra master what what what what this isn’t where i’m supposed to be um unless it kind of means hitting the teleporter or something i don’t know i’m very confused i shouldn’t be here i don’t think we ow okay that’s fine we it’s awkward um i’ll make that right

Yeah only a small decreasing name i like your master again hello mr elytra master maybe i can complete your course this time so much speed so much speed so hard to control um i made it i actually made it okay cool um What are all these orange ones oh snowfall so i take it we wow What does it say the orange block is soft okay I can’t make that i’m so close i guess i do jump to here followed by here bam and we get out to here where i presume we step out and go up and around i doubt we bother to go any further now it doesn’t look like it um

When we come out to here we can jump to this and this has got to be the trippiest chain parkour i’ve ever seen oh my goodness let me in okay thank you thank you so much i really didn’t want to have to deal with that any longer okay

And then we make it up to wherever this is what’s that say jump into the golden rings before completing the level okay cool cool cool um nice nice um this is really interesting it doesn’t look like it’s relevant to me however so i’m gonna just i hit my head that was stressful

Jump in the golden ring oh there’s slime i almost lost that that was way too close and i still ended up dying i just ended up not losing oh already through two lows this is actually a lot of fun like it’s not what i was expecting going into this

But it is a ton of fun okay and one of the interesting aspects is it has the avoid fall damage ordeal that’s fairly common in more difficult maps actually just in general is a fairly common mechanic used that you know a lot of maps use if they want to kind of

Get a unique feel to whatever they’re doing but um they do really well in this like the limited health throughout the level that if you end up falling too often in safe spots you end up dying so you can’t just rely on oh well if i follow this spot i’ll land

On a spot that i can easily get back to where i’m at from so i don’t really have to stress falling from here like there’s still some of that but it can only be used a very limited amount which i feel like is really cool wow that hurt i didn’t even jump there

I’m not sure if this is possible or not i’m gonna try one more time ow um feels so possible but i don’t think it is i think i have to find some other way to get higher which stinks considering how much damage i just took uh where else would i get higher from

Though something else i can jump back to without taking as much damage can i like go up here to somewhere um or maybe i have to go back here and parkour up to the top of this bit doesn’t look like it wow this was already confusing me a great deal

Uh it’s pretty straightforward to get back to where i was at though so shouldn’t take long for that at all just gotta make sure not to take fall damage here okay nice nice now this time i’m going to see here how far can i get up

Well actually no i don’t want high up this it’ll be a waste of time um i wanna pretty much take any decent path upwards that i can find although they seem to be in a lack of supply but um like if i can get further up then it’s possible That i can it’s looking less and less likely that i think you do that over here though um huh so confused maybe i had the right id originally with this jump to there or maybe there’s some other slightly easier jump up but it definitely appears as though this

Is sort of the right idea i think i don’t know i might be wrong here and if i am it’ll hurt if i fail this ow man yeah i clearly have the wrong idea here or so it appears i’m just so confused where else i can get up from

Because the only other thing i could think is somehow getting to the top of that but how do i even begin to climb that because i’d have to get like up to there which would require getting up to that position which just doesn’t seem possible anywhere

Unless whoa wow that was not worth it in any sense now okay unless i need to take a route up these to this plant from where i guess i can cross over to this i’m just getting further and further back at this rate um but as i’m getting further up it seems

More and more likely that this might be the right direction okay nice i have to make it to there that’s not gonna be easy we got it barely whoo that’s stressful any fall from this height will 100 kill me enough to restart the whole thing um now problem

I can’t get anywhere over there so i have to continue climbing the flat checkpoint i’m heading the right direction clearly i was supposed to head up this thing which makes me a little sad that i wasted so much time checking out stuff on the other end but

It’s fine it wasn’t super obvious but it’s obvious enough that’s gonna be for future use almost guarantee it yeah i like that this map seems to be much more about pathfinding than parkour skills like obviously parkour skills are helpful but as a general rule the focus appears to

Be more so on the pathfinding abilities which isn’t something i’m used to in a map there’s water there no i over jumped it that’s fine we got a checkpoint i do think the first water might be a trap though i don’t know i don’t know i’ll have to get back and

Make it again to actually find out really wonder what the point of that is i kind of want to find out but i’m just going to keep going the other interesting thing is apparently there’s cosmetic sort of items hidden around that you can find i just don’t know where

I would find said cosmetic items that really might that’s under class which means that the only possibilities i have to jump all the way to that one which i over jumped anyway uh i mean over jumping these jumps my word but yeah just the hard focus on

You know can you find the right path is pretty cool i mean it’s not my favorite i feel like in this specific case for example like it they’ve kind of had to forgo any legitimately difficult parkour for the most part to focus in on the making it difficult to find the way

But at the same time it’s still annoying how difficult it is to find the direction of stuff and something about that mix of yeah it’s not it’s not difficult the parkour itself isn’t difficult but the pathfinder is difficult i feel like doesn’t fit parkour’s very well because like putting it in more

Actually bad but even more like i don’t know terms that i can articulate well um pathfinding falls a bit more under like an intelligence wisdom kind of skill base whereas parkour falls under more of a kind of dexterity kind of parkour sort of deal and i feel like by mixing the two together

It makes it difficult for it to be a parkour map like you’re here for a parkour map you’re likely you know focusing in on more of the dexterity skill based sort of ordeal so then having to kind of shift gears and deal with the i probably wanted to be up there didn’t i

And having to deal with the more intel intelligence skill based is just a really weird shift and wait can you not get up this from here i have to go around is that what you’re telling me if you go back here ah i might as well just restart right

Like i don’t see any point in not i was already all the way back i might as well take the time difference but yeah it just feels like a really weird combination of skills and i get it from the standpoint of oh there was no way to jump to the trees

Anyway i’m kind of mad um i get it from the standpoint of the two skills go really hand in hand together from the standpoint of like they’re they’re both stuff which improves kind of movement based speed like being able to quickly find a path among a mess kind of a wreckage of

Paths you can take is definitely an important skill to going about moving quickly and so is the actual act of moving quickly more frogger stuff um so from that standpoint it makes a lot of sense together i don’t know i’m just a bit conflicted probably legitimately just off the fact that if

Find the shift weird like it’s not even necessarily like i’m bad at the pathfinding it’s more of just a matter of i don’t know because i haven’t dealt with many maps like this that are very um what do you want to bet the cosmetics down there i have to check

I can’t just not check my disappointment is immeasurable my day’s ruined i couldn’t just not check let me take before but yeah it’s just not the sort of thing that i deal with a lot in parkour maps with maps that purposely obscure the path and i feel like there’s an important

Distinction there between maps that just do a bad job of showing which way you’re supposed to go and maps that purposely obscure the path because maps that purposely obscure the path are making a way where they want you to have to overcome a challenge to get past it

Whereas ones that just do a bad job of showing which you’re supposed to be going failed their job of making a map that is easily traversable so i i feel like that’s an important distinction boom we did it 2 minutes and 26 seconds is that my fastest time or did i get

Faster anyway we have done four levels now there are four levels left then i’m going to leave that one a tier this one here once again just leave the room open to do another one and we’ll see but anyway guys i hope you all enjoyed as i said the beginning if you guys
