Minecraft Dungeons Gameplay Walkthrough Part 22 – Gauntlet of Gales! Howling Peaks DLC!

Hello zebra herd welcome back to minecraft dungeons in the last episode we got started with our return to minecraft dungeons we hopped into the howling peaks dlc today we’ll be continuing it last episode we did the winstop peaks and now we’re going to be trying the gauntlet of gales

Look at this our best shot we’re still going to keep on the maximum because our maximum power is still higher and it seems like no matter what we’re going to be guaranteed a new reward here with the artifacts that’s pretty exciting um also i noticed that the

Artifact that we got last episode i believe oh no you know what it was i think i saw a new artifact in the shop or something because that’s soul and we’ve had the harvester book i don’t know if we’ve gotten the soul soul lantern thing here the soul intern summons a

Creature of balanced souls who will fight by your side for a short time though that we’ve seen this one um this lantern still covered in the scenes of some far-flung place allows those who hold it to summon a creature formed a balance sole so might as well buy this

It’s pretty cheap pretty affordable um there we go now i already have a fishing rod i don’t know if this one’s better than the one i have uh it’s actually not so we’re gonna leave that be but i wanted to try this and just sort of see how it goes maybe

I’ll put it over that artifact whoa look at him that’s cool whenever i see something new i’m just going to try my best to scoop it up so that we can experience it so with that being said what about the uh blacksmith over this way does he have

Anything i could get some extra things i suppose i need to complete another mission for this defeat the arch illidger on adventure difficulty i guess i haven’t done that yet um either way we’re gonna hop back in and we’re going to try gauntlet gone of gales in the second level here and hope

It goes well i’m sure it’ll go great last episode it was a lot of work getting through everything but we did some good progress waits for heroes who will enter the sanctum and complete the challenges within will you try to best the power of the wind

Or will you find yourself blown away by the challenge i guess we’ll have to find out the wind was actually quite a problem in the last episode welcome to the gauntlet so i guess we press this button and it’ll open the doors up we can start exploring around

See as i defeat enemies you can see i’ll earn up souls i believe i don’t know if with these guys it counts or not um but with actual enemies it should so look around for that as much as we can right now we just got a bunch of goats

Oh yeah we changed it back to this harp though which i wonder if i could upgrade this at the blacksmith maybe something worth looking into um past the tests so let’s see with these guys well this give me the souls um yeah you can see the red meter on the bottom

So i don’t quite know how that works we’ll just keep beating up enemies and we’ll just try for our best here and see what ends up happening but look at the flame arrows with the harpo it does so well see i’m starting to collect these the meters going up and do i just

Activate it or i need up to there is the thing i think it’s saying we got a plate or a scale mill cool and it looks like there’s going to be multiple ways to go i think to the right is where we’re supposed to go so we’ll

Go to the other areas first of course and it also be good to actually use the bose because it always resets you back to 50 after the level is done we had over like 400 at the end of last episode but it looks like our soul meter isn’t

Going up too much over time if this doesn’t seem to work very much i’ll go and try something else but those should be some extra souls it’s going up just albeit slowly is there anything in this room we’ve got some enemies to fight whoa they’re exploding i guess it was a creeper

Some more some spiders ow that one hurt gotta be careful some more arrows Could have been better could have been worse but we do get a treasure chest for our troubles good stuff good stuff back over here got some swiftness potions and this thing really is filling up slow i think there are certain weapons we could equip too but that might be back in my chest

Though unfortunately yeah yikes okay um that maybe would give me more souls because i know at some point we had a really solid build that worked entirely off of souls but eventually you know you find higher scaling seth it is slowly filling up so i’m guessing

This is gonna light up once we can use it but didn’t realize how many enemies it takes to fill that kind of thing up okay so looking around here is there really anything i can get to i i guess not whoa i don’t know if i was supposed to fall

Down here okay i’m fine This seems to be another one of these puzzles so i can activate this to sort of force the wind going a different direction and there we go that seems like it solved something maybe uh so i got it through there up there down into this thing certainly that’s done something right

Let me use my health potion again because it’s a little low i suppose maybe oh i see i’m supposed to push these so that the platforms uh okay i understand now so what we have to do actually is rotate this and that’ll push these next here i don’t

