Minecraft Amplified Large Biomes Preset Tutorial

My Hello everybody how you loved it doing today today i’m going to go ahead and show you guys how to create a world type within minecraft called large biomes but it’s amplified large biomes i’ve done this already once already twice to be precise and i’m going to show you all how to do this

Yourselves okay first things first is you’re going to need a program called nbt explorer that well you can’t see because my webcam is in the way all right you’re going to need a program called nbt explorer so once this thing hovers over this for a little bit you’re gonna see mbt

Explorer pop up down here um if we hop up on the internet here real quick we’ll go ahead we’ll look up that for you we’ll do caps lock nbte so you guys can see that and where you’re gonna find that not on the minecraft forums where you guys are gonna find that

Is on github and it’ll be right here i’ll post that link in the description you’re going to click here you’re going to go here and you’ll find the latest releases for this because we’re recording i’m having some latency right now and let’s just go ahead and leave that thing b you guys can

Head over there you can download that link for right now i’m going to show you how to create an amplified large biomes preset within minecraft because you can only do this through nbt edit so first things first is i’m going to turn off my webcam because we’re going to experience

Latency while we do this alright so fire up minecraft wait for it to start of course depending on your computer it may or may not start right away my computer’s a bit slow and it sounds like a jet engine right now because my heat is up to 70 degrees in the house

All right let the game go ahead do its thing i’m gonna go ahead over here real quick i’m gonna try something um ads source game capture minecraft let me try something here guys and there we go so you guys might be able to see that all right so there you go here’s

Minecraft for you guys in-game hud is available i’m not sure what that’s all about i’m going to go ahead and click on this you guys see we got custom right here i’m going to go ahead and delete this delete this we’re going to do another one because i tried this already and i

Messed up all right because my audio wasn’t on we’re going to go ahead we’re going to turn on my caps lock again we’re going to do custom okay i’m going to go ahead and turn cheats on i’m going to leave everything else alone except for one thing i’m going to type

In a seed of 700 okay i’m gonna hit done i’m gonna hit create new world wait for the world to start up because i need all of the world generation settings okay you’ll see why here in just a bit some point in time today minecraft that sounded like my coffee mate just

Got delivered by the uh well it’s not coffee made it’s those little uh cups that go inside your coffee caramel flavored just got here i can finally make a pot of coffee all right come on minecraft load sometime today so what i just loaded is a default world terrain um it’s

Pretty much just going to give you your general overall default terrain within minecraft all right um we’re going to wait for it it’s going to say joining world yada yada yada and you just need this stuff right here to generate okay immediately right off the bat as

Soon as you get inside the game you’re going to go ahead hit save and quit the title it’s going to say saving world what that’s doing is it’s saving the chunk data to a file okay we’re going to go ahead options resource packs open resource pack folder

And go ahead and send this thing down below hit done and done and quit the game because we’re gonna need that file open okay quit the minecraft launcher if that thing pops up and give me a second here please logitech webcam and desktop here i am

Right here guys down here in the corner okay now that we’re back let’s go ahead let’s open up nbt edit all right so now that this thing is open i know this stuff seems a little bit tiny to you but you’re going to see this thing called custom right here

All right this is your world it says custom it’s all in capitals all right ignored a thing called region we want to go to this thing called level.dat we want to open up level dot dot we want to go to data world generation settings we want to go into dimensions

We want to click minecraft over world we want to click on generator we want to click on biome source and right inside of here guys we’re going to click on large biomes where it says large biomes equals zero we’re going to click on that we’re going to type in one

And then hit okay all right the seed is 700. now if you’re curious as to where amplified goes in at it goes in here where it says settings over world now if you’re curious about why this goes here we’re going to open up my world right here where it says level.dat

Data we’re going to go into the world generation settings um the overworld generator and you guys see where it says settings right here minecraft amplified and if you open it up even further large biomes so what i did with my minecraft lp is i swapped it over to large biomes

Amplified it has a combination of two plus the beta terrain inside of it so it has two different terrains plus a third one of 1.2.5 pretty easy peasy if you ask me so we’re gonna head back down here below where it says minecraft over world under settings double click on that

