Mind-Bending Witch Farm – Minecraft Madness!

Hey folks it’s ridgar here how you doing i’m hoping that this is actually going live according to my screen it’s going live i see lots of people in the chat in here who we got we got lost in p we got maltese panda we got smoodlini we got mr brumcat

We got jubble williams and everybody is saying that it’s 20 100 there my computer is telling me it’s only 1859 so um yeah i’m not really sure you must be on special german time mr smudellini right what i want to do is i want to take that green dye out of

There i’m going to build a witch farm today at least i’m going to start building a witch farm but i just need to get like a couple of extra bits um to get started on it now i was wondering what to do for a stream because i didn’t really want to like put

Too many spoilers of what we’ve been working on um i have to put some spoilers out but i kind of figured that you know we could do a little bit of stuff so let’s see what we got in here okay that was really bitterly disappointing there’s never anything in here i wanted

A lot more than that still never mind right so we’ve got that one and i’ve got half a spare shovel over here which is not really gonna be enough um yeah i’m building a witch farm because i need some redstone i need quite a bit of redstone me just

Take that one up as well and the last thing i wanted to build for this actually i don’t know what the recipe is for it let’s go and have a look uh we need to go here and we need to go to scaffolding and the rest oh crumbs right

Oh no that’s okay it’s one bamboo for one scaffolding and we don’t need very much string i need two stacks of scaffolding so two stacks of bamboo will be okay for that are you all able to actually see and hear me i really hope that you can actually see and hear me

Because um yeah i i uh the enderman xp farm is like something that i have thought about but i didn’t really want to do it just yet because oh by the way um i have killed all the chickens chickens have been here for ages i slaughtered the lot we were getting lag

Spikes and they were getting quite bad at some at times and i think a lot of that was because the chickens so the chickens have now ceased we will build another chicken farm i just not quite sure when and where we’re going to build it so

That is on the to-do list um the enderman xp firm and hear me fine okay that’s ideal that’s fantastic end of an xp farm yeah we did build an end of an xp farm in the last series that we did um me and sen lotting p

Thank you very much so glad to see a stream again good sir well it’s good to be back i mean streams have often been a struggle for us um for various different reasons um but yeah it is good to be able to do oh i know whether i’m looking for some string

It’s down over here um it is absolutely brilliant to be able to do another stream at least for a little bit let no i don’t need that much do i um it was it was starting to get quite difficult to do streams and it is nice to be back able to do

Some for a little while at least is that gonna be enough i hope it is i hope that is gonna be enough we we will leave it like that we won’t do any more um but yeah it’s um it’s nice to be able to do one again it’s not at the moment

Something that we’re planning to do on a regular basis it’s just kind of like when i’ve got some time and i’m able to go and do it um it’ll be something that possibly will become more regular at some point i just don’t quite know when um the other thing is and uh

Farmer ken bob how’d you do welcome to the stream at the moment i’m not planning to do anything other than stream a bit of minecraft when i’ve got a build that i want to do and today i want to build a witch bum because i need redstone i need large

Quantities redstone for various other builds that i’ve got planned and it’s sort of i’m going to be able to build this one without it interfering with some of the other builds that we want to do uh send might be on a little bit later to come and help us

Out uh do a little bit is this the one yes this is the one this is the one i’m looking for um this is the only witch farm that is anywhere near us this is definitely the one that i’m looking for and huh i just came all this way and i don’t

Have a bed it wasn’t very clever um i’m very sorry sheep i’m gonna have to borrow something from you just for a moment because there is nasty things about to start turning up round here and i don’t really like that do another sheep up there yep there’s one

All right we’ll grab that one there and right so we’ve got three wool and i need an ax let’s just grab i love this mod this is a vanilla tweak that one absolutely absolutely love that bit i may have mentioned that before that i really like that

Let me just very quickly do this and then i shall redirect my attention back to the chat once more uh there there we go that’s what i wanted one of those right let’s put that down and hope that we can sleep uh yes so sen is possibly going to come and join us

At some point um she may be on this evening she might not i’m not really sure i’m just flying away so that if there’s any nasties over there they despawn and we can go back and we can get started on this little thing i want to do so

First we just want to check and see if there are any witches let’s get rid of the light level overlay there we go there actually any witches in here right there’s no witches we got a we got a little pot can i take that one

Oh wait what you mean that that’s the light level overlay right here um it’s one of a set of tweak uh set et cetera tweaks a set of mods that i’ve got there’s tweakaroo there’s light matica there’s mini hud and his item scroller item scroller is brilliant by

The way if you don’t watch this series like i’m just gonna use i’m not gonna click anything i just mouse over that and i scroll my middle mouse button and it just it moves it one at a time and if i press shift it does it a stack at a time if i

Do alt a it just does the whole lot all at once and you just do it with the scroll buttons you’re not endlessly clicking it’s such an amazing thing it really is it’s absolutely wonderful but there’s a whole load of other things such as the light level gamma override which allows

Me to play the game and allows you to see what i’m doing at the same time so it removes that kind of the darkness and also it does remove the um the fog under the water so it gives you a better viewing experience um betty 100

Gaming hello who else have we got i’m ass it’s nice to see such a a good person stream minecraft you haven’t seen my minecraft very much then at the last nether king hi having a little thrift car having a little pot on live on stream

Um well it is that that that pot was fine the pot was fine so stop worrying about the pot right the other thing that i’ve got is this one is light matica and this allows you to make uh blueprints essentially so i’ve got a series of different blueprints right here and the

One that we’re making today i gotta make hang on a minute oh sorry i really needed to yawn right then um so anyway the um like matica right in here i can go and make a blueprint for something in creative and i can figure out all the details of it

And then i can copy it i can make a schematic and i can bring it in here so i’m going to load that schematic right here i actually need a stick to control this one the stick is the magic wand as far as this one is concerned and that’s what i got now

That’s basically because i’ve gone and put a great big slice on to what i’ve kind of got going on here and i need to then figure like i can change the opacity of the blocks to make it a little bit easier and also need to figure out which way round

This is facing so we’re gonna go come here come on fly uh it’s not flying well why aren’t you flying there we go right uh okay so we’re to want to bring it back a bit and then i just kind of need to like figure out which direction

That’s down over this side isn’t it right so i kind of whoop i kind of need to place it down over here and then i need to settle it down into the ground a bit so we’re gonna place oh wait uh i need two why aren’t you changing out there we go

Right add that one and then i want to place it over here like this and then i think there we go right i’m starting to get the hang of this a little bit so that’s water blocks right there so i need to bring it all

This way a little bit like that you can see there i’ve got water blocks in the ground so i want to drop it down a little bit and now we kind of need to just get everything to line up exactly with where the witch hut is and then i

Know that i’ve got the blueprint in the right place so you have to sort of just bear with me a little bit because this is as new to me as it is to you uh right wait a minute i’ve got oh no those those shouldn’t be there the

Problem is i’ve like moved stuff around on the outside edges so that’s all moving over this way and i’ve because i’ve moved stuff around i don’t know exactly where it’s all gonna go uh maybe i’d better look over the other side let’s go and have a look

Uh can i i i i can’t do very much um last nether king and nexus hello welcome let me get over to this side this is a bit that i knew i was going to struggle with this when i made the blueprint i absolutely knew oh okay i see what’s going on i’m

