How to take a 360 degree snapshots of minecraft so that you can view them in your awesome vr hey guys it’s chad we’ve covered the replay mod before on this channel by crushed pixel amazing guy and it’s just gotten a little bit better by adding the ability to take still images In 360 degrees we actually even cover the 360 degree video recording in a previous episode but now photos are just a little bit easier to deal with so here’s how it works so here we are inside of the game that already has a reply mod installed uh i use the twitch App to easily uh work this in uh if you’re new to replay mod it’s pretty simple uh whenever you have it installed and you join a game uh you will be floating around uh and you can see up well you won’t be floating around i’m floating around but you can see that It’s recording up in the corner which is exactly what we want and then when we leave the game uh that is the recording is finished if we go to our replay viewer and this also works on multiplayer servers and everything like that you can see that i have two just before About uh six minutes ago when i was recording and then the one that i just did if we hit load we can jump in and we will see everything that happened i am basically well i am in spectator mode so i can see everything that’s going on With my character up until the very last moment so if i exit this replay and join in to the one that i did before which is right here let’s go ahead and click load there we go so before i started on this mountain i came over here into this Ocean monument and i fought a few things it took me a little while to get ready i can hit t to move my mouse around let’s go ahead and pause and let’s skip a little bit ahead and then go ahead and hit play and we’ll see where is my character not Exactly sure i think he’s inside of here yeah there there i am i’m running around inside trying to figure out uh how to get out i do want uh what uh this would look like right as i exit so i’m going to go ahead and move this speed up There we go until i get out of here and there we go so this actually frame right here is actually what i wanted a 360 degree view of me getting attacked and i kind of wanted to set the camera right here so you could look back see me look around You kind of get this really cool 360 view by the way if you do and hitting t is how i’m opening up so i can get my mouse if you hit here toggle lighting is very useful especially when you’re under water anyway so now that we are ready to take That 360 degree snapshot what do we do well just like oh i just clicked on my character i can’t do that i just clicked on him you’d be seeing everything from my view um now that we have this done it’s as easy as your normal snapshot Button which i have mapped to f12 so or f2 sorry so just go ahead and click f2 and you can see that you get the different rendering default but we want this the 360 degree version now you do need to change your resolution and it needs to be too wide by one big But you do want this to be fairly large in order to capture all this because as you stretch things out you need more data you need more pixels to be able to see that so i’m gonna go ahead and change this to what crush pixel suggested which is Uh these numbers right here 4320 by 2160 so 4320 by 2160 and it’s going to output i guess i could change let’s just put it into the documents folder let’s say right there uh we’re not going to output as an mp4 okay so i found a little bit of a bug is That uh whenever you change this it starts off it assault starts off as a png but if you change where this is going at all it switches it to an mp4 i just hit cancel uh we’ll just let it save in the default location and we’re Just gonna find that later so now that we have that done go ahead and hit take a screenshot and it will work its magic there we go so now we can show the file on the disk and here it is looks awesome you can zoom in you can see lots of detail there Looks pretty cool looks a little wonky but uh looks looks pretty nice oh lots of detail you can also upload it to vr.tv and once you’ve created account just choose upload and it’s in your normal screenshot folder and i’m using the twitch launcher to get there so it’s just right there in your Screenshots there you go now it is processed now you can see this really awesome situation of me hanging out here and uh some of these uh these guys have already to attack me which is not so great didn’t don’t really love that hope you enjoyed this Video of course you can find a link in the description for you to try this out yourself so i suggest that you go through and do that thanks so much for watching if you enjoyed this video please give it a like please leave a comment down below letting me know what You think about this video and also make sure you subscribe for future tips tricks tutorials and spotlights here on omgcraft see you next time bye Video Information
