Minecraft Bedrock: Simple Gold Farm Tutorial! 980 Ingots/Hour! Tutorial! MCPE PC Xbox PS4

Hello everyone sally here and welcome back to another bedrock edition tutorial today i’ll be showing you how to build a new gold farm in the nether of your minecraft world overall this gold farm is really basic and really simple and it’s actually upgradable over time so if

You want to start small and just build a couple of platforms you can totally do that and then as you get more resources you can upgrade the farm to get even better rates overall this farm uses some very basic mechanics such as turtle eggs to draw all the zombie pigmen into one

Area they fall down a hole take a bunch of damage and then get killed by some trident killers so we get the looting three effect from this farm meaning that we get an absolute ton of items from all the mobs that we are killing this farm doesn’t rely on any bugs or glitches

Whatsoever so you don’t need to worry about this farm breaking in future updates and it should be reliable long term because this farm uses looting 3 we get a fair amount of drops from all of our zombie pigmen so this farm will give you about 10 200 items per hour total

And then that’ll also equal about 980 or so gold ingots per hour if you break that down into gold blocks you’ll get nearly two stacks of gold blocks per hour so overall definitely pretty solid and overall just a good little farm so i hope you enjoy this and your bedrock

Edition worlds so let’s take a closer look at this farm shall we this thing works pretty simply and uses some pretty basic mechanics so i think anyone can understand how it works as you can see we have a four spawning towers around us here one to every direction of us you

Don’t need to build every single tower if you don’t want to you can start off with just one tower and add more later if you feel like it as you can see every tower has a total of six spawning platforms that means that you’ll usually get about six zombie pigmen every time

You see one spawn because it’ll spawn one pigman on every single layer of the farm so that’s pretty nice these platforms are made out of magma blocks because only zombie pigmen and magma cubes will be able to spawn on these platforms and that means that we don’t

Need to worry about gas or the normal pig lens at all so that’s pretty convenient there these platforms are specifically shaped so that no matter where a zombie pigman spawns they are immediately attracted to the turtle egg in the center of the farm these guys really want to crush that turtle egg and

We have this little setup here in the middle to force the zombie pigmen to step around to this side they think that they can stand on these coral fans right here just like a trapdoor so they fall directly down this hole take a ton of fall damage and then fall into our

Trident killer now the trident killer of course is gonna make quick work out of these guys so pretty much all of them will be a one hit kill and of course as long as you’re holding a looting three sword when standing at the afk spot you’ll get the looting three effect

Applied to every single mob that you kill on your farm resulting in two and a half times more drops than you would normally get this farm is also specifically designed for a simulation distance of four so you can build this on any server realm or world that you

Happen to be playing in without needing to do much if any spawn proofing as long as you find yourself a good lava lake like the one that we have here if you’re playing on a higher simulation distance then you’re just going to have to do a lot more spawn proofing and that is

Simply the nature of playing on a higher simulation distance and building a farm in the nether so let’s talk about the rates of the farm shall we this farm right here on a simulation distance of four will get about 986 ingots per hour and that’s honestly pretty solid nearly

A thousand that means that you can get about ten thousand two hundred total items per hour from this farm and that means that you’re going to be getting a lot of golden swords you’re gonna get so many of these things do not throw these away do not throw them into lava you

Want to throw them into a furnace or a blast furnace smelting these down will result in one golden nugget per sword and then of course that is going to give you a lot more gold from your farm you get two double chests of swords every five minutes so you really want to be

Smelting these down other ways you’re basically just throwing away the rates of your farm so this farm isn’t perfect of course it does have a couple of cons the main one being that there’s no way to prevent the magma cubes from spawning as you can see we get magma cubes in

This farm the small and medium ones that you see there aren’t really that big of a deal they’ll usually just hop off the platforms and then despawn the large magma cubes can get stuck between the platforms but they too can also fall out of the farm and despawn either way even

If they don’t jump out of the farm they will randomly despawn within about 30 seconds and they don’t really have that big of an impact on the farm so i’m usually not too worried about them i did a rate test over here with a couple of commands to automatically kill the magma

