Why the engram I just need a sample of your blood to put into the blood altar so are you oh wait though I see a problem here yep there’s definitely a big problem hate everyone down here from the Diamond minecart and welcome to another minecraft and mod review where today me

And Grimm here have come across this which is the blood temple where we are going to be going through the blood magic mod that allows you to use the blood of either yourself or others to perform magic right within your game so it sounds creepy but it definitely is so um yeah we’re

Going to go through it today so the first type you’re going to need is this which is called a blood ultra and this is it placed in the world but to craft it you are going to need this recipe here which is just for smooth stone one

Furnace in the middle two gold and one diamond so it’s fairly it’s fairly well priced you do need a diamond for it but it’s fairly well priced for what it’s going to be able to achieve and to go if that you are going to need this which is

A sacrificial knife now this will cost five glass one gold and one iron ingot and you are going to need this to start off your little bit of a sacrificing method so what you need to do is put down your blood altar anywhere in the world we’ve just chosen it in the blood

Temple because it seems them you know seems fitting so we’re going to place it here and you actually need to sacrifice your own hearts take away your own hearts to gather stuff called life points or LP which I might refer it to later in this video so if I just go into

Game-mode 0 for a second and show you how this works if I right click with the sacrificial knife I will actually take away a heart of my own health and store life points but because I don’t have life points or somewhere to store those life points I won’t actually be doing

Anything apart and take my own life so what I need to do is stand right near the altar and start storing my blood or life points inside to this altar so if I right-click and take away about 10 hearts or about 9 just before I die I

Will stop and then um just quickly switch over into game-mode 0 that should actually store some of my life points inside this altar so now with those life points all you need to do is take a diamond and will be able to convert our first set of life points into our first

Appropriate items if I right click with this um diamond and put it into here you will see these red particles come across which means your life points are stored and working on this diamond transforming it into a brand new item which we’ll see in a second now if you don’t have enough

Five point in here you actually need 2,000 in total with a single diamond to get this first item but if you don’t have enough this altar will tell you by having small grey particles come here so if there is small grey particles you just need to stand next to the altar and

Right click with your sacrificial knife to take away some of your hearts and transfer those lp into your blood oldest we’ll just wait for this and when the particles do go out that means that it’s complete but again if you do see light grey particles you need to carry on and

Give it some more life points to fuel your blood infused magic so we’re going to get this first item which is going to be really exciting and it’s going to be a way to store your life points on the go rather than having to have an altar

With you all the time and it’s also a way to track your life points because you can’t track them with this basic altar so if I right click now that the particles are disappeared we get this which is a weak blood orbán now if we go

Outside and just hover over it it says that it stores life essence or raw life essence but now if I right click it will bind it to me so I don’t know if you heard that sound and saw that particle effect but now if you hover over it it

Will say the current owner which is myself dantdm and LP so currently I have 5000 because I have been messing around with this before and that just so happens to be what we need for the next item but before that you’re going to need to use this weak blood orb to craft

Something else which is called a blood rune to upgrade your magic also otherwise you aren’t going to be able to create the next orbit we need so you’re going to need eight smooth stone aren’t you Graham it’s not really involved in this one he doesn’t even have blood but

It’s just here for moral support because we did we were adventuring and came across this so it’s pretty scary but I’m glad he’s here so again what you need to create this blood rune is eight smooth stone and this single weak blood orbit you created and you’re actually going to

Need eight of these and you place them around your altar like this just need one two three four because there’s one already here five six seven eight place them like this and now you won’t see any physical change apart from the blocks that you place down but your altar will be now be

Upgraded so now that we’ve got 500 life points you can actually take these I forgot to mention if you right-click you can actually take life points but because the weak blood orb is weak you can only store a maximum of 5,000 so before when you start with 200 life

Points from when you um started to sacrifice yourself you will see the number go up when you right-click with the blood Albin you don’t need to sacrifice yourself with the knife anymore so it’s turning today a little bit less scary but now we’ve got to create our next

Item which is called the apprentice orb nuts like an upgraded version of the weak blood orb and what you’re gonna need to do is take one emerald and have five thousand life points stored up which just so happens to be the weak blood orbs capacity so if I right click

And place this in here remember you have to have the blood runes round it otherwise this won’t work right click and it will start to work its magic so again the same system applies you’ve got enough Life Points it will start to emit these red particles if not it will start

To emit light grey particles and you’ll need to sacrifice some more LP but it looks like we’ve got enough from what the weak blood orb is telling you so while this is cooking the apprentice orb is kind of like an upgrade and is used in more recipes when we get to the next