Right i’m way too far over for a start so we kind of need to bring it up that way like that and then go this way and i want to bring the entire contraption that i’ve got you can see in there there’s a bit of contraption that there’s this stuff going on in

There um this this is something that we’re all going to be learning together by the way we’re all going to be learning this together and ignore the shroom lights they don’t count i’m pretty close to where it should be i think looking at the the ground pattern here

So i don’t want that i want that one sort of back over there are you are you a deciding factor right here there’s grass blocks there so if i bring it back that way uh i knew this was gonna be an issue for me i absolutely knew this was gonna be an issue

I knew it i knew it i knew it from the moment i started doing this i knew that i would struggle to find a way to place this thing so that i wouldn’t lose where it all is this is i should have marked it out a little bit better

I’m don’t think that anything needs to change in here i added a load of glass in the blueprint which we can ignore you know i think that’s probably fairly close which means that i know you know what i’m gonna do you know what i’m gonna do rather than messing around with this uh

We are going to go back into the no not load schematics we go here we’re going to go to loaded and we’re going to unload that one right there and just to start off with let’s clear the trees from around the outside if we clear a few of these trees

Out of the way and i’ve got some food here as well oh another one of the twigaroo things that i’ve got going at the moment i think it’s tweakaroo tweak toggle uh silver gamma override hand restock that’s brilliant what that does is it allows you to

Um just keep placing an item and then once the stack runs out in your hand it automatically gets replenished from the rest of your inventory so you don’t have to keep looking around for it absolutely fantastic i love that one uh placement restriction shulker box dis oh the shulker box

Display that’s another really good one generic is it this one that i’m even looking for there is one uh oh wait uh tweak no toggles that’s the one i think disable offhand rendering see i don’t have my loaf of bread showing if i have that one disable

Offhand rendering i love that so then i don’t have that one showing up and i can just sort of get on with everything else that i want to do without having this massive piece of food in the way all the time so let’s just go and gather up the items over here

Can you play real life craft rls i’m assuming real life craft i’m not very good at the whole real life i i i’m not really very good at that one um i can sort of do it um i can kind of muddle my way through it but

No no not really i play that about as successfully as i can play this most of the time and this is mostly through lots and lots of trial and error and um yeah no not much okay uh i’m just going to clear a few of these trees

Away it’s quite noisy is it a bit much with the the noise for the um the breaking of the blocks there i just want to clear the trees out of the way it might make it easier for me to figure out where exactly i got to place this um blueprint

Absolutely knew i was going to struggle with the placing of the blueprint there is another thing that we need to do and that is set up a few furnaces here so that i can um can you lift it up a few levels to make it look more tidy um

What the the actual blueprints i can’t change the level of the blueprint with a witch farm which farm is very much dependent on the exact placement of this hut it’s entirely dependent on the placement of this hut you’ve got to build all of the you can only build it three

Layers and one each of the three layers must include part of that hut if you don’t it won’t work that’s the only place that you can have it because inside that witch hut you can only get witches that spawn anywhere else and all the other mobs

Will spawn as well which is what we don’t want so we have to have it’s got only which is it’s got to be exactly within the perimeter of the witch hut itself and that’s what is going to make it difficult although i suppose i could just make it again because i do

Know i’ve got the blueprint and i can use that for reference maybe we should do that then maybe we should just use the blueprint as a bit of a reference uh right we’ve got if we go into here we have schematic rendering schematic overlay render there’s different right render translucent block

Inner sides false i’m gonna have to sort of learn a little bit about this as we go along so we’ve got info overlays it should allow right i got all layer 2 set layer would that work don’t know they arrange all below all above all right i’m not really sure about that bit

But i thought that there was one that allowed you to like change just um schematic overlay basically change how translucent out there render translucent block in a sides the model sides are also rendered for in a certain in translucent mode okay we’re going to have to learn about

That in a bit and try and learn it together all of us and this might present a problem right here so let me find a building you know what let’s just um turn that into those a minute and then we will place down that one on that side and

Put one down there as well so that’s gonna mark the two outside actually yeah there’s two outside edges i’ll go there so it’s one in front to include the porch for the witch hut and it will go around the back and we will mark the level of the back of the roof

And then we’ll also go here and i have not got any more planks so let’s go into there right that’s the start uh anonymous uh uh anonymous and anonymous i see what you did there hello hello welcome to streams good to see you up to the house of marks dead just just

The log on the corner of the hut in case it damages anything else at the moment i am the reason i’m gathering up all of this is because we’re gonna need to make a few furnaces actually i’ve got the furnaces uh but we need to make some materials for this part

Of the um i want to sort of keep hold of these bits and we can use it all for fuel sticks shrubs everything it can all burn it can it can all go into the furnace okay so we’ve cleared things back a little bit now let’s go

Back into load schematics in here we’ve got the which farm right so i can load that one there now if i go into the menu i’ve got configuration menu it’s not that one that i wanted and i thought there was a way to make this so that it wasn’t quite so

Bright that’s what i want to look at so it’s not in their schematic placements configure uh ignore placement on rename all on all of subregions schematic verifier yes this is new to me i i i don’t know at all rendering on this works doesn’t prevent entity rendering usually you should just

Disable the placement entirely okay we won’t worry about that then uh oh so we can rotate move to player reset no placements no we’re still looking at this huh right okay it doesn’t appear to be the bit that i want in there so now we will try and go through the murky haze

Of the actual one in here mandarin you should consider starting a new play through using rl craft thank you very much for the donation sir very much appreciated um that’s uh I well we sort of talked about doing some other bits but at the moment we’re not really sure like at the moment where we’re kind of just going to stick with ones that we’ve got them uh what we’re doing at the moment because both me and sen we at least have a bit

Of a grasp of basic minecraft um more than that starts to get quite complex and difficult and yeah um we may not necessarily be able to do it now you can see my block is right there so that’s the kind of the important bit that’s the the one that we want to be

Looking at and i need therefore my whole farm to move this way a bit each of these are spawning platforms that we’ve got we’ve got a spawning platform up there and if everything is in the right place there should be i’m gonna go here that might be a bit too high

We may have to bring this down by a layer but i don’t think we do i’ve just brought actually i’ve just brought that up ah we did no that was was that upper layer that was upper layer right well that’s that that is the the right location for it that’s roughly where

It’s got to go that’s where the edge of the spawn platform’s gonna be i actually built this too wide when i did it i went just a fraction too wide on here a slight mistake i didn’t want to change it afterwards though because it seemed like too much like a hard book

Um so i thought you know what i’ll just run with it and you can see right there is the other marker and here’s the outside edge over on this side so that is exactly where we want to place this blueprint which means that i’m going to go out to the

Corner of the blueprint which is right there that’s where the corner marker is and in order to make absolutely certain that it is easy to find that one again we will simply place a block down there like that and then go and get this little bit of dirt over here

I put a couple of extra blocks down there so we’ve got this one right on this corner you can’t quite see it or maybe it doesn’t render all the way up that’s supposed to be a tower that goes all the way up 120 blocks so it might be

111 blocks or something like that so that’s where all of this is going to be which means that we’ve now got to start marking out where the other edges of this is gonna be and i’m gonna do that by having a few logs like this and i’m gonna need to

Right i need to dig a pit this is what we’re gonna this is our first main task is we want to dig a hole and this hole is going to be here like this so that’s going to be the outside edge that’s going to be there so that’s actually that’s not on