Think they’ll be pushed back so that should solve it i get it now a bit of a tricky puzzle but figured it out yeah now we can go across no problems just like that easy i would definitely get rid of him as soon as possible when

Guys were not fun to deal with last episode okay we got some flames popping up oh are these new enemies explain guys enchanted mountaineer i think so whoa is it that enchantment is something new for me i’ll use my potion now i’ll check out these side paths to see

If there’s anything good a chest waiting for me another scale mill and a bunch of enemies too gotcha more coming in good we are slowly getting more and more souls i just need to really work on it is all okay plenty of arrows so i don’t have to

Worry about being i suppose frugal with them anymore i do have it okay so i guess we’ll get to see if that is something new should i use it here though or should i wait for something more challenging i’m not quite sure i’ll try it

I gotta remember if i dodge around a lot so there is our little guy right there he’s already helping us beat up enemies i hope it lasts for a good while though because if not that’ll be a bit of a letdown use potions oh we got a weekly challenge complete awesome

Okay so yeah hopefully our little guy follows us there is sort of a bar over there their head i’m guessing that’s gonna be the time that they’re allotted you know why what was that noise oh was that them gone already yeah that didn’t last super long

So i’m guessing the best thing to do there is going to be using it when there is a ton of enemies so as you can see i can’t quite afford it now but the door closed how am i getting in there oh there’s some enemies over this way

Gotcha i can beat them up no problem was that it okay i guess heading over here oh maybe i have to stay in the zone whoa it pushed me out so why not always be the easiest i should probably try to dodge ah a little too soon on that one

Yeah just keep doing this until something seemingly happens okay Ah is this really getting anything done i think so it seems to give up it gave up the door is still closed that might be one side again that door is back to being open so i think we have to just do the same thing on this side

Grab those start my fire arrows up a little bit the only problem with this area is it’s very closed in trying to dodge in time i end up messing it up a lot gotcha i think we’re almost done there’s only took like three or four of those before before it was finished

Sooner or later there it goes okay so we got that we’re earning up souls again yeah we’re good to fight all these guys gotcha so far great work here through the uh whatever this level is called the gauntlet of gales what are these guys oh tnt don’t mind if

I do i think i’m gonna throw it over that way whole cluster of them coming over got it that was cool wasn’t a one-hit takedown but still pretty good overall get rid of you real fast and grab some supplies so we’re supposed to be going up and to the left a little bit

This area seems really big so i will certainly be doing what i can to explore around find everything and we do have enough souls for another use of this potion thing but i will save it until we’re really in a bind got it started using those flame arrows again

Or even just the normal arrows because we have over 200 of them so yeah this is definitely dead end but maybe another treasure chest or something will show up at least some enemies so it’s always good to sort of circle around each area to really make sure you’ve gotten everything

As i guess we’ll be getting something out of this now but if i didn’t fully walk around it might have not even triggered not really sure whoa we’re getting ourselves another treasure chest with plenty of emeralds anything in this one yep we got the walk all the way in

Okay that hurt i gotta be really careful the creepers if i can fight them first i think he’s over there got him oh i’m stuck the spiderweb oh that’s scary gotta be real careful that have another claymore and plenty of emeralds so back over this fine what else do we have going on

Skeleton pretty easy to access chest is there not going to be any enemies to fight with this one i guess not we’re halfway through our soul meter and there’s that corner sort of finished when it comes to exploring I’ll wait until we find a big cluster before we use this tnt really made the most event did i pick up another claymore there i think so and what’s up this way weird spot for a dead end that’s exactly what it is So back down here i’ll throw my tanty up there it’s a nice little bottleneck for it i think it only got the skeleton so never mind but worth a try oh and we get a level up we’re level 52 now another enchantment point available i’ll have to consider where i might want

To use that oh wow so that wind that’s going to do something what exactly i’m not sure i mean right now we’re just trying to pass this whoa look at you you’re new a giant wind golem that’s so cool let’s see new enemies what is with this is a button

