In this video i will be ranking every game set in the minecraft universe in a tier list from normal minecraft to minecraft dungeons i will rank the worst and the best of the minecraft franchise all in this video this is the pinnacle minecraft games tier list

Controllable games and minecraft story mode was no different so when story mode first got announced a lot of people were really confused and not sure if it would be good because minecraft was never really about the story and more about exploration and creativity but people were still optimistic

And then the game actually came out and it got pretty mixed reviews some people liked it but others thought it was too childish and it didn’t help that story mode came out in short episodes that were five dollars a piece so at the time you had to wait before

You could even see what happens next but there were some really cool things about story mode i mean they got popular minecraft youtubers to come in and voice act as themselves in the game and this was also the first minecraft game that wasn’t actual minecraft so that itself was a

Pretty entertaining experience and of course per minecraft fashion this game was also made available on every device with a screen so that’s always a nice bonus but while all that does seem pretty okay you can’t actually play story mode anymore you see back in 2018 telltale the company who developed story

Mode got shut down and with them getting shut down mojeng announced that on june 25th 2019 minecraft story mode itself would be shut down and they warn players to download the game one last time before it got completely removed and then it happened it got completely removed now today if you want

To play minecraft story mode the easiest way is on netflix yeah i wasn’t expecting that either but it is on netflix although it’s been heavily downgraded to make it a somewhat enjoyable experience on there so it’s not even the real minecraft story mode you would find anywhere else but because

Of the mix reception from fans and because it’s extremely hard to even play the true version of the game anymore minecraft story mode is an average tier minecraft dungeon so minecraft dungeons is a dungeon crawler similar to games like hades and path of exile and it’s currently the newest of all the

Minecraft games but let’s be honest here a top-down dungeon crawler game isn’t really the first thing you think of when you’re talking about minecraft but somehow mojang and double 11 who helped develop this game made it work minecraft dungeons is a game where you go through a series of rooms and stages

Hacking and slashing your way through mobs all while getting new gear and making yourself stronger it’s a great casual experience and there’s even multiplayer that allows you to bring friends in to help you on your journey it’s actually pretty good but it’s not all good in typical minecraft

Fashion the story isn’t amazing and it draws a lot of inspiration from games in the same genre almost to the point of minecraft dungeons just being a reskin of other popular dungeon crawler games and on top of all that the base game is incredibly short in length but

To be fair the game is only 20 dollars and they did add some cheap dlc to help out with the length a little bit so honestly it does have some flaws but for the price i think it’s a decent minecraft game even when it probably shouldn’t have been

Good tier minecraft story mode season two now season two is really just season one with some extra features thrown in there and it really just didn’t do anything too different and considering how season one wrapped up the story pretty neatly i didn’t really think we needed a season two

And you could really see that in the hype behind season two i mean i remember hearing everyone talk about story mode season one but honestly i feel like i never heard anything about a season two when it was coming out don’t get me wrong it wasn’t terrible it’s just that

Because season one was so meh then season two if it didn’t try to do anything different was just bound to be forgotten and forgotten it was minecraft story mode season two is a faulty tier minecraft earth now minecraft earth was a mobile only augmented reality game

That gives you a map of your real-life surroundings and overlays it with minecraft items and blocks and if you walk to certain areas on your map in real life you would get special rewards and can advance in the game it’s basically pokemon go but minecraft and that’s exactly what people thought when

This game got announced in fact a lot of people thought that minecraft earth would actually defeat pokemon go and be more popular than it but unfortunately that’s not exactly what happened you see minecraft earth officially released on december 11 2019 and little did everyone know only a couple months after it released everyone

Was suddenly advised to stay inside and clearly for minecraft earth which main goal is to go outside and walk around this wasn’t very good so now mojeng was stuck with a game that was almost useless and on top of all that this wasn’t exactly a very hyped up game either

The popularity surrounding this game when it came out even before everyone was staying inside was very low i could only assume mojang was waiting for that 2020 summer to hit for them to really start advertising the game because that’s when most people would have been outside but since no one could

Or wanted to be outside during summer anyway i assume mojang just left minecraft earth in the rubble but what about the game itself was it good well it wasn’t perfect it had trouble running on old devices and even some new ones it was also pretty heavy on microtransactions basically asking

People to use real money to speed up certain objectives but to be fair that’s almost every free mobile game now how about the good stuff though well it is pretty cool seeing minecraft put into real life especially when it’s a creation you built yourself but once that cool factor

Wears off there’s not too much game here to be had and we can’t forget the worst part about all this mojang announced that on june 30th 2021 minecraft earth will be shutting down for good it’s sad but i see why they did it now i’m sorry but minecraft earth is a bad tier

Now minecraft the original game that started it all i mean how do you begin when talking about the minecraft it’s the most popular and most sold game in the world it’s the reason why all these games even exist it’s a game that proved it could

Stand the test of time it’s a game that wasn’t bred to be a huge success but just so happened to be one it’s the only game on this list that’s main point is to actually mine and craft does it have problems probably but does anyone care probably but does that make us stop