The ins yeah uh that’s where the actual hole is so i’m on the inside of it i actually want to get rid of that bit i want to move it over just just a tiny fraction there so we can put this in the right spot

So i go over to there like that so those bits of wood there are on the outside of where our pit is going to go and we will come over here and we will go right down there uh hello ryder crumbs okay chat’s been busy there’s there’s all sorts of people out

This first of all we want to go in here and we want to go to loaded schematics and unload that one there now we got rid of all of that monstrosity everything is in its place which means that the first thing we can do is actually go and get some sleep and

Now that i know exactly where this build has got to go i can remove the witch hut and then we can start digging down inside where this hole is going to be and we oh there is another thing that we need to but there’s actually no point in us starting

That just yet i need to put down some furnaces actually sen could probably do that i’ve got the materials here i’ll um we’ll just ask sen if she’s able to help us out when she does come over well she said she might come over senna’s been really really ill this week

She’s had a really really nasty bad cold um you know not not the sort of cold where you just kind of like you you sneeze a little bit and um runny nose that kind of thing i mean the sort of cold where your chest is filling up with all kinds of nastiness

And you are really coughing and struggling to just generally move around sort of borderline flu not full-on flu flu itself is like a bit nastier than that um so yeah she has she has not had a good time of things lately but she did say that she might come over

And help us out a bit she was feeling up to it right and clear that one and that one actually i can get rid of these as well now because we’re just going to rely on the location of the pit for our blueprints i’m hoping that we can rely on that and

Right thus all of the materials picked up then what i was going to do is let’s first off let’s go and get our from up here because we want a crafting area a little bit closer uh thank you yes frithgar can you turn off your microphone and stop disturbing us in chat

Brilliant absolutely brilliant um unfortunately no i can’t people people expect me to talk i don’t know why i really can’t understand it so many people spend their lives trying to get me to shut up and i get other people turn around and start asking me to actually talk

It’s quite bizarre really is like um yeah there’s a singular mixture of strange goings on here so i’ve got oh actually i’ve got there’s a preview i think this is one of the tweakaroo things it allows you to look into the um shulker boxes that you’ve got

So this is the materials that we’ll be using i’ve got the concrete i’ve actually got concrete powder which we then need to turn into concrete so i’ve gone for a magenta theme for most of this thing and now where did i put them i oh they’re in that one right let’s

Place that one down here then for a minute and we’ve got some furnaces right there and then we’re going to go and just place these out two three oops like that yeah i know i’ve missed a few don’t really matter we don’t need that many of them it’s probably a little bit excessive

Already anyway and we will pop those into there so i’ve got some oak logs in here we will start turning those into actual charcoal we’ll stick some saplings in there uh we’ll stick some saplings in there uh let’s i’ve got half a stack for you i’ve got a stack for you and

I think the rest of it is just going to be we’ll just dump in some of this other stuff and use it for fuel like that and then all right that’ll probably do there’s a bit more fuel in there fences should i put in no i actually i’m

Probably gonna want one of those crafting tables so i’m gonna put that one down over here down there like that all right let’s let’s put two down just so that we’ve got matching matching ones um man he loves him some coffee me too farmer ken bob

And we are really enjoying it um so we’re kind of like we’ve got various different builds and stuff that we’re wanting to do in here and so if we’re doing something sort of quite big then i may end up like live streaming some of it just to give people something to watch

Turn it into smooth stone because that’s what i actually like i’d like to have some smooth stuff and then i can make a whole load because i don’t know if you paid any attention to the top of the witch hut it’s like quite big it’s all stone slabs so i’d like to like

Get a whole load of stone slabs made so that we can go and put those over the top at least that’s the plan let’s move on round this way dig straight down like a normal person i seen ryder digging straight down and just recently actually i’ve seen ryder digging straight down

Well sen’s digging over there isn’t mods that’s vanilla minecraft that is just minecraft the the mods that we’ve got are fairly limited actually i’ve got like the tweakaroo stuff so that i can do i’m about to show you here actually so i’ve got some we got a bit of charcoal going on here

Um now i’m just if i just scroll with the mouse scroll button right there put 10 of those in there that’s a mods and that’s called uh item scroller there’s some links in the discord to all of these and i absolutely love them i think they’re fantastic absolutely beautiful wonderful set of

Mods they really are um so okay there’s there’s nothing else that i really want to put through this at the moment we just we kind of need to get a load of stone going in here don’t we let’s let’s put in a bit of charcoal in there and

Over there uh ryder was playing with mods the other day uh yesterday when i watched him over on okay no i definitely don’t have to do that though i want to keep that one um i do have a texture pack on here which is obviously it’s a bit

Texture packs are a bit different to mods so um yeah i feel this vanilla but not the same time do you ever worry about a cave in i don’t generally worry about caves in cave-ins but yeah the whole bit where sen is digging with the shovel right there she’s got this

Shovel efficient c5 and silk touch and that is pure vanilla minecraft there is nothing extra about that my texture pack is a faithful 64. it’s basically standard minecraft but with a lot more detail excuse me um yes standard minecraft but with a lot more detail and i actually really prefer

This kind of texture over the basic minecraft ones some people do prefer the basic minecraft stuff um me personally i’m actually i much prefer this kind of appearance to the basic stuff so um but that’s just a texture pack that’s not like a lot of people don’t even class mods uh

Texture packs as mods as such not really um so yeah you kind of call it what you like really i guess um the the mods that i use don’t alter the gameplay very much i guess like the the moving moving around things i’ve got a gamma overlay so that

Uh it keeps everything nice and bright even when it’s dark it does mean that i can’t um c when it’s dark so that’s why i use uh this light level and that way i can see so that block there if it’s got yellow square on it it

Means that a mob can spawn on there when it gets dark and if there isn’t a yellow square on there like that one there for whatever reason oh because there’s a torch up there i guess or torch torch somewhere um nothing can spawn on that square right there

I know nothing can spawn on that square so there’s a few here that are just far enough away from the torches right there um but i’ll i usually keep that off the the gamma overlay thing is actually quite useful at times in it it’s more useful i think for streaming and making videos

You can’t at least you can’t crash into trees in this game mr feed guy gaming allow me to prove you wrong right we go off for a bit of a fly using a rocket like this yep and boom yeah who says i can’t crash into a tree

Yes you absolutely can crash into a tree in this game see and send can do it as well although she’s just kind of like flying around and showing off but yes you absolutely can definitely crash into a tree in this game got to do it wrong

Watch him do just that even without a track yep that absolutely excuse me all right let’s start putting through some more is that all i got right i gotta i gotta pop down a chest to get rid of i’m sure i’ve got some chests here scent uh oh there we go right

Double uh i’ll put down a double chest we’ll chuck down something over here like that and then i can start chucking in some of these materials right here uh i’ve got i don’t know why i brought emeralds over i need those here lily pad cauldron gravel light gray wool i’ve got excessive quantities

Of other stuff i got a bit of raw mutton there from when i was killing those sheep so we’ll go and pop that into a cooker here i can go in on top of that one right and we get a bit of sleep uh gotta watch out for that flying maple

An f cloud for fritz um yeah you can pretty much land any way you like in this one i can’t remember how deep this thing’s got to be i’ll tell you what let’s go over this way and i will place down the blueprint it’s got to go right on that square right there