Maybe that’s where the wind going came from because i the one thing over here odd there’s not really much more i can do there that was definitely neat though i’m gonna use this potion now definitely used a fire arrows against this big group the objective past the tests i thought i

Was already working on that but i will continue to do so here’s another chest some extra free stuff almost at 5 000 emeralds now which will be definitely useful aha another one another claymore we have like five of them at this point okay i can’t check now those guys no problem

All their friends are coming in though gotcha one more ah creeper i got the creeper we’re fine see if i take a look real fast i have one two three four claymores that is too many especially when this is just a much higher damage weapon so back over here

A zombie or an illager or something and i guess we’re good to take this jump whoa whoa whoa okay we’re going somewhere was i supposed to be able to okay that was a little odd i could keep going or i think i can hop down yeah down this

Way oh this is cool oh gotta be really careful now i need to use my potion heal back up there’s plenty of stuff to find down this way plenty more souls to get i think we made it full circle just a couple of extra enemies to take down is always good

I wonder if i time that wrong will it be yeah okay that’s what i gotta be careful of we’re fine now we’re fine no need to worry no yes i do have to worry so there’s that one little time there that we have to time correctly i guess that’s the test the moderate

Bluster Okay this time i think we got it i like our fox is going farther ahead i’m going to wait for that to go off or not i just okay didn’t want to wait too long got him so we’re already starting to make a dent into level 53 that’ll be nice

Speaking of which i wonder how many and we have 12 enchantment points at the ready we haven’t found any weapons that have that third level though maybe that’s just for the even higher difficulties because we’re still on normal mode we can always go back and grind out some

Other stuff i just don’t know how interested people would be to see that this is so cool these moving platforms whoa um but yeah i don’t know how interested people would be to see that kind of thing just because it’s the same levels we’ve already played watching me play

Them again might not be the most interesting thing okay got it oh no oh i fell darn that’s not so good tricky timing for sure okay i guess i’m not getting those arrows it might just be better to run across like that yeah and then go for it no oh scary

Come on this is the last one more or less it’s the last one but then i gotta get across there definitely not easy to do that got it more enemies to take down i think we can handle enough almost filled up with our soul meter which is nice

I do not remember the soul meter taking so long to fill up though so i don’t know if that really changed or something we have our tnt at the ready use that soon i did not mean to use it there whoops okay it’s fine

When i said soon i did not mean at that exact moment but sometimes it happens i don’t know exactly where i’m supposed to be going but down here there’s plenty of stuff to check out so oh another one of these guys so they aren’t even turned on yet

So that’s sort of the thing look at that so if i hit this button that’ll just turn them on so maybe this is where i could use my little buddy did that work yeah he’s right there and wow he does some major damage okay so i definitely see the benefit of that

It takes a while to earn up but it can most certainly be worth it another one over this way oh we got the hunter’s armor i don’t know if we’ve seen too much of that heading back over here a couple more enemies i think that’s just about this area finished

Finished up a bit we still have three out of six secrets three more chests try my best to find them okay we’re gonna sneak up on them get that big critical hit that was nice pass the tests i know don’t worry about it we’re getting there

So actually this might be the way i’m supposed to get now i’m seeing that objective over there so i might have to backtrack a little it just seems like there’s so many different ways to go it’s very open-ended come on these are more enchanted mountaineers aha another treasure chest and plenty of

Enemies to boot i have 500 errors i didn’t even realize i had that many wow cause this only uses one at a time but it shoots out so many as you can see could be quite useful is that going to be all of them looks like it there’s still more to find so

What about over here does that count i think it did five out of six secrets that number typically goes up as we explore which is a little bit odd when you think about it but that’s how the game works i did really miss this sort of gameplay

Loop that this game has though where you just get to go and you get to thoroughly explore everything find all these cool secrets it gets real satisfying let’s get back up here for us and try this way instead there’s plenty of bad guys waiting for us i’m sure yep here they come

Look so many of them i can just fire them all down and now i get the tnt not after or not before i run into the big cluster of enemies but after very silly it is what it is there’s so many arrows now 547 of them

But i could probably just shoot my way through from here And i’m guessing there’ll be a group of enemies here if i run around enough or yep there you go maybe no chess but at least enemies got him i’ll be one more group and we get a chance for it so as you can see that’s jumped from six out of nine instead of

