Minecraft: A New Adventure! | Survival Island 1.17

Minecraft survival island limited food limited resources and limited space will we be able to survive and most importantly will we be able to beat minecraft well today let’s find out hey hey what’s up guys jwisp here and welcome to minecraft survival island well uh here we are and

There really isn’t much so this is minecraft’s survival island we don’t have a lot of food we don’t have a lot of resources but we’re gonna try our best to survive thrive and to see if we can beat minecraft now i’m sure if we play our cards right and do things well

We will be able to beat minecraft but let’s see we should still be able to have a really fun adventure along the way and do lots of really cool things now looks like around this island there is some fun things to explore we have the monument over there let’s see what

Else we can see under the waters of the ocean surrounding our island oh okay i think that’s a rune portal i don’t see any shipwrecks but oh there is a pretty big ravine there okay maybe we can get some ores that whoa oh yo is that a geode okay i think there is

A shipwreck right there so we’ll have to go explore that in just a little bit but look right over there is a geode and then right there is another one under the water and there’s one right there so there’s so many geodes i wonder

Hmm it might be kind of cool if we could make some sort of underground base within a geo that might be cool we have very limited space on the island so that means we might need to expand to other islands or even expand under the water and create underground bases i think

That’d be pretty cool so on this island we do have a few animals we have some wolves so when nighttime comes maybe we’ll take out some skeletons and get some bones to tame them but there really aren’t too many resources besides that there is thankfully uh

Some grass here so we can get some seeds and get a farm going because i don’t really think we’re gonna have much food every animal we get we’re gonna have to spare so we can make a farm in the future what we’ll probably have to do is

Collect some grass around here and make a big platform to try to spawn some mobs on there so we can get all the mobs we need we’ll need at least two cows two chickens and probably two sheep i don’t really care about pigs but yeah sheep

Will be really useful so that we can get ourselves some wool so that we’ll be able to sleep but until we have wool we won’t be able to sleep and considering this island is you know it’s a decent size but it’s fairly small uh we’re not gonna be able to skip the

Knights which means that we’re gonna have to take the enemies head on and try our best to survive i think the first few nights are going to be really rough but as long as we can survive the first couple nights you know get ourselves a little bit of armor maybe a shield some

Weapons i think at that point we’ll be pretty set but let’s keep collecting some basic resources and trying to get ourselves ready and prepared so we can survive the first night in minecraft okay this shipwreck might have some good stuff for us so let’s try to check it

Out i’ll have to be really careful here i don’t want to accidentally drown or get hit by a drowned so we’ll have to watch out for enemies but let’s get right above the entrance of the ship here and then try to make our way down hopefully there’s some good loot

Hopefully i’m not doing this for nothing but let’s be as quick as possible oh there’s a chest right there and okay some papers there is a buried treasure map let’s see if we can get another chest while we’re down here can we nope we’re gonna have to go back up for air i

Don’t want to drown no no no no okay we got it we got it let’s just breathe for a bit before we go back down okay let’s head back down and try to find some of the other chests this whole ship is upside down so it’s going to be

A little bit tricky to navigate through here but i think we can try our best okay there’s another chest and uh oh okay we got some moss blocks that’s pretty good moss blocks you know they’re pretty cool they’re a new block with 1.17 i haven’t really built with them too much yet but

We’re good let’s see there might be one more chest or there might not be so let’s try our best to try to find it i’ll have to be really careful around here we’ll just keep doing swim checks down and down and we’ll have to see any hidden chests around here

You get this one yeah we did okay i think that might be the only two chests i’m gonna have to be quick getting out of here because i’m gonna drown pretty soon okay there was that little back portion so let’s check that out let’s see if there’s any chests down there i’m

Making myself nervous this is pretty intense just just to open a chest but look uh we don’t have much daylight left which means we have to be really careful one final dive let’s do it let’s get down here swim through here come on come on come

On anything over there oh i think we just have to break this block okay try to break this oh we’re not going to be able to do it is there another way we can get down there without breaking a block i don’t know there might be a trap door we can get

Inside let’s see if we can do that it’s making me really nervous we’re wasting daylight here okay can i swim inside here oh yes perfect yo okay acquire hardware okay that was pretty fast i have to be really quick i don’t have a lot of hearts uh oh oh

Don’t die please no i can’t tell my first night no okay we did it okay so that was close but thankfully we survived i didn’t even really see what kind of items we got from the chest because i was i was rushing so much i was so worried

We’re okay though let’s head over here to this little planes area of the island make yourself a crafting table and sort of get ourselves situated you know start making some tools don’t really have anything yet i was just trying to collect those resources but i also desperately desperately need food so

