Hey on my law school friends my name is forage and welcome back to a brand new video now today we’re gonna be talking about what happened to Minecraft consultation minigames so at one point minecraft console minigames were one of the most popular parts of Minecraft console edition but over time the Community started to die down plus we only got three games so what happened to them so let’s start before the release before the release of minigames on console platforms or even before it was announced some modders found some files for the console edition minigames and while a Lot of people were really excited about this some weren’t really believing it I remember saying how many people were uploading videos on this topic and just making predictions and to be more exact I remember seeing people comment like is this real is this coming to Xbox 360 it Is coming to ps3 ps4 etc you wanna mean just those standard comments and to me I was actually believing that this could happen for the console edition and it could bring console edition back up to the top which it actually did now on June 21st of 2016 we actually got Ourselves a brand new update and believe it or not it was actually the console edition battle minigame and everyone a console at this point was no longer just playing creative or survival they now had minigames and wild battle mode was fun and great some people started to get Bored of the four maps at launch and we started to get ourselves battle minigame DLC which proved to be amazing in each map just getting better each time they had a total of 21 maps and a total of 5 map packs and they’re occurring ourselves for Minecraft consultation right now Now on August 30th of 2016 two months after the success of battle mode we got a new update containing a new minigame and guess what this minigame was based off of spleef and it was called tumble this new fast-paced minigame was basically spleef it wasn’t as popular as battle mode but did get Some attention from the community Trumble didn’t get any dlc but it did get new dlc for Christmas Halloween and as well as the console edition birthday and tumble would soon get buried well just say it would tumble under the next matching minigame it the glide minigame On March 28th of 2017 we got a brand new update and it contained a brand new minigame called the glide mini game since Alicia were just added to the console edition of Minecraft as of December 2016 4 J decided to make a mini game about the Alicia and a lot of People were really excited about this so glide was based around a very simple concept race against other players for the best time or score lots of people at fun trendy beat score on scoreboards while some people were just playing the game too just to have fun and I remember Trying to beat the score boards the number one spot and I remember how difficult it would be it would be almost impossible at the number one spot especially when people were cheating because there are some people finding glitches to beat the mini game very quickly and there are some people that Weren’t finding these glitches and we’re just trying to beat this top score and it got kind of unfair and just like with the battle mode we got ourselves some DLC for it as well in the form of track packs just like before looking better than the previous tracks we’ve got a Total of 11 tracks and a total of 3 track packs while we didn’t get any new mini games after that 4G did go back for one final mini game update on October 27th of 2017 so for this update they added new options to customize how we want to play the battle or tumble Minigames including lights per round hunger or no longer or even Opie items we add lots to do until the next big update for Council auditions that leads up to now we’re here in 2018 with no new mini game and the question still remains what happened to the console Edition Mini games well to be honest we may never know what really happened but I believe that players were just getting annoyed by all the constant updates for the mini games in the lack of constant updates I was one of those people mini game for fun to some extent but when we Get more updates to such a small part of the game and not the larger part it can get really annoying really fast and not everyone played the console edition mini games some just really wanted to play a creative mode some really wanted survival mode or even made their own Minigames because by the time we got ourselves these minigames everybody really stopped building all these awesome minigame apps for the console edition in the console edition community they used to flourish with awesome minigame maps adventure maps in even Hunger Games maps I remember those days now down in the comments please tell me What you thought of this video and everything that I said do you like the console edition minigames and if so what was your favorite console minigame mine was actually battle mode I played that a lot and if you enjoyed this video then please leave a like and subscribe for More videos by me in the future and I will see y’all next time bye Video Information
