And uh we’ll get to this one in the morning we’re getting pretty far in the book here so the first one is coming in from steel Meadow hey flip I was wondering what is your view on collaboration in the content creator world and how do you go about it love

Your videos to start off I love collabs but they are hard to work into content at times when you have so many different people being involved in them but that being said I really do love smpp series I would love to do it as my primary content if I could but single player

Just seems to work better for me and my channel as far as long-term series goes a few things that you don’t really think about but do play into collabs is if the POV is going to be seen by multiple people as in multiple creators are recording this and uploading it

Independently onto their channels there’s a lot of people involved and if you’re a little late on getting out there and everybody else is already seen the footage then yours is going to be old and it’s going to actually hurt your video as other people have already seen it probably multiple times if they’ve

Seen a bunch of perspectives think back to like the big events that we’ve had on Empires or when hermitcraft was over there there were 30 to 40 videos out on YouTube that were all published within the same day that a lot of it had the same content just from different

Perspectives throughout it not everybody’s going to want to watch every single one of those now that being said that also leads into a lot of scheduling that needs to be done to coordinate upload time so nobody has super old footage and also nobody is sitting on

That footage for far too long because if you have a whole video done and you have a collab in there and then person B that you’re recording with is like hey I didn’t get my video done can we post it next week and yours is already

Completely done and that like one or two minute bit in there you’re just like but can I just can I just publish this please I would like to be done with it it can suck at times having to hold back on that or editing videos differently so

That you don’t include it and you can save it for the next video or whatever it might be it just adds a little extra level of complexity to it that all being said though I love to collab with my friends and I really try to bring them

Into my own videos for small cameos if I can find a place to do it if it’s going to make sense or even bigger videos like maybe one coming next week hopefully and then I also do try and return the favor and jump into some of their videos

Without recording anything on my side so when their video gets published it’s all fresh and brand new content and we don’t have to have any of those issues that I mentioned when I was first talking about this stuff so if they need a second person or a body double I’m usually

Happy to help out if I can make it fit into my schedule turns more into helping your friends out with a project they’re they’re working on and then they’re going to usually in return be able to help you out on things in the future and it just creates a much more healthy

Environment and it usually works out really really well depending on scheduling and all that stuff now collaborating with new people which I am assuming is more what you’re talking about I used to risk it a lot and work with a lot of new people when I was a

Newer content creator as I was really trying to make those connections and find more people in the YouTube space that I meshed well with that I really got along with and that I wanted to record with more you got to try it once to see if you’re going to enjoy working

With that person or not now I can do the small talk thing and enjoy something like an MCC with people that I don’t know but outside of that I found that I definitely prefer to stay in my own Circle or like a friends of friends circle when it comes to collabs as we

Really know each other we know how each other work we know the energy level that they’re going to be bringing into the recordings and you kind of develop that good flow once you’ve done it with people a lot of the times like I know if I’m recording with Jimmy and Scott for

Example there’s not really any dead space and we kind of can tell one another person is finishing a sentence of that’s time for us to start talking and we don’t really cut each other off unless it’s kind of for a funny bit so it works out really really well and the

More you record with people the better you can play off their energy and their strengths to create some really really entertaining content it’s much more difficult to do that with somebody you don’t know and it can be very awkward for me if I’m chatting with somebody

Who’s just crazy high energy and I just can’t do that I can’t match that at all uh and if they don’t really recognize that they need to tone it down a second or just like a little touch like bring it down to S instead of being at 11 you

Know to somewhere that we can meet more into the middle it feels very very off in the process of recording and it also feels weird when you’re watching that type of stuff I’m sure you’ve seen a few videos where you’re like wo these two people chatting right now I love both of

Them but them together just is it’s weird it does not work that being said though I do think collabs and building those friendships are one of the most important things to be doing as a Creator because otherwise YouTube can be a very very lonely space of there’s no

Way that you meet people unless you’re kind of working with them or find a reason to chat with them to open that door and build that connection and it really does help to have people to talk shop with about outside of the recording sessions and some sometimes you need to

Get in that recording session to really kind of start building up that friendship second question today coming in from Slender 186 the only large enough to cover up that farm is a mountain or even a volcano the ash left by volcanic eruptions make this makes the soil fertile which would help to

Explain why there’s a jungle between new Papyrus and the copper farm and this can create a very strong erosion resistant concrete you could even use this Farm as a centerpiece for a third City in your world after some after you have the home base of the world tree after your home

Base has the world tree wordss are hard you know I don’t really know what else to say except yes that sounds like an awesome idea I have wanted to lift up the terrain near the volcano like I’m already saying volcano near the copper Farm around this entire region kind of

Along the entire edge of the ocean we can see out here that would be so cool to bring it all the way up and the volcano nearby could really help to explain why everything is elevated which I do love having the Terin War happening and it would be so awesome my original

