Audience has had a fantastic start to the new year we’re we’re pretty high for some minecraft action we sure are so we’ve had a little bit of a change of heart we kind of had a bit of a you know we decided maybe we could go ahead so

One of the places that we explored in a previous episode and maybe get a brand new build project going brand new projects for 2018 yes to be honest the the floating islands were getting to be a bit of a pain to navigate around it feels like we’re

Using up rockets like I know these business absolutely and and the Sun setting over here seems like you’re her a perfect metaphor for the Sun setting on this little area but we will be back do not worry we’ll be back especially considering we’ll probably leave part of

The stuff that we want behind to come back through but we thought with the new year we would bring in a a new area and boy is there so much stuff in this mod pack to explore the biome bundle really spoils you for choice when it comes to

Places to build but we think we picked out a likely location so I think we might sleep the night for one last time here and then head over there and find a new place to set our school and what do you reckon heck yeah man I’m gonna miss

This place for a little bit but by us going ahead getting a brand new settlement going maybe getting some new farms going with easier access to various resources maybe just maybe we can get back here with yes things I think this this is is making it difficult to farm with the the surface

Area we have on somewhere we can really spread out is going to be nice but as you can see in this item frame our heart will always be here it certainly will he comes folks in he comes don’t know Dow in the hot no right now just end up packet back

At the tower back at my last place I slept well here we are here we are folks and if you remember this place from a few episodes back now when we went exploring we found this remarkable plateau kind of thing it’s got this natural wall around three sides of it

And then this awesome-looking gap over here where we could build some sort of gateway the possibilities here are enormous and to be honest I’m looking forward to just being on solid ground for a little while tell me about it dude I’ll tell you something I thought about you down here

Compared to these mountains absolutely yeah left it almost feels like we’re being watched or it might just be all of the chickens that are around here oh I just had a weird vision in my head of a bunch of faces being built onto the mountainside you know long very own Mount Rushmore

Yeah we just have to figure out what to put up there as long as it’s not the wither because you know I felt a little bit ominous over at the tower with the wither being built just next door it did feel a little bit creepy but as always

Because I was a brand new area we need to we need to make a bit of a start doing a little bit of terraforming seeing some of these trees taking out the game although not too many I kind of like the look of some of these ones it’s

Nice to keep things natural especially considering these trees kind of go up the side of the mountain vanilla terrain they never really seem to do they don’t end up sort of balanced on single blocks of grass like that and sticking out of there it kind of makes them feel like

They’ve adapted to the environment a little bit so yeah I like that but yeah stuff like these cave entrances will make the ground a little bit more level so we can build like a I don’t know some sort of some sort of town here would be

Really cool yeah some sort of town but before we do that I think a nice little a nice little cozy log cabin with a couple beds and such would be a nice idea got a bunch of resources inside our ender chest day if I just chuck this

Thing down got a ton of sugar boxes with all sorts of stuff going on yeah we didn’t come unprepared guys let me tell you that yes we’ve certainly been collecting a little bit of stuff but the fact that we’ve got a base on the ground will mean we can collect even

More because we are running out of places to go mining back at the tower as well there are only a couple of caves nearby that we could really loot and plunder so around here look at it we’ve even got resources up there in the walls look that’s not really that’s not seeing

A little bit of gold and lapis and redstone poking out of there really makes this place feel a little bit more alive yeah the colors I really like that right so let’s let’s get some wood going let’s maybe harvest a little bit at the local woods so we can give it that local

Flavor and let’s build ourselves a log cabin yeah the clanking of skeletons oh oh it’s snowing now the snow cometh oh my goodness it’s starting to settle ah ha it’s a race against time to get all this light it’s just like yes we are getting the occasional snow storm hello

Down here and brighten things tend to be a little bit sunnier but it’s like bloody on top you’re north of the wall that’s how winter is perpetually coming all right let’s throw down a crafting table over here and fend off the skeletons for a little while and then I should be able

To make us some meds that sounds like a plan do you know what I wish there was the ability somehow to grow the custom trees in the biome bundle pack like whether it be like a special type of bone meal or something yes yeah that would be uh that

Would be pretty useful just being able to to have that custom stuff thrown in I think I’m pretty sure there are mod more packs that let you do that but I’m not entirely sure which ones right we got some beds sleepers like the area is safe

To sleep we can get rid of the snow camping in a snow storm not exactly the best way of doing it but hey it clears up the sky for us good morning good morning and I’ll have a breakfast of some smoked salmon I’ll only meet two lovely

Actually I should also bring up the fact that the the brand-new acts of Champions has been renamed oh my goodness what name hath you deemed it this his zombie is gonna be the first to feel it’s wrath no this one is named thanks to people in the comments who suggested this with us

Bein with this bein on my word and that is a promise because we are going after the wither again at something this area is gonna need a beacon and we ain’t building no wither statue on top of this beacon we are going to build a statue of

Us held but it’s it’s gonna be Victor I am against whatever the next wither we happen to fight is is goodness me yet this thing is is gonna be a bit of a beast when it’s done leveling up let me tell you yeah mine schooling at twenty

Five point eight damage is called three more levels to gain on it I think this thing may hit 30 damage that would be the same that would be incredible out of incredible I’m at twenty one point eight damage and still only level four let’s see how this turns out anyway we’ve had

