Minecraft has WEIRD Secret Cheats…

So I was browsing through the Minecraft wiki when I noticed a command I had never seen before. /playanimation I booted up Minecraft to test it out and see what it did only to realize that it didn’t actually exist. So, what command did I read?

Well, I looked back at the wiki and noticed that this command was exclusive to Minecraft Bedrock Edition. So I reinstalled Bedrock, created a new world, made a list of animations to try out, and what happened next was absolutely – well, let me just show you.

🎵🎵 A Hat in Time File Select Music 🎵🎵 The purpose of this command is to test animations on entities, so for example if I touch this, here’s me doing some sort of Bedrock emote. Here’s me being very surprised, ooh. And here’s me – *Vine Thud* Dabbing! *Mysty laughs*

But what makes this command so interesting is that you can use any animation from any entity, so here we have a piglin celebration hunt. If you don’t know, piglins can dance sometimes when they kill hoglins. And uh… it looks like this! I actually found a list of some of the funniest animations

This is crazy! But this command does not only work on me… It works on everything in the game! So if we make a new command block here… that is repeating… Uhm…how do I do this in bedrock? We can change this so that instead of affecting only us

It affects all mobs of a certain type. So let’s try… Minecraft horse. There are some of those around here. So let’s turn this on and… Oh my? He looks kind of normal actually. He’s just really big. Why did I look so weird and he looks so normal? What happened?

Oh that’s a big pony ʘᆽʘ Change this from horse to cow. Oh no! He has just such a tiny head. Look at him! They have big legs. Only the head is small! Now, theoretically this should work with any entity in the game. So let’s summon…

Let’s see, how do I scroll this list here? Yeah, let’s try an armor stand. *gasp* Oh my! He’s very large! Here, let’s summon him… floating. Okay, that’s not how you do it in bedrock. I don’t know how armor stands work in Bedrock, so were just gonna make barriers. Summon armor stand.

*Mysty laughs* Why does the plate stay small? This is such an inconsistent command. Oh, it looks like the animation stopped. They’re all normal now. Why am I still big? Wait a second… Look at my pufferfish! He’s massive! I didn’t realize I was holding him.

What if I just do like, negative 5? Is that fine? Is a hundred too – No? Anything negative completely breaks it. Well, I’m not too sure what I expected but um… this is new! I just had such an awful idea. What if we changed this… from player…

To just every entity in the game! Uh, possible seizure warning? Maybe? Oh, I guess there’s not that many entities. What if I just changed this from negative 5 to positive 5. Is everything just slightly bigger than it should be? Oh no, those are massive! Oh, look at our trader! Oh no!
