Hi youtubers! This is Streamer! Welcome to the Minecraft School! Today we’ll analize a Mod in detail but, before that, we’ll learn some facts about the Minecraft’s geography. First of all… Do you know how wide a Minecraft world can be? Well! There are 60.000.000 blocks from end to end! If each block is a metre wide… we’re talking about 60.000 kilometres! This means that a Minecraft map is way bigger than Neptune’s diameter. and it measures 49.100 kilometres! Our tiny Earth is not an issue here, since it is only 12.700 kilometres wide. Comparisons are odious (are so they say)! If you want to walk from an end to the other of a Minecraft map get ready to walk non stop for 1.640 hours. or 68 days, as you prefer to count it. After such amazing figures it’s time to start talking of the Mod that we’re going to analize today. So here goes the second question. How may biomes does Minecraft have? Grosso modo there are only 10. the wood, the desert, the prairie, the marsh, the jungle, the tundra, the taiga, the mountain, the mushrooms’ island and the ocean. Isn’t it weird? Such a huge map and so very few biomes? As I understand it, this is a Minecraft’s problem. So many kilometres without variety. In this situation, landscapes become repetitive, which means that exploring them might have no sense at all. Fortunately Mods can help us to solve this matter. Today we’re going to analize the Biomes O’plenty Mod! Or, as we’d say in Spanish “Biomas a tutiplén”. And there’s no better way to say it, since this Mod adds 60 new biomes! And each of them is different from the others. I assure you, it is worth to have a look at them! When I saw this Mod for the first time I thought… Wow! I’ve got to show it! So, let’s quit the lesson and have a look at this wonderful collection of biomes. Welcome outdoors!! Today we’ll have a tourist tour around the Biomes O’plenty Mod. Let’s start with the garden biome. Hope you like my new bee skin. I thought it was the right outfit since I am completely surrounded by huge and enormous flowers! In this biome you shall find coloured hens that will provide you with eggs, meta and red colouring. And also, this little white flowers. You can keep them and replant them later or use them to obtain light grey colouring. I love this biome. I love to look at the sunset from my floral jacuzzi. OMG!! This is life!! Let’s move to a completely different biome! It feels like being in Mars And it is due to the orange ground and sky. As you can see, this biome has big mountains made of reddish stone. You can work with this stone as you would with the normal grey one that you already know. It presents different conditions. If you work it you’ll get cobble stone. If you put it in the oven you’ll get a refined version. And if you put four of them together you’ll get Red Rock bricks. And, as you would do with normal stone, you can create slabs and stairs. And this is the mangrove biome. Basically, it is an aquatic wood. The main novelty of this biome are the mangroves, a new kind of trees. If you cut them you can use its whithish wood to create planks, stairs and slabs. As you would do with regular wood. I do like this decorative block. In my opinión, a house built with them must be pretty stylish. It is a masterstroke! What you see in my hand is a mangrove sapling. You have to plant it on sand or it won’t grow at all. Those trees have pretty deep roots, They can take up six blocks!! This is the meadow biome! As you can see, it looks mountainous and wooded with its bushes, fir trees and blue hydrangeas. from which you can get light blue colouring. We won’t have to go caves and caverns looking for lapis lazuli any more. I do like this wetland biome. It is defined by its huge swamps with plenty of mud. As you can see, this is real mud, not a mere texture. Therefore, it feels like mud. If I get into it I go down and my movements get really clumsy. This new material has many utilities. You can work with it as you would with clay. So, hit the block and you’ll get mud balls. You can craft a mud block with four mud balls. If you cook a ball you can give it a brick shape. And with four bricks you can craft a whole mud brick block. And there’s more! With this balls you can craft a whole new armour, any kind of tool, and even a sword! However, as you may know, it can only be used a few times. Nevertheless, I do believe that this will be the “hoygan’s” (see video description) beloved material. Willows are also an important feature of this biome. You can refine its greenish wood in the crafting table and also use it to Create slabs and stairs. These little blue flowers are a special feature of this biome as well. You can get cyan colouring with them. Let’s talk about bulrushes. With nine of these you shall get a wool block. You can also find in this biome, although not only here, toadstools. In case of emergency, you can smash them and eat them, if you don’t mind feeling a bit dizzy. They don’t look very tasty, to be sincere. And this is not the only swampy biome over here. And here you can check it. The main difference between this biome and the last one are the numerous dead trees that you shall find in the water. Let’s move to another biome and, of course, let’s meet a new landscape! As I said before, biomes in this Mod are pretty varied! This one’s most special feature are these huge stone structures. As you can see, they can be sky-high and they are surrounded by very deep waters. Others features