And now we can see if i go into load schematics which farm there that right i put it there and now i need to oh i know what i can do so we’re underneath it at the moment it’s like underneath where the picture

Of it is and then if i pop in here you can see underneath it we just lower everything down get it into place that’s the theory there we go why you’ve moved well i guess it doesn’t really matter if it’s moved like that i just kind of need to get it to

Roughly i think that’s roughly the right height yeah is that too low or too high you can see a witch there on the bottom of it i think that’s actually gone i think i went a little bit too far there right uh about right something like that so let me

Dig down okay we’ve definitely got to go down a little bit lower if i pop over to the you know what i’m just going to use the flying duda over here and then i can use this bit to set it right over here i don’t know why i didn’t think of this before

Thomas gilpin i’ve been watching for like 10 minutes what are you doing uh i am building a witch farm that’s the plan today we’re just digging out a big hole at the moment and this is going to take a while but we’ve at least the end is in sight because we know how

Deep we got to go now we know exactly how deep that we got to go with this thing i’m just going to randomly dig around for a little bit like that once we’ve dug the hole out we’ll have a much better idea of exactly where the placement

For the um which farms got to go i think i had it spot on perfect but if i didn’t it won’t really matter because we’ve got the hole to kind of guide us so although this hole is kind of where the the thing needed to be originally and now we don’t know where

The witch hut was so yeah this is exactly where it’s going to go so regardless regardless of whether this is actually the right one this this is where it’s going to go so uh we will just have to hope that it it it ends up all right

I spend a lot of time hoping in this game this is my style of playing i just just kind of like do everything on hope and a prayer and then leave it at that why always well i get the gravel at the moment because we don’t have any um gravity block duping

Device of any kind so we kind of just like assume that uh we will want the gravel and everything that we dig out we can always fill it back in later be right back no worries dude no worries we ain’t going anywhere this bit over here

Right there how many layers down are we i’m sitting on y53 right here there’s a long way down oh that’s another thing that i’ve got it’s a mini hud i’ll show you that there many huds we so i like info b count biome i got the

Biome one it shows me right there up in that top corner but i can have a whole load of different information showing up in the top corner of all kinds including whether or not we’re on a slime chunk which is a really useful thing to have it doesn’t

Always work though because you have got to input the seed and sometimes it doesn’t it’s not like entirely accurate i’ve noticed um but yeah i find this mini hud one to actually be really useful there’s all kinds of information you can do on that one um what was another one

It was another oh another tweak that i had was a a thing for the nether um where it removes the um you know the fog in the nether removes that one as well which i thought was really good uh what else we got lord frithgar i really want to know the

Secret of how you keep talking while playing and recording is there any advice for any youtubers um i think he has auto drivers yeah you gotta get autodrive your tongue mate that’s about the only way um i i’m i’m fairly talkative um i’ve always found this a bit odd because

People around me you know like my parents and and other people they spent like the first two years of my life trying to get me to talk and have then spent the following 38 years trying desperately to get me to shut up but nope nope they they signed they signed their own fates

That it was all signed sealed and delivered when they first taught me to talk if they they spent two years trying to get me to talk because i was a bit slow starting to talk so i feel i’ve still got to make up for lost time

It was all those words that i could have said that i didn’t and now i have to make up for it but it’s literally um what would be a way to practice it if you’re not very good see i can just like rabbit on endlessly about nothing fairly effortlessly i’m i’m pretty good

At doing that but i’d say if you’re not good at just like talking um i don’t know what you could do uh i don’t know what you could do if you’re out in your car or go for ride on your bicycle something like that narrate yourself literally just

Tell yourself what you’re doing talk yourself through it everything that you’re doing all right talk out loud talk to yourself and yeah if you’re going along in a car people will hopefully just assume that you’re talking on a phone um however if you’re riding along on a bicycle and

Talking to yourself or you know walking along and talking to yourself like that people may possibly phone the authorities and have you um quietly and carefully led away so that you can’t hurt anybody anymore um but you just have to hope that that doesn’t happen snake and cactus

Different and i’ve always struggled with live streams but yeah that’s that’s kind of why i wanted to slowly do a little bit and i just chill out while i’m playing not worry quite so much because the thing i’ve noticed i’ve watched a few videos um i’ve been watching some

Minecraft youtubers actually um they’re like mumbo jumbo ill mango um some of the uh izuma he’s also on the hermitcraft stuff and a couple of the other sidecraft members as well so kind of like the technical minecrafters the ones that do a lot of redstone stuff i quite like watching their stuff and

Oh yeah i remember that when i was digging this out on the um on my creative version there’s a there’s a cave here somewhere yeah oh and also uh so no no it’s not sam playing the piano since not very musical i used to play the piano

And our son plays piano a little bit but uh sends not so much into the the whole playing music she she’s very good at she she does like music she enjoys music but she’s not really someone that would play music she doesn’t have the patience for it she does plenty of other stuff

Um i want to have a look in here if you go to load schematics right there which farm material list in here lava bucket there’s one lava bucket in the list of items and the reason there’s a lava bucket is because there was a bit of lava behind one of

The walls from where i selected the entire schematic that’s why it’s got lava right there uh having sent join you in minecraft has been a joy on my end as he contributes on any of your other series um no she i mean at the moment i i kind of like dialed back

Some of the other stuff that we that i was doing on the channel like i was doing uh three videos a day and i’ve i’ve wound that back um so that me and sen can focus a bit more on doing the minecraft um we’ve both had various issues with mental health over

The years and sen has been going through a particularly rough time um and it’s really been helping her with playing minecraft with me and and doing something because as a lot of you know sen suffers from um some quite serious health problems she has multiple cirrhosis she has sarcoidosis she has a fairly

Serious heart problem um and also a few other bits and pieces as well which generally make her life pretty uncomfortable and pretty miserable for a large chunk of the time playing minecraft has sort of given her a bit of purpose of late um because it’s not

Just playing a game it’s not just sort of waiting for people to turn up to do things with her when she can’t do anything she’s actually able to actively participate in something that is useful where it feels useful because it’s not just playing it we’re also doing this to make our videos

And that’s giving her a much more of a purpose and so i stopped doing the i i stopped doing the um oh what was i doing it was the dyson sphere program i was i was doing that one every other day and factorio every other day

And i wound up the dyson sphere program series and stopped doing that one and i haven’t started doing anything else in its place to give myself and sen more time to do this together so when if and when we do another live stream or two it will be for

This game as opposed to anything else so that same can come out and join in as well what was that santa you playing with creepers again pretty sure i just heard a kabloom i can see her over there i can see the um yeah playing with creepers again she’s

Lighting up the cave in underneath with the blueprint i don’t know if you’ve seen it’s like 120 blocks in the air it went straight up with scaffolding and the idea with that is that you afk up on the top so in theory the caves over that way

She’ll go through and light them all up send likes going through and like exploring all the caves and and getting everything out of them um so she’ll go through and she’ll throw torches down all the way through them she finds it quite relaxing to just sort

Of chill out and go through and do that bit um once they’re all lit up though it’s it’s quite safe then we don’t need to worry about anything spawning but we don’t need to worry too much about lots of things being lit up for this

How long has it been since you did a live stream uh muhammad will go for a short time we’ll be back soon nice to see you here sir and um how long is it i i don’t know i think we stopped doing live streams it was sometime sometime last year i think