Cubes and we went from about 930 ingots an hour to about 1030 ingots per hour so as you can see they don’t really have that big of an impact on rates and honestly i’m not too worried about them and of course this is not an xp farm

Either this is purely a for loot you can technically get a couple of experience points from it by smelting down all these swords but that doesn’t that doesn’t really count so moving experience and the nether is a kind of a nightmare and i haven’t had any luck from some basic initial prototyping as

You can see a moving experience doesn’t really want to get moved it’s a very uh inconsistent process and slime launchers don’t really work so i’m not entirely sure how to do that at the moment a really silly but possible solution to the no xp issue is the fact that you

Could use a minecart to automatically take the player around to all four of the trident killers and then you can simply pick up the experience through the corner of these blocks as you can see there so if you feel like setting up a minecart rail to kind of take you on a

Little adventure it is technically a solution when you can’t take the experience to the player you take the player to the experience you might be wondering if you can add more towers or build more floors on your towers to increase your rates and i’m here to tell you that no you cannot do

That what i show in today’s tutorial is basically the maximum that you can do from my testing to get the best rates so this world right here has eight towers and this farm gets about 600 ingots per hour and even if you only have four towers but those towers have more than

Six floors each then you’re still going to be losing rates and missing out on drops simply because the towers will be too tall and the zombie pigmen will be dying by time they get to the kill chamber and let’s hop into the tutorial shall we so before we get into it

There’s a lot of resources down in the description there’s a full materials list for everything that you need to build this gold farm there’s a world download and there’s also a bunch of other resources that you’ll need as well such as links to chunk base to help you

Find a good biome to build in a video on how to find and mark out chunk borders in your world for chunking lining this farm a tutorial for a turtle farm that way you can get turtle eggs and also a coral farm if you need to get a bunch of

Coral fans but this farm doesn’t require that many so you can just go to a coral reef biome so check the description for additional resources and materials that way you know everything that you need to know going into this build the first thing that you need to do is find a

Proper area to build this farm so what you’re looking for is a very large lava lake or even just a medium-sized one will usually work fine if you’re on a simulation distance of four you also want this to be another waste biome the nether waste biome is just the old

School generic nether biome with nothing really special going on so it just looks like you know that and one thing that you’ll notice is that there’s no particles in this biome if you’re seeing any particles of flow through the air then you are in a wrong biome and this

Farm it cannot be built there and this is pretty much what you want right here you want a nice wide open area with not many floating areas or ledges around that and you want to be pretty much dead center of a lava lake so about right

Here is a really good area to build you might have to remove some of these small edges around the area to prevent mobs from spawning on those once you’ve found a suitable lava lake to build over you want to go to the roughest center of that lava lake and then we’re going to

Be building up two different platforms the first platform is going to be down at the bottom and this is going to be a very temporary platform that’s going to help you build the rest of the farm so this is going to be a y at level 69 and

This is really just going to help you build up the underside of the trident killers your item collection etc the upper platform is a little bit more complicated but it’s still fairly straightforward so this platform is going to be built at y86 and this is where your afk platform is going to be

At your afk spot’s going to be on that gold block so we need to mark out four different squares which are going to be marking out four different chunks of the world before you mark out your chunks you want them to be going from the south

All the way to the north so place down yourself a piece of dirt and then a sunflower on that sunflowers will always face east no matter what dimension they are in so if we face that way right there with the sunflower we know that that direction is east if we turn to our

Left then that is north i’d recommend maybe building a little pillar over there that way you always know where north is anyway you want to mark out your first chunk which would be is this one right here and then mark out another chunk to the north of that and then mark

Out two chunks to the south of that for a total of four chunks marked out like so and now we want to figure out where our afk spots gonna be going so go to the center of your two central chunks right here and then you want to mark out

The four by four that’s in the center of that of course the chunks are 16 blocks wide so that’s not too difficult and basically we’re gonna be standing on the block that is to the lower left of this when you are facing north aka the south westerly block so stand right here when

You’re afk at the farm and this is going to be the central point of our entire build now that we know where our fk spot is we’re going to start building up the actual farm itself so you want to go downwards to your temporary platform and