are its many waterfalls and the greenish sky. If you like strong emotions, try jumping from up here. Good luck! Ups! I’m afraid I’ll decline such an idea. Welcome to the Heathlands! A very flat landscape, with many bushes, weeds and wild flowers. You can use these flowers (as you could use the other ones) to get magenta colouring. Let’s move to the Bamboo Forest Biome! Awesome, right? As you can see, here you’ll find pretty high bamboo trees and bushes and ferns on the ground. Actually, bamboo can be used only for decorative purposes. However, In future updates we might be able to work with it in the crafting table in order to obtain bamboo blocks from the stalks of this beautiful trees. As a curiosity you have to know that if you want to tear down these trees you can cut them by its basis. Therefore, there’s no need to install the treecapitator Wow! Thanks to this Mod even The Alps can be found in Minecraft!! This is it! Amazing snow-covered mountain chains, They are, as you can see, sky high and the trees on top of them pierce the clouds. Mountain climbers will fell at home over here! And these are the Deadlands!! There’s no life in here. This biome has three main features: the dark sky the ash covered ground de ceniza and the deep holes. There’s a lot of them. Be careful! Obviously, Creepers love this place. I’m sure you’ll find plenty of them strolling around here. Mmm… Maybe these holes are their masterpiece. ah! if you pick some ashes you can obtain grey colouring from it. or even a whole ash block. Yuck! This is disgusting! As I said before, this Mod has a great variety of biomes, and The Deadlands are not the only dark and cheerless ones. There are many of them like, for instance, the Ominous Woods biome. Here the grass is dark and there’s plenty of bats and mushrooms. As special features, let’s mention these little blue flowers, merely decoratives, and these trees. You can use its dark wood to create slabs, stairs and even refined wood blocks. Let’s move to another dismal biome. There’s no place for little flowers and idyllic landscapes around here! Welcome to the Mod’s darkest side. You’re looking at the death forest and the dry lands biomes. On the same tone, let’s visit the Quagmire biome, which has, as you may have noticed, the name of a famous TV show character. mmm… a walk around here must be great for your skin! Wow! A sample of how powerful Minecraft’s nature can be! A volcano eruption! We all had been expecting such a thing for a long time and, thanks to this Mod, we finally have it! As you can observe, volcanos are made of a new kind of block: the ash stone. which looks way darker than the regular Minecraft stone. And this is the wasteland. If you know Fallout game series you’ll recognize such a landscape, which is basically composed of a large of dried dirt. If you want to obtain a dry soil block, just put in the oven a regular soil one. It’s not pretty but it is really interesting to have so many different kinds of blocks. And maybe it can be used to build a nice path or a wall in the countryside. Another barren biome, a sandy one, where there’s plenty of sandstone and where you can find dried dirt blocks as well as great deposits of clay. And this biome looks like the last one but in fact it is pretty different. We are talking about Dunes here. This biome has two main features: these amazing sand structures and the abundant desert grass. Now let’s visit the Icy Hills biome. It’s a frozen wood, with snow-covered grounds, ice trees and a total white sky. se trata de un bosque maduro A wonderful scenario to organize a great snow fight, don’t you think? Another really cold biome, like the one before, is the Glacier one. The weird shape of these snowed structures has really attracted my attention. This biome is basically composed of stone, snow and a new type of ice block. Don’t know about you but I’m really looking forward to building my igloo over here. And, of course, there also Oasis in this Mod, with its lakes and palm trees surrounded by sand. As I said at the beginning, when you install this Mod you’ll start to realize how unexplored the biomes’ world was in Minecraft. In the Oasis we shall find some new items, such as These beatiful cactus, the desert grass, and a new tree trunk: the palm tree one, from which you can obtain wood to create slabs and stairs as the ones that you can see here. Another biome in which you will find many more palm trees is the Tropics one. It’s a tropical paradise where you can find, together with the aforementioned palm trees, these orange daisies from which you can obtain orange colouring. Another tropical biome is the Rainforest one. Here, under a yellowish sky, there’s plenty of jungle trees, orange daises and a few watermelons. It’s so hot here that you will surely enjoy having a nice piece of watermelon. With this biome I feel like if I were in The Paradise. The first striking fact here is this amazing blue sky. And the second are its numerous hills covered with bushes. In this region you will find many natural springs. As you can see, this extremely beautiful landscape is a pleasure for our eyes. I hope you will excuse this so much cheesy moment, I just couldn’t help it! I do love this place! Obviously, we can also find some little flowers in this biome. Specifically these little violet ones, from which you’ll be able to obtain violet colouring. Let’s add a new ingredient to this biomes’ salad: The Savanna Biome! Unfortunately, here