Five out of eight the more we find the more the number raises which really makes it weird that it’s even like a maximum because the maximum changes often and maybe we’d miss some stuff earlier on it’s really hard to find everything in this game especially since it’s all totally sort

Of random at times not like other games where collecting is sort of required it’s all sort of chance based okay i missed the last group okay now it’s saying six out of six for secrets fine there so that’s good and i think that means yeah we’re going

To explore this area and then we can go back the other way so we’re almost through it all but we are certainly being productive with that that’s exactly what i want oh here we go activate that thing that’ll turn on one of those air golems another guy chased me down that way

Drink the potion now oh where did he go doesn’t seem to be here anymore oh there he is he tried to get me i tried to get him a little awkward but here we are the monk leaf is quite easy to get rid of and what about down here nothing okay

So i think that means we’re basically good to go back i’m just gonna run all the way over luckily our character with the swift potion is pretty fast But now that’s over get back down this way this is where we went first and i sort of made a mistake by doing that because it was not where we needed to be right away so we explored all that we just got to go straight down

Quite the labyrinth we seem to be in deep within the tall mountain so yeah we went to the right going straight down whoa uh so how do i get across just like that okay here comes a ride oh man uh so i guess there’ll be sort of different spots we could end up

Want to be really careful here because i want to end up here goku go got it nice so i got a potion of stuff there oh i’m gonna cross this way i’m really trying to find everything but that might be easier said than done whoa brings this way over

Because i need to explore that side a little bit and shoot at this guy while we’re floating around pretty easy pretty easy hey guys see ya oh no he got on got on go geez okay so from here oh no i didn’t mean to fall off whoops gotta go across

And get like this and i don’t know if there’s even anything over there it doesn’t seem like it i just have to make extra sure so that’s about everything i can reach really so i think oh man we’re good here yeah we got it we got it so i just have

To wait for the lift to come by again and we should be fine oh yeah not happening just trying to throw stuff on me i’m not gonna let it happen pretty good pretty good so the uh next thing is hurricane warning past the task so we’re still passing this test

But overall we’re doing quite well and what’s down this way another chest for us to grab thank you very much but no enemies okay oh double strength potion so what’s going on with this one ah it’s gonna leave a little pathways i’ll grab that then will that wake you up won’t

There are all sorts of ways to go ah oh no i’m stuck okay i’m fine that was a little scary thought i’d be that way forever not miss that too much go so it’s hard to tell which golem it’s actually going to weak when you get these

There’s another one i’ll get you in just a moment i guess that was the solution oh let me activate this because i already have max holes might as well but there’s still another goal i’m waiting for me so maybe i could find a way to get him i would like to go

Against all of them you see i don’t have to but certainly fun too here we go i think that’s going to be the one i’m looking for it’s going to spin this way i guess i can’t go through that lie i suppose if i wait long enough but i

Don’t have to can just go like this activate that what did that do over here huh not quite sure i’ll grab that strength potion soon enough just really wanted to make sure that was everything make sure i get every golem here he is i knew it was him

Oh there we go come on please hit it i don’t think it worked oh well that’s fine i still get a swiftness potion for that and i think that’s everything around here looks like it to me okay there’s whoa big guy i haven’t seen him

Oh he’s mean oh we got him we got him yeah that’s certainly everything whoa huge creepers giant enchanted creepers with double damage and burning don’t want to deal with that was cool though finish the gauntlet i’m trying my best okay let’s uh throw that get my potion

Oh man here we go ready and swing i the storm survived the final test so i think whenever this guy disappears i will try to spawn another because we have plenty of souls for it okay he’s gone i gotta wait for the cooldown to happen

And then i can spawn in another maybe i i did that a little too soon now because they don’t last super long i really want to save it for there’s a bunch of enemies out but we’re earning more souls as we do that you know yes he’s already gone it happened so quick

Just with us being so higher level too i think that makes it a difference got it i don’t know let me fill up again the aero bundle over 600 eras that is ridiculous no you don’t fire arrows at the ready there’s still plenty more enemies in the skyline it seems

