Hello everybody welcome back to another video and this video i’m gonna be showing you how to use structure blocks in minecraft bedrock edition so first of all how do you get a structure block in minecraft the only thing you have to do is use this command right here give yourself A structure block and we’ll also show you how to use the structure void in combination with the structure block if you happen to like this video then please make sure to leave a like and consider subscribing to my channel for more awesome minecraft videos like this one now let’s get Started with the very first thing we have to do with the structure block so structure block can copy over builds so for example we have this small build over here next to the villager outpost we’ll do this one later on but let’s sort of this small structure over here So just place a structure block over here and you will see a small bounding box appear and if we right click the structure block we will see this gui there are three modes save load and 3d export for us save and load will be the most important ones since 3d export Really doesn’t do much except for give a 3d structure file of your structure so we’ll first have to save our structure and give it a name so let’s name it cage for example and of course this is not correct you don’t see the cage over here so now we need to change this Bounding box to be around the cage we actually have so to do this we can’t use a detect function sadly it doesn’t just work yet or i did something wrong it’s also possible if you can get it to work please let me know in the comments how you did it But what we have to do is change this up so actually the best thing to do is to remove the structure block and place a new one over here as it’s already in the correct space then and we won’t have to change a lot about it so let’s re-enter cage and Let’s change the size so it needs to be one higher and automatically updates the preview over here so that’s very awesome and i don’t actually want this bottom part so i think we can change this to five and this to just one and there we go we Have the structure we also have some air around it and air inside it so there’s a couple more options over here we have include entities so you can include entities inside here we’ll put some entities inside later on and remove blocks actually just removes all the blocks inside your structure so You don’t want to do that then just keep this and save in memory and bounding box is just a visual aid and now we have this we can click save over here structure saved and now we have our structure saved we can go somewhere else in our world You certainly can’t change this over to different worlds yet in java edition that’s possible but in better condition than sadly not possible yet place another structure block over here then go over to load mode type in our structure name which is cage it should become white as this and here We have a couple more options as you can see we have integrity seat rotation and mirror so integrity is the amount of structure you want to load so of course normally this is just on 100 but we’ll change it up later on to see what happens then You can also rotate it but as our structure is symmetrical that doesn’t really work same with mirror we’ll i’ll show that later on as well let’s just see what happens if we load this structure over here load and there we go we loaded it and There it is so it’s not on the correct position we can still lower it of course so let’s put this on zero load again and the only thing you have to do is just remove these top blocks and there we go we cloned over the structure over there all the way to Over here and it looks nice next let’s go for something a bit more ambitious so now let’s do the entire villager outpost over here so place your structure block down here as you can see it needs to go up a couple of blocks at least So let’s put the y offset at 1 and then increase our size dramatically there we go i think we got it now i have some villagers in here as you can see you can see them roaming around in this preview as well so let’s give it the name Pillager outpost and let’s save it now let’s go over here and try to load it let’s go load pillager outpost and now we’ll see the preview of where this is going to appear and what i’m going to do is put it in the ground like this and you’ll see that There’s a lot of ground in here so let’s see what happens to that of course you want to include the entities and let’s do integrity 50. so we’ll see that only 50 of the build is being copied over let’s rotate it as well and it’s loaded And now this looks a bit strange but only 50 of the blocks have loaded of course the villages are here because we included the entities and as you can see the ground beneath it is still there as well now let’s try this again with different settings let’s load the pillager outpost Let’s remove the blocks this time and place it once again a bit in the ground let’s keep the integrity at 100 and let’s mirror it in the x direction so let’s load as you can see nothing happened and this is because we had removed blocks over here on true so We put this off load it there it is the entire pillager outpost has been copied but as you can see it’s mirrored the chest is on this side over here but on this one the chest is on that side but if you want to keep the stone around here that’s also possible And that’s where the structure void comes in handy so of course i’m not going to do all of this but you can place these like this as you can see and this will make sure that the blocks that were there at the loaded place will stay There so the quickest way to do this for your whole build is actually using the fill command let’s go over here fill this coordinate and go up over to the opposite corner fill in the second coordinate do structure void and then replace air i think we’ll just need to add a one Over here then replace air and there we go we all have structure voids they actually have a blue texture