you won’t neither lions nor giraffes. Not even elephants! I’m sorry to disapoint you, but this is a pigs’ Savanna. As you can see, since they have no predator to be afraid of, pigs walk freely around. Such a thing could only happen in Minecraft! The most useful item here are these wild flowers from which you can obtain magenta colouring. As well as this new kind of tree: the acacias, from which you can obtain wood, slabs and stairs that you can see right here. That was not the only biome in which you’ll find acacias. There’s plenty of them in the Lush Desert, where you can also find this reddish stone. Mmm… I do like how these two colours combine together, don’t you? Now let me introduce you to the Mystic Grove, a fantasy biome. Here the sky looks rosy, as you can see, and magical trees grow on the ground. Those trees are very high and their wood is their main feature, since it is dark with golden spots. You can craft its trunks in order to obtain refined wood as well as slabs and stairs. They all will look like this, a green and gold cocktail that will give a unique flair to your house! Here you can also find many tulips, from which you’ll be able to obtain pink colouring. Would it be a real Mystic Grove if it lacked illuminated flowers? Of course it wouldn’t! So, here they are! Wow, they provide light by themselves as if they were a glowstone block! If you need some darkness, just uproot the flower! Couldn’t be more easy, don’t you think? Another fantasy like biome is the Fungi Forest one. This is the Mooshrooms’ beloved biome, since they feel like at home over here. It’s an overgrown forest, in which we can find these trees together with the numerous bindweeds that hang from them. Moreover, here we can obviously find these enormous mushrooms as well. It’s a pretty odd landscape, as you see… Actually I do believe that these huge mushrooms should play a more important role in the original game. Since they look great in a wooded biome. Also, in this biome you’ll find mycelium blocks, the typical weed block in a mushrooms’ island biome. As a curiosity, you should know that mushrooms breed faster on mycelium than on normal grass. I also like the fact that there are plenty of bindweeds in the underground caves. It’s a totally unexpected detail, and I have to say that it is great. the Minecraft caves really needed a touch like this, don’t’ you think? Let’s move to another wood now! Welcome to the Coniferous Forest biome! The main feature here is the extreme verticality. I dare say that here you may find the tallest Minecraft trees!! Those fir trees can be 150 blocks high!! Not kidding!! Look at the clouds and how the trees surpass them! I’ts going to start raining trunks if you use the treecapitator over here!! Obviously these trees have their own wood, which is different from the one that you can find in the original game. As you know, you can use it to obtain refined wood, flagstones and stairs. Now, let’s move to one of my favourites: the Promised Land Biome. A wonderful name for another wooded biome. This forest, in which you’ll find many different trees and flowers is under a spell. There is, or so they say, a enchantment that protects it from hostile mobs, that cannot spawn over here due to it. And now a Redwood Forest Biome. These trees are the sequoias. They have a thick trunk, can be pretty high, their wood can be used for different purposes and they grew in places where the ground is covered by weeds and ferns. And this, as you might have guessed is a Cherry Blossom Grove Biome. In this biome the leaves are pink and white. Unfortunately, you won’t find any cherry here. But, at least, you can obtain some wood from its trunks: a mahogany wood that I’m sure you’ll like. In the ground you will also find tulips and white flowers, remember that you can get some colouring from them. That was not the only biome where the leaves are not green!! As I said before, this Mod includes a great variety of biomes. And this is the Maple Woods biome! Where you’ll find these trees and their striking maroon leaves. Welcome to the Seasonal Forest Biome! It’s very recognizable since it has these wonderful autumnal colours. I’m utterly impressed by the great variety of trees that are comprised in this Mod. I quit counting a long time ago. Let me introduce you to your salvation! No more alimentary problems! This is the Orchard biome, were you’ll find many apple trees! Its main feature, and what makes them special, is the fact that they are loaded with apples. And you may get some of their mouth-watering fruits if you hit them. So, if you find this biome… Congratulations! Hope you have a good harvest! Hit the leaves and you may get not only apples. You may get some apple tree seeds!! This is great, since apple trees are very productive and their seed will grow wherever you want. But that was not the only biome in which you can get some food! Welcome to the Pasture biome! A totally different landscape! A novelty in Minecraft! Awesome, don’t you think? A huge area with plenty of barley on it, ready to harvest. And, as you can see, many sheeps are having a great time over here. They are pretty smart, aren’t they? However, as it wouldn’t be right to have so much food for free from the beginning, you will have to hit the barley a lot of times in order to get the item. As you all know, you can use barley as an alternative to wheat and can bake bread, cookies and cakes with it. Ok, after all