Today, we’re going to cover some new Fabric mods for Minecraft. I was on vacation recently, so this video is a bit late, but all of these mods were released throughout January. And I recorded this video on Minecraft one point nineteen. And if you like the look of any of these mods, you can find the links to download them in the description below. YUNG came out with another new mod, and it brings an improvement to the Nether Fortress. The main goal is to make them larger and more complex, according to the mod description, And it definitely does that. Many of the Vanilla structures tend to feel pretty basic, as they don’t carry much detail, and YUNG has done a great job modernizing the Fortress and improving similar structures in their other mods. And once again, these changes are made using Vanilla blocks, as they contain no new items Or mobs. I think this new design definitely fits the name of a fortress, too, as it has a significant central structure, which you can enter through a gatehouse. This mod is also for Forge, but I somehow missed it in my recent Forge video. Next up is Villagers Plus, which is similar to the More Villagers mod, as it adds quite a few new Villager professions that come with new workstations. The mod includes the Horticulturist, Occultist, Oceanographer, and Alchemist. And these use the Flower Tub, Aquarium, Enchanted Basin, and Alchemist Table as workstations, all with crafting recipes. You can trade items like Moss Blocks, Bone Meal, Amethyst Shards, Poisonous Potatoes, Scute, Axolotl Buckets, Blaze Powder, and a lot more. With the profession blocks having Crafting Recipes, it’s easy to obtain these new Villagers, but you can also find them naturally spawning, even within new structures. Beautify adds quite a few new decorative items into Minecraft, which have their own functions. Firstly, there are blinds, which come in each wood type, as well as iron, and can be opened or closed. They even connect so that they all move together at once. After placing down a Picture Frame, you can sneak and right-click to change the art inside. Lattices can be placed on buildings, plants can be added to them, and they can even be climbed like a ladder. And in Villages, you might come across the Botanist, a new Villager who uses the Botanist Workbench. They actually sell some decorations from the mod, as well as other nature-themed blocks. There are a few other items, like Candles, Lampshades, Bookstacks, Rope, and Lightbulbs. Super Fancy Clouds adds a more dynamic cloud system to Minecraft. It’s highly configurable, so you can determine things like density, width and thickness. But these clouds are also able to detect the weather in your world, or the biome you’re in, and act accordingly. And you can even get these to work with Shaders. With them still feeling like the Vanilla clouds, I think that this mod offers a huge improvement. Beneath the Wetlands changes Swamps, with it adding new structures, which are Gears, Pistons, Pipes, and Mechanisms. And these all have different variants, as they might be different sizes or broken. Near these structures, you might find the Elder Golem spawning, which is hostile to players. But you can even summon a friendly version of these using Copper Blocks and Animated Copper Gears. Other changes include being able to create Gunpowder from Sulfur, finding Bog Iron, and some decorative blocks, with more coming in the future. Some expansions were released for Farmer’s Delight, with the first being Cultural Delights. It adds new crops including Eggplant, Avocado, Corn, and Cucumber which can be found growing wildly. One use for these is to place them in crates and store them. However, they can also be used to create lots of new meals and foods. Thanks to the main Farmer’s Delight mod, you can create foods like Tacos, Wraps, Salads, Rolls, and more, mostly inside the Cooking Pot and Crafting Table. Or there are Medleys, which are feasts, meaning you can take individual servings, similar to a Cake. There is also Farmer’s Respite, which focuses around tea and brewing. You’re able to obtain the likes of Tea Leaves and Coffee Beans from bushes. And some new cooking equipment is added, which is the Kettle, and it requires a heat source. Inside it, you can cook all different types of Tea and Coffee, such as Green Tea, Dandelion Tea, and Black Tea. But other drinks can be made such as Melon Juice, Apple Cider, and Hot Cocoa, which all give different effects. Or they can extend already active effects, and clear just negative ones, so there is a lot of variation. And there are a few new meals, such as Black Cod, Blazing Chilli, and Coffee Cakes, which is a feast. Kelvin’s Better Player Animations makes quite a lot of improvements to the appearance of your character. Now, players should move in a more fluid and animated way, with lots of animation changes Coming to the likes of running, jumping, sneaking, attacking, and