Hello everyone suddenly here and welcome back to another bedrock edition tutorial today i’ll be showing you how to build an ultra simple wither skeleton and another fortress farm in your bedrock edition worlds this nether fortress farm is incredibly easy to build and the nether there is no redstone whatsoever Using this farm you can get up to 267 with the skulls every two and a half minutes and this farm uses the new spawning mechanics in 1.19 where mobs can spawn directly in another portal the mob spawn directly into another portal and get instantly transported to the Overworld removing them from the mob cap and allowing us to get insane rates with this farm in the overworld we have a intimidating looking kill chamber but i promise you it’s pretty simple and straightforward and this allows us to separate all the mobs and also kill all the weather skeletons with a charge Creeper or with looting three whichever one you prefer if you feel like it you can also add a frog light farm onto the side of this with a skeleton farm and that will give you a surprising amount of frog lights from all the magma cubes this nether fortress farm gives you all These standard nether mobs that you want such as wither skeletons skeletons blazes magma cubes and zombie pigmen as well you get 13 unique items from this farm and that doesn’t even include the junk items that the mobs drop you can use this form in single player on realms Servers or with multiple players this is also a great experience farm because every mob that you’re killing it drops a little bit of experience and you’re killing a lot of mobs the rates are pretty insane so on average you’ll get roughly 16 and a half thousand mobs per Hour with the upper end being around 18 000 mobs per hour 18 000 items per hour and you’ll get about 18 with the skeleton skulls every two and a half minutes if you kill them using looting or you’ll get 231 with the skulls every two and a half Minutes if you blow them up with a charged creeper on average that means you can get about 6930 with the skulls per hour using charged creepers or up to 8 000 with the skulls an hour if you get really lucky with some good rates these rates are Approximate but they give you a good idea of what to expect as you can see we got a lot of weather skeletons up at the top here and when you are ready to kill them you just flick a lever and they all get sorted down and into the blast Chamber when they’re down here you can either smite them with your sword they’re basically a one hit kill if you have sharpness five the better way of doing things is to kill them with a charged creeper though because then every single wither skeleton drops a skull so if you have a hundred skeletons In there you’ll get a hundred skulls as you can see we just got a stack and twelve with the skulls from that little bunch of weather skeletons this is an incredibly efficient way of using the farm and i would highly recommend using charge creepers they’re honestly not that hard to get if you Have a lightning rod everything that is a with a skeleton goes into the left side trident killer and gets automatically killed for you all the loot from your mobs will be collected down here into your storage and of course you can customize this and set up a full storage system for all these Items you can build this farm any size that you want so if you want a tiny little farm that isn’t very laggy you can just build like one or two another portals and if you want to just completely go overkill then build a farm this size and let’s take a closer look At the farm shall we this is really all that it is a series of nether portals here at the nether fortress and the nether and that’s that’s it each one of these orange spots is where the mobs can spawn in the nether fortress they will spawn right here be inside of the nether Portal and then get instantly teleported to the overworld if we turn the farm on nothing is really going to appear to be different because the mobs only blink into existence for a quarter of a second or so you’ll see them like flashing into existence and then going to the Overworld so it doesn’t look like anything is happening but we already have dozens of mobs in the overworld if we pop through this nether portal we’ll see them and there you go as you can see we have a ton of things over here a couple dozen with the skeletons and a Lot of blazes so everything that you see with this farm is all there is there’s literally just these blocks and then the nether portals and some slabs that is it that is the three components of this farm the only downside of this farm is that there’s no way to turn it off Besides breaking these nether portals this with a skeleton farm only relies on two basic game mechanics to function one of which is a baked into bedrock edition and will never be changing so first of all we’re relying on the fact that mobs spawn on the northwest corner of blocks So if that’s north and that’s a west that means that mobs are going to be spawning on the very tippity corner of this block right here for example or you can envision this as spawning between four blocks because that’s that’s basically what it is in practice so that Means that mobs that spawn and these spawn spots will be spawning directly inside of the nether portal essentially the second change was introduced in 1.19 and this allows the nether mobs to spawn in higher light levels such as that from another portal so that means that nether portals no longer prevent mobs from Spawning next to them so we can have them spawn directly into another portal which is extremely convenient this takes the complexity out of wither farms and other nether based farms however it moves that complexity to the overworld now the thing that you need to focus on developing is the actual kill chamber And the overworld sorting out the mobs and figuring a way to kill them and sort out all the different items on bedrock edition this is relatively simple we’re sorting out all the mobs from the wither skeletons blast chambering the weather skeletons but of course there’s always some complexities because mobs love to Glitch through blocks and fly into the ocean and the large mapping cubes will basically always jump out of this kill chamber so you’ll have some of those bouncing around the area causing you a couple minor problems but they shouldn’t be too big of a deal and let’s hop into The tutorial for this nether fortress farm shall wait for your convenience there’s gonna be a materials listed down in the description of the video that way you know everything you need to build with and there’s also gonna be a world download as well on my website silentwhisperer.com there’s a link down Below for your convenience this tutorial is going to be incredibly straightforward because this farm is super simple and very similar to my previous with a skeleton farm it’s honestly about like 85 percent the same so my previous tutorial has an absolute ton of information that you will need to Know if you do not know what you’re doing definitely go watch that video to figure out how to find your nether fortress spawn spots and how to build the overworld kill chamber this tutorial isn’t going to be like a full in-depth explanation of everything that you need Because i already like did a whole video on that you can just go watch that so the video link is in the upper right and down in the description on screen right now are the times of the previous tutorial that you need to watch in order to have all the information necessary or If you’re just a professional mad lad and