Minecraft: BATTLE PETS (GIVE YOUR PETS ARMOR, WEAPONS AND SKILLS!) Mod Showcase

Oh god here comes all the zombies save me please there’s so many hey guys it’s Pat and welcome back to another mod showcase and today we are going to take a look at the useful pets mod I know in vanilla minecraft you can have a wolf in Ocelot but they kind are

Boring and there isn’t too much you could do with them but with this mod it adds so much customization and honestly it’s really awesome so a couple like small things I want to show first is exactly what they can eat and when they eat food of course it will recover their

Health and actually they’ve added a pig as a pet as well which kind of makes sense I feel like they should just add that I mean you should be able to tame a pig alright so the first one the wolf he eats steak and pork chops the cat will

Eat chicken and fish and the pig will eat carrots and I’m actually going to tame one right now one thing you’re going to notice guys is you are going to have this a pet wand and actually tells you what to do left click a vanilla tame pet to convert right-click a block

Defined converted pets you own and right-click a converted pet for more help and this actually you don’t have to craft it which is awesome right when you start your world it’ll automatically be in your inventory which is pretty cool so all I really need to do is find a pig

And then left-click him and now I’ve tamed him which is kind of cool and the wolves and the cats first you actually have to tame him the normal way like I gave him a bone to tame him now he is a real pet and so much more awesome I did

Tame an ocelot do you know they’re so annoying to dame there it is give me a kitty there we go and now that is my pet as well so you can actually have as many pets as you want should probably like have them get up stand up

And come this way get all my pets together and yeah you can really customize this it’s really cool and I’m actually gonna name the wolf I’m gonna go with that use my name tag right here and now it is destroyer which is pretty cool alright so I got all my pets around

And the whole fight for me and you could have like a million you could have a hundred pigs in an army if you really wanted to not sure why you’d want to but you could so guys there’s some pretty cool features with this wand all you

Have to do is take it and right-click any block in the entire world and then your pet tracking will come up you can see their exact positions mention their level in their names so yeah there is a leveling system and it’s really cool to a bunch of skills all

Kinds of cool stuff and I did love them up just to test some stuff out alright so here we go one of the pets if you right-click them it gives you some information left-click a convert to pet with this item to attempt to level it up and basically this means once their

Experience is like all the way up you can level them up but you also need a block of coal and then like the next level like two blocks of coal and so on so it can get a bit expensive but in creative you can just kind of just do it

You left-click them bam he leveled up which is good for testing at least and now if you check this out you can see he’s level four and you’re probably wondering like what’s different about him he still has 20 health alright so this is what you’re going to want to do

Hold left shift and then right click your animal and this pops up you can see how it says skills right here there’s a spot for a saddle as well so if I click on this a skill tree will open it is really cool if you’ve played RPGs before

You probably have seen something similar so I’m going to go over most of these the combat attacking damage of a wooden slash golden sword so you want to be stronger given this BAM and you know you can upgrade even higher to like diamond sword strength but there are some

Requirements like being level 10 so very cool you can get them extremely powerful I’m this one over here inventory slots so you want inventory slots for your pet you can do that and then you can like unlock more stuff like even more slots um armor they can actually wear armor it’s

Pretty crazy and even put on a weapon alright and over here allows eating so you automatically have that and you can make it so they can eat like many different things like you need anything eventually even like eat gross food like rotten flesh this was pretty cool too

Keeps creepers away so they won’t go near your pet and you can make it so like spiders – and even undead and stuff like that so yeah there’s a lot of options here and let’s say you want higher defense go with that 10% increased defense and you can get like

Iron and diamond and fire immunity breathe underwater let’s see what else here feather falling they can jump while you’re riding of course it’s on like mountable right now and some cool stuff you can make them go quicker and even faster than that – and it could swim while you’re mounting them

Which is kind of cool and this one makes it so they can like still I go underwater like go all the way down to the bottom of the ocean while you’re still riding them so there’s a lot of different options and finally this one right here actually does increase the

Health of your pet so you see right here they need to be level seven and I can actually increase their health so we’re gonna do that right now I’m gonna level you up so I can like show all this stuff eventually don’t run away don’t you want

To be leveled up there we go so they’re at max level right now and if I go back into that will go to skills and get some cool stuff here all right so increase their help by five hearts and by another five hearts you got to go with that right let’s see well

