Minecraft 1.20 Might Update Villages Again…

Minecraft’s most handsome back at it again the 1.20 trails and Tails update oh my gosh it’s amazing wonderful breathtaking even but in the great words of the little boat good low bills my body up like a glass ah you wait wrong ones wrong ones it could always could always be better

Be and how it actually might already be here let’s do this so like I said this Journey Begins just a couple days ago I think it literally had to be Saturday I was taking a look at the Minecraft 1.20 Wiki I was refreshing myself on the many

Amazing 1.20 editions I mean after all it’s been kind of easy to forget things like the Chisel bookshelf the mob had changed and oh my gosh did you remember the poor the sad the Forgotten hanging sign this is a huge update with the recent additions to 1.20 stuff like armor trim

Cherry Grove archeology a lot of 1.20 features at least in my mind we’re starting to get forgotten by taking a look back at some of the features that are already included in the update I’ve realized that we kind of have all of the components here for Village update 2.0

Even if it were to come just in the form of a couple new structures a follow-up to the legendary Minecraft village and pillage update ah that would be absolutely amazing after all the villagers are easily one of the biggest most interesting and most useful parts of Minecraft

A follow-up even a partial one to the village and pillage update it could come at 1.20 but what if I told you what if I told you 1.20 already is a village update and it’s been for months flashback rewind to the end of last year literally the week after Minecraft live

Wood sort of represents a huge shift over at Mojang it takes a feature that was added to Minecraft updates ago in fact in the first Village in Village update it adds a brand new functionality to it and a really significant functionality at that I comb through Minecraft updates looking for a new

Update that updated an old feature in a massively significant way and I think the closest example that I could find and it’s kind of reach is the firework rocket Edition to elytres and like 1.11 or 1.12 but even that isn’t directly adding to an old feature this bamboo

Update is really significant it shows us that the devs are definitely willing to take a look at things that are already in the game and improve them maybe make them make a little bit more sense or that the leaves make them more interesting with his new bamboo proven

Logic this means that who knows within a couple updates time maybe we actually have calcite bricks or heck at the least calcite slaps oh it’ll be beautiful jumping ahead to a way more recent and maybe way more beautiful Edition oh my gosh we got cherry wood of course

There’s no way I could forget about Cherrywood it’s absolutely amazing the pink tone the lightest wood but the darkest wood the amazing treat yeah you know everything about it I don’t even need to really say too much about this one but for this one Lads it also kind

Of goes without saying that the cherry wood it comes with a brand new biome as well something the bamboo has had for well since 1.14 and our big 1.20 investigation so far we’ve got four takeaways we’ve got bamboo wood and cherry wood and both of these wood types

To what was actually included in the Minecraft 1.20 update it was back to Minecraft for me specifically over to the Jungle while I was inside of the dense dense jungle taking a look at all of the leaves the trees and of course the bamboo here I started thinking about

Villagers specifically how they look aesthetically inside of this biome ah hmm interesting interesting you’ve got unique clothes but why simply putting that villager outfit was a mystery that left me confounded and confused I hopped on the nearest raft and sailed back to the meadow now real quick I’d like to jog

Your memory and the village and Village Upton in the village and pillage update the devs updated the villagers to their modern status alongside the updating of the villagers they updated The Villages every single Village gets a unique type A Unique variant for every biome that it exists in for example a savannah Village

It’s gonna look significantly different than a Plains Village so the vital piece so the puzzle we’re trying to solve today is actually found Over in the Meadow pile so in Minecraft 1.14 they added unique type of village for every single biome no matter what then a couple updates

Later in 1.18 the kind of lazily slapped the plains Village inside of the meadow bio this thing was no offense so lazily done that in fact the villagers don’t even have a unique outfit inside of this bio even though they’re inside of a unique biome it makes no sense the caves and clips

Has got some brand new wood types interestingly these wood types are making it into biomes that are kind of related to villagers in the case of bamboo wood the bamboo jungle is just like the jungle and the jungle already has villagers in the case of Cherrywood well the Cherry Grove biome generates in

The same place The Meadows do and Meadows have Villages just not villagers for a new and unique Village type to exists in Minecraft there seems to be three requirements we’ve got to have a unique and new biome we’ve got to have a unique villager like a different outfit

And we have to have some blocks that relate to that biome to actually build the village out of and so that’s it that’s it we’re here for the very first time ever did kind of in this one’s case maybe for the first time ever we finally have

Blocks so we could build a unique Village out of inside of the beautiful jungle biome kind of kind of all right so look I know that we’ve had jungle wood and we’ve had it for like literally years now about as long as I’ve played this game it’s