you already got all this stuff done just power through it i’m sure you’ll do fine so once you’ve found all these spawn spots that you want to use for your fortress farm you should have those marked out with your marker blocks and You’ll need to lower them down to the same level they’re technically spawned columns so you can use these at any layer that you want to within the like range of the nether fortress so you’re fine to lower them down to the same level so we’re going to be building our Nether portals going from north to south and they’re going to be on the west side of these spawning spots if you’re ever confused about what direction is which you can place down a sunflower these things are always facing east so to the left of this would be north and so on And so forth as you’re working on this build i would highly recommend that you put a slab on top of every spawn spot that way nothing spawns and tries to kill you as you’re building this farm so we’re going to start at the north end of the farm and start building our nether Portals going from north to south now these are extremely straightforward you just want them to be standard three tall nether portals going the length of your spawn spots so from here all the way down to the end one thing to keep in mind is you cannot have the corners of Your nether portals be diagonal to any of your spawn spots because that would prevent the mobs from spawning so you need to bump a block out to avoid preventing mobs from spawning so with that information in mind just go ahead and make these nether portals as long as You can they can only be 21 blocks long in total or 23 if you count the little end barriers so that’s our first nether portal installed to the west of the spawn spots and that is really all there is to it you need to install another Portal to the west of every single spawn spot in your entire build and then once you have that done these guys are going to be ready to go and this is what it should look like once you have all of your nether portals in a place it really Is that simple now we need to spawn proof everything so you need to put slabs on top of all of your nether portals including in the little divots and then you need to cover the entire floor of this area in slabs as well so all of this stuff needs to be covered in Slabs basically everything that is in this entire area and needs to be spawned proofed with slabs so go ahead and cover all of it and this is what it should look like once you have everything slapped in your area when it comes to building the afk spot it’s incredibly Simple all you need to do is find yourself a spot that is far enough above the farm that you are not preventing any spawns and somewhere we’re not going to be loading an excess amount of the another fortress or you know parts of the nether no matter what you are going To need to do some spawn proofing in the area like on top of the nether fortress so prepare for a little bit of grind if you decide to use the texture pack from foxy no tail that will show you the spawning spheres for simulation distance of four worlds and then you can easily See where mobs can spawn nothing spawns inside of the green sphere and nothing spawns outside of the red sphere so linking up all these portals to the of world is fairly simple as long as all these portals are within a 28 by 28 square you should be fine so that means That if you have any excess spawn spots on like the very edge of the farm you probably won’t be able to use these so with the previous design i was able to use this spawning spot and then a couple extra these guys over here but this farm Is so much faster that it is totally fine it doesn’t matter if you’re missing a couple spawn spots so get all of your nether portals within a 28 by 28 square find out where the exact center of all of your nether portals are find out the coordinates of that block multiply them By eight and then go to the of world and build another portal at that location and all the nether portals that you have here in the nether should automatically link to that portal and now you need to go build the overworld kill chamber from the previous video i did a full block Block tutorial for it over there so you can just go ahead and get that built up and it should look a little bit something like this with your linkedin nether portal there in the middle if you want to turn this into a frog light farm It’s super easy all you need to do is pop out this block right here and put in an upper trap door and then you simply turn that into a water stream that goes far enough away so the water you know stops flowing get yourself a two by two Area full of any type of frog that you want some hoppers underneath them and that is your frog light farm a couple random items can end up in this area along with some experience from the trident killer so just come over here every now and again grab the experience And maybe get your random items and of course the detailed instructions on how to use this entire monstrosity and get the charge creepers and all that stuff can be found in the previous tutorial basically everything you need to know about this farm design is over there now i would recommend doubling up the Storage system or from that tutorial to give yourself the two hopper lines underneath this hopper minecart just to make sure that you’re actually collecting items fast enough you also need to get a player portal installed so that means that you need to go roughly like 50 or so blocks away from this farm And up in the air a little bit next to your afk spot this player portal will take you to the overworld and it will not be linked to the overall kill chamber at all as you see the kill chamber is way over there there is one more important detail about this farm is That you need to do properly so because our overworld player portal is all the way over there you can’t just walk from that portal to your kill chamber otherwise all of your mobs would despawn so as you can see i’ve marked out some chunks here so this is as far as you can Walk it towards the farm without the mobs of despawning from here you need to ender pearl to the farm aka teleport to the farm and this will allow you to use the farm in a single player without all of your mobs in your kill chamber despawning so all you need to do for This is mark out the chunk that your farm is in as you can see that’s that purple square right there and then whatever your simulation distance is you build out another number of chunks so i’m on sim4 so i built out four chunks if you’re on sim Six you build out six of these and then you add one additional chunk to the end of it and this is where you teleport from if you’re playing on like sim six or eight or something you might need to teleport from up in the air so maybe Build up yourself like a big ladder or something that way the ender pearl actually reaches all the way to the kill chamber you can learn more about this technique in my ghast farm video that i did a couple of months ago if you have any questions comments or concerns then Of course let me know in the comment section down below and if you enjoyed today’s tutorial then of course consider dropping a like as it helps out the video on the channel a ton if Materials List! PER SPAWN SPOT! Size of farm determines materials needed:) 20-30 slabs per spawn spot 10-15 obsidian 1 marker block (and temporary slab to block spawns) You’ll need hundreds of slabs for spawn proofing the area around your farm. Spawn proof 44 blocks in every direction of the afk spot, if you’re playing on sim 4!
