Mind-Blowing Adventure Time x Minecraft Crossover!

Adventure Time here on the channel and you guys really seem to be enjoying it as well in fact I’ve been getting a lot of comments like these and it honestly warms my heart it’s pretty awesome to see that my videos and my dumb voice and unfunny jokes are able to inspire and

Motivate so many of you into re-watching some old classics so hopefully today’s video will spark some inspiration for some more of you especially for those of you who enjoy Minecraft do you guys remember that time when Adventure Time and Minecraft collaborated I’m positive that 99 of you watching this are fully

Aware of the fact that Minecraft and Adventure Time crossed over but for those of you who don’t know at and Minecraft collided on a couple of occasions both in the television and video games fear way back in 2017 and 2018 there was a Minecraft after venture time mashup pack that released on May

30th 2017 and there was a special crossover episode of Adventure Time titled diamonds and lemons which aired on July 20th 2018. it was a bonus episode which aired between the season 10 episodes gambaldia and the series finale come along with me now I do plan on diving into the Minecraft Adventure

Time mash-up pack later on in this video but first I really want to begin with taking a look at the episode diamonds and lemons I want to basically go through the plot of the episode and just talk about what I liked about it so diamonds and lemons it was written and

Fantastic 8-bit version of The Adventure Time opening featuring numerous characters that were not previously featured in The Standard intro so the episode commences with Finn engaged in combat against various mobs such as skeletons spiders and zombies in a forest at night what’s pretty cool about this fight is that for a moment you

Could see what Finn has equipped in his hot bar which is a gold block some seeds a flower a diamond block an iron pickaxe and what I’m guessing are bricks but I could totally be wrong on that it could literally be Netherrack too I mean I

Don’t know it’s a red block damn it anyways Finn attempts to fend off the mobs using his golden sword uh oh God I mean his iron pickaxe good God I mean his bucket yeah yeah his bucket after successfully defeating the zombie it drops a carrot which Finn picks up and

Eats without cleaning it he then makes a comment about how he should have watched the carrots before consuming it which is pretty amusing to me like in the world of Minecraft players don’t wash their crops before eating them nor do they really have the capabilities of doing

That like washing food isn’t really a feature in the game it’s a damn video game but if zombies were real and dropped potatoes and carrots and we followed Minecraft logic and just ate them that would be pretty gross that’s just how you get sick that’s how you get

A disease that’s how you get chlamydia or something crazy anyways Finn then runs over to a stream with his bucket to collect some water and shoves it in his inventory Finn then builds a dirt Tower up to reach the top of a hill and while doing so the sun begins to rise burning

All of the disease written mobs and sending them back to hell where they belong take that you bastards while enjoying his beautiful morning stroll back home Finn stumbles upon Lemongrab as he struggles to plant a lemon side note lemons were not in Minecraft during the Airing of this episode and I feel

Like a lot of people who saw this episode when it first aired immediately expected lemons to be added into Minecraft soon after or in the next update however it’s 2023 and lemons are still not in Minecraft Mojang hey it’s been a while when’s the lemon update coming as Finn returns home

He descends into a cave beneath the three forts using a minecart there he finds Jake mining diamonds for a secret project Ben gives him the bucket of water and offers to help and before they know it they have filled an entire mine cart with an abundance of diamonds Jake

Proceeds to push the cart towards a lava pool and gleefully tosses the diamonds into it all while shouting vanilla no mods vanilla no mods Finn is displeased with the wastage of the diamonds and believes that they could be utilized to make something valuable such as a sword therefore Finn takes matters into his

Own hands snatches a diamond from the minecart and rides the elevator to the surface determined to create something impressive and demonstrate to Jake what he’s missing side note this redstone elevator design was back in the old days also if Finn had a diamond block in his inventory why didn’t he just break that

Diamond block down and use one of those diamonds I guess it doesn’t really matter does it above Finn and Jake’s cave lies another cave which is housing the Ice King Gunter life-giving mag is an LSP also known as the gravel gang the gravel gang have gained notoriety for

Their behavior of griefing other players or other people griefing for those of you who don’t know is the act of intentionally breaking server rules or Community guidelines like in a Minecraft server for example which can include actions such as killing other players destroying their homes flooding their