Ones later on over here but it has a maximum hold value of twenty five thousand Life Points so actually increase your capacity for twenty thousand which is pretty damn impressive so while we wait for this to cook let’s go over some extra things so you can actually upgrade your altar here so

You’ve got eight spaces around here you can actually upgrade these with more runes but I think I’m going to need this which is in here so you need to speed up and cook apprentice orb how come for you is stopped exactly the same times if we right-click we will now get this which

Is the apprentice blood orb and now we need to actually bind this to ourselves again so if you right-click it will bind to us now we’re current on a dantdm and we actually have 5200 life points so if you keep the weak blood orbit we’re actually tell you you’re actually got

Over its maximum so if you keep right-clicking you will see it actually goes over its maximum but you can now hold 25 thousand life points and we’re going to need this for the next steps of the process so what I was talking about earlier were special runes now these

Runes are made with different things so the first one you can make is the speed rune and you are going to need for smooth stone for sugar and one blood rune to create it now if you take these different ones and place them below or around your altar they will actually

Have different effects on the process so this speed rune for example will have a increased speed effect by 20% and you can only place four of these down at a time so say you have four speed runes your speed of stuff being created in the blood Auto will increase by a total of

80% which is awesome so you just put them down like here replace the blood wounds that you had down here before and replacement of the runes you like so let’s go through a couple what you can have the one on the right here is an efficiency rune and this will

Increase or lower the lost progress when you’ve got the gray particle so say you run out of Life Points just before your appropriate orb is being created you start to lose progress so you’ll need even more Life Points the longer you leave it but if you use the efficiency

Rune you won’t have to do that that much so what you’re going to need to do is the same recipe as before but replace the sugar with this beautiful red stone and we’ll be able to place those in the side of this and you can only use the

Corners I believe it’s either the corners or the left and right and you can use those so currently we have 40% increase in efficiency and 20% in speed and if I place another speed one here without 40% speed which is really cool and it’s a really cool feature as well

How it detects that now these extra ones here are pretty awesome and these are going to need the apprentice blood orbs so you’re going to need one apprentice blood orb and for gold ingots as well as for smooth stones create the rune of sacrifice and the same as this recipe

But replace the gold with glowstone dust and you’ll get the rune of self-sacrifice now the rune of sacrifice will increase your sacrifices made from other people which we’ll get to in a second by 10% which is pretty awesome when placed around your blood altar and the self

Sacrifice will do the same but when you’re sacrificing yourself it will increase by 10% so this will increase 10% of others and this will increase 10% of yourself so I have just mentioned that you can actually sacrifice others and this is where you get to the dagger

Of sacrifice which looks like this and you’re going to need to create it by putting an iron sword in your blood altar along with 3,000 life points so when you’ve collected three thousand life points like myself you’ll just place this inside your altar like we were doing earlier and you will get this

In return but to save time I’m just going to have this so the dagger have sacrificed caution may cause a bad day so yeah it might do sacrificing people is pretty dark and it only gives one attack damage and that’s because you’re going to be sacrificing people with this

Thing so we’ve got different kind of life point values anything for like nice mobs like pigs cows and stuff like that you get 250 life points you do have to slay these when they are near the Blood altar of I do and work just as a quick

Note so you’ll get 250 life points for that if you slay a hostile mob like a spider a skeleton or a creeper you will get 500 life points and then you can actually go one step further and kill a villager next to your blood altar and you’ll get 2,000 lie

Points are definitely worth it but apparently there are severe consequences so I’m not going to do this just yet but I will do it near the end so we’re going to sacrifice a villager right at the end which is pretty grim you agree grim yeah

I think so and we’re going to try that later on so the whole point of doing all this sacrificing and collecting your own blood and life points is to create these which are schedules now these signals or signals are not sure to pronounce it will give you the magical powers you

Need now to start off you’re actually going to have to craft a blank slate or a reinforced slate to put your sigils on so what you can need our four smooth stone for golden nuggets and an iron ingot to create a blank slate which are needed for most of the runes but the

Better runes are going to need a reinforced slate which cost for iron this is meant to be a normal slate so just imagine the recipe like this you need two redstone four iron one blank slate and two glowstone to create this so those are the two base recipes you

Need to create those and now we go into the actual sigil so there are five different signals I believe I think there’s five anyway yeah that’s five right the first four are kind of elemental so we’ve got the water sigil lava sigil void sigil and air sigil so

