Hello everybody and welcome to a brand new mod pack hi we’re back here in the sky if you walk over here man it lets you know that you’ve moved to a birch Forest oh my goodness oh yeah that’s good between that and the Meadows Isaac oh hopefully

That doesn’t play a significant did you get I got a big text on my the center of my screen that said Birch Forest when I walked over here for the first time oh I did it I did it really Isaac I just looked no you may have done it before

The start of the stream but as you might have done it before to a new biome you get like a little thing that pops up in the middle and says it tells you what you’re in Madness anyway Nick this is a brand new mod pack from the people over

At feed the beast called FTB Skies it’s a 1.19.2 questing mod pack that looks pretty nifty it’s a little different to some of the mod packs that we’ve been playing as of recently because it’s not like a super heavy progression focused mod pack like some of the packs we play

Like you do this and then this and then this and then it kind of walks you through step by step the whole you know chain of events here this big yeah is a little bit more free form you’ll see the quests are broken up into storage there’s one section called stuff and

Things which is just a questline full of stuff and things that you can make there’s magic there’s Tech there’s gearing up there’s exploration and then one thing that I really like the look of about this mod picnic I know this is the first episode it’s a little early to be

Talking about the end game but instead of having like a super high-end creative item to make or like a ton of singularities if you go to the bottom here to the overpowered questline Nick the way there’s like different tiers of end game so there’s these first tier

Which is just power 10 000 RF easy right not even hard oh but it moves on in tears where the second like line of quests starts with a hundred thousand RF that you have to hand in okay and then there’s a million then there’s a hundred million there’s a hundred billion at the

Bottom oh my gosh anyways there’s kind of just Milestone quests to hand in here right along the way there right I see yeah you can see that okay okay that’s interesting the very last questline having like a Kill The End Dragon get some antimatter pellets but like even

That last quest line doesn’t look terrible two terms of like insane crazy like endgame of grindy Singularity nonsense right yeah it’s not make a 692 000k me storage creative disc right yes it could surprise me the cases woefully annoying okay it’s um yeah right yeah that could be that could be pretty bad

So so yeah that’s that’s nice actually we’ve got a lot of like creative control here Isaac we could kind of take things at our own pace we can build a home build a family together that’s Nick that’s all I’ve ever wanted man is to build a family together

So it looks like Nick in the early game here we’ve got a new mod that we’re going to be uh using for resource generation it’s a mod called create sifter right so it says shifter the first question and it says sifters will allow you to run materials through such as gravel

Sand and dust uh to get through measures to get materials a hand crank produces enough stress capacity for eight sifters sifters also have a cog in them so you can place them in a line of other cogs make sure the Cog wheel that is part of the sifter aligns with the Cog wheel

Your hand crank is on you’ll also need to make sure you place the mesh in the sifter the material to sift should be thrown or hopped into the top not placed as AIR block so we have like a you kind of creates mechanical-esque uh sifting system that we’re going to use here do

You have by any chance Nick actually never mind well good I have instead sifter here it is ah nice hello oh I didn’t realize it would look like this I was expecting the old it’s not just a name change it’s not just a name change no we gotta we gotta

Wonder here this has got like um it shows I’m gonna move it up a second because it shows the Cog wheeler which would imply a cogwheel might be needed but sometimes yeah sometimes you can it’s gonna be awkward but with a lot of machines from Korea right there’s either

A hole to put the hand crank on or there’s like a place to a wheel that you put a cogwheel next to and then you can put the hand crank on the cogwheel with these sifters These are kind of like the grindstones from create in there oh they

Call the millstones baby but either way you can put the hand crank on the bottom all right like this and have it spin the only downside to this I guess is that now this is quite high up right yeah yeah we did a little staircase so there

We go look at this beauty I put our things in so one of us can stand at the top and Lord of uh and I can I can crank it did say drop in right yes make sure the Cog wheel you also need to make sure you place the mesh all

The mesh needs to go in the sift I made a string mesh there it is all right it’s in there man oh oh yeah it’s getting squeeze it’s getting squeezed like because surely the next gen physics man surely the idea is with that one actually the idea is that it’s

Supposed to just kind of run through like a sieve right not get squished no no it’s that’s like the opposite of what’s going on here compression right it’s not compression at all this is this is lossy compression geez oh my God yeah this is seriously velocity compression this is like

Decompression when trying to compress Isaac because it’s so you only get iron nuggets when you sift gravel in a string mesh and there’s only a 40 chance we got one iron nugget from like five gravel oh yeah okay that’s not it’s not lucky man