Let’s see actually i don’t even need to make the wooden pickaxe because look we have 15 irons so let’s do this of course an iron pickaxe let’s make ourselves an iron sword and then let’s make ourselves a shield of course and then what else i have nine iron left let’s do

An iron chest plate for some good armor and then you know make one more iron again i think that’s a predating okay that’s a pretty good start we’re only a few minutes into this and look at what we have already let’s take the suspicious stew see what potion effect we get oh yo

Okay that was pretty sick well anyways okay looks like we have besides that we have some okay items so let’s put the uh let’s put the moss down now one really cool thing we can do is once we get some bone meal maybe from taking on some skeletons or something or

If we get a composter uh we can actually bone meal the moss and get some pretty cool blocks we can get azalea bushes and some of those fun new blocks and stuff like that so i’m gonna leave the malls in the ground just there really fast and

I’m also gonna work on collecting some seeds i wanna make ourselves uh some bit of you know a tiny little wheat farm just so we can get a good food source like i said i don’t want to kill any of my animals right now because i don’t

Really know what i have and i don’t know how long it will take animals to spawn especially things like cows chickens and sheep you know i don’t want to have to drag them hundreds of blocks from another island so we’ll have to work with what we have let’s also replant our

Sugar cane at the shoreline so we can get that growing for immediate enchantment table and okay things are going pretty well on our first day i thought uh i thought i would have to worry but it looks like things are going all right but nighttime is approaching

So we have to hurry up and get ourselves stacked up when we can all right nighttime is quickly approaching so what i’m trying to do is you know make some basic tools and uh i want to get myself i want to start working on that wheat farm so i’ll start collecting some dirt

And stuff like that and we’ll just have to be very careful about it if mobs try to attack us uh i think i’ll be ready let’s get the shield put on now the main thing i said we have to worry for is skeletons skeletons are going to do a

Lot of damage and also creepers zombies and spiders won’t be too hard to take on i think they’ll be pretty easy but also we don’t have any food sources so that means that every time i take damage it’s gonna be uh it’s gonna be very bad for us if i really need to

Escape the enemies i can try to you know go in the ocean kill some fish and maybe get some that way but oh i already hear some skeletons let’s see oh i forgot yo with the skeletons the dogs are gonna attack them anyway so here’s what we might have to do we might

Have to just hope that we can get ourselves some bones and perfect no bones from that you know and then oh okay sweet there’s some cool down here i was gonna say if we don’t get cold we’re not gonna be able to skip the night anyways and that’s gonna take

Too long to mine uh but if we can if we can at least tame one or two one or two of these wolves that’ll really help us oh why are there so many creepers okay let’s just run away let’s just run away uh if we can at least tame

One or two wolves that’ll really help us because they’ll help us defeat any enemies that try to attack us there’s so many creepers though oh oh gosh i can’t spread anymore i really have to be careful with the creepers i don’t just want to have to hide on top

Of this tree the entire night but i don’t know what else i can do he’s a sneaky one there’s just so many creepers i don’t know maybe the only thing i can do is hide up at the trees and hope that i don’t fall because i don’t know what to

Do i think i’m trapped up here do i have any any food sources i have one tropical fish i could sprint for a little bit if i needed to um huh is there anything i can do i could go to that side of the island it looks pretty safe

Uh maybe okay maybe we’ll try to go under the water like we saw before and try to get that coal because that might be that might be our only chance even though it’s gonna take a long time to mine that’s the only way we’re gonna be

Able to uh not die during this nighttime we have to light up our island to make sure we stop any future mobs from spawning oh boy that that does not look good okay well we can uh try to mine this coal these zombies might turn themselves into drones but uh

Yeah that’s uh that’s their problem okay i’m gonna have to be very very careful with the way i do this so i’m gonna place some blocks here just to hold me up while i’m mining this coal let’s try to take out these zombies first see if we

Can do anything if we have to we’ll eat their rotten flesh maybe that’ll be my food source that’s the only thing i can think of okay we took them out even if we can get one coal ore that’d be good i don’t know if we’ll be able to even mine

It in the time oh okay yeah i was gonna say i don’t know if we’ll be able to mine it in the time that uh my bubbles will run out but looks like looks like we’re pretty solid okay we can get eight torches from this which

Means we can light up even just a tiny portion of the island and try to defend ourselves okay let’s light it up right there uh let’s go right over here let’s go right over here okay sweet oh i can’t spread any more i can’t get too close to these mobs i have

To play it safe okay if i go in the water i think that’s my safe space i think that’s my safe space uh and let’s light up this little bit right over here and i think that’s all i can do i don’t wanna take fall damage okay let’s head in the water oh

