Minecraft Create Mod Tutorial – Ore Processing System Ep 30

Hey everyone and welcome back to episode 30 of my create mod series now today i’m going to go over on how to make an ore processing system in create 0.3.1 and all of the newer versions if you haven’t seen a video pop up on the screen that means it still works in

You are going to need for this video now let me go over a couple things all these items are going to be listed in the description i have a feeling if you’re watching this video you’re pretty new to the create mods so don’t worry if you don’t know what these

Blocks are they’ll all be in the description um one other thing you are going to need is a piece of cobblestone for a filter all of these ores is just something i’m going to use at the end because this system can process anything from iron all the way to nether quartz ore to

Even diamond ore now what’s really cool is with the crushing wheel system that we’re going to use it will actually help make you have more diamonds than using like a fortune 3 pickaxe so just kind of keep that in mind maybe silk touching all of your

Ores and using the system would be a great idea for whatever survival world you are in one other thing you are going to want to have is a wrench and you are going to need at least three water sources i’ve just put three water buckets to make it easier but as long as

You have three water sources you’ll be good to go so let’s grab all these items and we can get started so before we get started i want to run through and how we’re going to set up our ore processing system because there are many of them on the internet but i’m

Going to show you the reason why we’re doing it a certain way so if we look at a piece of iron ore and we see what we can do with it traditionally we can throw it in a blast furnace throw it in a furnace and we can even use create mods in case

Fan and lava to just smell iron ore right into an iron ingot now what we are gonna do is we’re gonna throw it through a crushing wheel and what that does is it gives us the chance to make one piece of iron or crushed iron ore

But it also gives us a 30 chance to make two extras now what we’re going to do with the crushed iron ore is we could just smelt it and turn it into iron but instead what we’re going to do is we’re going to wash it and that gives

Us a guaranteed 10 nuggets and if you remember correctly and ironing it’s only nine and we’re the chance of making five more iron nuggets and then after that all we’re going to do is we’re going to place it into a mechanical press and it’s going to press our nuggets

Right into the iron ingot so this turns into an ore doubling or tripling system and you can get a ton of orb with just a couple blocks of whatever or you are looking for so that’s how we’re gonna go ahead and set up our system so let’s start

Building so the very first thing that we’re gonna do is make an area where we can insert our oars into a chest now you’re gonna see there’s a bunch of holes in the ground don’t panic all these you can design as we’re building through the system so don’t worry about

That even the glass blocks that are in the back so you just want to find an area where you want to place down a chest where all of your ores are going to start in so we’re just going to place down two chests just like that we’re gonna then go

Diagonal down and place one shaft we’re gonna rotate this guy so that he is facing in that direction i’m gonna go one two three four five six blocks out and place another shaft and then just connect this with a mechanical belt we’re also going to go one two three and

Place a shaft into our mechanical belt and then place two vertical gearboxes like so we’re also then gonna grab our crushing wheels and we’re going to place one two so what we’ve done here uh or if we’ve actually forgot one step we’re going to place an andesite funnel onto this chest

Is that our ores are going to go into this chest outside of our andesite funnel they’re going to go through our belt through our crushing wheels and get crushed into crushed ore and they’re going to continue along the belt now one issue that we’ve run into is if

We click on our iron ore you can see that if we crush it and most ores that we have a chance to make cobblestone so we need a way to actually pick up our cobblestone in the off chance that it goes through our system so all we’re gonna do is you can see

We’re one block away from the crushing wheel we’re just gonna go to the second one place down two chests we’re gonna grab a brass funnel place it onto this chest use our wrench to then rotate this guy so the arrow is facing towards the chest grab a piece of cobblestone and place it

On the filter so now all cobblestone is going to be picked up and placed into the chest now one other thing that we’ve run into is that things like iron and gold are just going to turn into crushed versions of themselves but things like diamonds lapis and quartz

Are not going to so we need a way to actually pull them out of the system already so all we’re going to do is just go to the next spot on the belt place down two chests oops not like this there we go place just like this we’re gonna grab a brass funnel

Or yeah brass funnel and we’re gonna place it onto this chest and we’re also gonna face it so it’s pointing towards the chest now what we wanna do here is instead of having to list out like diamonds lapis quartz all the things like this we’re just going to take a filter and

Make a deny list now what we do is we’re going to right click on our filter and we’re going to click on deny list so that this white bar is lit up now what we have to do is if we search up crushed in the jei system we’re just

Going to drag all of our crushed ore versions right into the filter right here now there is a brass version of course if you’ve made brass already you know that brass uh isn’t made in this system but in the off chance we throw it through our

System let’s go ahead and place it on this filter and hit the check mark now if you do not have just enough items that’s totally fine all you need to do is make the crushed versions of these items and drag it into the filter it doesn’t even use it up in the system

