Minecraft 1.9 Snapshot 15w42 – NEW ENCHANTMENTS!

Hey guys and mojang has released a new snapshot for Minecraft 15w40 to a so I am here in the snapshot world to showcase it and there’s quite a bit of new features in the snapshot so let’s get right into it so the 15w40 one area

Is right over here and we are now over here for 15w40 too so let’s start with this chest there is now two new enchantments frost Walker and mending and mojang has classified them as treasurer and chance and basically that means that you cannot enchant and get

These but you have to go find them so let’s start with the frost Walker and chance let me put these on the boots and you can only put them on boots it is a boots on the enchantment let’s start with frost Walker one and you might be

Able to see some of that in the water there so you can walk on water now and it makes kind of an ice-like block although it’s not actually ice it’s called frost and you cannot get it in creative and I’ve also tried it with the

Slash gift come in and it does not work but you can break it with your fist so I don’t know what that’s about so you might be able to notice that there’s a six-block width of the path with this let’s get back on here if I put on the

Frost walk or two it will go to eight so increases the radius by one not a whole lot but it’s a little bit more so it’s Frost walk or two also another thing you can actually do this in the water which you might have saw and it doesn’t go

Away which is even stranger so you can just kind of make all the icy one and it will never go away so yeah that’s really weird but I don’t know I guess that’s how it works so let’s go back up here and I will now get out the amending and chicken so this

Is a special enchantment I don’t know if you can put it on armor and have it work very well but you can put it on stuff like pick axes and swords so if I get a pig here go into survival all I will lose some durability on the pic by

Hitting the pig and if I kill it and then pick up the XP the pickaxe will now be repaired and the thing that is happening here is that the XP orbs that I’m getting are repairing the pic and i’m pretty sure every XP orb gets you to

Durability for your pickaxe and it only works if you’re holding the item in your hand that you want to get repaired so if i hold up shop and kill a pig it’s not going to give me any XP for the pic but if i hold the pic then i will get the XP

For it and I will repair it Oh something else i should mention you will not get XP for your XP bar if you do this so if you don’t want to repair your items and you just want XP you might want to kill that pig with something alright so let

Me go back into game mode 1 and in this chest we have all the boats and this is just a small change and they haven’t made the crafting recipes for the other boats the boats are now faster and can turn a little easier so if I get in the

Boat now you’ll see the turning is a bit easier and the boats are quite a bit faster which I’m very happy about personally I thought they were kind of slow and as you can see the turning is a little bit easier and yeah so that’s the

Boats not a huge change but I’m happy about that and that show the last change right here so push change it a little bit so normally you would use only water bottles actually let me break this put it back so normally you just use water bottles and

Then you can put in your nether wart but now that does not work and that’s because you now need blaze powder for it so if i put a blaze powder and it will now work and as you can see there’s a little blaze rod type of thing right

Here and it actually waste a it has a little bit of durability so I tested this actually it’s 30 tries before you need another blaze powder so that’s kind of interesting and you will notice it went down a little that time when I put in the melon and it actually just goes

Down when you put a potion ingredient in so you better be careful about when you’re deciding what potion make you just you don’t want to put like a melon and then take it out then put like a gold carrot and then take it out because it will waste your blades powdered

Durability and you don’t really want that so we got the healing potions now let me just throw these out so that’s pretty much all the changes in the snapshot like I said it’s quite a bit of changes shipment some boat changes and some pushing changes I like these