Thought was going back to the gas Farm where I built a big Obelisk over the top of that was using something like that here to help explain why the beacon beam is going up into the sky I want to give those a reason for existing as I really

Just don’t like the look of regular Minecraft beacons if I can help it now I hadn’t even thought about building up another city throughout this region which could be really really cool having something on top of this maybe like a big fancy Palace and then in a lower

Plateaued region having the city down here but uh that might be a little big to think about right now before I even started doing anything unfortunately though I have heard the rates of the farm will get a lot worse if I Do cover

It and I did spend a lot of time on this thing so if we completely ruin the rates with a build over the top of it that would be a bit of a bummer so I want to do a little bit of testing in like a

Copy of the world and see how bad it would be if I put like say two blocks and maybe make some fake looking mountains over the top of it and see how much worse the rates would be on the farm because if it does ruin it unfortunately we’re going to have to

Leave it like this it would definitely be a bummer to have something like this sticking out here in the world but uh if that means the farm still works unfortunately we’re going to have to do that question number three coming in from Steven Jansen 5888 as another idea that’s popped into

My head you have a nether project coming up that you could turn into tall electronic type City to broaden the type of building styles you have in your world with the nether portal lines becoming streets and in between shoving some placeholder buildings for anything that you want to put inside of it not

Going to lie I am a little worried about adding anything too crazy cyberpunk or futuristic or modern or anything into this world as it would really complicate things and add a whole different lore element to stuff that i’ need to tie together somehow as currently all of the dimensions are technically linked

Together I have thought about including some sort of futuristic building elements in the end Dimension not some much in the nether right now after the next expansion out there as I think the glowing element that you get out of those cyber Punky builds could be really

Cool to show off in the distance of the end or maybe we even use one of those outer end portals I’m just thinking of this now to reach one of those outer end islands and half the way through that portal kind of Pop you out into a futuristic area of sorts I’m almost

Thinking something like Dollar on from World of Warcraft as the general concept but like a cyber Punk futuristic version if you don’t know in World of Warcraft there’s a floating city run by the Mages and they’re able to pick it up and teleport it around and it just is

Floating and we could do something like that and usually it does look pretty out of place for wherever they pos position it and so we could kind of go with that General theme and cyber Punk ify it up really really cool and make all machines and things of somehow they jumped into

This Dimension so that could be kind of a cool way to do something D different the nether Hub however I really want to bring in more lighter and brighter colors in here to take away from the dark nothingness that is the nether roof I can’t change the biome coloring but I

Can at least make my builds pop up a bit more and add in a lot of different Light Elements so definitely a big yes on that but I’m not sure if it’ll end up being with like modern city buildings another complication here in the another complication of building here in the

Nether is everything I do has to be spawn prooof so either I have to cover it with glass I have to cover it all with buttons or it needs to be a slab or something that would be spawn prooof inject General I know for a fact I want

To remove these crystals I absolutely hate them and I want to tear them down right now but I have no idea what I want to replace them with yet so if you have ideas on that please let me know uh I think right now we’re just going to cut

It and I kind of want to turn this Central Point into like a Coliseum Vibe so we’re going to take this General Arch idea in there that we have down there and bring it up bigger and grander into like stands and have inside of their big storage buildings and things and a new

Bartering Farm set up because running around to every single one of these and adding the gold let alone having to go back and loot all the things it takes a while to get around so I love this as like a fun element of we’re going to

Keep it in here but I think I also need a bigger one that’s uh a lot more end game levels for bartering because I L I use a lot of the materials and I would love to have a better way to get more of them in the nether though I’m definitely

Just going to leave the Farms up here and I want to figure out ways that we can make the portals out in the distance one be connected into this nether Highway and also two from here being able to tell what it is other than the

Fact that you know what I know that that one’s the end portal maybe that one’s the end portal one of those is the end portal I should to use that as an example that’s the drown Farm that’s the desert that’s the guardian Farm I don’t

Know which of those to is which I think I don’t know the world may never know but I do love the idea of keeping everything centered here around this big old hole down into The Nether itself because I think it’s really cool to have and we can build some more stuff down

There and hopefully clear out a lot of that terrain so we don’t see it too much and I want to keep expanding this cylinder going down as it’s like a power source or something I think it’s pretty cool I really love the look of it so far

And we just got to keep moving with it comment number four coming in from Lizzy Liz 7373 okay but hear me out this is the only Series where I’ve seen Zan play for many thousands of days and they still don’t have either a massive storage system or an auto storting system and

Never have I ever seen storage be this bad in a hardcore world oh my gosh my OCD is going nuts at this point I don’t think it’s ever going to happen and then I added a little smiley face in there they didn’t have it in their comment but