So once we do that we’re going to place our filter onto the brass funnel and we can move on to the next step so we have our mechanical belt right here and we need a way to pull off our crushed versions that have gone through

Here so we’re just going to place down a depot at the very end and our crushed versions will slide right onto the depot now once our crushed items slide onto the depot we need a way to actually wash them so something very quickly we’re going to do

Is just place off two shafts off to this belt and then right on two blocks away we’re gonna place down our encased fan so we’re gonna place it and then rotate it just like this so the encased fan is facing towards the depot we’re gonna grab a water bucket place it

Right in front so now once this is activated it’ll actually wash our crushed versions of our oars and then turn it into nuggets so next step is we need a way to pull our nuggets out and press them into ingots so diagonally up we’re just gonna place

A basin and it’s okay that it has its output shoot right here because what we’re gonna do is grab a brass funnel and connect it here we’re also gonna change it so the arrow is facing towards the basin and then we just have to make a new

Filter now on this filter make sure that it is under the allow list there’s a chance that it’ll still be on the deny list and if so you want to bring it back to the allow list because we only want to allow our nuggets to go through so in jei

We’ll drag a gold nugget iron nugget a copper nugget a zinc nugget and why not even a brass nugget into the system and we’ll hit the check mark again if you don’t have jei just grab a nugget for every single type of ore and you can just go ahead and place it

Into the filters to set that up now that we’ve done that we need to actually press our oars once they get into the basin so we’ll just grab a mechanical press and place it upwards it’s going to go two blocks above automatically that’s fine that’s what we’re looking for

And then once it’s pressed we need a way to actually output these ores so we’re just going to go diagonally down place down two shafts connect with the mechanical belts automatically it’ll open this little output area once it’s been pressed so that’s perfectly fine and we just need a way to

Actually place it back into another chest so we’ll place down two chests and an andesite funnel just like so so our last step is going to be to power this entire system so all we’re going to do is you can see we place down these two shafts we’re going to go

One two three four and in the fifth and the six blocks we’re going to actually put down water wheels now you’re gonna want your water wheels facing in a certain direction and the best way to do that is to place down two shafts just like that place down our water wheels oops

Place down our water wheels just like this and you want to make sure that they are facing clockwise not counterclockwise and you could tell that by the spokes of the water wheel once we do that we’re just going to place down water buckets and make sure

I’ve used this design that i’ve used in many of our videos that we have two blocks that are placed on the middle side of the water wheel and this allows us so when we place down our water that we’re getting the max amount of output possible from two water wheels

You can see it’s connecting to every single side except that middle side over there which is perfect so now that we have our power up and running we just got to connect everything so we’re going to place down a single shaft here we’re going to grab our

Cogwheels and we’re going to place one here place one here place one here another one right here if i can place it correctly we’re also going to place one two three cog wheels there to connect our mechanical press of the shaft place a gearbox here and then another

Shaft and what this has done is it’s powered our mechanical belt here it’s powered our mechanical press another mechanical belt as also our encased fan is moving it might be a little difficult to see the particles even in your system but if you look right here you can see they’re moving

So it’ll actually wash our auras on the depot you can see that this belt is powered we have both of our crushing wheels powered and they’re both moving in opposite directions which is perfect so all we need to do next is throw all of our oars into this chest so to prove

To you that it works with every single ore possible i’m gonna throw it all in here so you’re gonna watch that it’s all going through our system we have a diamond that’s getting picked up we have a bunch of items that are actually picked up from our chest we have our

Crushed items that are keep going through the system to be washed and if we keep watching you’ll even see our mechanical press go through so you can see that our nuggets are starting to be placed into the basin starting to be pressed into ingots and

You can see if we open this chest we’ve even gotten two diamonds five quarts 14 lapis you can already see on how much we’re doubling our oars so let me go ahead and let this system run and i’ll show you what our final output is all right so we just finished

Outputting all of our ores so we check our first chest we can see we got two diamonds five nether quartz we have a piece of gravel because i accidentally threw my cobblestone in there that’s totally fine ten redstone two uh emeralds 14 lapis and four coal so

Again if you remember we only put one of each of these ores in so to get that many back is a perfect amount of items also if we check our basin you can see we still have leftover nuggets so these will just be added to if we add any more iron zinc or

Copper that amount will just be added and then pressed and if you open this chest you can see we got four gold ingots two copper we only have a single iron but again remember there’s more nuggets inside the basin and we got two zinc so there you go nice and easy ore

Processing system so i just want to say thank you guys so much for watching this video i hope you guys enjoyed i figured i would make a new version of this or processing system because the last one i made was almost three months ago which is kind of crazy
