Seriously how does every single one of you fall into the well the other dude is looking at you like you’re an idiot right now [Applause] What’s going on guys it’s Pat and welcome back to another minecraft video and today we’re gonna be checking out the helpful villagers mod it actually just came out two days ago guys I found it on the forums and it’s actually really cool so when you get to a village

You’re gonna notice something very strange villagers now look different you’re like all over here for some reason you guys do it so yeah they look different looking different model for the villagers and they’re smarter like a lot smarter because normally they just give you the terrible things it’s like 20

Emeralds for a wood hoe and that’s insulting they don’t do that anymore you actually can’t trade with that which is kind of surprising but honestly we don’t need the trades so these dudes right here if I right-click them they’re gonna see there’s three different things follow me

Trade in change profession I just said there’s no trades but there really isn’t you can give him stuff like I can give him armor and he has his own inventory which is kind of cool too alright so I can haven’t follow me just showing really really quick here get followed me

Around bro if you want to and probably the coolest feature of this mod is they have professions so now they actually do stuff that’s helpful and you could like to steal all their stuff after it sounds rude but it’s awesome so if I click on this right now he’s a normal villager so

You can keep them as this but there’s also lumberjack miner and farmer and right here it says builds guild hall to unlock and you probably have no idea what that means so guys we’re gonna set up the guild hall it’s really easy to do all you have to do is find a building

Like in the town that has a door and next to it put an item frame it could be on any side it could actually be under if you really wanted to you live in the guild hall I’m just letting you know is that why you’re leaving alright fine

Alright so let’s say we want to have some people chopping some wood we’re gonna put an axe in this item frame and now this building is where they’re gonna go if they need to get some stuff so what you need to do is put down a chest

For them so I’ll put this down right here and I’ll give them a wooden axe and now what I’m gonna do is talk to one of the villagers and they should go in here automatically it’s really cool the way this works alright so bro you got to get some wood

Cuz you’re being lazy and just standing here you don’t even trade anything so change profession lumberjack and you can see now he’s wearing different clothes he’s coming in here he’s going towards the chest and he grabbed the axe so what he’s gonna do is he’s actually gonna go

Out and chop wood he should do it sometimes Rai is a little bit messed up they have trouble finding things but eventually they should find some he’s really trying hard here I’m just gonna follow him where we goin bro um this way this way there’s a bunch of

Trees you could do this you’re kind of going sideways I think he’s gonna make it and if you do have problems what you can do is just you know have him follow you and then just stop there have him not follow you he’s gonna chop down all the

Trees you don’t fall in the ravine that’d be horrible man if he just fell right in there died right now he’s such a fail for the mod not for the mod but for me because I really want to show him cutting some wood you know what you’re taking way too long

Wandering around a little bit I believe in you I was going up to he’s actually chopping it that is amazing and guys he’s gonna get all this wood it’s gonna go into his inventory and when he’s full or if his axe breaks he’ll go back to the guild hall and place everything

There and since he has a wood axe it’s not gonna last that long the durability really does work so that is gonna happen a couple things you have to watch out for sometimes they fall in water and get like stuck which is bad and one cool

Feature of this mod is he actually is gonna put saplings back down so once he gets all these trees will put saplings down and the forest is still gonna be here and honestly they put down so many the forest might be even better than before so we’ll leave them here for a

While we’ll see what happens alright guys so I gave it a few minutes and now we’re back here at the guild hall and he’s putting stuff in here is it all here oh my god he got 40 oak wood he got 19 birch wood five Oaks saplings

In two bird saplings and he ran out of durability so right now he can’t really do anything so my friend have a diamond axe wow you’re like a thief you grab that instantly what if I was just putting it down for one second to grab something and you’re just closed the

Door right in my face – that is not nice at all you gotta be a lumberjack – alright you can be a lumberjack so this dude will give him a brand new axe we’ll get another one here and yeah so he’ll have an iron one doesn’t matter any kind of

Axe will work so take that and grab it and now he’s gonna go try to find some trees so it’s really cool the way this works it do you guys have to do that every time it’s not nice so we’re gonna do is set up some mining here this one I