You want to go directly beneath your afk spot and put in another marker block you’re going to be counting from this marker block so make sure it is perfectly lined up with your afk spot above it so we’re going to be going to the north by 34 blocks so counting from

This block that is one that is two and then three four five and once you’ve bridged out 34 blocks we’re going to put a little bit of a marker block here on the end and this should be at y71 when you’re standing on top of it so facing north

Once again we’re going to put a little two by two square to the back side of that lined up like so and then we’re just going to surround this with another layer of blocks this is going to be the very bottom floor of your trident killer we’re going to pillar up from this

Marker block right here until we get to y level 79 and that should be about right here break that block and replace it with another marker block and this is going to be the very center of your magma block spawning platforms and once you know where that central marker block

Is going to be going you want to build out 10 blocks in every direction so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 and of course do this on all sides once you have the plus sign in place we’re going to expand this and

Turn it into a rough circle so expand it going four blocks to the right like so and then you want to go in by two blocks like that and then you want another one block and then go out by another two blocks and then go out by another four

Blocks like that it’s a little bit complicated circles are weird but basically do that same process on all four sides and that is going to be the exact shape of your spawning platforms this is exactly what your circle should look like when viewed from above so make sure that you’ve built everything

Exactly as i have shown here once your circle is perfectly built we’re gonna go ahead and fill in all the air spaces with magma blocks so once you fill in all of the air spaces you also need to fill in all these blocks that we used to count as well absolutely everything

Should be made out of magma except your central block we still need that one and that is our circle filled in with magma and our first spawning platform complete we’re gonna go to our central point and turn around facing our afk spot and then we’re just gonna remove these four

Blocks right here and that little bit of a t shape we’re gonna go ahead and build up the basics of our central turtle egg sanctuary so go ahead and remove all the blocks surrounding your marker block we’re going to go ahead and put walls in all of those places and then walls all

Above the back side like so a solid block there solid block there slab above that one and a slab above that one replace your marker block with just a regular solid block like so and then we want a coral fan on the side of that one

Coral fan right there there and there as well now that we have that finished we’re gonna head underneath the build and finish up the trident killer so what you want to do is place a piston right there right there there and also right there as well fill in all the gaps on

The edges with the two solid blocks each and then we’re gonna go ahead and place a solid block above each one of the pistons and go ahead and place in a dropper in each one of the corners of this build as well you want to place in

One observer facing each one of the droppers and this will create a clock which will then power your trident killer so place yourself a lever just like on this solid block right there and as you can see all those ones will be going around so that is pretty much the

Trident killer dawn although you will notice that this block right here is directly above an observer or at least it should be that is perfectly fine what you want to do for that is grab yourself a redstone torch off of this solid block place a solid block up and next to it

And then get yourself one piston right there so any zombie pigmen that fall down as this little block right here will be pushed directly into the trident killer this keeps the system very simple and prevents us from needing a custom trident killer for this design now that

This is installed you want to go ahead and face upwards and we’re going to install some glass of walls to keep our zombie pigmen from escaping so you want a glass block underneath that wall underneath that block and underneath that wall as well place glass blocks there there there and there and right

There as well and then basically just extend all of these going as far down as you can until they hit the trident killer it’s a little bit hard to show what exactly it should look like but you’re just trying to guide all the zombie pigmen into your trident killer

Like this so once you have that done go ahead and place some slabs above that dropper there these three blocks this a dropper and of course of that solid block as well and that’ll prevent things from spawning on your trident killer so that is the foundation of your gold form

And your first spawning layer completely done we now need to build five more spawning layers going upwards and all of these spawning layers are going to be two blocks apart that way zombie pigmen can of course spawn so the easiest way to do this is to simply go to one of the

Corners the furthest out edges place in two temporary blocks and then a magma block crouch on top of that and then simply place an outline following the circle that you already built below so you don’t need to do any counting you don’t need to mark out any additional

Circles all you need to do is build up that first spawning platform and then you can just kind of like duplicate that going all the way upwards so the first one is of course the hardest and then it gets really really easy from there on

Out so go ahead and mark out the edges of this circle going all the way around fill in all the magma blocks in the center of course and this is what your spawning platform should look like as you can see it’s just a big old circle