Just make sure you delete only to the o delete the o a m p l i f i e d uh make sure you don’t do that in caps a-m-p-l-i-f-i-e-d amplified hit okay hit this save icon right here that’s all that you need to do is that go ahead and close this

Now remember that file folder i told you to leave open i want you to click on minecraft then i want you to go to your saves this is your custom font this is your custom save right here that you just made i want you to go to your region file

Right here click on everything in here because this is all those regions that my graph has just saved pay close attention now we’re gonna go ahead and we’re gonna delete all of them we’re gonna go ahead of my recycling bin after i just closed that and we’re to delete them now

I’m going to go ahead and launch minecraft just one more time [Laughter] all right so just shut up just shut up hit play all right let’s close up my uh logitech webcam just one more time let’s turn off our desktop and wait for it sometime today minecraft we’re waiting for you

Oh for goodness sakes we’ll just do this for right now okay um there we go we got it we got it we got it we got it all right now we’re gonna go ahead we’re gonna hit single player and we’re gonna hit play on custom pay close attention to where you spawn at

The world’s going to generate now pay close attention to what happens when you spawn because remember you spawned on the surface in the other world in the first time right now watch where you spawn at this time because remember you deleted all those region files and i made sure commands were turned on

For a reason because as soon as we get after we uh watch what happens i’m not even going to spoil it we need those commands turned on for a reason so just wait for the world to generate here it goes [Laughter] wow lucky you didn’t have anything in your inventory [Laughter]

All right now that we did that let’s go ahead let’s do it forward slash uh set world spawn right there okay so it is set pretty much a zero zero but it’s right on the surface you kind of needed that for right there which is pretty much

Yeah it’s at zero zero but you kind of really really needed that and welcome guys to large biomes amplified amplified large biomes turn my tv down here a little bit i didn’t realize it was so loud but yeah and to prove furthermore prove this let’s go ahead out let’s see what this

All looks like i’m gonna go ahead hit forward slash game mode creative hit f1 all right let’s go see what the world looks like guys remember i don’t have exactly a beefy computer i can but i can fly around better in survival but let’s take a look at this mountain

Look at that guys hehehe you’ll be able to scr fold down here just a little bit but as you continue to go out it’s still large biomes if we hit the f3 key and hit the f1 and have a look my fps is not the best in the world okay

It’s a little bit better once i start getting up and walking around but just pay close attention to the biomes guys we’re in the planes and the planes biomes goes on for quite a while but the thing about this though guys is the plane’s biomes is very very

Big within this uh seed okay let’s go ahead turn that thing off if anyone is familiar with the seed 700 you know right off the bat that there is a village over yonder that way so let’s go ahead let’s head over that way guys there should be a village over that way

And all you have to do is just follow the river to get to it you’re going to see a large mountain this biome in the distance here’s all the mountains that one kind of looks like a big goat or something of that sort but here’s your birch forest

Here is your plane’s biome so if you wanted to build a flower farm for all the blue flowers in the world you can still do that your river it’s kind of chopped up but it still looks good and there’s your village right up there y’all see it and there’s your village chilling right

Over here in the distance all you have to do is follow the river look at this house just chilling right up here on the pillar right there let’s just go over here we’ll just chill like right here just look at this little village guys it’s all quaint it’s just chilling right here

Hello little bee so there you go guys there’s your little village houses right there comes with your iron golem some houses down here and it’s all plains biomes this is all large guys it’s the large biomes and look you even got some horses at horsey um so

Just showing this off to you guys large biomes does work with amplified it’s a hidden preset for the most part you just have to kind of figure it out on your own and i did so i don’t know i don’t know what you guys would call this

But it does go on for quite a while um there are quite a few many villages in this area i have this in a modded lp um i just haven’t yet been over to it for a while um yeah this is i just don’t have this stuff right here

This right here is nice this looks really cool right here just shrink down come down right a little bit now this right here is what i’m imagining the mountains to look like if i can just get down on the right spot this right here is what i’m
