Minecraft: Bedrock Edition | Better Death Animation Command Block Tutorial

What is going on everybody and welcome to another minecraft command block tutorial video today i decided to update the kill counter with better death animations all in vanilla minecraft just using command blocks no add-ons or resources or anything it’s always recommended to use behaviors and add-ons and stuff especially in the

Bedrock edition but a lot of people have been asking just for command block stuff so i made a really cool one and there’s a couple different things that i added into this so i’ll show you guys a lot of different cool things you can do and some like examples that i didn’t add

But you know i’ll give you guys in case you wanted to do it so let me show you what i’m talking about basically so i’m in survival i’m going to spawn in a pig and we’re going to just kill this pig and you guys can see that i have a skill count

And i now have a kill streak because i hit five so i get a speed boost and uh it spawns in this like uh bone skeleton with like blood and stuff underneath the head that’s real weird uh you could turn the blood on or off i have a little section over

There so it’s up to you you can even spawn in the uh bones if you want if you don’t want those to spawn in and you just want the soul particle you can do this for multiple different entities here uh it does detect when they’re dead and when they’re live so

Let’s just kill these guys up right here boom and get this guy so yeah and oh i also uh did it to where they do rotate sometimes so they’re not always going to spawn in the same position and they despawn over a few minutes so i have a timer set for them

Let’s get this guy here uh so you guys can see his head’s this way his head’s this way so it’s pretty neat i don’t know i like this kind of concept uh it’s not 100 accurate but i mean it’s bedrock edition commands so you guys already know

Um but you guys can see that the keel is 12 so if i spawn in like say the zom it does work for every mob by the way so if i kill a zombie uh you see 13 and it spawns them in it does work for pretty much everything

So i’m just gonna do summon um i don’t know a chicken i guess yeah let’s just do oops something and we’re going to do chicken so let’s just summon a chicken boom and it worked for the chicken too and i get 14. so uh it’s pretty neat yeah it does work

It’s not like i said it’s not 100 effective but it it is pretty neat uh so let’s go ahead and take a look at the commands so uh game mode c all right uh so the first thing is i do have different objectives so you guys can see i have a

Kill i have a timer and i have and a live score so when something is alive they will be given on a live score and i have a timer when you kill them and it spawns this in it has a timer here and this timer will then go to 300 before it despawns

Basically and this is all vanilla by the way guys this is armor stands i’ll show you in just a second uh but 300 and boom disappears pretty neat and of course it goes up on our kill count so we’re at 15 now so let’s go ahead and take a look at

Some of the main commands the main commands are right here it’s just these three four and five five so there’s only five main commands the rest of the perks uh so i guess we’ll start with this one so this one is going to be doing a scoreboard players add basically everything that’s

Not a player you can add the player if you want you know this to test with players you’re going to just have to change up the armor stand a little bit but this is more of i guess like a pve kind of counter with animations this really

Isn’t how i would go about for the player i would give them an item you know and then when they die the item drops and that’s how you would count the player or the levels this is more for entities yeah that’s a little bit easier

You can always put an item in their head slot and when they drop it but there’s only a chance that they will drop it so i guess it’s both of them are somewhat kind of effective at the same time but this one’s going to be giving them

On a live score it’s just going to add them to the to the scoreboard objective up alive and then as soon as that happens it’s going to look for any entity that does have an alive score which is basically everything except for an armor stand and the player and experience and items

Uh you probably want to put like paintings or item frames or whatever they are as well but it’s going to summon an armor stand named bone you can name it whatever you want 0.3 inside of that entity so it’s going to be very very close call

As soon as that happens this one is going is that a fail no okay uh this one’s gonna be executing at e scores at a live zero so any entity that has an alive score of zero it’s going to scoreboard players set at e the live zero to an alive one so

It’s basically going to set itself to one if it didn’t for some reason i think needed it’s just super like an extra and then this one over here is executing an e type equals armor stand uh named bone so this one is the one that we summon as soon as they have a

Live score and this one is going to execute a e uh scores alive within a five block radius and it’s going to teleport the bone point three and it’s gonna keep it spinning because this is how we’re gonna do the head rotation uh but this one is basically summon it

It’s gonna summon at point three and we’re going to keep it at point three as long as they’re within five blocks of the if the armor stand name bone is within a entity within a live score of one within five blocks it will then teleport itself within one block of itself to 0.3

Which i’ll show you in just to say actually i can show you now let me break these uh so i’m going to summon this pig and that’s what it’s doing um why might you ask that i don’t go up or down like before well because minecraft’s broken so for now this is

About as good as it gets because if you change it it’ll break but for now you can have as many as close as you want and it’s not going to break as long as you keep these chords you can change them up a little bit by a few points

But i would keep it about that yes you could break the armor stand and it will break the whole machine yes but if you just attack the mob like normal survival it’ll work and it has the cool soul particle yeah isn’t it but that’s how that works

And then this is just summoning the bones which is a structure exactly like this and then a particle down here that’s basically how it’s done i don’t like you no you can’t live either so once those are done this is the second main command or the