Boy uh oh uh oh we’re gonna have to run we have to run he did so much damage is it almost daytime um it’s only the middle of the night i’m terrified right now and i have no idea what to do i guess if i really need to okay spiders

Move slow in the water i might just have to stay in the water the entire night i can’t risk taking any more damage but if i can find any fish any fish at all oh like that over there i can take them out for food now the other issue is

Though i don’t want to swim too much because swimming is also going to just diminish my hunger even faster but let’s see if we’re i don’t even know if we’ll be quick enough to catch these fish let’s see they’ll only take one swing of my sword but it’s gonna be really hard

To aim for them okay we got one two okay sweet we’re doing it we can get these cods okay we’re making good progress i know it’s probably better to smell them than to eat them raw but i really just need food right now let’s take out these tropical

Fish and see what we can do i know i can also cook kelp and use that as a food source that may be a good idea i don’t have enough cobblestone but maybe i can mine some cobblestone and then mine a little bit of coal in that uh side of

The hill there and then use all that and i should be good to go because some of these tropical fish are uh are really hard to catch they just move so quick okay let’s click this kelp and try that okay here’s what we’re gonna do crafting

Table and then we have the furnace okay so now we can at least smell some food let’s smell a little bit of this kelp first i know you can eat it i don’t think it’s going to restore a lot of hunger but at least at least it’s something we don’t really

Have any options right now unless we want to hunt down these really tiny fast and hard to kill tropical fish which honestly doesn’t sound like fun to me but i don’t know oh i’m so low on hearts here i’m really nervous okay let’s take him out boom we got him

Okay let’s start eating this dried kelp yeah it really doesn’t feel much hunger but it’s something it’s something at least we’re getting some food in pretty soon we’ll be able to regenerate can i eat anything else oh i have one raw cod okay let’s start regenerating some hearts

There we go and look it’s almost daytime i think we will hopefully be able to survive our first night in survival island also we have to take out this drown so let’s be careful all right well we successfully survived our first night now we still have some things to do i

Want to get some sort of at least like tiny starter house going also where is that wolf i want to see if i can tame this dude i only got one bone but i always love it when they love me on the first try so boom now we have a

Companion if you have any cool name suggestions for our little doggo buddy here let me know down in the comments below we’ll have to come up with a cool name for him but what i’m doing is uh i’m just smelting some kelp using the uh

The ugly birch wood to smelt it since i don’t want to waste my coal yes at least birchwood finally has a use the use of birchwood is smelting kelp but kelp will be our food source at least for the time being and we’re going to try to get some

Wood for a house and also collect some of this dirt so we can make some sort of tiny you know offshoot island for our farm all right well it’s daytime and i’ve got a good portion of the island lit up which means that we should be safe when nighttime arises in the future

But for now i think what i’m gonna do is take some of the what i have uh and build myself a little bit of a sort of beach hot this is just gonna be a starter house for our first day in the future we’ll make some bigger grander

Based plans but for now just a nice little hut so we have somewhere to call home for me and my dog over here All right i’ve done all the dirty little detailing work and here we go this is our little starter beach hut have all of our stuff here have our chest with our very limited resources and i think things are going well for us i’ll show the outside of the

House we have our dog here again if you have any cool name suggestions for him i don’t know maybe something beach or island themed that would be cool but yeah here we go just like a small little hut you know nothing crazy i can’t really do much because i don’t have a

Lot of resources but i worked with what i could and i used those two iron ingots i had for some uh some lanterns which look pretty nice but i’m gonna do now is what i was gonna do all along and what we’re gonna do is have ourselves a

Little uh one two three four five six let’s go eight blocks uh a little bit of a wheat farm and i actually think we should be fine if all i do is uh let’s just go right next to it here and place it like this all of it

Should be able to be saturated if i just place it like this uh with no water in between you should be chilling i think we’ll be all good yeah just keep going like this i’ll leave like one water block there for example just so we have water every now and then making sure

That all of this will be saturated and this will be our little farm i don’t know why i’m building the farm off from the main island i could build it sort of attached to it uh but i don’t know i think it fits pretty well so let’s just

Do this and we’ll plant it with seeds and hopefully within the next couple episodes here we won’t be stuck eating dried kelp which you know is a reliable food source but uh you have to eat it very frequently and it really doesn’t fill up many hunger bars it’s quite a uh

Quite an annoyance and then boom a seedy place we can get our seeds placed and we should have a pretty good food situation in the next few episodes here but that is going to be all for today’s episode hey we got a little oxladdle saying goodbye in the video we’ll have to
