Minecraft 1.8: UPDATE OUT NOW! UNDER WATER DUNGEONS, NEW MOBS & MUCH MORE [MC 1.8]

Hey guys how you doing my name is erko and welcome finally to minecraft 1.8 it was released this morning and jeb posted this on twitter saying minecraft 1.8 the bounty fall update has been published so i’m gonna be showing you everything that has been updated in minecraft 1.8 i’ve

Shown you the features in the snapshots in separate videos but i want to go over in much detail everything that did come because there’s so many features that everyone has waited for wanted to see i could go over them but i will have a link in the description to absolutely

Everything that was added there’s so many cool things so i’m going to start a brand new world we’re going to create a new world we’re going to go into creative because i think if we start in creative then i can show you them in the creative menu instead of me having to

Build them or search for all the items that we want to use now the main things in my opinion that were introduced are the mobs and that were the likes of the guardian you’ve got the endermite you’ve got rabbits you’ve got so many things that really really will be enjoyed by

Many users so it’s gonna be a little bit laggy while we do spawn in here i want to start to try and find a uh underwater dungeon which where the um the guardians hide so i’m gonna try and find one of them straight away i think

We have and we have found one straight away right here i just want to have quickly do the night vision potion let me just put this on because you can see a lot better on the water so let me quickly drink this and as you can see

There look at the size of these things they are massive so the oceans are also bigger as well now if you’re not familiar with the guardians i’m going to show you exactly what they do and they pretty much attack the squids as you can see there they’re attacking the squid

Straight away they’re just destroying the squids um you don’t get any drops from the screws if they drop them unless they drop their insects i’m not sure but you can see this really doesn’t build into terrain this one looks a little bit dodgy uh you get so many different

I wonder if there’s going to be any cool um spawns or any cool seeds so in here i want to go down and show you the actual biggest one as you can see here this is the main guardian and he will attack you if you

Switch game modes but as you can see i’m in creative so i should be okay for now but this guy is huge compared to the little guys which you’ll see around here as you can see this is the big guy he’s evil and he will do a lot of damage to

You and i believe they have the effect that they give you i’m not sure if it says them or no they give you a mining fatigue where you can’t mind for a certain amount of time which can be deadly in these things because if you want to mine and get away

Well then they make it very very difficult so that is one of the main things that i really did enjoy about this update but i’ll leave them in peace i’m not going to bother them too much we’re going to go back to land and i’m

Going to show you guys uh all the other things slime box uh slime blocks they’re one of my favorite features as well that they did introduce are we going the right way here i hope we are hope we haven’t lost lost a bit of land we probably will come

Across another dungeon if we continue to spawn chunks i don’t know where we got i think we’ve got the exact wrong oh there we go we’ll go over here this will do um so yeah i really do enjoy that and if you you know any cool seats guys let me

Know any spawn where you do spawn next to the guardian that would be brilliant so something else i want to show you that a lot of people did like is the rabbit so let’s get the bunny rabbits even see i’m not sure if there’s gonna be rabbits or

Bunny rabbits yes we’ve got the the rabbit egg here so these are pretty cool now they will they can act pretty similar to the way a oslo does and if you go to them they will start to run away and i believe you can feed them i

Think it’s just normal things like the carrots i believe it is let’s just try let’s just try real quick i think it’s a carrot that you feed them as you can see yeah they’ll start to follow you and they’ll love you now if you give them all carrots they will

Start to multiply and then over a certain amount of time so you started with three you will end up with so many bunnies you’ll start to see that they will start to reproduce more bunnies as you can see there we go baby buddy hello little baby bunny do you

Want one of them come on take it your baby bunny you need your foot all right i’m going to put that away because they multiply it very very quick and they’re so much fun it’s so cool to have them now if you kill a rabbit which i’m not

Going to do because it’s me you get all these type of things so this is the raw rabbit you got cooked rabbit you got the rabbit stew you’ve got the rabbit’s foot and you’ve got the roberts hind now you’ve also got um mutton and cooked mutton which i believe is i’m not

Sure what this is from actually i think it’s from is it horses yes it is i think it’s from horses and so more options for food is awesome as well uh now they’ve added different doors the doors a lot of people really did enjoy this as you can

See and they’ve added iron trap doors so we’re going to place some of these downstream differences um let’s just place one here and this is the iron one so if you wanna have an iron doors you can do that that’s up to you i think that that was a great

Feature i wasn’t expecting that to be introduced um so yeah iron doors or iron trapdoors should i say we’re introduced to the game now i’m going to be showing you all the doors here i want to get rid of these let’s get rid of all these we

Don’t need these here um we get the doors let’s get all of these up so let me know in the comment section what your favorite is um to me i don’t know there’s quite a few good ones here and they’re going to be great for decorating