Bases trapping them and so on all of which can hinder the progress of other players and from the sounds of it it seems like the gravel gang are looking to grieve some new people like Finn and Jake we then cut back to Finn who sees Lemongrab still struggling to grow

Elementary poor guy so he provides him with a shovel which doesn’t really help either meanwhile in the distance a windmill is being built by Princess Bubblegum Marceline and her Army of skeleton workers Finn greets the both of them and expresses his desire to create something intricate using the diamond he

Took from Jake to which Marceline suggests building a windmill however PB recommends something more scientific and takes Finn’s Diamond to craft a firework when fit and PB are about to high five let me grab can be heard having a stroke lemon crab can be heard screaming his

Tits off in the background Finn takes off while PB and Marcy try to help Lemongrab finally grow his lemon tree PB hands elegy and oak sapling a jungle sapling and a metric ton of bone meal which gets him all excited and giddy like an anime girl yeah look how happy

He is woo yeah baby that’s what I’ve been waiting for that’s what it’s all about we jump over to Fan who slides through three Trunks and Mr Pig’s window who is eager for some apple pie however apple pie doesn’t exist in Minecraft so tree trunks has to use pumpkins as a

Substitute okay technically tree trunk said that she is low on apples which is why she can’t make an apple pie for Finn but we all know the real reason why then again lemons don’t exist in a game you know what it doesn’t matter get off my lawn fin that explains to three trunks

That he’s very tired and that it’s a long way from home to which both him and tree trunks look at Mr Pig suggesting that he can help to which Mr Pig replies with fine we then cut to Finn using a carrot on a stick to ride Mr Pig back

Home which is also really funny poor guy he then tells Finn that he can literally just tell him where to go meaning that the carrot on the stick isn’t really necessary since this is Adventure Time and Mr Pig isn’t like a Minecraft pig which is basically made of just a bunch

Of zeros and ones and doesn’t have any idea on what life even is wow that’s that’s pretty depressing it’s getting late Mr Pig is getting tired and all hope seems lost when an Enderman is seen up ahead Finn warns Mr Pig not to look directly into the eyes of the Enderman

But of course he does the complete opposite which pisses the mob off news flash for anyone who doesn’t play Minecraft currently but is looking to playing in the future for the love of tits don’t look into an enderman’s eyes unless you want to see whatever God or

Animal you worship so Mr Pig bails wee wee wee all the way home bit doesn’t have any weapons to fight him so he has to look down at his toes and hope to God that eyeballs doesn’t start any or drama with them what’s really funny about this scene is how Finn is trying

To make small talk with the Enderman as if he’s going to respond at all better run peppermint butt also the fact that it begins to rain if the Enderman doesn’t move despite not being the biggest fan of water in Minecraft like water is deadly to Enderman I’m sure the

Creators knew about the enderman’s weakness to water but kept the scene in because it’s just kind of funny back over by Lemongrab he begins to bone meal trees while Marcy and PB finish their Windmill and scarf down some apples jumping back to the forest LSP is awoken

By the noise of Finns whistling and comes over to investigate the situation I love this Enderman so much like he’s so expressive it’s adorable as soon as LSP starts ranting he rolls his eyes and bails which is exactly what I would do as well if LSP tried to start a

Conversation with me no offense LSP Saves the Day tells Finn that he smells and to go away Finn walks away gets his pumpkin snagged by the Ice King bumps into the Enderman puts the pumpkin head on and runs away as he is about to feel

A world of pain so much for gravel gang ah it is a beautiful morning into the land of ooh Lemongrab wakes up to the site of what appears to be a lemon tree but is soon disappointed to realize that is just an apple tree poor bastard well

At least three trunks has apples again oh look Jake is still kicking diamonds into lava Finn returns and gives Jake some pumpkin pie but then notices that he created a piece of art from the diamonds on the ground Finn was very proud of Jake until he scoots all of the

Diamonds off the edge and into the lava but soon realizes a very important lesson as Finn States himself beauty isn’t a hard work itself and he oftentimes false sense of purpose we feel when doing it it’s a fleeting Sensation that drives us to repeat our actions in order to capture it again the

