Recent snapshots betas and previews and what is available inside of them we can actually pinpoint when the developers are expecting to release this update because it has a lot of similarities to the Past updates one more thing I do want to say in today’s video because I

Do get a lot of questions about it 1.20 is pretty much complete and what I mean by that is the developers actually told us in snapshots and beta and preview change logs that there is no more 1.20 features and I know you have the question about the Roger badgerman vines

That we did see and also bundles personally I think bundles are going to be available in the next updates the developers haven’t touched them in the 1.20 updates we just have them as an experimental toggle on Minecraft Java Edition they’re not even available for Minecraft Bedrock so the chances of

Seeing them in this update is pretty much non-existent as for the Roger badgerman Vines well that was a leaked screenshot and of course the developers scrap features all the time so I don’t think they’re going to be added either alright it’s now time for the juicy

Stuff because Echo is going to give you the official release day I’m not talking about month because I think we all know roughly the month that we can be expecting this update I am talking about a specific day that this update will be released so how are we going to to do

That well like I said Minecraft 1.20 has a lot of similarities compared to previous updates throughout today’s video we’re going to be comparing this to Minecraft 1.19 because they have very similar release days and times the snapshots are lining up absolutely perfectly if we go back to Minecraft

1.18 well Minecraft 1.18 was caves and cliffs part 2 which actually released on November 30th 2021 if we go back to Minecraft 1.17 which was caves and cliffs part 1 which I think was the intended release for the whole entire caves in Cliff’s update that released on

June 8 2021 going back to 1.16 which was the nether update this released on the 23rd of June 2020 so discounting caves in Cliffs part 2 the updates have one month specifically that they see seem to be releasing on and that is June so the

First thing I can tell you guys is it looks like Minecraft 1.20 is releasing of June this year that is next month the reason why I can make today’s video is if we go back in time this was actually April of last year the 19th of April 2022 the Minecraft snapshot

22w16a B released and in this version the developers added new music and they added a brand new music disc what released very recently for Minecraft 1.20 that is new music and also a new music disc you can see that as clear as day in this official changelog Minecraft snapshot

23w17a at the bottom they added the new advancements for trails and tales they also added new trails entails ambient music and also added a new music disc which could be obtained through archeology now you can see what I have highlighted throughout today’s video is the specific dates this one is the 26th

Of April there’s the previous one I showed you which was the 19th so as you can see we are slightly behind schedule however this snapshot version was 23w17a the last one was 22w16a so we’re like one week out at this moment in time because remember the

23 or the 22 stands for the the year the W stands for week and then the next number being 15 16 17 Etc stands for what week we are currently in as I’ll be making today’s video we are currently in week 19 of 2023 but again that doesn’t

Mean anything because snapshot stages is not the final stages when it comes to Minecraft updates yeah of course we get beta snapshots and of course previews but after that stage is done specifically for Minecraft Java Edition we then enter pre-release and then we have to enter release candidate now when

It comes to pre-releases there is no specific day or date that they release on there is no specific number that it releases with because as you know Minecraft snapshots typically released on Wednesdays when it comes to the pre-releases they could release Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday or Sunday some days we’ve had

More than one pre-release sometimes we’ve even had three pre-releases on the same days so again that’s where things become a little bit more tricky to try and find the official release day slash date now if we do go back to Minecraft 1.19 it had a total of five pre-releases

And two release candidates as you can see here during the final pre-releases and the release candidates which was on the 29th of the 5th 2022 the developers went head and gave us the official release day and date that being June 7th and as you guys know on June 7th we did

Get the official release which of course was a Tuesday if we do go back in time as you can see via the wiki we have the experimental versions being all the snapshots that we had along with the pre-releases and the release candidates now of course 22w16a B after that we were only given

Three more additional snapshots which could indicate that this week could actually be the final snapshots but like I said earlier on I think we are actually one week maybe two weeks behind schedule versus Minecraft 1.19 so this week could be the last snapshot before we get a pre-release but I actually

Think it’s going to be next week so I think we will get 23 w20a then we’ll enter the pre-release as I mentioned Minecraft 1.19 had a total of five previous says and to release candidates remember pre-releases can be numbers down to one pre-release all the

Way up to like 10 or 20. there is no specific number of pre-releases it’s all determined by how many books the developers have to fix if any issues have occurred and a game breaking issue critical in 1.20 which could delay the update even further but fingers crossed

That is not going to happen if we go back to Minecraft 1.19 the final pre-release candidates which again was released candidate two this was published on minecraft.net on the 1st of June 2022 and as you guys know a couple of days later Minecraft 1.19 officially released I know what you guys are

On Tuesday the 6th of June I don’t think it’s going to be releasing on a Wednesday or it could though because snapshots release on Wednesdays but I think we are aiming between the 13th of June 2023 if not it could be pushed back to the 20th of June 2023 I still think