Of magma blocks so we’re gonna go to the center of this thing and pop out a hole directly above the lower turtle sanctuary and this thing should of course be three blocks wide and four blocks long directly lined up with all of that stuff right there we’re gonna go

Ahead and build up the same exact thing but on this layer so put three walls into either side one in the back side a solid block there you then want five walls on the back side of that a solid block there and there slabs above both

Of those and then go ahead and put yourself in a fan there and three fans on this side so go ahead and build yourself another four spawning layers upwards and another four of those little central pieces so all six of our spawning layers are now in place and as

You can see we are getting quite a few spawns on the farm it’s looking really good we’re going to go to the very top layer now and put a little bit of a roof above the central turtle area and this just needs to cover up the entirety of

The build this will prevent your zombie pigmen from jumping which could allow them to land on your turtle egg and destroy it and it will also prevent them from getting stuck here on the edges see how normally we can go up like a half block by standing on that lower wall we

Can’t do that if there’s a roof there so now we can go ahead and remove the markers for this safari chunk over here if you feel like it as you can see it’s a pretty far into this platform so just go ahead and wipe that out and now we’re

Going to finish up the trident killer so go ahead and break a hole in this wall right here and then just throw a trident in there seal the wall back up and now we need a redstone line to activate the trident killer from your afk spot and go

Ahead and place a solid block next to the left dropper there place a slab above it and then we’re going to make a glass line and this is going to go all the way across the build to the afk spot more or less so as you can see and now

Lines up with the lower marker for the afk spot you probably guessed it but we want redstone dust above each and every single one of these blocks and i’m gonna go ahead and just place a lever at the end of this as well just to test it once

It dies out place in a solid block and then another solid block and a repeater between the two of those slabs on top of both of those and that should power this dropper over here so now we can remove that lever if everything is working properly when

We unflick this lever that should turn the trident killer on and as you can see it’s killing all the zombie pigmen and now it’s time to wire this redstone line to your afk platform this is incredibly easy all you’re going to do is line yourself up above that block with the

Lever on it replace the block that you’re standing on with a redstone lamp and then put a lever on it any time that you have the redstone lamp on that means that your farm will be active and running so now we’re going to go downwards with a pillar of glass on both

Sides of this going all the way downwards until we get to this block we’re going to go ahead and keep that block there and go back up to the red zone lamp we’re going to basically make a little bit of a redstone line going all the way down so we’re going to have

To remove every other one of these glass blocks until we get to the bottom in which case you should have redstone on top of that solid block place a redstone torch right there on the side of that block and that is going to turn off your china killer turning off your farm and

As you can see the redstone lamp is off if we go ahead and stand here and flick that lever on the farm is going to turn on item collection for this build is very very simple so all we’re going to do is place in a temporary chest

Underneath the very edge of our trident killer as you can see there we’re going to place in a hopper behind that and then a rail on top of that you want the rail to be facing to the side so you may need to place another one in order to

Redirect it place a couple of blocks to either side of that rail like so and then simply place a hopper minecart on top of the rail and that will put everything into your chest it is now time to activate your gold farm so grab yourself some turtle eggs and you want

To place one turtle egg at every single one of these blocks on each platform and that should attract all of your zombie pigmen they’ll fall directly down the hole into your trident killer and that’s all there is to it so again you will need to place one of these on each layer

Being careful not to aggro the pigment as you’re going or to fall into the trident killer yourself and as you can see our gold farm is working very very well indeed so that is the entire build process of one tower for your gold farm of course when you’re afking here make

Sure that you are holding a looting three sword that way you get the best rates from your farm of course if you want to build up more towers then you just basically re-watch the tutorial from this time that is on screen you branch out 34 blocks from your afk spot

Down below and then you basically just start construction on a new tower you can build one tower and then wait like a week to add another one or you can build all four at once whatever works for you this is a very flexible little farm and this is what the finished farm should

Look like so we got four of these modules to each side of us and it is just a fantastic so you should be able to get a ton of pigment from this design you should be getting a lot of gold as well and that’s really all there is to