quite a lot more. Even climbing ladders look more realistic, as your character will actually grab onto the planks and climb. It reminds me of the Mo’ Bends mod, from older versions of Minecraft. The Warden has a ranged attack, called the Sonic Boom, and from now on, Wardens can drop the Warden Horn when killed with this mod installed. Using this weapon, you can deal damage to mobs up to forty blocks away, with it having a cool down of 11 seconds. It’s able to one hit some mobs, and if they survive, they’ll be knocked away. But it’s also configurable. Another decoration mod is Convenient Decor, which adds items like different colored leaf piles. Or there are Unbundled Haybales, or just piles of Hay, which also come in block form. A useful addition is the refillable Watering Can, which can be used to hydrate Farmland permanently. There are quite a lot of Umbrellas which can be held, and these can be opened or closed by right-clicking. When opened, they’ll reduce the amount of fall damage taken as you’ll fall slower, Capped at 4 hearts of damage. Or they can be displayed in the game world in quite a few ways. Equipping a Rain Coat, Boots, and Hat will give bonuses in the rain, such as extra max health and movement speed. Weather Vanes can emit Redstone Signals, depending on weather conditions. And finally, there are quite a few decorative items, such as tools and umbrella racks. Halo HUD will show your current hunger and health around the crosshair, provided they’re both below seventy percent. Otherwise, they’ll become hidden so that they don’t become distracting, and this can be configured. And when underwater, there is another bar that will appear to show you how much air you have left. This mod adds Spellblades, Claymores, and Orbs into Minecraft, which can be equipped with different spells. To do this, they’ll need to be added to a Spellbinding table, which works in a similar Fashion to the Enchanting Table. Spells might allow you to deal area of effect damage, summon explosions, or increase maneuverability. And spells are going to be themed around three elements, Arcane, Frost, and Fire, with them requiring the correct runes to cast. Or there are Orbs, which don’t really act as melee weapons but can still be equipped with some different spells. Some different sets of armor are included, which can increase your spell power in certain elements, so it’s a pretty fun and immersive magic mod all around. Tiny Animations makes a small change within interfaces. When selecting an item with your mouse, they become slightly larger, and placing them down again will reduce their size to normal. And this is a client-side mod. Mage Flame adds dynamic light sources, which can follow you around as you explore. So they might be helpful during the night or while exploring caves. These can be crafted using Scrolls, of which there are 4, and they each have different durations and brightness levels. They aren’t too expensive to craft either, with them mostly requiring basic vanilla ingredients. There are different flame colors too, and it’s a pretty immersive mod overall. This mod brings a nice expansion to Goats. Firstly, they now drop Raw Chevron, which can be cooked as a new source of food. From Goat Horns and Copper Ingots, you can craft the Barbaric Helmet. Wearing this helmet will provide you with increased damage as your health gets lower. Four Goat Horns can also be used to craft the Ram Block. When these are used alongside Pistons, they can break blocks up to Obsidian. The mod even allows you to breed Sheep and Goats together, creating the Geep, which gives both Wool and Chevron. And finally, there are some decorative blocks made from Thatch. That covers some of my favorite Fabric mods released throughout January. I’ll be back again very soon with another Fabric video, as well as some Forge mods and Texture Packs, so stick around for those. You can find quite a few other videos on my channel too, which you might enjoy. Video Information

⁉ What is this series? This is Fabric Mods of the Month! I’ll cover the newest and most exciting mods released for the Fabric mod loader each month. Fabric is quick to update, and its users tend to stay on the latest versions, so most of these mods will be shown for the newer versions of Minecraft. The list will cover mods released in the previous month.
⁉ Explain the Mod Versions? At the beginning of a showcase, I’ll show what versions it’s available for in a small graphic. If it shows Minecraft 1.19.X, then it means that the mod is available for multiple versions of Minecraft 1.19. I’ll only do this for the latest version of Minecraft, referring to the final version for previous, such as 1.18.2 and 1.16.5.
⁉ What are the Shaders? I’m using Complementary Shaders. Inside the Shader Options is how I achieve the depth of field effects. No unique settings are chosen; it’s just on the High preset.