Um they were getting increasingly difficult and then sen went through a particularly bad time um unfortunately her sister passed away and it was her young sister as well which was made it well worth all anything but anyway as you can imagine it was extremely rough um so yeah we we were already

I’d already stopped doing streams by that point anyway and um yeah that was kind of like that’s one of the reasons that we decided definitely not to go back to doing them at least for some time and now we’re just kind of like testing the waters a bit that’s all it is uh

Gerbil williams i own a saxophone or a drum kit but my wife doesn’t let me play them yeah you have to come up with some sort of deal where you you you you got it you got to come up with a deal there um threatened you could always say look

It’s either me or the kids one of us has got to play these things we could always encourage children’s musical responsibility responsible we could always encourage the the children’s um sort of musical abilities and you know see how they get on with it and i’m pretty sure she’s going to be

Keener for you to try it than to let the kids do it i mean i could be wrong you could just end up having to give your drum kit and your saxophone to your kids um but it’s worth a shot might work i don’t i don’t really know i i’m i’m not i’m

Let’s just go into there oh um that’s another thing where only one of us has got to uh sleep in the bed at night that’s a vanilla tweak that one is that’s uh there’s a website called vanilla tweaks and there’s a whole load of them and they’re absolutely brilliant

I can’t remember who it was at first suggested them but they are awesome and that’s one of the vanilla tweaks where all you’ve got to do is one person go to sleep you can set it as well so you can have a percentage of people who need to sleep

In order to activate sleeping so you don’t all have to scramble to a bed to go to sleep and it just makes life so much easier when you’re trying to sort stuff out for the evening um or you know like one of you is busy building stuff one of you

Like at the moment sen is in a cave and lighting stuff up so she’s got no idea of his daylight or otherwise and she probably doesn’t have a bed with her so you know it kind of makes a difference uh not seen that one yet last ones were in the end uh

Actually okay so yeah spoiler alert i’m running around with another right pickaxe we do go to the nether and we get a little bit of nether right we don’t get very much but you probably noticed the near the right leggings as well uh we found enough to do that so

Free camera this is one of the tweakaroo things so it basically works very similar to spectator mode except that with spectator mode your character moves around so you can go wherever you want but then when you come out of spectator mode you’re in the new location

With free cam you can’t do that your character stays there and then you look around so all i’m doing is i’m just looking underground a second because i want to just double check where my wife has run off to my wife has run off and left me

And she’s been very very busy with all the kate okay how far have you gone oh good grief see she gets carried away this is what scent does she gets carried away with going through the caves and how did you get all the way over here seriously there she is

Oh wow okay uh i’m i’m officially impressed that is insane okay and then turn the free camera off so it’s got a very very long way that was absolutely brilliant um audience you don’t need right that is seriously impressive probably thought you were so busy talking uh you wouldn’t notice she had gone

The last 15 minutes nope nothing essential i’m not actually planning to say anything essential or important throughout this entire live stream this is just to chill out and do a bit of digging that was all i kind of wanted to do was like switch on the camera while i was making

The switch farm just have a bit of a chat while i’m doing it because and i’ll do this occasionally i think that’s that’s kind of the plan is i’m going to like if i’ve got a big builder i’m working on and i’m doing a bit kind of like this where you know

There’s there’s quite a lot to do it’s fairly straightforward it’ll allow me to be able to have a chat and at the same time like start working on a build as well so it’s not like i wouldn’t do all of this in just a normal video because it would

Get a little bit dull but and the point of the live stream is not necessarily to do something that’s like massively entertaining it’s to give me a chance to be able to have a chat with you all at the same time i i’m gonna dig out that coal oh okay

All of those pieces that we had right in there and this is the last layer once we’ve done this i can actually start placing down some and stuff so in theory i should be able to put the blueprint in place and then i should be able to it should be

Lined up with the floor in here and i can start putting in i’m going to put the floor in first and i’ll put a little bit of the build in as well and then i can turn the blueprint off because i’m fairly familiar with most of it now there should be a

Way to render one layer at a time but i’m still very new to how like mataka works so i might not be able to do that in which case i’ll just turn it off uh smitallini yeah you could do all this in time-lapse dude i was doing some earlier i mean i was

Doing some other editing earlier i actually finished editing um the farming simulator time-lapse today not this week’s next week’s this week’s has already uploaded on to youtube and waiting for sunday um but the next week’s ones i actually finished it today i normally don’t finish it until

Monday evening but i’m a little bit ahead this week quite a piece of that and then after that i was doing a little bit more minecraft in minecrafty and stuff and i uh started on another well not started i was doing some more work on another build that

Uh myself and 10 have been working on and i got a little bit more of that done we’ve actually i’ve actually started working on the actual technical bit now we’ve dug a big hole and now we’re starting to work on the technical bit on that as well

So i’m hoping that’s going to turn out into a fairly reasonable i i think it’s going to turn out to a very reasonable time-lapse um it’s the last the last layer yeah there’s more than one layer i you had me confused there for a minute smootho you have me genuinely confused

Um every time your voice drops a little i think the video is coming to an end i’m waiting for the names list um yeah i will there won’t be a names list on this one actually it won’t yeah i don’t like i don’t know if there’s a way that i

Could play the names list afterwards or not but i don’t think there is oh if you want to see the great book of names list and you don’t ever watch any of my actual youtube videos you always go to the discord every name is on there it’s all entered in uh okay right

So i’m just trying to this is an exceptional event it’s live stream so i thought maybe this time maybe this time what though i could do all of this in time-lapse um well yeah i i i could but i figured i’d do it in live streams instead

I can’t do both actually i suppose i could i don’t know sen might be recording this with her replay although she’s at the moment so far away oh there she is hi sen um she was so far away that uh her replay wouldn’t be recording what we’re doing over here so

Um she may or may not have gotten it uh right if sen is able to remove a few of the trees around here right maybe this time you would concentrate and do or say something of consequence um nah i’m not likely to do or say anything of consequence

That that is that is highly unlikely and also highly irregular now there is one i’ve just got to make sure that i have definitely got this down to the right layer so let’s go over to our little stand over here and we will drag up our schematic

Right there and then we will place it on that block right there and we will scroll it down like this okay it wants to go one two i think that is the exact right spot right that actually looks like it’s the right spot except that i do need to go down one

More layer because this is the glass layer underneath me yeah okay so we’re gonna go down one more layer and then all of that will be put in correctly so i’m gonna go to uh no actually i want to unload that one there we go okay one

More layer and then i can put a layer of glass down so i just take out all of this all the way around and then i gotta go and the first thing that we will do is we put a layer of glass all across the floor and the reason

That we want a layer of glass all across the floor is so that it stops anything unpleasant from spawning in here the very last thing that we want is anything nasty to go and spawn in here we only want witches to spawn in the middle on the actual

Platform where the witches are supposed to spawn and hopefully they won’t turn up anywhere else has sen changed her skin hello snow fox by the way welcome to the stream um yeah sen has and sort of eye look we showed it earlier but basically we’ve i’ve got this one now follow the dot

Follow the dots i will obey anyway i’ve got uh a robin hood skin and santa’s got a made marion skin so um we weren’t entirely happy with neither of us were entirely happy with the skins that we had so sam went and had a little hunch

Around and she found robin hood and made we did think about having like a zelda and link outfit but i mean we both got when we got married we did a robin hood themed wedding um so we decided to go for that we decided to go for the whole robin hood made