Oh whoa here here we go huge uh i’m gonna spawn in my little buddy the illusionary the illusioners are fun to go against but we got him never mind new objective claim your prize oh no dodge got it Awesome another enemy over that way look at all these pots plenty of good prizes nice so what’s going to be up here whoa so i just get the choose one or i get both i get the hunter’s armor so this potion strength potion and the enchanter stone whoa

That’s new i think and here we have the scale male arrow bundle and tnt awesome is that going to be the end of the level i think so Okay so i guess no voiceover for this one that’s fine so there’s that level completed we did a really great job going through everything and got ourselves a new thing but look at this we are not quite done we got all chests uh we only defeated 88 of mobs even

Though i very thoroughly searched i never really know how that works well let’s see what’s in our artifact chest we get an updraft tone an ancient book filled with eligible glyphs you feel a strange breeze as you flip through the pages so yeah let’s take a

Look at some of the things we unlocked in today’s episode first off we have all these claymores none of them really you know make the cut as far as i can tell so i think i’m gonna be salvaging all of these i wish it was sort of a

Shortcut for salvaging oh there you go right uh or not i thought i’d press enter there suppose not either way range stuff we don’t have anything we got this new armor the hunter’s armor hunters may not be the fanciest gear round but it will it will stop a bleed

I don’t think that’s better than what we currently have likely the frost armor which is a unique so we’re really going to have something that has to pack a punch to sort of improve that which i don’t think this or the scale male does uh oh

I think i just uh i did the wrong one uh oh that’s not what i meant to do uh and it didn’t give you the chance to undo it ah no okay well silly mistake okay so let’s see what i do have then whoops mistakes happen right um

Okay i don’t want to give up one or a couple points in damage if i could get like yeah something like two things this does errors per bundle and range damage which i do a lot of ranging so maybe that’s good let’s do this one then

Oh that was such a silly move to make uh what did i do okay uh so i have to be more careful next time i just didn’t mean to click that and then but by the time i realized i uh kind of undo it anymore so let’s

See what upgrades we can get for this because we do have a lot of points and the thing is we got our points back there too so speed synergy or shadow surge what a shadow search mobs defeated while in shadow form grant extra souls okay that could work well with our one tone

Um i’m not defeating any artifact taking 20 movement speed for a short time this could be good too um because we can move really really fast through things so i might go for this one for now because we could always i think there’s a way to clear it

I’m not entirely sure either way um we have either frenzied while you’re at less than half health million tech range and attack speeds are increased which doesn’t happen to us all not too much so we’ll sure snowball fires a snowball nearby enemy every few seconds briefly

Stunning it that seems good um so we’ll try with that i know this isn’t the best thing in the world but we’ll try to look at our other options too we do have the enchanters tome which seems new to me cast random enchantments on the two allies that will aid them in unexpected

Ways so this seems like more of a multiplayer one but i will put this here to try it uh meant only to be wooded by enchanters the magic of this artifact can summon powerful enchantments so let’s try it so as you can see since nobody is really here

It doesn’t really do too much yeah okay so really not too much we can do with that one but we could go back to our artifacts and equip this thing i can’t because it’s still restoring yeah i guess give that a moment or i could just try it on a different

Thing um just like that so this one i haven’t even used and it’s still giving me a problem um but let’s take a read of that uh launch enemies into the year starting and damaging them an ancient book filled with elig illegible glyphs you feel a strange

Breeze as you flip through the pages pretty cool um so that needs a moment anyways maybe we could look around because we still have we have plenty of stuff we get a random artifact or a random item i don’t know if we’ve ever gotten anything too crazy by these

Scatter mines that’s new actually set your enemies up for a surprise with the explosive power of scatter mines cool so maybe i’ll just buy some of these since i have the money grab the seeds we already have uh ghost cloak the souls trapped within the ghost cloak are protected but they’re really extensive

Melancholy or molecularly i think it’s molecularly um so yeah let’s take a look at some of those so the ghost cloak is new for me i’m going to put that there so you guys get a better look at everything so first off that would just send them up in the air