A little bit of snowfall here but nothing we can’t clear up and hopefully spring is just around the corner indeed textures huh oh yes yes we should have mentioned that we are working with Mojang’s new vanilla texture pack obviously things are still in beta so some textures are the same some things

Are a little bit different and you know it just lends a little bit more interest to this world to see it what it would be looking like in the new texture pack and to be honest on I’m liking it there’s a couple textures over in there which I

Think need a little bit of work you know glass being one of them but yeah the glass is still a little bit odd and yeah there’s still a few things that people people have their issues with but I’m I’m happy to be working with it for now

And what things are gonna look like in the future so so it’s probably best to be ahead of the curve with these things and try them out here and there yeah definitely well in the meantime how about we start getting ourselves a cozy little log cabin going well let’s do that let’s

That one-day-at-a-time be come closer to spring man and the reading of this snow yes it is it is getting on my it’s when you’re running around and you did get the sudden like crunch of snow underfoot this little cabin is coming together pretty well I’m liking it so far we’ve

Little Auto smell to or something that’s a little bit worried about the zombie noises coming from the basement right now but we will deal with that those pesky neighbors what the heck are they doing man I know right alright let me let me mix up some glass and I will get

Us some glass panes in the front there mmm and yeah lots of room for little windows I’ll be laying plenty of the light in considering that most of the the Sun rises over this plateau I think so it’s yes gonna take a little while to

Oaky doors to be honest I think the new oak door texture is actually quite nice it fits into all the other wood types in a way they didn’t before so yeah it gets my vote it looks even more 3d somehow as well it is the new glass texture on the

Other hands I’m waiting for them to change that cuz not such a fan but yeah it’s not – not too bad well well make Windows out of it in the meantime yes sounds like a plan to me man Oh day three I can’t eat I’ve lost count

1041 something like that anyway the OL f3 coordinate screen yes so we’ve got a pretty much a complete first-floor at this point still working a little bit on the walls but this back wall is taking shape nicely yeah I’m thinking about what we should do with this the second

Floor up here but I’m also thinking maybe we should add like a little little canopy off to one side cuz symmetry is nice and it’s looking quite symmetrical right now but I think maybe just just popping in like a little once like an awning of sorts kind of over here we can

Mix in the different wood types and just make it seem a little bit more sheltered over here and then we could use this almost like as a an outdoor storage yeah like a little horse pen or something yeah that kind of thing just just somewhere where you can it can look a

Little bit more sheltered because we want to be a little sheltered from the elements out here especially if it’s gonna snow as regularly as it did over at the over at the tower just a little bit so we can get like a better feel for the place yeah now that the crappy cave

Entrances have gone yes it’s looking a little bit more human isn’t it yeah more put-together looking good oh this is gonna be an amazing build on sits done no first one huh yeah not too bad not too bad really breaking in this area with style yeah

Flowerpot on or some like that that what I like to do is if we’ve got some spare iron which I guess we have at this point we can always go mining for it what I like to do is it it’s either I do this with carpet or I do it with iron and

Make little iron pressure plates because for some reason the texture of these for me really reminds me of a sheet of paper okay something about the lines on it and stuff and and the texture has altered a little bit in this new texture pack and to be honest for me its face

In the wrong way but it looked like you know lined paper or something so I might might put little sheets of that on the desk here maybe a little lamp in the corner or something I think that look nice yeah why not I do very cool let’s

Put a for now I’ve got a dandy line that we can put in there there we go it’s so pretty it is it is we’re making this into a a nice little home home from home it’s amazing day one milli wait a minute look at the

Features I’ll put some little cobblestone kind of archways about the windows we got all these flower pots just add so much to it man just having the greenery around their little collection of bonsai trees it’s nice I like it I like it and it’s not too over complicated that’s the best thing about

This build is it’s it’s pretty pretty straightforward you’ve got a few different textures in there just to mix it off a little bit but the most part this thing is it’s looking very nice indeed it is were you finished with this little side air it was like a little bit

More you wanted to do or did you want to keep it as this little sort of stop pile of logs kind of like it like that yeah we’ll keep it open like that okay now I think maybe it has the potential to expand in future or maybe we’ll make a couple of

Out buildings and stuff little stuff storage sheds for the odd resources and stuff yeah but I thought having some having it like a pile of firewood out the front is you have a nice way to go to make these things feel a little bit more homey yeah we’ll do a little bit of

Tweaking in the interior this place is still looking a little bit barren for the most part but getting some furnaces up in here getting the practical stuff getting poached and brewing on the go then maybe we’ll turn the telly upstairs into a bit of a pad on the wall and

Stuff like that we’ll get some some nice nice lighting maybe some bookshelves that kind of thing alter to make it feel like a home but as a first build for this area and believe me friends there are going to be many many more done much better than this I’m really proud of it

One of the prouder builds that have been a part of like this is a really nice looking base and I think probably the best thing about it it fits the surrounding so well yeah it does it really feels like it’s nestled in there at the base of this joint it does and

Yeah we’ve got a few plans for what else we’re going to build here so we can start with this we can work on it as a as a theme we can start getting a little paths around the place maybe work out a little bit more law for this area and