Marion thing because um it’s sort of quite it’s more personal to us um so yeah that’s that’s what we decided to do and uh these will be the skins that we go for sort of these will be the ones that we keep now for a little while

Um well i say a little while probably permanently we will probably permanently keep these skins it will now forever be robin hood and mate marion i haven’t seen any major problems on your health after three years three years i don’t know what the three years is

Um do you have a gold helmet here i’ll show you something it’s actually really cool there’s another tweak that makes golden helmets appear as crowns and so if we can have sen put on a golden helmet oh i know um just to show you with your crown that

Was all i know we can do because and i flew over here earlier just to double check that i was in there it is over here there’s a huge great big ruined portal over here i forgot about this one it might be okay it’s a bit toasty there uh there

Might be something in here we’ve got a golden chest plate with the curse of vanishing in we’ve got a golden axe we’ve got a golden sword we’ve got a fire charge flint and steels there’s gold there there’s gold there there’s gold there there’s there’s all sorts

With this one right so what i’ll do then is if i grab the gold block actually just grab that gold block as well and yo let’s let’s just get the good let’s get the juicy stuff just just for a second let’s let’s get rid of the lava there

They fall down in there and they become number 25 and that’s too many and so the entity cramming mechanic kicks in and kills them off and that’s what i really really like about this build so there is no complex kind of killing floor at all it is just

24 mine carts all stacked one on top the other and i think it is 24 mine carts but if we go to the material list i think it oh no it doesn’t hide available refresh clear ignored no i thought that it it doesn’t actually show the minecarts as part of the build

These would look a lot cleaner kind of like the texture that i have for the rest of it but the vanilla tweak bit just puts a little arrow on the sides which i find to be incredibly useful because it’s not just if you look underneath you can see

The direction the hopper is facing and that’s really quite handy however let’s just take a bounce up here if you look in the top you can also have a look down and i can see an arrow in the top now normally you’ve got no idea which way a hopper is facing

When you’re using it you abs there’s absolutely no way to tell so this vanilla tweak to my mind is absolutely amazing it’s brilliant and i genuinely feel that this is something that should be in the base game i do not understand why that directional arrow is

In here i remember now it’s got to be there to stop the water from dropping down into the bottom it does make perfect sense can i no i can’t get up on top there right that’s fine i probably shouldn’t have picked magenta um glass to do this with because it

Makes it quite difficult to see what’s glass and what isn’t because of the the way the rendering on this thing works it definitely makes this a little bit tricky to see what’s going on but i do need ones i did wonder why but we’ve got a spruce sign so we’ll use that one

Instead of the requested so we’ll put that one in there and then we’ll put a sign right in here i tell you what i tell you what uh if i press escape oh it doesn’t like stop it i’m gonna let you choose what is written

On that sign i’m gonna put that so i’ve got another one right here we’ll put a sign there in a minute and i will let you choose you’ve got about a minute to get into the chat and tell me something interesting to um you know i picked out magenta before

I realized about the whole um mohammed yes i was so confused why he uses glass i i picked out the magenta color before i started like using the like mataka thing i was just kind of like building up the witch farm to start with to like figure it out but

Anyway i’m going to let you guys choose what is written on the sign so come up with some suggestions of what we can write on the sign right there the witches fall down into this area here this will be covered with water and then they get pushed towards this bit

And they fall to their doom so what are we right on the sign right there to encourage them to step forward to meet their maker um come up with some ideas please let’s let’s let’s see what we can put in there right in the meantime i’m gonna go up another layer and

Put down a little bit more it’s very exciting stuff this isn’t it one layer at a time so why have i got glass out that way oh what’s that say this is where i’m just generally confused about everything i’ve got extra glass out over this way because

Yeah that’s actually it is supposed to be there i’ve just got an extra layer over here for some reason i think it was because of some extra stuff that i’ve got over this side and i wanted to stop anything from being able to spawn

So i am going to fill this in now and then we will cover in all of that we’ll make sure that everything underneath is filled in as well and we’ll just sort of build some steps up around the outside let’s move on over here uh right this is why i needed six

Walls because they actually come up higher on this than i remembered i thought was just three on each side okay we’re going to there uh which farm which one from blonde lizards mohamed badawi is suggesting that we put in there go into this one or you’re going to be forced to get married

And i went and made some magenta concrete beforehand i you know it was a here’s one i prepared earlier type situation but what i haven’t done is i’ve only got i’ve only got magenta concrete powder i haven’t actually turned into concrete yet unfortunately the only way to turn it into concrete

Is to place it in water and then dig it up again so it’s a little bit of a time-consuming process it’s a little bit tedious but um yeah it’ll be fine so we’re gonna have to go and just get a little bit of that if i go

64 magenta powder now the thing with the powder some of you may not know about this let’s just have one of these blocks of iron a minute and i can just do it in here we will do that and there right but you know what let’s just make a couple of buckets

While we’re at it change you over okay it’ll do actually i don’t need the stick to i don’t need to hold stick at the moment the stick is really useful you need that for schematics for like placing them it’s that it’s the magic wand for doing different things

Um but we don’t need to worry about it at the moment so anyway uh we’ll take a bucket of water now what you have is magenta concrete powder for those of you who are not familiar with playing minecraft i know a lot of you are so this is a

This is a gravity block right so gravity block you place it down like that there it drops down yeah if you want to turn this into actual concrete you’ve got to have water up against it now i don’t want to plant water here it’s going to wash all these torches away so

I’m just going to do that and place that down and then you have water and you put it in there and any water that is adjacent will then turn into any any concrete powder that’s adjacent will then turn into actual um concrete instead of just being concrete powder right let’s just

Empty out that bucket right over there and then we can pick up the concrete powder just here like this let’s pick those two up i’ll just put uh wait a minute down there like that i don’t want the water bucket so i’m gonna want the water buckets in a while so that’s why

I went and got them and then we can mine these up like this and so then we’ve got them so there’s a couple different ways you can do it you can build a factory that will allow this to be placed down into water or you can place

It down yourself so if i go and place this down here like this in some water like that it will actually then immediately turn into concrete or you place it down where you want it to be and then you put water down over the top of it

There’s another way that you can do it but where i’m doing it in this particular build i don’t want to do that and i would rather have it like this now i’ve seen quite a few of the technical youtubers that i like to watch making factories that generates like you

Have a way of placing down a whole load of concrete powder with an afk player and then you move the resulting concrete blocks that you get like this you move them along and then uh you run them through a tnt jupiter and blow them up

And it seems to be a very very effective way of getting the concrete powder turned into actual concrete which you then can go and use so i will ultimately end up doing something similar because i want to be able to use concrete because it’s such a vibrant thing the terracotta is nice

You can go and use that as pattern terracottas as well the glazed terracottas those those are nice and they look all right uh wool is nice as well but it’s not particularly durable at times whereas concrete look how bright and vibrant the color is on it it’s wonderful i love it

A big blur cavall uh no idea pio hanson so is the ac dc classic on the highway to hell um yeah but i mean don’t get me wrong there are plenty of women who would be very pleased to have the um classic highway to hell being played

For their wedding and i’m friends with quite a lot of them um but yeah it’s not generally considered to be one that’s widely popular though is it let’s let’s let’s be honest there are quite a few people that wouldn’t really go for that um look at this color

