Minecraft 1.20 CHERRY BLOSSOM – Leaked Secrets & New Biome

Well my friends it’s been an exciting few days in the world of Minecraft moyang have been teasing us with what’s coming to 1.20 we have learned about archeology coming to the game and also the sniffer mob and sniffer eggs I covered these in detail with the recent

Videos you can find here on this channel but I’ll give you a quick recap on what we’ve learned so far archeology is coming to the deserts we’re going to find dig sites in villages Wells and also temples there will be a new block added to the game known as suspicious

Sand you’ll have to use your brush tool that’s made out of copper to brush away the sand to reveal Pottery shards and also random loot the pottery shards will have unique drawings of them four of them have been revealed so far and they can be assembled in a variety of ways to

Create a unique configuration for a pot now as for that random loot that I mentioned the suspicious sound will also help you find sniffer eggs of course these eggs will be hatched into the sniffer mop known as a snifflet when it’s a baby and when it grows into an

Adult it’s going to roam the Overworld looking for ancient seeds and these ancient seeds can be grown into new unique decorative plants and since I’ve recorded my last video there’s been a leak from Roger badgerman and this is supposedly what these new unique decorative plants will look like so on

The left hand side it looks like we’re going to get vines that will grow some sort of blueberry looking objects that then become a little bit 3D at their full growth stage and on the right there’s some sort of like half log looking base of a plant that Sprouts up

And then grows into something almost alien looking this is a really different art style for Minecraft if you ask me and we will get to see them all very soon because as I’m recording this video it’s a Tuesday and Wednesdays are usually snapshot days so make sure you subscribe and tomorrow hopefully we’ll

Get to see them in game for the first time now before we get into the details about the cherry blossom biome I do want to point out that they say this marks the final reveal of our 1.20 feature list so this could mean that we’ve seen everything they’ll be adding to 1.20 see

That I like to think it’s everything they’re going to reveal before they throw in a snapshot maybe we’ll get lucky and get one or two more things but so far 1.20 is shaping up pretty nice so we’re going to start off with screenshots as I run through the details

But I also have a video of the biome to share with you too now the cherry blossom trees are described as being big and flat like fluffy pink clouds but they’re also part of a biome and in this biome the mobs that will spawn will be

Pigs sheep and bees and in some of the trees you can actually see bees nest generate with the cherry blossom tree so in one of these images there is a house that’s been built out of cherry wood the good news here is it’s going to be a

Full set of wood meaning that you get the trap doors the doors like you can see in the image all the other wood types and even the new hanging sign too the cherry tree is also going to drop saplings from its leaves meaning that you can pick those up and go plant them

Anywhere you like in the Minecraft world and in a couple of these images you’ll also see what look like little Cherry flowers on the ground as well as particle effects coming from the leaves and according to this tweet these are pink flower carpet blocks now to my eyes

They didn’t look like carpet blocks but more a plant like this that spreads itself out a little bit but who knows we’ll get to find out soon and if you are wondering what a full set of wood blocks are it’s pretty much everything that you see right here we’re going to

Get all of this in the Cherry Blossom variety so today is also Valentine’s Day which is why I think they chose this biome to announce today just because it kind of fits the theme a little bit and they’re doing some other Valentine’s related minecrafty stuff in the article

Here it mentions a bag of heart-shaped cookies but this is all just fluff at the end of the article I don’t think there’s any heart-shaped cookies coming into the game but of course I could be wrong what do you think are we getting heart-shaped cookies and it’s video time

Short I think less than 30 seconds you can see some building in action and you can get a feel for the animation into the biome because of course there’s particle effects dripping from underneath the leaves this does not get across in the screenshot so I think it’s

A great idea they decided to share a video clip with us too this biome looks like it’s going to be a really Pleasant place to visit and if you’re wondering if adding a new biome is going to mess with your world generation my young have been putting in a lot of work to

Correcting things like that in the future so if you’ve got an existing world and you update to 1.20 it should be that you can just go out into the wild explore and find a cherry blossom biome without getting any of those nasty biome borders of course we’re going to