And flying that’s pretty cool i do like that one and then we have i’ll put this here put that there actually try this one so let’s try the ghost cloak if i take a look here briefly getting ghost form allowing you to move through mobs and absorb some damage gives us 10

Speed how much speed does the boots give us uh it doesn’t even tell you um 10 speed six six second cooldown the soul’s trapped with the ghost clicker protective yeah and then scatter mind scatter three explosive minds on the ground around you that detonate when an enemy is in range

Wow ow okay they can hurt me too though gotta be really careful that huh interesting so honestly i feel like i’d end up hurting myself a lot with that one but if i whoa it was so fast okay i do like that so i think what we’ll do is we’ll keep

The ghost cloak um that one’s nine percent this is ten percent so i think i can salvage the nine percent speed one um we also got more corrupted seeds which i’ve had before but this one seems to be a bit better so i’ll salvage that one um

So i don’t need this thing as much i think that’s where we’re just going to go back to the fire arrows because they’re really good i really like fire arrows so we’ll keep with that and we’ll keep going but man we’re going to be so quick we’ll go to zoom around

Just like nobody’s business and that also gives me some speed synergy too so like we’re doing really well so next episode we’ll be going to the gale sanctum i don’t think there’s too much more i want to do here i’ll check to see if i had any extra armor it

Doesn’t seem like that i made a big mistake with that i’m sorry i didn’t mean to but we do have something here like the thief armor maybe i really should start just like putting some to the side just in case that happens again how do i get more rescue capture villagers during missions

I i haven’t seen any so maybe over time i’ll find some more none of these are you know two must-have stuff um So this is where i’m a little curious to finish an unknown grid you need to complete three missions at a minimum difficulty based on the item’s power item power is rerolled based on so this will upgrade some things but it only upgrades artifacts i don’t think that’s the case i think

That’s just all i have in my inventory so let’s try what if i upgraded we had the grave bean what do i have right now what damage is that i know i’m taking a long time to do this but it’s worth it we have 48 for that i could try the soul

Crossbow hmm because give that soul gathering or i could you know we’re at this spot where our characters are pretty strong you know what if i just go and upgrade that again so if i put this here how will upgrade it i guess it’ll give it even more projectiles

Is that what it does it’s hard to tell but i’m gonna upgrade it we’re gonna do three missions on default difficulty and hopefully that makes it even better while that’s happening i can go get my other ranged weapon and just use that for the time being yep use this transfer inventory

And equip it our power goes back up to 42. hopefully we can get some better armor soon that’d be great but did we make any progress with this um we’re level four now so we can claim some extra emeralds it doesn’t say how many it’s a mystery um

And look at this guy the stone ministrosity reward i think this is like a companion the stoneman’s trustee is a chip off the old stone block adorable very cool hopefully we can keep making progress through that and eventually get somewhere um for right now though i think that’s

About everything i want to do in today’s episode everything we can get to there’s the luxury merchant oh auto crossbow for 48 damage 15 off what i have to do here defeat powerful mobs so we’re getting there with this one let’s try this autocrossbow exerted fire rate high fire rate that sounds fun

And that’s another unique okay sure and we get some upgrades too which we have plenty of room for so i got the radiant shot or the committed what is this has a 50 chance to spawn a circular area that heals you and all allies within the area or committed deal

Increased damage against already wounded enemies sure that’ll be good against bigger enemies and boss fights and such you guys have exploding moms explode after they are defeated or has a chance to fire five errors in all directions on impact those both sound really good i think this sounds a little bit better though

Those are some pretty major upgrades we got an achievement for that seriously overpowered so don’t accidentally salvage this one for sure let’s turn it over and try it out real fast and you can see it doesn’t do a ton at first whoa whoa oh my gosh that’s what it does

The uh auto crossbow that’s crazy that’s insane we’re gonna be able to roll things over with that so what a major find to finish things off i think um we’re going to keep it like that for now i don’t think we’re gonna do anything more in today’s episode but

Honestly i’m feeling actually more powerful than ever so whatever that we lost that one piece of armor it’s gonna be fine but for right now that is gonna wrap it up for today’s episode of minecraft dungeons thank you guys so much for watching i’ll see you next time bye bye