Always existed but the jungle is a very dense biome as we took a look at what is it to maybe as dense is the bamboo jungle you take some of this bamboo you easily chop it away slap a village right inside of it and voila you have the beautiful jungle Village curious about

The jungle villager’s outfit well it’s still here it’s exactly the same as the jungle we know that the devs plan updates ahead did they possibly add the jungle villager to 1.14 and it’s actually always been the bamboo jungle villager I don’t think the devs would actually ever add a village to the

Jungle bomb seems a little bit too dense but the bamboo jungle I feel like it’s definitely that it’s not as much of a reach at all I mean look at how cool this looks you have a path right here with like bamboo surrounding the path oh

It’s so good then you could go ahead and take the brand new bamboo wood and actually build the structures out of it you’ve already got the Villager there so hey check you’ve got all of the components now for this quick backup of a potential jungle Village I’m using a

Data pack created by Jurassic Beast it’s amazing I went ahead and made some small modifications to these structures here kind of like you know starting to mix in a little bit of bamboo wood here and I don’t know you have something that starts to look like this with bamboo

What you’ve got a lot of interesting building options you got the planks really interesting you got the Mosaic or you could go crazy and make some kind of pattern in there that would be really really interesting you’ve got the unstripped and natural beautiful version of the wood that would look really good

Would blend in great with the bamboo or even have the stripped log too the strip looks great when it comes to a potential Bamboo Village I mean look the devs could go crazy here I’m kind of imagining maybe in like the vanilla one you got houses sitting on like bamboo

Stilts or something use the fences or or maybe even the solid blocks I don’t know but Bamboo Village there’s so much potential and all of the components are here next up we’ve got Cherry Grove Village and for this one we backtrack just slightly the Cherry Grove biome if you

Didn’t know in World Generation it generates it about the same spot that a metal would generate going up a mountain and speaking of meadow we’ve already got this weird strange half implemented Village thing why would the devs spend an entire update cycle diversifying an interest of buying the villages all made

A lazily slap one in from a different biome later this one is a little bit more of a mystery a puzzle maybe even a reach because yes you could take the brand new beautiful cherry wood go over to the meadow Village and basically Swap all of the oak for the Cherry boom voila

It works and it’s pretty beautiful looking too or I’m sure it would be but the cherry trees don’t generate inside of the meadow biome um so that’s weird for this one I kind of wonder if Villages were ever really meant to be inside of the meadow biome

At all maybe the villages were put inside of the metal biome for now could they be moved in 1.20 over to the Cherry Grove biome instead and you get branching structures I mean after all if the plains Village inside of the metal bomb was always just a placeholder for

The concept of mountain Villages why bother designing unique structures if they’re just going to be moved later you could say that Minecraft’s beautiful Brand’s new mountainous Cherry girl battle is inspired by the real-life Japanese equivalent to the same it would be amazing to see some Japanese inspired Villages inside of this Cherry Grove

Biome the villager’s unique biome outfits are always inspired by the biomes that they live inside of the tiger one has got the sweet cold drip imagine the drip the insane amount of fire outfit options that the Villager would have inside of the Cherry Grove bio artists out there at least this is

Was thinking about Villages and villagers we got another biome that has every ingredient now unique biome I checked that was added in the last update it’s wonderful unique villager that was added in 1.14 wonderful land of a course blocks to build it out of all of these blocks were added inside of

Minecraft to 1.19 we’re taking a look at lasercraft 32’s amazing swamp Village data pack these things are so cool for our swamp update 2.0 we use the manager of wood for the buildings obviously and when we need bricks we use the mud bricks obviously as well these

Structures are so cool they’re kind of like on stilts and of course you got the swamp villagers too imagine how cool it would be to move into a mangrove swamp or even a classic swamp and find one of these swamp Villages this would be so cool looking and by placing a village

Inside of the mangrove swamp you’d get this really interesting village with trees so literally towering over to the Village making a canopy it looks so good too there’s great building blocks here new Villages would definitely fit into the theme of Minecraft 1.20 and what they’re doing so far updating old

Structures and making them more interesting and giving you a reason to travel around the world the heck the devs could even take it a different route and add Villages for these biomes use the Brand’s new wood types four of the villages inside of those biomes except only they’re completely empty

This time abandoned you move over to these empty abandoned Villages you find suspicious remnants of the past all over the place hopefully you’re a little bit more careful than me and you brush them away these new Villages become a brand new excavation sites and they become opportunities to revive the past import