Episode then concludes with Finn lighting off the firework in the cave which ends up being a terrible idea and that was the diamonds and lemons episode so that begs the question was it a good episode well hold on I’ll get to that so I’ll be the first to say that

Diamonds and lemons was a pretty enjoyable crossover experience definitely not the best Adventure Time episode ever but it totally provided me with 11 minutes of entertainment and that’s honestly all I could ask for in life one aspect that stood out was the impressive character designs the characters boxy appearances reminiscent

Of Minecraft were distinct yet not exact replicas showcasing the team’s creativity characters didn’t just resemble their Minecraft skin counterparts their shapes were more squared off but still had a bit of roundness to their edges which was a nice touch same with the landscape of the world as well the inclusion of many

Minecraft Mobs like zombies skeletons spiders cows sheep Etc were a nice touch as well the whole subplot with the Enderman was pretty enjoyable too although I will have to deduct points for the rain I do think that the creators shoved a bit too many characters into this episode like at

Least in my personal opinion LSP Magus ice and the entire gravel gang just didn’t really need to be in this episode but I’m not upset that they were included either like it was nice to see a squared LSP Ice King and everyone else even three Trunks and Mr Pig as well I

Just feel like the gravel gang could have done way more for this episode but again I’m not complaining I’m still kind of pissed that we haven’t received lemons in Minecraft but hey maybe in the next update after trails and Tails releases probably not though I do

Believe that the lesson at the end of the episode was pretty incredible too despite this just being a fun wacky crossover between Adventure Time and Minecraft the beauty of hard work lies not just in the outcome but also in the effort we put into it and the sense of

Purpose and motivation it provides us with the journey to the goal or destination can feel just as impactful as reaching that end point if that makes sense to you guys it’s one of the many I guess philosophies that I currently stand by in my personal life you know I

Really enjoy creating a video and seeing everyone’s reaction to it online whether it’s good if it’s bad mediocre if if I made a mistake like for example in my last Adventure Time video I created about the blank Eyed Girl episode where I stated that those dandelion scenes were Cattails it was pretty entertaining

To see how wrong I got that and you guys correcting me but sometimes the process of creating one of those videos can feel just as if not more impactful than reaching the end of the creation which is really why I make content at the end of the day I just like creating

Sometimes spending multiple days or weeks on One Singular project the satisfaction of completion and the reception is really just an awesome bonus Speaking of awesome bonuses like I stated previously this isn’t the only Adventure Time Minecraft collaboration that has transpired why don’t we take a quick trip over to Minecraft Bedrock

Edition and see what else is available for us whoa whoa oh my God that that transition that was sick did you see that wow hey welcome to Minecraft everybody so on May 30th 2017 the Minecraft Adventure Time mashup pack released on the Legacy console edition of Minecraft for the Xbox 360 the Xbox

One the PlayStation 3 the PlayStation 4 the PlayStation Vita the Wii U and the Nintendo switch and released on the Bedrock Edition on July 6th of the same year and on November 10th and 12th the pack gained backwards compatibility with the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox series X

And S the pack uses the same music from Adventure Time and includes songs like I’m Just Your Problem all gummed up inside and my best friends in the world let me just say there are a metric ton of skins in this pack too like why don’t

And Jake’s treehouse you know that’s finished free house you see the ice kingdom you see the Candy Kingdom you really have to look for for Marceline’s um house but it’s like really rewarding when you find it because it’s so hidden away what’s really cool about this house

Is that it has another portal okay and if you go through the nether portal bam you’re in the nitosphere I mean it’s the nether but like it’s it’s a it’s like a replica of the nidosphere like there’s a bunch of statues and buildings there’s like Monsters it’s so sick look at this

Dude it’s so cool and then obviously if you wanted to just play this like a normal world you could let’s get out of here though it’s kind of scary yeah oh shh oh boy okay we’re back and if we come over to this side of the Candy Kingdom there’s

Another Gumball Guardian that’s cool if you come over here you can see a lady rainicorn’s house with his dope oh that’s scary that is scary get the hell away from me if you come over here you see this little manhole here you pop the top wink I’m breaking news we gotta go