this time which i don’t know why that happens i hope it still works so now we’ve replaced all the air with structure voids as you can see Due to compression is not going to like this i think so let’s save this again and now let’s go over here where we had our mountain let’s load pillager outpost once again go into the ground this time let’s do a rotation 90s this will rotate your build Load and no i don’t think it actually worked with the structure voids i think there’s just a bug with the fill come on sadly so using the fill command should be possible in the future but for now you actually have to place all of these manually very sad but i’ll show you that It actually works when you just place them normally there we go a big string of structure voids save and a load pillager outpost once again let’s rotate it 90 degrees and load we go and you will see that by the structure voids where the original blocks have states all these stone States so this can be very useful if you try to place for example structures underwater and you want the structure to actually be underwater that’s where the structure void can come in very helpful so the place where you put structure voids the blocks at the place where you load the structure Will stay the same of course we also rotated the structure so now the chest is over here and the stairs over here and if we stay in the same rotation and fly over to the original one you will see that the structure rotated by 90 degrees which is of course obvious But it actually worked i actually want to show you the rotation and mirroring a bit more so we have an arrow over here and a pillar of cobblestone so let’s just call it arrow save it and let’s go just right next to it so we can see the differences So let’s load arrow and let’s first mirror it in the x direction load you’ll see that it mirrored like this we can also mirror it in the z direction and then the cobblestone pillar is on the other side rotation can do something similar let’s rotate it by 90 degrees Load afc is rotated let’s do that again to 180 degrees here’s 180 load and we’ll see this okay let’s try the rotation again because i also had the mirror on let’s try 90 degrees first so this is the 90 degree rotation as you can see and then now let’s do the 180 degree rotation and then you can see it’s actually different from just mirroring because then the cobblestone pillar would be on this side instead of on this side so you have all these options and it’s very useful to make cities and stuff like that you can have The same skyscraper but turn it around mirror it and do all these kinds of things let’s also see the integrity a little bit more so we have just cube of blocks as you can see it’s full of blocks let’s save it and let’s go over here Put it up into the air and let’s change the integrity from 100 to for example 80. we can also fill in a seat this will change the blocks that will be loaded but let’s just load it it automatically gives it a seat and there we go we have the one with integrity 80 so 80 percent of the blocks have loaded let’s reduce that to 50 load it again and there we go we have the one with 50 over here you see that there are a lot less blocks than when we had 80 and now let’s just do a very small Number to see what happens let’s just do one load and as you can see only two of the blocks loaded so in the original there were 125 blocks and only two of them loaded over here of course you can get more or less let’s try this again you will see that it Won’t be the same here we go we’ll try one again as you can see there’s a different seed and this time three of the blocks loaded and that’s not the same as over here but if we get this c over here that we had previously copy it over to over here new place One and paste the seed now you will see that it actually is the same as the previous one so that’s how the integrity works you can actually also use redstone to load and save the structure so we have the pillager outpost here once again some redstone wire running into the Structure block let’s activate it and there we go it loaded the pillager outpost so you can do this by just placing the structure block going over to save for example let’s call this empty and instead of clicking save you can also do this by giving it A redstone signal so there we go now it saved it i haven’t clicked save myself let’s go over here and go up into the air a little bit so we can actually see it happening there we go load empty and again give it a redstone Signal and there we go as you can see it saved this part over here and over here it loaded it without me ever clicking save or load over here just by using redstone so in this way you can actually make the player reset for example a certain area in your map By making them click on the lever or stuff like that and so it’s easy that the structure blocks can also be interacted with by redstone and that’s how structure blocks work if you have any more questions or structure blocks or structured voids please let me know in the comments down below and then I want to see you in my next videos until then bye bye Video Information

In this structure block tutorial I’ll show you everyting you need to know about the structure block! The structure block has two main modes, save and load mode. You can save structures and load them somewhere else in your world. You can rotate structures using structure blocks and mirror structures. The structure void makes sure that when you load a structure, the blocks that were there in the first place also stay there! You can get the structure block by using this command: /give @p structure_block You can get the structure void by using this command: /give @p structure_void 👕Buy My Mug or Merch 🡆 https://teespring.com/stores/maxstuff 🧡Become a member 🡆 https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzkqOdzxj4wY7BmWdXWueoA/join 👍Subscribe to my channel 🡆 http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzkqOdzxj4wY7BmWdXWueoA?sub_confirmation=1