Look at that look look at it it’s absolutely brilliant so i’m gonna be doing a lot of stuff as we progress through my whole minecraft series that we’re slowly getting into um we will be doing a lot of stuff that does involve concrete so we’re gonna eventually

Build a large machine that will make lots of concrete and because we’re planning to make lots of concrete we will need lots of sand and gravel in order to do it and so eventually at the moment we’re kind of okay for digging up sand and gravel when we need

It to go and make our builds but we will eventually get fed up with doing that so we will at some point build a gravity block jupiter which basically the gravity blocks which is the different types of concrete powder and sand and gravel you build a machine that will then dupe those

Blocks so that you don’t have to have uh just the standard ones just wiggling around here and pick those up before they despawn uh so yeah you’re not sort of stuck with just the the standard ones right that’s what i want to do here i need to have

I’m going to remove this i think because i’ve got glass in under there did i have a wall out this side let’s do that all right gotta fill that bit in and then i’ll come down over here and we can basically come out to the side on here

If i jump up over this way a little bit and then i can just inch out to the side a little bit like this there come one up like that and up like that i’ll take this off and then we need to go and sleep again we’re just getting to the interesting

Part of the build now i’m going to be running out of time soon i can’t go much past 10 o’clock so i’ve only got about half an hour left 10 o’clock is really going to be about as late as i could go i should think there’ll be three hours of streaming i

Normally only do well i used to only do two hours um go to field drink milk um yeah i do need to drink milk to get rid of that the bad omen i think it lasts for about three hours if i um but it’s only if i go near a village

As long as i just stay here i’ll be absolutely fine um but i i will i will get to it at some point right if i only got eight blocks here that should be enough but we’ll come out onto this bit just here like that and there we go again

Right if i take this up another layer there we go now we can start to see the actual build that we’re getting to so this is where we need a bit more of the technical stuff so we’ve got uh pistons down the side over here we’ve got repeaters we’ve got railway track

Down the back over there uh there’s these layers in here as well and then that moves out over the side we’ve got glass that comes out around the edges just here so i’ll start putting the glass in first like that’s a little bit difficult to see the glass

Isn’t it it’s not the easiest thing to see i am glad that i went and put glass in the bottom first because when i first built this up in Wait what’s that oh that’s another that’s a line of concrete there that’s a line of concrete when i first built this up in uh creative when i was uh just like figuring out what to do with this one and how to build it there was like because this is a swamp i

Didn’t have glass on the bottom and there was slime spawning in there and it was a bit of a jolly nuisance i can tell you that for nothing there there were slimes everywhere and they were a real pain they kept getting in the way of everything i was trying to do

So kind of glad that we’ve gone and built it up like this let’s move along over here like this i’ll build up this layer and then i’ll explain how this farm works its magic all right let’s put another block of glass out there so we can stand on it

I think and then we just stand down here and do this bit there we go across here like this as another i don’t want you there just in case that is wrong oh i see i haven’t put the glass out there like that that’s why it went through

A bit difficult to see sometimes i really do love this whole blueprint thing but it is a little bit difficult to accurately see where the placements are up through there i’ve got a line of glass because i built this one too wide and this line right here is

We don’t basically we don’t want anything spawning on this line because it’s outside of the boundary of the witch hut and if i put a line of concrete down through there then i ended up getting other mobs spawning on it and it breaks the machine we don’t want it to do that um

More streaming um i’ve quite enjoyed myself tonight i must admit it’s been quite nice being able to do this just sort of kick back i’m not feeling much pressure to like do anything in particular just generally chill out but that was kind of like my plan here was not to

Do anything in particular not to go at it with set goals stuff that has to be done and so on and so forth just chill out and start working on this build i love playing minecraft i really do enjoy this game and so like just being able to

Start relaxing and playing the game is quite nice um yeah i’m sorry that i don’t fully understand how to use light mattica which is the mod that we’re using at the moment um but yeah you know that’s that’s just the way it is isn’t it we’re kind of like learning together on

That one uh okay something else that i need to place there i need to get those bits now get those a minute just over there right we want uh powered rails we want standard pistons is it standard pistons yeah so where’s the sticky pistons go oh i know where the sticky pistons go

Don’t worry i know where they go and i also want that one right there soul sand we need a line of soul sand in this thing as well so we’ll just jump down you know what let’s take that one off there right now we come over here so

The way that this thing works this is a shifting floor design it’s basically what we’ve got here put that in there uh okay i go really slow when i’m on the soul On the soul sand it’s ridiculously slow right so yeah this is a shifting floor design and what basically happens is that when a witch spawns on here there will be a trigger that will cause those to move just the line that the witch is on there will be a trigger that will

Cause it to move when it does it will go backwards and forwards now the thing is with this if you look at the soul side like if i go sideways now See i step down step down step up it’s because the soul sound is actually slightly smaller than the adjacent block and when you activate this moving floor bits it ah forgot about that all right basically if you middle click Over an item it will bring it to the bar so that you can use it which is actually pretty cool but yeah it activates the shifting floor and then uh the witches that they’re standing on here and so it moves over a block and then it moves back again

And that causes the witches to glitch in between the soul sand and the full size block next to it and so then they drop down and so you can do that you have that basically so we have three layers that we can build up with this shifting floor thing and then the witches

They will be able to go through those three layers and it doesn’t matter if they spawn at the very top or at the bottom each layer they get to it will quickly activate it will quickly trigger and then they will drop down to the next layer below

And so and so on and so forth until they reach the very bottom and then they get flushed by the water stream along over this way through the bit over there and then to that sign where they then have to make a choice between staying put and getting married or dropping into

The um crammed minecarts and meeting their untimely demise it’s a simple decision that they need to make and most of them will make the decision to step forth now which way round do i place these uh first we’ll go in here um how to see glass it seems not only them

But our lord but yeah but let’s find it hard to see glass um as well as me yeah we all find it difficult to see the glass there we go see you can start to see a real difference now that i’m starting to place down all the different components

It becomes easier to actually see what the different bits are that we’re putting in here so if i middle mouse click on that one because it’s the item that i’m after i’ve actually got to set that on tick number two that there if you see there and this is what is beautiful

About this blueprint thing is it does actually have all of that remembered for you which is amazing and then this side you don’t actually need to change it at all just have it like this right there just place them in and then we can go to here

And i can put down the powered rails like that there right that’s that layer done so we can go in here uh yes right so this is the next bit this is where we need a load of observers we need some more glass some glass layers over here this is the

Bit that i did too much of as well so we’ve got to put a load of glass down on top of this uh so let’s have magenta stained glass in here and jump up a little bit so if we put down the magenta stained glass first like this

Right the way across and nothing else can get in the way of us while we’re building up the rest of this stuff i’ve done all that starting to be able to see things a little bit more clearly here i can see clearly now uh there’s there’s another thing with the twigaroo actually i

I could i can use on this i can’t actually because i don’t know how to use it yet but in theory i can use it and what it allows you to do let’s go and get that it’s getting dark i need to go uh this way anyway so i’m gonna

Get some sleep uh what the tweakaroo thing allows you to do is it allows you to place blocks diagonally out or down unfortunately i don’t know exactly how to do it but what you can do is you can look at the top of that one and you can

Place that block out over there which is without having to do the intermediate one which is just brilliant that is just an amazing wonderful thing that i would like to be able to do but it’s not something that we’ve got uh let me just have a quick look on the chat in here