The first one the water one you will need one weak blood orb which we showed you how to get earlier one blank slate which you just show the recipe for and the rest in water buckets to create the water sigil now when you’ve got these in your inventory if you right-click with

The water sigil it will actually take away 100 LP or life points to place your water down so it kind of works on a point system so as you can see we have 6200 right now we right-click to place water it will go down to 6100 but

Because we are in creative mode it won’t take it away but you can see how the point system kind of works so the more Life Points you collect from either yourself or others the more water you can work put down so this actually works a lot better than a bucket of water as

You can summon water whenever you like so the next one it’s actually the larva sigil and does exactly the same thing but the opposite of water obviously it is fire and you are going to need six lava buckets one magma cream one blank slate and this which is a lava crystal

Now this actually has a special ability as well and its own recipe what you’re going to need is one diamond two obsidian two glass and the rest in lava buckets as well as a weak blood orb in the center and that will give you this lava crystal now the live crystal as I

Said just now will have its own kind of ability and it actually gives you on limited kind of smelting ability so I’ll cost you 25 life points per smelt so shop this in a furnace and you’ll get unlimited cooking powers as long as you have some life points in your kind of

Storage so it’s quite a good deal 25 life points for one full smelt so yeah definitely keep that in mind but you can also use it towards this recipe which will allow you to sum and lava however instead of a hundred LP this one costs a thousand because if you are playing on

Survival multiplayer or something you will be able to grief people with this so I’m just going to put it just about here so I don’t cause too much trouble it’s still mic so this will normally cost about a thousand life points and here we go things are going to get messy

So we should probably leave right now so on to the next sigil or sigil I really don’t know how to pronounce it and it is the void sigil and this will require six empty buckets one of the reinforced slates which you looked at earlier so these are getting to the more powerful

Ones one string and one apprentice blood orbs so you can need even more powerful herbs for this as well as even more powerful slates now if a right-click happens on this you will actually dry up all fluid within um kind of like I think it’s 50 blocks I’m not too sure though

But it will cost 50 Life Points for this and let’s see how this works I haven’t actually tried this one out yet so let’s try this one right click and yes it will actually dry up where you’re pointing so it’s not a 50-buck radius I’m getting confused with the live point so if

You’ve got this here you want to get rid of the source quickly you right-click pay 50 Life Points and it will slowly disappear so that is really cool and can work out really nice in accidental lava situations and situations where you just want to dry up a lot of water so the

Next signal is actually an air sigil and it will require six feathers one gas Tier one reinforced slate and an apprentice blood orb and this one will actually give you a boost of about a thousand blocks for 50 LP so I’m going to actually fire this in the air so I

Don’t lose my space so that’s right click and there we go we will boost in the air and it can actually keep on going so the more life points you pay the more of a boost you get so that is pretty cool and it can just boost you

Forward and instead of flying of course you’re going to be in survival mode it can actually get you quite away and allow you to fly I’m nicely pressing anything apart from right-click now so if I fire it in the air you can actually get some really cool flying going on but

Just remember that every click will cost you 50 life points so that is pretty cool yeah that is actually a really unique item so the last one is in this chest here which is the sigil of the far two minor and it requires four smooth stone one of each iron shovel iron

Pickaxe and iron axe and these do need to be iron weapons one reinforced slate and an apprentice blood oven this will give you CEO of the fast miner and on a right-click this will cost one hundred Life Points every ten seconds but it will actually increase your mining speed

So every ten seconds you get haste and every time it’s refreshed you will need to pay 100 Life Points to do be wary of that but I will get haste which is really awesome so that is a way to get your mining up a lot better and that is

Pretty much what this mod has to offer it’s a really unique mod in the way that you start up by sacrificing yourself and upgrading your blood altar and stuff like that but in the end you get some really cool tools and in the future this will be updated to have even more of

Them and even more magical power so how did you enjoy that Grimm I bet you did enjoy that a lot because I was anyone that had to cut myself you actually had to you don’t have blood so you’re pretty self though actually we do have one more

Thing to do we have to sacrifice this villager so we need to put the villager in here I’m not sure what’s going to happen but here we go oh god oh god I hope I hope nothing happens so what happened there was when you actually kill something right near a blood altar

It will instantly kill it which is pretty awesome so I’m not sure what is going to happen apparently there’s really bad consequences so what I can say is go ahead and try it and see what happens so you will get a one-hit kill with the diagraph sacrifice when you’re

Near a blood altar but anywhere else it will only do +1 damage so not worth it so go ahead and do that that did actually get me 2000 Life Points that’s all I can suggest is give it a go and risk the consequences so yeah that is
