Mind-Blowing Biohazard Texture Pack Review

Does the idea of a post-apocalyptic world and an outbreak scientifically unexplained that’s plaguing Humanity sound like the kind of world that you want to live in well first of all you’re a little bit crazy but second of all this might be the texture pack for You and the texture pack we’re reviewing today is called biohazard by odd block it is rated 4.5 out of five with 1,950 reviews it was released on April 20th 2021 so nearly 3 years ago and it says inspired by The Last of Us and The Walking Dead The Biohazard resource pack

£579 in my local currency this get this texture pack reviewed okay so as always we start in the menus and we’re loading up the resource pack and I’ve definitely done this the wrong way because I’ve already reviewed kingdoms which was the latest texture pack by OD block and now

We’re going back to look at our previous one we’re not going to see the lessons learned it’s going to be the reverse right we’ve already seen the lessons learned and now we’re looking at kind of the inspiration and the practice that came before it and that’s obviously not giving it its due respect

Because it’s 4.5 rated out of five after new nearly 3 years it’s had 1 and a half thousand reviews it’s yeah this is this is carrying its own weight to be honest with you so we’re here and it’s biohazard and I like the green the green is very very nice it’s quite simplistic

It’s it’s a little bit olivey isn’t it as we go in we end up going for a bit around it’s almost a bit camouflage which is quite nice it’s quite a nice um idea and color scheme and as we load up I have a feeling this might take a

Complimenting each other very very well the water the ocean not too much to shout about there in all fairness I have a feeling that this pack is going to come to life with the mobs and with the villages so with that in mind let’s go and find ourselves some passive Mobs all right I’m just looking for an area that could be nice to see some mobs spawning in this looks like quite an open area who knows we might get a bit of a panda up here at some point as well just having a little look around

Something so there he is there is a panda in fact and looking at the panda not much there in fact I would go as far as to say that is a base panda okay I was not actually sure what to expect with mobs at least passive mobs

We got ourselves some parrot here as well again not much doesn’t look like much of a change from Bas bit disappointing bit disappointing I would call out texture packs for not having much change to their mobs these are obviously a bit of the Exotic passive

Mobs but you would like to see some kind of change some kind of disheveled nature that shows off the fact that this is a postapocalyptic kind of world outbreak area these animals wouldn’t be looked after let’s see if we can find some of the more main passive

Mobs oh we’ve got something over here okay so they’ve definitely changed the pig 3D okay so that yeah that Panda didn’t look very 3D neither did the the parrot but then you got this pig here this pig this pig is actually a little bit funny right here it feels like old

School animation in terms of how they’ve made this pigs look look at this snout right here I’ve fallen in love with the 3D art style of mobs and characters in texture packs like the 3D whole style and how they make it pop and try and come out of the shapes and squares I’ve

Fallen in love with it I think they’re great to be honest with you this is a very nice Pig for me a little bit cartoony but then I did grow up with some weird cartoons so maybe that’s just TR me but that smile on his face he is

Living his life look that he’s like I got nobody else trying to kill me make food out of me there are no more humans I see you I see you we go over here as well we got another Pig here I thought there was a chicken doesn’t look like it

We’ got an ocelot here I think it’s going ocelot there a cat in it not very 3D there it’s like they haven’t chosen some of the side mobs maybe I’m a little bit wrong there there’s another parrot here that we can just double check is it

3D if it is 3D it’s very minimal it’s not not completely obvious look again at the uh Panda I mean are we calling the nose 3D I don’t know I don’t know I wouldn’t consider this 3D like when you saw the pigs the legs were their own kind of

Well I do buy these texture packs with my own money and I give you my honest opinion every time this is a really nice touch look at this the swamp biome covered in this nuclear waste Biohazard Waste I thought it was bubbling there but that’s lily pads that aren’t

Rendering in properly from this far but look at that the swamp just overtaken with all of this green nuclear Biohazard Waste oh that’s a nice World Generation as well and also as well the seed to this world is in the description so if there’s anything you like from the world

Generation like maybe you liked that little Cove maybe you like to know that there is a um witch’s Hut there the seed is down in the description you can see the coordinates on the screen right now as well as we head off in this direction I believe there is a village over here

You know I had to do a little pre Peak to see where the village was so that I could run back and show you guys the swamp but yeah I do pay for these texture packs on my own I do buy them so that I can give you my honest opinion

And if it ever gets to a point where I don’t buy the texture pack I will make sure that I let you know but I won’t let that get in the way of me giving you my honest opinion I promise you that my honest opinion is my word my word is my

Integrity here we go so we are here in this in Casia biome AA biome amesa biome whatever you want to call this right we are here as we are this is some very weird block designs isn’t it look Acacia stairs I would not have assumed that

Attention added to the texture pack and I do like that I wonder if all the villages look the same or if it’s different depending on biome that’d be a good question to try and get answered maybe we find another Village and just have a little look let me go and see if

I can find another one in a different biome okay so we’re coming up to another uh village now but I just wanted to show you guys as well just some of this world generation here so we’ve got the Reds the greens there’s some Browns off in the distance then we got some lighter

Greens here it’s very nice color scheme here to be honest with you and then as we come down to this village now I’ll be honest and I do have to be honest I was expecting to see like a lot more of this actually this is a really nice touch what is that yellow

Stained glass pain okay so that’s what I was expecting a lot more of boarded up Windows um signs and stuff like that just stuff that you would see and we do Okay so we’ve got biome specific villagers and then that’s how we’re getting diversity okay this is good I like this

I do like this so the villages seem to change depending on which biome we’re in the Iron Golem stays the same which you would expect wonder if we got any more any more kind of signposts I like the doors the doors are nice I can’t see any more signposts but

That would be a very interesting way to do it using glass panes just want to go and have a little look over here what is this stripped oak logs looking very manufactured okay let’s just have a quick look we don’t normally do this let’s just have a little look into here

Just see if there’s any kind of postapocalyptic signs warnings borders like boarding up things you know stuff that you would see in like a post-apocalyptic world when you’re going through uh a city that’s been ravaged we’re getting some getting some spoilers here we won’t waste too much time on

That I’m not seeing much although this kind of stuffff pottery Shard shs even looking like bottles that’s nice we don’t usually look at those anything else where is all of the glass I can never find stuff in this inventory for some reason I do not know

Why I mean I obviously can’t find glass because glass doesn’t look like glass I’m assuming so if we just have a little type of glass here okay so we’ve got glass white stained glass light glass Brown stained glass is looking like boarded up boxes and stuff okay so they seem to have changed

Out the glass and made it into kind of like planks and stuff this is where your apocalyptic build blocks are that’s very interesting that is very interesting there isn’t really a way of seeing that too much in this in like Villages and stuff but that definitely

Means there is a way to build a PO post-apocalyptic world with this texture pack with that being said though I’m going to turn it to nighttime to see what the Hostile Mobs look like and see if they’re the reason why this post-apocalyptic world became how it

Wither Skeleton not being black is a big creative choice I mean wither skeletons are known for being black that is a big creative choice I don’t know if I like it I prefer Wither Skeleton to be black I mean how it looks though is amazing it definitely does

Far I’m loving this pack I don’t know if you can tell it started a little bit slow but I am loving this pack and I think there’s only one place left for us to go so let’s go and find an ancient city and let’s go and find a warden

Pack oh wow I will say this pack would be very very difficult to play an actual survival world and some stuff just changes so drastically it would be very difficult to play it in but damn is it worth doing wow wow the ghast I thought it peaked
