Minecraft Bedrock Edition Cold Temperature Command Block Tutorial

I’m gonna be showing you guys a new kind of feature that I added with vanilla minecraft called cold now I am implementing a heat system that goes along with the cold this is gonna be like a two-part series type of thing with this one but I’m gonna show you

Guys the cold one first and then on another episode I’ll show you heat so I could go over all the commands show you how it works and everything like that so basically at night time you are given cold every player is given cold your

Cold will go up it goes to a score of 1,000 if it reaches a thousand you die pretty much because you froze to death you do overtime get different effects like slowness mining fatigue hunger blah blah blah you know you can update that and change it however you want but to

Introduce the new cool campfire we have where it actually goes down but if it’s a night time it just keeps it the same so you actually have to stand on top of the bed because for some reason when you sleep in it it doesn’t work so you get a

Bed and it will reset it for you if you’re in water it will go up as well so you’re gonna have to do that so let me just go to time set day just to show you so I’m at 198 and if you get in water if

You get in snow or ice let’s get ice let’s get any ice it doesn’t matter cuz I have them all let’s get some snow it doesn’t matter what snow so yeah if you have snow and you stand on top of snow and your main during a snow biome you’ll

Start to freeze if you’re in ice you’ll start to freeze it’ll go up now like I said if you’re near a campfire during the day it will go down slowly on its own you can stay on top of it during the day I’m gonna reset it for

You which is an awesome way so carrying around beds and campfires will make the cold effect a lot you know more fun it’ll change the way that you play regular survival for sure and these are all the commands I started the heat system right there but these are all the

Commands for the cold system like I said you can change up whatever it is you would like I’m gonna go ahead and show you how to build this right now so first off you’re going to want to add a scoreboard objective called cold dummy once you add that you can do the set

Display on sidebar for cold every player is going to be added to one only if a certain thing like this executes it all detect if that players in water if it does add that player like you could do add at self actually instead of add it

All at itself cold one so if I’m over here and I’m in water it’ll still go up because I’m adding itself they’re all at all but you could change the arguments yourself now this one is a daylight sensor but at nighttime when it’s nighttime it’ll detect and it will

Basically add all players to a cold of one constantly during the night now these are all the same thing as the water except for it’s doing snow like I said change the argument to itself I forgot to do that just did it at all because I’m all alone in the world

And then we have the snow layer we have ice we have packed ice we have blue ice and anything else that involves with cold when you’re standing on top of it or inside of it like water it will give you a score constantly over time now mmm

Be bed I guess is this one so basically whenever it detects that you’re on top of a bed any kind of bed it will reset it or it will set your score whatever your cold is to one which is pretty cool so I’m at 30 so if I get on top of the

Bed boom it will set it to 1 and over here is the executed all scores with a cold of 1 it will clear your effects so any effect you get why you’re cold say you’re almost about to die and you get on top of it you sleep you warm up you

Will actually clear all your effects and you’re ready to go inside of your survival world now these two are implementing the system of making sure it doesn’t go negative or over so this one’s executing that you’re cold as soon as you get to 998 it will set you to a

1,000 and whenever you get to 1,000 it’ll set you at 998 so technically you never go past that unless you kind of you know glitch the system or there’s or something now this one is executing it all scores with zero it will set you back at one and then this one over here

If you somehow get to negative one it will set you back to one as well now you can add more of this in a variety so that you’d never get over or negative too much you can play around with those but that’s kind of to not let you go

Past one so when I’m standing by this it doesn’t go into the negatives for removing it and now these are the effects so whenever you are gaining cold if you have a 900 score of cold it’ll give that player slowness and this one will be weakness like I said you could

Change whatever you want you can change the scores depending on however much you want anything like that if you get to a thousand it gives you instant damage and you die so you do freeze to death so it makes you want to play the game a little

Bit different now these two are just giving you the title score that says find fire now and this one is a score of 900 so once you see that you need to fire like right then and there this one is around 600 so about you know a little

More than halfway us that you need some fire to kind of give you an inflammation on you kind of need to go find some fire yeah so those go ahead and check this out real quick let’s go over here I’m going to show you this inflammation so I

Have 40 if we come over here it starts to go down which is awesome and that’s what this system right here does mm-hmm so excuse me I’m kind of sick but execute at all and then execute itself so basically saying you the player not all players but you the player feel

Barrier zero replace a campfire so it’s replacing that campfire super quick like ultra fast with a barrier and then this one’s a conditional always active chain and it’s replacing that barrier with the campfire and it’s not too many people have a barrier you know running around in their world that’s

Totally okay it’s not that big a deal and then this one is remove a tall cold one executing all players you know remove cold one so this one’s conditional as well so anyone near it pretty much gets an eight you know when subtracted but that is the

Coke system you could play where I’m with it you know implement whatever else that you guys would like to see added to it and all that I’ll see you guys in the next video don’t worry I have the heat system I’m getting it set up to where

When you drink potions or water or anything like that it does get your heat down and your cold and heat will fluctuate and it would be really cool survival I might even make a map for you guys that implements the cold and heat I don’t know yet but yeah let me know in