I feel like this really fit pretty well for the comment see I just don’t see what the problem is here at all I don’t know what you’re talking about at all no we definitely don’t have a storage issue in this world no no no no

No not an unorganized at all no I need these potions here specifically right there and I need all of these be that two beetroot and that one SE I need it right there it’s very I know it’s there it’s very important and these right here yeah I really need that 24

Snowballs very important yeah uhhuh two Cobblestone up here when I have all my stone storage right down there yeah I definitely need that right there uh-huh okay but for real though I don’t like having a full auto sorting storage system reason being is I have my little

House here flips home as you can see where we have kind of the main sorts of things in the world and I don’t want to only exist in here here I come in here for some of the materials that I don’t have a storage room for yet so we have

All of our nether things we have all of our leaves we got all of our flowers in there in there we got all of our end blocks we got some ice and tinted glass and stuff and all these other different things throughout I want to build places

In the world to store different items so that I keep experiencing the entire world I don’t have an auto sorting system because that means I run out in the world I build the thing I come back to the Autos sorting system and I unload things that get new things then I go out

In the world and do the thing but then I’d never have a reason to walk around anything that I’ve built inside this entire region unless I need to go to the sheep farm to get wool unless I need to go right there to get any sort of bee

Materials or bees themselves I’d never have a reason to go to those here I have all my lumber beinging stored and these are technically Auto sords I don’t really use them too much cuz it does break there’s a little mishap in the Redstone where some wires overlap for

The elevator system that takes the items up then for all of these things in here which is a little annoying but it is what it is so I just kind of put them in manually and then everything that would not sort as a log type is supposed to be

Coming down into here there’s a bunch of Hoppers behind that and then I divide those manually out into these different places for every single type of tree granted we did get a few extra types of trees so those go over here with the bamboo and the Cherry now I get all of

My wood materials in there and I love out I love that yeah my head hurts a little though and then for all my stone materials I come past my starter house down into the Quarry like I mentioned and inside of here we have the stone stone bricks the cobbles all these

Different things throughout and that gives me another reason to explore around this build that I made before I love walking through this place the environment is so cool to be able to be in here and see everything kind of going up here together then say I need a few

Things from the villagers we can come over here to our brand new shiny entrance and that gives me a reason to come all the way down here and check out all of these builds that I’ve done I know villagers you stop by a lot so I do

Have to come down here pretty regularly and I’m really glad that they’re kind of spread out we have our farmers down there we have our Librarians up there we have our tool Smiths armor Smiths up and weapon Smiths up there over in that place we have our Stone Cutters we have

The clerics in there the Villager breeder itself that connects everything behind the walls is right in there with a zombie conversion system right in here we have our fishermen right over in that building we have our super smelter and then these are waiting if we ever need

To put any more villagers inside of those yeah there’s a lot of stuff squeezed in down here not to mention my netherwart farm that I probably have never harvested to be honest and then we have a system on a Minecart Track this guy right here that connects you to

Three different geodes if I ever need to get any form of amethyst so that’s just fun to have all the storage elements down there for all the different things ow hey I made that so much bigger and I still hit the wall come on now but

Continuing on from there I can then take a moment to step over here into the city if I need any copper I have all of my copper being stored down in there that’s all aging down and then over that point you can see that building right there

That’s where all of my dirt materials are being stored so if I ever need any of those I can come there to check those out and that gives me a reason to explore through this entire part of the city I think you’re kind of getting the point that I’m putting across now of

Right down in there is all of my bamboo storage and everything in that and then in here’s where it’s going to be all of my leaves and foliage eventually when we figure out how to build this thing out as a functional storage room for every

Type of foliage but my end goal is to have a hardcore world that I’m living inside of and not just going from point point A to point B back to point a out to point C then back to point a then back out to B and building up over there

I want to be experiencing and living in all of the builds that I’ve spent the time creating and having a reason to go revisit and walk through the streets fly over the builds that I’ve made makes me a lot happier as a player and keeps me

Motivated to play for longer so yeah I know it would be really nice and simple to have an auto storage room where I just run in dump all my shoulder boxes and everything is sorted out and everything I could whatever need is done but I don’t really want to do that I

Think for me that’s not how I like to play this game but if that’s how you like to play the game totally fine but I find for me if I do that I have done that in the past for some series and I instantly find that I get pretty burned

Out I know it’s weird to say off of the storage room itself but it makes me feel a lot more like I have chores to do instead of being able to experience everything I’ve built unless I’m specifically like you know what today I want to just go walk through the city

For a little bit I don’t really have too many reasons to come up to this part of the city unless I need pumpkins and melons and the farm down there or I want to check out something that I’ve done there so I need to add more elements

Like that up here but adding my farms and adding my storage rooms around the entire world giving me a reason to keep walking around and exploring things for me makes me want to play the game even more and do more things inside the world and have more reasons to build new
