I am honestly at a loss here. As everyone knows, we had to migrate our Mojang Accounts to Microsoft Accounts in order to keep our access to the game, otherwise it will be lost.
Well, I did exactly that and didn’t have any problems, kept playing, etc…
After a few months of not playing I noticed that the launcher did not have the option to start Minecraft anymore, but to buy it. Quite confused, because the migration initially went well, I contacted support. This is the timeline:
Beginning of June, 2023: I stated my problem in the hopes of maybe finding out of what I could have done wrong. They confirmed my past ownership of the game and said they’ll escalate the issue, I would get an answer in 1 – 3 days.
End of July, 2023: No answer has come yet, I contacted support again, they said they’ll take on the issue themselves, I should hear from them soon.
End of August, 2023: No answer. I contact support again, this time they gave me an e-mail adress for them and me to keep contact. Finally, this specialist kept their promise and answered the same day via e-mail. But the answer was confusing, to say the least (attached above).
During migration the entitlement to the game is not included? How was I supposed to keep the game in the first place?
I answered with patience and understanding, however stated these questions again, and now I am, again, being left in the dark for three days now.
Has anyone else experienced this? I am sorry if this is not the right sub, but I thought if someone knows something it might be here.