Had a couple problems with but I’ll show you guys what I mean so I put this right here and now when I talk to a villager they should be able to choose that too so we’ll go to change profession you’re a miner now it’s got a different outfit on

And once again you want to put down a chest and what you can do is said all up in one building but I thought it was a little bit more organized for them to have like their own little area so I’ll put this down here and you need a good

Wood there bro I figured we check out the forest real quick guys and it looks like there’s some saplings all over the place like clearly he cut these down as you can see and now there’s like saplings around so everything is regrowing pretty good a really bad spot for a horse

Sorry about that horse should knock him off or something so yeah he came through here he chop these down he just put down new saplings and it looks like everything is growing nicely left a couple on the ground though it’s alright sorry I can get those myself ok so what

We need to do now is get the miner and did you fall in the well come on both of you fell in the well I got another dude chopping wood too I want to make sure plenty of people were and you both fell on the well come on that is that is

Protect the area I guess but he just did it right there and they do it all the time and I notice when they get into a cave if they have to dig across something like where they where there’s a drop-off he’ll actually make his own bridge out of cobblestone but right now

The stuff from the farm I mean he doesn’t do a lot you know there’s one right over there I don’t know what’s up with you there better be another farm around all right there’s one over there just gonna follow you around seriously seriously in the water again I

Hoe yeah yeah because of their AI they seem to walk around a bit before they actually find what they’re looking for but clearly those guys found the forest alright guys he’s making it he made it he’s doing it he’s farming Wow and one swipe you’ve got some serious host

Skills I wish I had cuz I can’t do that that was one swipe he grabbed a ball and everything is still planted wow that is impressive so if I right-click you know where you’re heading right now but a trade he’s got eat wheat he’s got 16 potatoes

And four seeds so eventually once this runs ours inventory gets full he’s gonna put it back in the guild hall and yeah guys that is pretty much how it works all these guys are gonna work very and this is a work in progress mod guys they’re adding in brand new stuff very

Soon the Creator did mention that they’re gonna be adding in a way for them to craft and some new professions too but right now working pretty good actually using your farm no other one you get to a village they don’t do anything with that it’s it’s insulting

To the farm it really is but yep now trade with you so they’re doing a great job I’m gonna check a couple of other dudes I spotted the Lumberjacks they both fell in the water I’m so sorry guys let me get you out of here alright so

What do you have anyway so in here we’ve got not too much on this dude he was buying the water for too long oh man this guy’s got so much look at that you just put down saplings while you’re in here he put one down right there as I

Tried to get him out you are crazy so the forest it is looking insane there’s saplings everywhere they took out the entire thing so the miner he should be down here somewhere let’s see where am i right now okay so if you get down here how are you doing and why are you

Standing there alright so he’s got 25 : 21 iron he actually lost half the durability out his pickaxe hey guys it’s probably best to have like a bunch of miners a bunch of Lumberjacks that way you’re gonna get the most stuff because just one dude he might fall in the water

And you might have to get him out of there but as you can tell you get tons of awesome stuff all you have to do is visit the guild hall it’s all gonna be in there for you and guys there is one other thing you can do

So this villager right here I believe you need armor so we’ll trade I’ll just give it to him just put it in here and they can’t store stuff for you if you really want them to like just like I don’t have any room you’re like a moving

Chest just don’t die I can give him this stuff in right now he’s got really high defence and they do have regeneration on like over time to regenerate held pretty quickly so they can survive like you know a zombie attack you serious come on I don’t know what’s up with this I

Should don’t you know you should do guys is guard the well put blocks all around it so they can’t fall into it cuz they’re walking all over the place and bad things happen on they can’t fight at the moment but they do have high defence and regeneration which should save them

I imagine in the next update they’re probably gonna make it so they can fight and you can give them a sword cuz right now what happens let me show you guys real quick if I give him a sword he’s actually not gonna take it into his hand

If I put it in his hand it just goes right into his inventory he kind of just stores it for you but at the moment really cool some epic stuff they could do for you and villagers are much more helpful than ever hope you guys enjoyed