Your house this one which is the dark oat looks like a chocolate block i don’t know it just looks like it really does look like chocolate to me um then we’ve got the acacia uh kind of pronounce that they’ve got the jungle we’ve got the we’ve

Got the spruce we’ve got the iron and we’ve got the normal oak so yeah which is your favorite door i i’m probably gonna have to say i like this one i really do like this one which is the yeah is it the spruce yesterday this

Bruce yes i like the spruce one the best but i also like this because you can see through it which is the jungle one so yeah let me know what’s your favorite one and that’s one thing there’s so many things i’ve introduced i i can’t go over

It we’ve got sponges while they actually do something you’ll notice here that they will get soaked up look at them and then they become a wet sponge so yeah they really are great as you can see it takes away that they should come back yeah they do eventually come back

Um but these are the type of things that you would take to the underwater dungeon just because they’re temporarily good in a way that you can move around still so yeah that’s one thing another thing there was so many we’ve got all of these that we introduced we got this oops this

This this this and this these were all introduced as well so you’ve got the granite you’ve got the polished granite you’ve got the door right at the polished door right you’ve got the andesite and you’ve got the polish on the side now these are the type of blocks you’re going to use for

Your flooring i would say more for flooring and you find these naturally they are pretty common indeed there’s so much to go through there’s so many things they’ve added like red red red sandstone they’ve had ocean monument they’ve added um sea lantern blocks let me get the lantern sea lantern where is

It oh we’re spelling things wrong here where’s the sea lantern at where’s it gone they do have sea lanterns there we go these little things as well as you can see these are the sea lanterns uh what else do we got oh we’ve got the mobs i need to show you guys the

Other mobs as well so let me get them up for you uh we’ve got the endomite endomite where is it and the spawn and oh this is the endomite now they act very similar to silverfish um and they do have some ability abilities i cannot remember entirely what the

Ability is but they react to enderman i believe that is what exactly what they do they respond to enderman and this one’s well off in the water he’s like i’m going for a swim so yeah they do respond to them and they raid you act very similar to silverfish i want to

Show you guys the slime blocks slime blocks where the slime blocks right there there it is here it is now these are my favorite one of my favorite i’ve introduced these are so much fun like trampoline style watch this let’s go oh we landed on the wrong thing there

Let’s go come on let’s try this we want to land right on this come on yay so yeah they’re awesome the slime blocks are definitely one of my favorites um they’ve added so cool so many cool things uh or something else that you guys may not have noticed is with the beacons

Um i need to show you guys the beacon so let me go to block block of iron block of iron i’ll do and show you guys some of this three one two three so we’ve got the different colored iron the beacons effect you’ll notice here that’s normal

And if you get the um the stained glass which is this they change color which is just it’s awesome it’s brilliant i’m going to show you guys what it looks like so the crouch changes color there looks great changes color these are going to be great for like savers who have teams and

The beacons can represent each team like blue or red yellow green blah blah blah i like the yellow one a lot i like in fact i like the black one the best so we leave them like that because they look pretty cool what else have they done they’ve done um chiseled stone bricks

Are now craftable they’ve added custom wood type uh sorry world type they’ve added a hidden debug mode they’ve added uh clone command they’ve added there’s so many things armor stands and they’ve added banners i want to show you guys them let’s start trying out the banners um you probably

Did see some of the banners but they they are here uh you’ve got loads of different colors as well these are definitely one of the main features just get these up so yeah they’ve added these gonna be great for like creating a castle and you can make your own banner

There i believe you can do something to the banner because i’ve seen mojang have their their symbol on it i’m not sure i’ll tell you how it works but you can do it it looks great though it really does look great and the armor stands they’re definitely one of the main

Features that i liked as well where’s the armor stands here we go if you never use the armor stands i’m going to show you guys exactly what they look like let’s place them over here oh that’ll do i’m going to get some in fact we’re going to place five down just

In case uh we’re going to get all the armors where’s the armor we’re going to try chain first we’ll do the chain we go put them there i’m just quickly going for everything guys pretty basic there’s so much more that was introduced and i will have a link in the description

Where you can check it out and you just place all of these on here same with this and they’re so useful they work for enchanted i’m not going to place everything on there i’m also going to get like a pumpkin um you can also place a pumpkin on there

Like so you can place like the heads um the wither skull where’s a skull there it is there it is you can place the wither skull on there and you can pretty much do anything you wanted to so i think you guys get the gist of how it works it’s just great fun

To have something new to mess around with and with every update it also brings a few books and they did say they’re having a few errors with the uh realms but they are going to get it fixed and often working for you all anyway so guys hopefully you didn’t just
