Hello everyone and welcome to the first pre-release of Minecraft 1.19.3 as you’ll see here on the website moying have also let us know they intend to release this on December the 6th that means over the next two weeks we can expect to see some more pre-releases and then release candidates and when this Update is released it will include the 1.20 experimental features you’ll be able to select this data pack and bring in bamboo blocks and chisel bookshelves into your world and of course those features are still in development and subject to change which brings me to a mistake I made with the last video on This channel I am of course talking about the introduction of the piglin heads and the use of mob heads on noteblocks in snapshot 22w46a and in my excitement I forgot that the article shared with us earlier in the week specifically pointed out this was a 1.20 feature and in that Video I made the mistake of presenting it as 1.19.3 and with this pre-release the experimental content for 1.20 T brings some absolutely game-changing why is that head back to front in my hand yeah yeah I think we found a bug here but as I was saying there is a real game Changer for customizability in this one but it’s part of 1.20 so we’re gonna Blitz through everything else first and if you want to stay up to date and informed of all of these changes please do subscribe to the channel that way you can catch all the videos on the updates Of Minecraft so in 1.19.3 there are new entity sub predicates for axolotls boats foxes mushrooms paintings rabbits horses llamas villagers parrots and tropical fish and looking through all of the changes it sure does seem like a lot of stuff is going on here but it’s not Really a big deal this stuff at the end of the day is simply just code optimization so something a little more interesting the field biome command can now support filters so what this filter will allow me to do is select a region from roughly around that pillar to over This pillar and I can fill in a biome but I can choose which type I will fill in and so I have selected to replace the forest biome with jungle and as you’ll see the grass is now Greener here because it’s a jungle biome so if we get A little closer we’re in a beach biome we step back and we’re in a jungle biome so I’ve used the Border here just to demonstrate that it didn’t replace anything in this biome type but only the forest now here on the main screen we have these yellow splashtex 90 bug free For example in this update they’ve added a new one which is made with larvae a little nod to a typo that was in one of the previous snapshots also in this pre-release the Vex texture has been slightly tweaked to me it looks like the wings are a little less shiny and the Eyebrows have been made a little more blue and muted the Vex was also adjusted so that it would sit inside a minecart or a boat correctly as you can see their eye height is now the same as the LA when it sits in another entity so bug fixes in this pre-release one important One I noticed the Deep slate copper ore was erroneously generating a lot in the Deep Arc so if you come down here to grab this stuff you’re now going to see a lot less of it also the amount of time that can be displayed on a status effect Has been increased previously you would have just seen a bunch of stars whereas now you get this really high count and that large number you saw corresponds to 999 seconds you can’t go any higher than this value with a status effect as for the other bug fixes there were some Pathfinding corrections and corrections to subtitles as two nothing too much to write home about this means we can now move on to some 1.20 changes the skulk sensor for example have been overlooked when it came to the Chisel bookshelf so now when you put a book in it can be Activated and when you take one out it’ll also be activated so a question comes to mind what is the signal strength of such a thing it is six for putting the book in and six for taking it out and it doesn’t matter which slot you do it on it’s always the same result And there was also a bug fix for the top texture of the chiseled bookshelf getting rotated based on which way you place it down now it will be the same no matter what way you place it and one last fix related to this is interestingly the act of putting a book In but not taking it out will increase this statistic the times used so for the enchanted book I put it into the bookshelf 11 times and as I said it doesn’t count when you take it out and with all of that taken care of we can Now talk about what I think is an absolute massive game changer for customization in this update and I am talking about player heads now containing a note block sound field and just a suggestion from moyang I think it’d be a really good idea to separate some of these changes here like it’s Easy to get confused that this is for 1.19.3 so let me make it clear this that I’m about to show you is for 1.20 and it also relates to this poll I did on my YouTube channel where 94 of you thought that this that we’re about to see would Be a good idea and pixel riffs also touched on the community having this idea that the Steve head should make the oof sound but moyang have given us the option to make whatever sound we want now you will be able to do this with resource packs and data packs however With a couple of tweaks a lot of this could be done without either of those things which I’ll try and explain as we go along but remember the website there is now a noteblock sound field and when present it determines the sound that a note block makes when the head is placed On top of it so this cow head here has that note block sound field filled in that is the Ambient sound of the cow and so in this command block we can see the field and then we can see us referencing the cow’s Ambient sound so everything’s So far possible in vanilla however me breaking this head and replacing it in survival mode that requires the data pack so when I put this back it still has that note block sound data attached to it meaning that it still carries the sound of the cow with it now a lot of You are aware of vanilla tweaks which you can get to via my website yes I am plug in my website which has a feed of all my videos and a whole bunch of other interesting stuff you can explore on the left hand side now to get to the point Vanilla tweaks says something that might interest you and a lot of you will already know about it is the more mob heads data pack and this essentially allows for every mob in the game to drop its own head and this of course will be updated so it includes the Ambient sound Of that mob when it drops meaning this pack will extend the functionality we’ve seen to every single mob head now it’s also possible using a resource pack is to add your own sound to these heads right so here we go no no no no no uh-huh do you know what’s next no no And this is what I’m incredibly excited about because it doesn’t just have to be a player and a sound that relates to them you can bring in any type of sound into the game and then activate it through note blocks and you may or may not be aware but in season 9 of Hermitcraft we added a mod to allow us to put custom music onto record disks but also for jukeboxes to interact with Hoppers so that records could be pulled out and also droppers so they could be pushed into the Jukebox and played too that is of course a mod and now all of This can be done with resource packs and data packs meaning that we can take that functionality we’ve added and put it into the World download of season nine anyways it’s obvious that I’m excited and getting distracted Let’s Play the Steve head I reckon that should be by Default so if we look at this command here I’m giving myself a play ahead and it has this custom sound from the resource pack it is known as oof so when I give myself this regular play ahead it has that sound attached and it works just like that There was also a bug fix related to all of this the pig Lin wasn’t actually playing its Ambient sound before and just a reminder saying I forgot to mention last video if you’re going to use the charge creeper to get a pickle in head you only ever get one mob head At a time with this creature so a massive thank you to mookie Tanuki for setting up the data pack and resource pack that allowed me to show you these new features which are just amazing and with that we come to the end of the Video so be sure to leave a like and if you haven’t already please do