this information, it’s time to recap. Do you know how many biomes have you seen until now? Wow! You may now relieve it but until this point I have shown you 37 biomes! You cannot complain, can you? And there are 23 more, but I won’t explain them all here and now. I do relieve that, with what you have just seen, you can get to understand how amazing this Mod is. And you can discover the other biomes by yourselves! This Mod includes way more things than just a few biomes, such as, for instante, new blocks, ítems and other Mobs. So, if you agree, and as a conclusion, I’m going to explain a few curiosities. In this Mod you’ll find not only the coloured hens that we have seen at the beginning of this video, but also these strange animals. These are Jungle Spiders, and they live in the jungle and tropical biomes.. Be extremely careful with them. If they bite you, you’ll become blind. This is very odd, to be true. Besides, to give a wider sense and utility to the “The End” dimension, This Mod adds two new and curious ítems: The Magic Mirror, that you can craft with a Nether Star and some “The End” Stone. This wonderful item will teletransport you directly to the Spawn Point. But beware! You can use it only ten times. After them it will become useless. And the second item is the Enderporter. You can craft it, as you can see, with four Ender eyes and a dragon egg in the middle. This item will give you the Enderman Powers, since it will teletransport you across 5.000 blocks in whichever direction you point to. However, you can use it only 15 times. After them, it will become inusable. As you might have guessed, with these two ítems we can travel faster around Minecraft! Finally, to end up, let me explain you this Mod’s installation process. First of all, let’s visit the Biomes O Plenty oficial website in order to download it. You’ll find the link to do it in the video description. Once in the aforesaid website, look for the download link. Click on it. Now you’ll have to look at the ads for five seconds, after which you’ll be able to click on the “Skip Ads” button. Click on download and save it in whichever folder you like. Secondly, let’s download our beloved friendo: the forge. To do it, let’s go to the Installation Instrucions’ section. Open the spoiler by clicking on the Show button. Once here, click on “download the recommended version of Forge”. When you get to the Minecraftforge Downloads website, download the recommended version. Do not forget to choose the universal mode. As before, look at the ads for five seconds, after which you’ll be able to click on the “Skip Ads” button. Click on download and save it in whichever folder you like. Now that we have download these two files, unzip the minecraft forge. To do it, you can use the decompressing program that you are more used to. Do not unzip the Biomes O Plenty Mod. Unzip only the Minecraftforge. By doing this, you’ll get this folder, in which you’ll find all the Minecratforge files. Now it’s time to open a new Windows in your Windows Explorer in order to have acces to the Minecraft’s Installation Folder. To do it, write down the following address: %appdata%/.minecraft Here, let’s go to the bin folder. Open, with your favourite decompressing program, the minecraft.jar file. So, right click on it, select “Open with” and choose a decompressing program. I like to use the WinRar, as you can see. Now, a new Window shall appear, In which you’ll be able to see all the Minecraft’s files and folders. First of all, delete the META-INF folder, since the Minecraftforge has its own META-INF folder. After that, we’ll have to drag to this window the Minecraftforge files that we have unzipped before. So, let’s go to the Windows in which we have unzipped the forge before. Select all the files and drag them into the Minecraft.jar window. Great! Now it’s time to close the Minecraft.jar window. After that, we shall run Minecraft in order to create the Mods folder in its Installation Folder. So, Let’s execute it. You only have to go in and get out, there’s no need to start a new game. As you can see, alter this process a new folder has appeared in the Minecraft’s Installation Folder: the mods folder. In this new folder is where we have to place the Biomes O Plenty, the file that we downloaded before. So, just copy this file, and paste it in this folder. And that’s all! You’ve done it! You have installed the Biomes O Plenty in your Minecraft! Now, run your Minecraft, start a new world and, if you have followed my instructions correctly, you shall be able to see the biomes that this Mod includes. Hope you enjoy its wonderful landscapes. Now it’s time to say goobye, my dear youtubers. I have a long way ahead, since I want to visit all the other biomes that this Mod includes. So, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to leave. I hope that you have enjoyed this video and I hope to see you soon again! That’s all Folks! Video Information

“HOYGAN” or “HOIGAN” is an internet created neologism. In Spanish, it refers to those internet users who write on the net in a wrong way, with mistakes and misspellings, either because they don’t know how to do it right, or they just don’t care. Furthermore, they usually request impossible things, ask for presents that nobody has offered or demand some help.
Such a neologism comes from the Spanish word “oigan” wich means “listen” and it is a clear reference to the fact that they misspell even the most easy words.