All of them will step forward i was wondering about how frithkar can place blocks in a row where he wants in minecraft seeing him try to spread fertilizer inside field teaching instead this is different though i’m not trying to drive a tractor while i’m doing this bits

There if i don’t have anything on that block well i don’t know we will find out that no at some point i have no doubt we need to go along like this up to here so these trapdoors are quite important we have to make sure that we’ve got

Plenty of those in there and then down through here actually got glass down through here like this so let’s go there that one that one and that one now the trapdoors let’s place these in how does that nope that way right gotta go that way so i want to go yeah

That’s it like that there we go and they got to go on every layer down through here like this so just come up through there like that and then once we put them in place then we can lift them all up like that it’s like playing um you remember what’s

I’ve got to do the observers next and which way round you place observers it’s a bit that i always forget right so to place the observer i need to great i need to be looking up to place the observer that’s gonna it’s actually a bit more difficult isn’t it i need to stand

Underneath and i need to place the observer looking upwards what’s the next layer because these ones over here these ones are fine i can do those into the side there’s another observer up there and then the rails go on top of that and that’s the sticky pistons one upside

Down there on top of those so we kind of want to put the sticky we want to put that layer on first remember correctly about this so we want to do the sticky piston layer up there so what we’ll do is we’ll we’ll put in a

Bit of temporary block on this one to enable us to do that so let’s just shift the soul sound out of the way and we will bring the sticky pistons in there and then we will put down a glass block over here and another one over here

Then we will go up like that and we’ll drop down here right so there’s the first bits now if i take an observer and place it up like that is that the way that they’re facing though climb back up here yes that is the way that they’re facing i don’t think it

Actually matters just as long as they are up like that this is the only crucial part of it is they need to be in the up position like that and to get the next ones in this is where i would like the tweak-a-roo bits because i can’t place them up high

Enough i can’t place them directly above me i might be able to get in close like this yes right so what i want to do is i want to look up like that and then i want to back out here it’s quite difficult actually surprisingly so i went into there there

And there is where i find out i’ve actually done it all completely wrong let’s take another one of these out nope there right is that bit now we’ll put a temporary block over here like this that looks to be where they were supposed to be they are looking in the correct

Um right well i know that i don’t actually need the glass there and although that block there is useful let’s risk it i’m hoping i can you know i should have had some different colored glass and then i’d be able to see which bits i’d place down erroneously

And which bits were actually supposed to have been placed down i’d like to eat a minute yeah we’re on mutton now and we want to do that so first up we’ll go back through and we will put down the full line of them all the way back through like this

So that’s far back and say yeah i don’t need to go back any further than that and then we will jog along over here and this is where we need to carefully get them to line up there we go like that just look up onto the corner

And as long as we’re far enough back we can actually get into place now if we if i could properly use the tweakaroo stuff i could do all of this from the side over there and just change the orient i can change the direction that the block is facing

I can choose which plane it actually gets placed on it’s immeasurably useful when you’re trying to do something like this with a redstone build and so i am going to properly learn how to use it because um it is such an astonishingly useful thing to have to be able to do

Um have a functionality like that and i’m stuck let’s climb up here right then i want to do the next layer which is actually i want to be placing the sticky pistons down and i want to go like that there we go run along here and place these sticky pistons in

Yeah like that and i can come back over here now that i’ve got those in place i can then move along here and quickly chuck those in right ideal and we can go along here we can do the same over on this side because we’ve already gone and put the pistons in

Plus everything else but yeah being able to have that bit the tweakaroo settings they’re in here it’s under tweak toggles in here load of uh different clicks flexible block placement enables placing blocks in different orientations or with an offset while holding down the hotkeys for those modes now tweak hotkeys over here

I basically i need to set the blocks myself and figure out how to do them like fast left click fake sneaking i probably won’t use a fake sneaking but fake sneak placing tweak offsets to click position to the adjacent air block from the block you actually click on this basically allows

You to place blocks against blocks that have a click action such as opening inventory guides what it allows if you activate that one i can then go and place a block next to a furnace without having to press the sneak key first which again is a really helpful kind of uh

Thing to be able to go and do right so we have done that layer there let’s go up here um how are you doing the english won’t survive down here with things called sunny days and double digit temperatures yeah you’re right i’m if if i was going to go and park the uk

Up somewhere jimmy i would stick it somewhere down near the south island uh you know south of the south island i would i would think would be pint of coffee now and keep going for a week no i have almost a pint in my coffee mug and i get through six or

Seven of those in a day what about the poor scottish people they get sunstroke if they go south of birmingham i get sunstroke here like it doesn’t matter if it’s if it’s some actually it doesn’t matter if it’s summer i get sunburned here in january when it’s raining

So why something could spawn in there that may have been a mistake on my part when i was actually trying to figure out the initial design for this so just ignore that bit i’m going to come along here like that filling in these blocks if you can’t quite

I want to put another line of wire hooks down here like this like that and then i want to put some string out through here so you need to kind of like put the string out onto the edges of the string so we’ll go i’m

Just doing the two in the middle at the moment i’m not going to try and get fancy and do too much of it on that one and then they’ll be able to meet up in just a minute across to there there right so now they’ve both been connected

There’s no signal going through at the moment they do work though if i go there it’s it’s not actually triggering anything just yet there’s another little bit that we’ve got to go and place on it’ll be the next layer that actually i go up one more layer if you have a

Look there we have a repeater that goes on the top of the bit of glass just here and that repeats into there goes onto this bit i haven’t missed anything on this have i i don’t believe i’ve missed anything on this right let me drop that back down later i

Thought that that repeater didn’t make any difference although maybe it’s these rails over here that do it because that would be the end of the layer that’s the next layer up there so that wouldn’t count is where i find out that actually my redstoning here is is not entirely right

Yeah that one there goes that way now what’s it do no that’s not gonna do anything is it it’s not actually carrying any signal anywhere that’s carrying signal from down the bottom so why i’m not entirely convinced that i’ve done this correctly oh this is brilliant okay so that goes up there

Shouldn’t make any difference from this layer down that bit of railway track over there shouldn’t have any effect on anything there should be no changes to anything with that bits i’ve got the clock over the other side there’s nothing out this way that i’m missing what’s up there that’s the same

In here like that that will activate this it’ll start the moving floor the moving floor wiggles backwards and forwards and it causes the witches to glitch in between and fall down below and then they get washed through at least in theory so whether or not that is actually going

To work remains to be seen i need to do the string like that it’s 10 o’clock now for me so i’m gonna need to stop i’m also starting to get a little bit hoarse but what i’ll do is i’ll just finish placing a string down i want to just

Let’s put that one up there put tripwires up get the comparators down okay so i want a hopper that goes in that way into there and then i’m going to want a comparator that goes there like that actually i think it does and then take those two out that one in there

And that one takes a signal out of there i think i want it in subtract mode i think it just goes into there i do remember that this one in order to work needs to have four items in it one two three four like that yeah that’s why it’s like that and then

We also want to leave her out on the outside edge over there and that’s so that you can turn on and off one of the hoppers so i’ll take one lever right there that’s what that block of glass was for right there place that one down and then i can switch that one

Off and that will stop one of those hoppers so if i do this this isn’t complete yet it needs another layer on the top you have a redstone block that moves backwards and forwards on it but anyway that is that entire layer and i’m not going to start the next layer it