Make them strong extremely powerful and equip armor and be able to quit weapons need that stuff all right so to have the inventory slot already here allows the pet to eat from its own inventory that’s cool you can actually put like you know food in its inventory and it will

Actually eat it when it needs help all right let’s see here which ones do we want all right so I’ve already gotten this swimming we need that and provides immunity to suffocation and drowning damage and descend and ascend in the water all right so that should be pretty

Good for some like testing purposes so now our pet is awesome another good feature of this mod is you can’t kill your pets like accidentally you know you don’t want to accidentally hurt them and this is awesome I hate mods where I can hurt my own pets

It drives me crazy I don’t want to kill you accidentally and I’ve bad aim sometimes so now they’re safe and my pigs got 40 health stronger than ever and there is some other cool stuff we can do too so there are these these right here these claws and with these

Claws you can actually like them give it to them as a weapon they don’t actually wield swords if you’re watering they don’t we have swords so I can give him one of these and now he’s gonna be stronger let me get him a saddle and

Some armor – so guys I got a mossad hose so we can ride him around and some diamond horse armor it might be big for a pig but he’s pretty tough you can handle it alright here we go so now I can ride them around and it’s set so I can like

Go in the water and stuff and guys I did want to point out if your pet dies they really die they don’t come back it happened to me before I had a horrible fall into a ravine and it was bad and you can see I can actually like

Go underwater and then like climb back up which is pretty cool the way I said it and you actually can make it so they can jump while you’re riding it too is one of the other like talent points but yeah pretty cool and of course these

Guys can fight which I’m about to show you guys next so guys I did want to mention the claw covers actually do not have a recipe and I’m pretty sure how you obtained him anyway on the mod page it didn’t really say how to actually get

Them but I did notice when I was playing in an in survival and not creative when I leveled them up I did get like a reward when I leveled them up so my guess would be that you actually get these as a reward when you level up your

Pets which is pretty cool actually I like the way they set it up alright guys it is time for some combat and this is basically how it works the mob actually has to attack you for them to go after it so if I hit this spider it’s going to attack me and all

My pets are gonna get extremely pissed kill him awesome the pig like owned it so badly it was ridiculous right here we go keep attacking them and they’re gonna gain experience from fighting like this it’s gonna be extremely useful it’s all I guess 7 had

To be from the pig he’s got his weapon on so at nighttime they are gonna pretty much own everything let me see if I can get like a bunch of these suits on me at the same time owned a pig he just hit 411 how sick is that so yeah

When you level them up day like gets so powerful you know what the weapons on plus their armor is really high too and even like fire like immunity and stuff like that is going to make it so much easier so guys it is time for a true

Test can they save me from all these zombies like you’re out at night it should be a good test to see how powerful they really are all right here we go no weapons at all against them they’re coming guys guys guys they’re coming oh god here comes all the zombies save me

Please there’s so many look hit all these so they should attack them there they go the pigs right in there trying to fight owning up to look at those hits this is how strong they are so yeah this should be helpful even against like modded mobs and the cool thing is they

Actually don’t go after your pets really I mean making a hit by like a skeletons arrows but they still they keep aggro on you which is awesome cuz then they’re kind of like totally own them without dating any damage what do you guys do it can you not reach that zombie he’s right

There oh god little one so guys there is a couple more things I want to mention just like normal animals a pig if you right-click it will sit down so look how funny it looks what it sits down looks ridiculous but yeah if you want to sit

Down and not to follow you around you definitely could do that and one more thing I totally forgot to mention this it was like right at the top of the screen I can change the texture of some of these a pig you can’t change but you can actually change some of these

Alright so the cat can come back here they’re so hard to manage alright so this one I can have it red Siamese black normal Ocelot so pretty cool a bunch of different like choices and how you want your pet to look of course and I can do the same thing with

The wolf alright come here luckily I had him sitting down and for this one I could switch him to angry which is pretty cool and tamed and on the wolf so I’m gonna keep them as angry looks so much more awesome so yeah couple different like customization options right there so

That is about all there is to show with this mod you can get three different pets and they have cool like leveling up systems and all kinds of unique abilities which is pretty sick and abilities are the same on every single one so you can choose whichever one you
