Yo guys my name is Joe Craft and today I have another bill tips and tricks video today I’m gonna be showing you guys how to light up your towns and cities using various different techniques with fire and various different blocks to make for some interesting designs so without Further ado let’s begin today’s video and do not forget to smash that like button now these first two designs I’m not going to get into because I’m sure you guys already know about them but I have used various different techniques from my last video to create these Interesting kind of fire pots and lamps using armored stands and pistons to put them together but don’t worry I am gonna show you guys how to build each and every single one of these just bear in mind that some of these designs require you to use the game rule do fire tic Force in order for them to work but the idea of this video is to give you guys a template to work on kind of elaborate on giving you some build tips and ideas you don’t always have to replicate these designs exactly as they appear in the video I’ve also built a modern-style fireplace for those modern style builders because well why not right guys so let’s get down to building each and every one of these designs some more complicated than others but hey this one’s relatively easy we’re going to start off with some cobblestone stares placing them right Around in this formation get some netherrack place it in there and light it up right so now we’re going to grab some trapdoors and again place them right on top of the cobblestone stairs and if you grab some armorstands you need to hold down the shift button Though you can’t just place it like this because it won’t work you’ll just track trigger the trapdoor so just hold down the shift button continue placing the armorstands in this formation now the next step is slightly more tricky you’re going to need some Pistons so let’s grab Some redstone and some Pistons and some stir blocks right so you have to place the stir blocks on top of the armorstands just like that right around once again and then once you have this done we can place the pistons and redstone it’s relatively simple all you Have to do is place the pistons facing downwards and then trigger the piston using the redstone and as you can see it pushes the cobblestone stair block right on top of the armorstand and you’re going to repeat the process on each side now here’s one design you might find in A medieval fantasy style city so we need to start by placing the armor stand then using some pistons and some redstone we’re going to push a cobblestone block right through the armor stand so then you have to repeat the process but this time using some cobblestone wall and Again you’re going to push the cobblestone wall into the armor stand and you get a nice bit of extra detail and it’s all about these minor details that make something look so much better place a cobblestone block right on top of the cobblestone wall then make your way right around using some stone Buttons then the rest of the lamp is you know relatively easy to build again full block we got some stone buttons right around and then all you have to do is as we did before it’s the exact same thing but you have to place it on top of this block Right guys not much explaining to do with this particular design you can easily replicate this just by looking at it just bear in mind that you do have to use the game rule do fire tic faults in order for it to work so next up we have Two more fire pot designs that you could use for medieval castle jungle temple whatever the case they’re relatively easy to build using some cobblestone stairs netherrack and then using some more cobble stone stairs placing them in this formation makes a nice kind of fire pot now you can elaborate on this design Make it even bigger all you have to do is place the full block of stone brick some cobblestone wall another full block of cobblestone then we have some stone brick slab right across the top edge just like that and then it’s the exact same thing using some cobble stone Stairs placing them upside down whoops there we go right around fill it up with a block of netherrack right here in the center light it up and then place some more cobblestone stairs to finish it off and it makes a nice sort of fantasy style lamp slightly bigger than the Original fire pot design now even though this is the smallest creation of the lot I’m so happy with this because it’s simple its small it doesn’t take up too much space and you can easily light up a small village using this concept now I’m sure there’s no need for me to show you Guys how to build these seeing as you can easily replicate them just by looking at them this next design looks a bit more complicated but it really isn’t and I’m absolutely in love with this design now I do plan on doing a transformation video on my kingdoms of Greymane world so guys definitely Subscribe and stay tuned for that you don’t want to miss it it’s going to be insane apart from that let’s build this sort of lamp we have here some cobblestone wall drop an armor stand into that and again using the same concept as before we do need to use some Pistons to drop another cobblestone wall block into the armor stand so again using some redstone we’re gonna place a block right there make sure the cobblestone wall drops down place another block of cobblestone wall then a full block and go right around this cobblestone block using some wood and buttons almost done Here guys going back to some cobblestone wall place another full block cobblestone wall and then a full block again now as you can see I’ve decorated this slightly using some signs but again guys as I said before at the beginning of this video you can always elaborate On these designs I’m just giving you guys a sort of template to work with it’s always good to see you guys kind of you know use this as a guideline as opposed to copying it block by block so then we have the cobblestone wall again And we have an iron bar right there now this is going to be slightly tricky here we’re going to have to grab some cobblestone slab I think it’s going to be one two and three break off this block then using some trapdoors we’re going to place them in this formation Then once you have that done all you have to do is light this up using a flint and steel also notice I did use some carpet right across the top of this lamp just to give it an extra bit of edge and detail so this next creation is Something that you can hang down from the ceiling I actually have a similar design featured in my kingdoms of Greymane worlds so here’s an idea for those of you looking for something big so once again we are going to be using some armor stands and a few Pistons to put this one together but nevertheless it is relatively easy and should not be too daunting so let’s see let’s light this up with a flint and steel we’re also going to add in some buttons various different buttons this time wood and stone we’re going to go Back to some cobblestone we’ll place them on top of the upside down stair blocks and once again we’re gonna drop in some armor stands just like this once you have this done we’re going to go back to some stone brick stairs and we need to place them right on top of the Cobblestone walls so we are going to be using some Pistons once again to put this together so once you have this all set up just place a redstone block right there make the Pistons drop down and therefore you have some stone brick stairs right inside the armor stand to Finish this off let’s grab a full block of cobblestone again we’re going to make our way right around the block placing various different turns wood and stone then you have another block of cobblestone wall drop another armored stand and using the same technique as we always do this time Using some oak wood fence we’re gonna drop the oak wood fence right into the armored stand so there we go guys it’s set up just place the redstone block that will drop the fence into the armored stand and then finish off with another block of cobblestone wall So finally we have the modern fireplace this was actually an idea I got from Google Images transferring it into Minecraft and trying to replicate it as best as I could right guys now to build this fireplace we’re gonna start with some black clay even though it looks Kind of Brown nevertheless this would go right up to the ceiling of your house once you have that done grab some block of quartz place three then three again one two three and join this up to the wall place some netherrack right in the corner one and two Might as well light this up and we’re also going to place some quartz slab to fill this in then go back to some black clay one two three and four join this up to the wall and as you can see I’ve used some signs to give that wooden edge just Like the one in Google Images and to finish off this fireplace you’re going to use some gray stained glass pane or of course any kind of colored glass you prefer but guys that is about it right guys I hope you enjoyed today’s build tips and tricks
