Hey guys it’s phoenix today i wanted to talk about the massive announcement that has just been announced on the internet regarding minecon earth 2018. uh it is going to be another live stream that’s happening on the 29th of september for every country except for australia so That being said i do want to tell you guys that there is going to be a biome vote so not a mob vote it’s going to be a biome vote and this is not actually a new biome they’re going to be allowing us to vote on which biome we wish for them to Update next but have a listen this is what they’ve planned Hi i’m nienz and i’m agnes we work on minecraft minecon earth is returning to your screens on september 29th this year we’d like you to choose which biome we update next the one with the most votes gets cool new features and mobs we will be releasing new videos leading Up to mike on earth showing you which new features will be added to these biomes plus we’ll tell you how you can vote for your favorite biome during the minecon earth livestream on september 29th Okay so during the next week because we are leading up to the 29th of september uh they will be releasing new videos so these videos would presumably be very similar to what jens did for the mob a b c and d vote i want to make this very clear at The very beginning because you guys might not watch the end they will not be excluding the two other biomes that lose the vote what they’re actually doing here is allowing us to vote on what biome gets updated next now this has been confirmed on this Reddit post if i just scroll all the way down to helen she makes it abundantly clear in this reply i’m going to link this reddit post in the description as well as the video she said that it would not be like last year where one biome gets updated but the rest don’t This speaks volumes about what they have planned and so all of that being known now i don’t know whether this vote is appropriate uh or whether they will you know they better make it really clear that those other two biomes don’t get thrown away now another big pointer to take away From this is the fact that we are going to be voting on a biome whatever they announce as the 1.14 update during minecon earth which i’m presuming they will otherwise what’s this really been all about that announcement that they’ll make shouldn’t really be related to this Biome that’s going to win the vote it’s just like from last year the mob that won wasn’t really the video that they showed they showed the aquatic update and i don’t think it’s going to be actually about the biome although those biome changes will feature somehow if the phantom one that wasn’t Really related to the updated aquatic we cannot assume that it’s going to be a biome update it could be a caving update which would be fantastic i think that’s what everyone really wants now along with many other things so it’s all still very unclear what they have planned we’ll Have to wait for minecon earth to come around so you guys can give your thoughts and opinions then um another thing is how’s this vote going to be conducted we don’t actually know they have said that uh they’ll give us more information about how they will feature the votes during the show If it’s on twitter again i don’t know how people are going to feel about that because we all know twitter isn’t really representative of the entire community they could perhaps make a website exclusive to minecon earth and then people would go on that website and just click a button Because on twitter you have to make an account you have to have an account to vote all in all i must conclude that this vote isn’t as important as the one last year so maybe they’ve learned their lesson maybe they’ve thought of something different but for them to really have a Banger of a show they will need to have a much greater announcement to bring more spectators in to watch because last year’s show wasn’t something of an example i’m sure it just gets better from there anyway so thank you all for watching leave your thoughts in the comments Uh i would probably vote for the desert but once again it’s really not that big of a deal of a vote this year thank you for watching leave a like subscribe for more creative content michael on earth is next week and change fingers crossed it’s a lot better than last year’s take care You Video Information