Fifth i guess fourth fifth this is gonna execute e name equals bone it’s gonna detect point two of grass this is kind of where it gets a little annoying so you’re gonna have to have quite a bit of command blocks if you wanna execute at every block but i did the most common

Since it’s on a flat world um i would do grass dirt stone gravel sand you know those kind of things and then that’s up to you depending on how you want to do it but this is just detecting if it’s about to hit grass so because the entity is spawning itself at point

Three inside of the entity itself when the entity dies it immediately will execute this because it drops it drops by a point one uh yeah and then it’ll teleport it to the void and kill itself and then if that happens it does the same command but runs a

Structure command that loads the bone that’s if you want it you could create your own structure or whatever it’s just armor stands like before so if i did structure structure load bone and then we set it here you can see that’s all it is i

Put this in the world and i saved the structure to this this world it’s not like in an add-on or anything is actually saved so this is how it will work um and that’s what this command is so it’s the bone load and then that’s the second main these

Are the main commands and that’s the killstreak good stuff so let’s go ahead and take a look at some of the other the bone load structures so these are effects these are just giving the armor stand health boost regeneration fire resistance stuff like that that it might encounter inside of the world itself

This one’s giving it invisibility this one over here is giving the bone structure armor stands and visibility so that little bone section all of these with the different names are given invisibility to the load bone and these bones are teleporting in its area so this is what gives it the head with

The two bones next to it this is just teleporting them there so they’re always going to be like that inside of the structure after it loads and don’t just fly everywhere which might be cool if you guys want that i guess but these are just teleporting commands to based off the

Main placer bl placer armor stand and then we have the head rotation for the uh bone load structure so this is to rotate it so these are all going to be the same thing but this last one here is 50 so when it has a timer of one so the moment

It spawns i give it a timer i guess i’ll show you guys that one first so this is the timer so it adds the name h1 which is the main placer for the structure for the bone load in and it’s gonna add it to one and then after that it’s just gonna go

All the way to 300 before it teleports all of them to the void basically and then once that happens like i said it comes over here and when it’s at one it’ll randomly rotate either at 50 a 100 a 180 and a 250. so it’s gonna constantly play these and then when

It’s passed it’ll randomly select one basically so if i summon this back in and you guys can see we’ll kill the armor stand so it’s facing this way so let’s summon another one in and it’s facing a slightly different kind of angle but yeah you guys get the idea

Sometimes it’ll face this way that way this way which makes it more kind of realistic based on how you kill it um this is the blood effect for after the head rotation so it’s looking for the placer which is head too let’s look and then it’s going

To just play the particle at redstone or dust particle in the looking direction 0.1 of it since it’s in the middle of the entire formation it’s going to look like there is blood underneath the head kinda i don’t know you guys could probably come up with a

Better blood than that but that is you can’t really see it because of the armor stance but when they’re invisible you can see kind of see it right there that’s how that works uh and yeah so you could just delete that command if you don’t want the blood

Uh other than that that’s this is the soul and it does the same thing it’s looking for the grass and it’s just playing the soul particle so it looks like their soul is leaving and they left their body behind now another another thing was i was going to inside of the structure

When you kill the entity and it spawns this in i was going to have a already tamed horse named body and when you crouch and click you would be able to interact with it for a few seconds and take the items out you guys could do

That if you want it’s not that hard you just add it to the structure and you’re done the rest of the commands would be there uh instead of naming the one armor stand h1 you would just name the donkey or the horse that the other thing is the kill count

So there’s only one command that adds the kill count and then these are the streak commands for that you saw at the beginning with the speed effect when you hit five kills so we’re going to execute e name bone and then we’re going to detect the same thing that’s all repetitive commands

Scoreboard players add at p kill one so it is looking for the closest player which is kind of bad but it’s commands if this was add-ons then we would have a lot better opportunity and options to be more precise and accurate but then none of this would even be a thing

Because you could just make animations mobs and stuff this is just commands so the kill streak is pretty easy it’s just going to this this is the first one so it’s just gonna do if a player has kill a five it’s gonna then add them to the timer score

So not only is it for mobs but the player also gets a timer so you guys can see i’m already added to the timer because i’ve already had five kills but then that’s what it’s based off of then if the player whenever whenever the player gets a timer of 50 to

Infinity or whatever it’ll affect the player when they hit 50 with speed for a few seconds um then this one over here is we’ll reset it to zero and then this one’s gonna give you another keel so it doesn’t constantly keep it in a loop if you only have five

Kills and just run around with endless speed um it’ll just give you an extra free kill but you have to get the fifth one in order for it to do it and this is just to say i mean you can make it all fancy but this is just saying kill streak

And uh actually i need to set that because it’s at 50 and 50 stays for a few seconds but yeah that is pretty much it i was going to put it inside of this cool decon colored command creation thing but i wasn’t sure if you guys wanted to download or not

Uh so i just decided to show you guys all the commands and these are just the you know sidebars here so alive but yeah that’s what it looks like whenever you give them the effects and if you load in the structures and it works for all them so we’ll just summon in

A couple piggies here and boom you guys can see that the alive score went away and placed it and this one’s alive live score went away placed it so it’s pretty neat i don’t know i like it it’s different and it’s command blocks so but that’s pretty much it for the
